You're welcome, I should drunk note you more often. ;) Sorry, you felt bad this morning. If its any consolation, I'm pretty hung over. Also, I think it's cute that you use "f-ing" instead of actually swearing on your blog... =p
from liquid-mojo :
If he's a crybaby when you tease him then you pretty much have the upper hand. A guy that can't handle a joke isn't really a solid guy and you shouldn't be so phased by a guy who isn't solid. I may be drunk but that's my assessment on things... =p
from liquid-mojo :
Glad to be of service. ;) Congratz on the new computer. I don't have any desktop PC of my own. I've been lugging around a company laptop for the longest time, but I figure since it is free, why not? As for people not honoring their commitments, it's usually a majot annoyance for me as well. I usually wind up naturally distancing myself from those types...
from liquid-mojo :
Milk thistle is a flowering plant used for various herbal remedies. I don't think regular milk and energy drinks mix well at all. =p
from liquid-mojo :
we are giving thanks to each other i guess. =p
from liquid-mojo :
No, thank you. ;)
from liquid-mojo :
Sorry, didn't mean to get you all worked up like that. It was purely unintentional. ;)
from liquid-mojo :
thanks =)
from liquid-mojo :
Driving is like riding a bicycle, you never really forget. I think you will do fine. :) Sometimes I forget you are a Brit, until you use the phrase "throw a spanner in the works". =p
from liquid-mojo :
you have an abundance of feeling and emotion and even though quite a bit of it is negative as of late, i don't think that's necessarily a bad thing because usually the magnitude of how bad a person feels is an accurate indication of of how good a person can feel and once you find a way to shift into that good feeling you will be absolutely golden. As for the guy situation, you should just think of him as the icing and not the entire cake that way you can enjoy him while he's around for as long has he is around and not feel so empty inside if or when he's gone because you still have your cake which you could always find other icing for. what i'm really saying is that you shouldn't let the possibility, of things falling apart in the future ruin the happiness you can experience in the moment, because really the future is unknown and unpredictable. ok, i'm officially babbling now so i think i'll end it here... =p
from painted-eyes :
I can understand...I'm pretty lazy myself.
from painted-eyes :
Why so? I have two pairs of piercings already, but I really want an industrial.
from liquid-mojo :
nope sorry, no extra noses here. =/ hope you get better though. :)
from liquid-mojo :
yes indeed. =p but yeah, I'm doing fine. how are things with you?
from liquid-mojo :
Well what do you know, it's been exactly a month. Thanks for reminding me. I guess I should update soon... =p
from liquid-mojo :
i have a gray pinstripe suit, actually wore it to an NYE party. :)
from liquid-mojo :
All too true, usually I'd have bragging rights being the first kid on the block to have one, but the iPhone is a bit different because lots of apple iPod fans got the iPhone just because it was an "apple ipod phone" and too many other people had one other than me, which sort of made it less special. =p Anyhow, you have a happy new year too. Take care.
from liquid-mojo :
thanx, i was trying to keep in character for the outfit. ;)
from liquid-mojo :
hey you. ;)
from liquid-mojo :
Sorry to hear about the guy confusion, but you have a Happy b-day anyway. I'll be sure to imbibe a few drinks on your behalf to celebrate. ;)
from liquid-mojo :
Been a bit busy, but hanging in there otherwise. How are you?
from liquid-mojo :
Haha OK good stuff, I probably have your addy saved in my e-mail... =p
from liquid-mojo :
I'll have you know that I'm very good at multitasking my class lecture and sending notes to you. ;) Do you have a myspace or facebook so I can stalk, er I mean communicate with you more porperly... =p
from liquid-mojo :
Well, I'm in class now and you are probably asleep, but you have a good night too...
from liquid-mojo :
Yeah that's true, I haven't really been looking hard though, too busy with other things in my life, but I do try to keep an eye out though... =)
from liquid-mojo :
Just simple things like honesty, sincerity of course the lack of "flakyness" because I met way too many flaky females lately...
from liquid-mojo :
Well that's the thing, they are just girls, I need a woman in my life... ;)
from liquid-mojo :
Well, I can do that too, but I'll have to send a different resume... =p
from liquid-mojo :
That's why I put "boyfriend" in quotes, silly. What you really need is a lover, I'll send you my application, resume and references... ;)
from liquid-mojo :
Been doing OK, aside from the "boyfriend" troubles how have you been doing?
from liquid-mojo :
I don't remember what I was going to write from the last entry, so I guess it can't be all that important. ;) Thanks again for the b-day greeting. =)
from painted-eyes :
Something amazering...and remarkable...and I have to wait a few days to tell you.
from liquid-mojo :
You should be used to my cliffhanger blogs by now... ;) Anyway thanks for the birthday wishes. I'm guessing yours is coming around soon too, being a Scorpio and all...
from classicrose :
Yeah - I'm here, just crazy busy. But I'm trying to update more often now.
from liquid-mojo :
Most modern laptops, even the least expensive kinds will give you about 90% what most people need in a computer. Most of them come with Vista or XP, have broadband internet capability and I can't imagine any newer laptops out there not having any kind of wirless internet capabilities. Multimedia is also pretty much a given, they will have some sort of speakers and music player on board and can even play DVDs right out of the box. As for the PC vs Mac thing, the question is pretty much moot since the Macs with the Intel processors can be setup in dual boot mode so you can boot to either Windows or Mac OS. I've never really gotten into macs, mostly because I use PC for work, school and pretty much everything else. The only reason I'd consider mac nowadays is because of that dual boot capability, well that and their laptops are pretty stylish, especially the macbook pro. They are a bit expensive though, so I wouldn't go that route unless you have some money burning a hole in your pocket and you are willing to pay the price. Going back to PCs you should be OK with a lower end laptop. If you have a bit of extra cash you can go with more RAM or do stuff like upgrade MS Office. Also if you plan to carry it around with you you may want to test the weight. Lightweights tend to cost more money but if you have to carry it around with you everywhere it may be worth the extra cost for you. If you have any spefic questions just shoot another note to me...
from painted-eyes :
Life can't be pleasant all the time...It's just a matter of truth, so I don't expect it to be perfect, but some days, I foolishly expect it to be better than what it is.
from painted-eyes :
I'm too often drifting between happiness and not. I think I'm on my way to being okay again, but then sometimes, I get sucked down into a vortex of depression. But as of today, this moment, this hour, I am happy, and that's more than I can say for the past few weeks.
from liquid-mojo :
yeah but you are a chick and chicks talk and txt on their cellphones constantly, at least the ones I know of =p
from liquid-mojo :
pfft! i have a backpack and I carry all my gear with me so I'm never disconnected. =p It's a bit heavy, but luckily I got 2 tickets to the gun show right here "flexes arms". ;)
from liquid-mojo :
maybe you need to carry your charger w/ you at all times =p the iPhone is OK, I got the $100 credit last sunday and bought accessories and the like in the apple store yesterday. No significant software updates though. although i'm starting to itch for a new phone, i have to admit, the iPhone has one of the best mobile browsers out there.
from liquid-mojo :
I used to carry a charged spare battery and swap it out when the battery dies. =p
from painted-eyes :
I don't even remember...
from painted-eyes :
i feel like a bum...but now i'm happy, what?
from liquid-mojo :
Good choice. ;)
from liquid-mojo :
hey
from liquid-mojo :
hey
from painted-eyes :
Well, I'm feeling better already; aren't I dopey?
from liquid-mojo :
lol. thanks for the clarification. i think i'll pass out now. ttyl ;)
from liquid-mojo :
i'm so confused. so you actually live across the pond just not in london? help me out here. i'm still hung over. =p
from liquid-mojo :
sounds cool enough to eat. drive over and slide it under my door... =p
from painted-eyes :
Hey, yeah, take care of you. That's most important, I'll figure out my damn mood swings soon enough, alright? Seriously. You're the most important person for yourself so live for you alright?
from liquid-mojo :
i'll have to re-read your blog when i'm not hungover, my brain apparently is not functioning properly. =p
from painted-eyes :
I'm assuming it's just me being moody. C'mon, hon, you've read my diary, you HAVE TO know just how moody I am. One minute I'm up, the next I'm down. I'm sure it'll all be straightened out eventually. Don't worry about me though, kay?
from liquid-mojo :
you got literally stunned? because that would be cool, just send a mass e-mail stunning ppl. seriously though i didn't know you lived in london. i guess you learn something new every day. i'd say i lived in london too, but i'd be lying...
from liquid-mojo :
a bit hung over, but otherwise well. how goes it with you?
from painted-eyes :
I know what you mean, hon. It seems like I oscillate with each day...not even day, hours sometimes. I feel really down right now, and I really don't have any cause for it.
from liquid-mojo :
maybe you added me and deleted me under your former alias or maybe I remember seeing your sn in a mutual friends diary, who knows? either way the screen name sounds familiar. i could be wrong, but i'd never admit to it. ;)
from painted-eyes :
Heh, sweetie, they're really not that fabulous. My words are quite overrated, methinkest. :D I hope you're doing well.
from liquid-mojo :
Well first of all my deductive skills and my ability to recall are quite uber. But aside from that, we probably shot a note or comment with each other maybe once or twice under your old sn not as much as we chat nowadays, but still. On top of all that I also remember when people add me in their favorites, because I make it a point to return the favor. But yeah, that's how I remember your "fuzzycircles" sn. Hope that satisfies your curiosity. ;)
from liquid-mojo :
Well what really sucks, for me at least is right now the phone is locked to an individual SIM card, so let's say if I hand the phone down to my sister or mother who are on the same network and on the same family plan account even, their SIM card won't work on my iPhone. I suppose this is to insure that AT&T who is the exclusive provider gets that extra $20 or more a month for that iPhone data plan. Under the current situation I would have to unregister my SIM card and re-register it with the other person who must be on AT&T and that person has to enroll in a data plan in order to activate the phone to the SIM. I guess that's one way for them to make money... =p
from liquid-mojo :
I think it's cool. I can't wait until the iphone unlock is readily available, though it probably won't matter down the road since I'll probably be getting another phone anyway. =p
from painted-eyes :
Ah, yay, good on you.
from painted-eyes :
Or else Saturday is the pseudonmyn of a creepy stalker, eh?
from painted-eyes :
Oops, sorry, I sent that on the wrong user name
from saturday3193 :
It's an emo classic...I heart Holden Caufield.
from painted-eyes :
Well, I don't really get along with my family, but other than that, it was...um...livable?
from painted-eyes :
Thanks, it's kind of funny, I didn't know if anyone would notice if I snuck my way back in.
from classicrose :
*hug*
from liquid-mojo :
I think jealousy is a trait of Scorpios in general. I've had partners who were jealous types though, so I've toned down my jealousy because I know what it's like from the recieving end.
from liquid-mojo :
sorry to hear about the panic attack. at least the hp7 launch is out of the way...
from classicrose :
your welcome any time user: ohso pass: quiet
from liquid-mojo :
Yup definitely one of the joys (and pains) of being a scorpio...
from liquid-mojo :
So far no major bugs, but it is one of the risks of early adoption. Well that, and a potentially overdrawn account. ;)
from liquid-mojo :
By the time the warranty is up, it will be time for a new phone anyway, if I don't give in and buy one way before that time comes, that is. ;)
from liquid-mojo :
It might have been the link to the slide show, otherwise the template itself should be more or less slow-computer friendly. =p
from classicrose :
I don't know what your musical tastes are but I just saw a show last friday with three of my new favorite bands. First was The Pale Young Gentlemen (kind of like Killers meets a speak-easy), followed by Beach House (little Mazzy Starr-esque, and then The Clientele (very Velvet Underground) maybe that'll help with your musical aggitation. :)
from classicrose :
Ha,Ha,Ha no problem. I sometimes feel so needy about my blog. I am such a comment whore. So I understand the need to feel appreciated. Your appreciated :)
from classicrose :
I hate getting into a series in the middle. I appreciate the heads up. As far as sci-fi goes, I procrastinate about some of the same things. I waited and waited and waited to watch battlestar galactica, now I love it. Everybody has priorities :)
from classicrose :
The Web of Fire sounds intriguing. I love book reviews thanks for the tips!
from liquid-mojo :
For me, it depends which trek. TOS, TNG, DS9 and the even numbered movies are the best, while most of the odd numbered movies, Voyager and Enterprise are not quite as good.
from liquid-mojo :
I never really got into the Harry Potter book thing. Maybe it's because I don't want to be pegged as a nerd in that way. I mean Star Wars and LOTR, maybe, but HP, not a chance. ;) I found myself enjoying the HP movies though. :)
from liquid-mojo :
Awesome choice. Samsung makes awesome sliders and I think the U600 is the best of the bunch. U should get a 2GB micro SD, you can fit a ton of MP3s with that. :)
from liquid-mojo :
what phone did you get again? you know i need to keep up on these things... ;)
from liquid-mojo :
I hadly login to Yahoo nowadays, but by all means, feel free to add me. I haven't read much on the U600, but looking over the design and specs I'd say it's a pretty damn sexy phone. It pretty much as all the extra features I'd be looking for like a music player, bluetooth and memory slot. The thin form factor is also a defintie plus. The only thing that looks iffy is the battery life. I would also see if you can slip in a SIM card and try to make a call just to test out the earpiece volume and the like.
from liquid-mojo :
Thanks. I should probably watch my head too. =p
from liquid-mojo :
woah, i thought i was just drunk... =p
from painted-eyes :
Thank you kindly! :)
from liquid-mojo :
I think the SE W850i is a pretty good phone. It has both a solid music player and a good camera and I'm guessing since it is available through your carrier it has 3G capabilities. The music player is probably the strongest feature of that phone, because you can upgrade the memory capacity to 4GB via a Pro Duo Card, rivaling many MP3 music players out there. You can also use standard headphones through the adapter or go wirelesss using A2DP headphones.
from painted-eyes :
*hugs back* We're always online around the same time. :P
from painted-eyes :
So many boys!!!
from painted-eyes :
Mmm, thank you, I appreciate it.
from painted-eyes :
don't worry about me, i'll survive
from painted-eyes :
Thankya kindly. Enjoy your weekend.
from painted-eyes :
Well. My eyes are saying, "hey, we can't stay open." So until next time, I bid you adieu, miss indulgentia.
from painted-eyes :
Yeah, no kidding, eh. I think I'm gonna take a nap before my classes start. Already skipped my first one. '_'
from painted-eyes :
Honestly? I've always wanted to learn how to breathe fire like those chickies in the circus. It'd be pretty cool. Hm, my nails are bitten down quite short, so I'm lacking the clawers too. Ooo, I want combat boots ever after seeing "Ghost World" one of my fave movies, I'll have to add to the list. And randomness is always okay by me. Trust me, once you get to know me better, you'll realize this.
from painted-eyes :
:) Only if we breathe fire and have some nasty claws!
from painted-eyes :
Haha, this is like Instant Messenger. We're noting like BEASTS. If beasts were to note, that is.
from painted-eyes :
*hugs back, grinning* You have a point. Thanks for being a sweetie.
from painted-eyes :
It's okay, I'm betterish. Just not feelin so hot.
from painted-eyes :
Meh. Feeling self-loathingish pass so no long note. Just hope for the best for you.
from painted-eyes :
What song is that? Don't worry, later tonight, a longer note awaits you to respond to your longer note. ;P
from painted-eyes :
Corey wasn't my first boyfriend, but he was one of the first serious boyfriends I had. Seriously in love with him at the time. It was hard for me to admit, but I realized I never really loved a boyfriend before him. He was the first boy who told me he loved me and wanted to spend forever with me. He had visions of us growing old together. Talked about our future. I thought it was real. Thought maybe it would work, despite being in different places in our lives. I kind of wish I had some closure with my ex, he just left me hanging, his goodbye consisted of inconsiderate hang-ups and the dangling carrot: "Maybe some day I'll come back for you." For months, those words haunted me when I drove past apartments with twinkling white lights draped over trees, thinking, "He could have lived here...I could have spent the weekends, the weeknights, being with him in this place we could eventually call home. I could make him dinner." But then, now, I drive past those same apartments and think, "How lovely it is what they've done with those white Christmas lights." I think at times we all need a sense of finality. Closure is key for us women, I think. :D I understand the feeling of being alone for years, even if it has only been months, this is why I made the mistake of tangling the sheets with near strangers, just to have a body near mine again, just to fall asleep with someone's breath in my ear, my head snuggled on chest. But now, I am happy. It will get better. You will find someone, possibly Josh? Who knows? Just keep playing the field. Don't make yourself out to be too vulnerable though. Best wishes!
from painted-eyes :
Ah, two years of having Corey (this guy I dated...very seriously complicated relationship) in one of my classes after we broke up? That'd be so...well...awkward. I don't know; part of me is still heartbroken, but I mostly have moved on from him. Sometimes, you just have to keep moving forward. I tend to dwell on the petty things like love and such too much too, it's okay. :D
from painted-eyes :
By the way, that song "Meet Virginia" by Train, and that lyric you pulled out specifically..."Pulls her hair back as she screams 'I don’t really want to live this life!'" always appealed to me.
from painted-eyes :
Hahaha, I'm not one for distributing boyfriends, but this guy Devin is interested in me, maybe I can pass him onto you?? Anyway, I know how you feel. I don't have many friends and don't have much luck with them, but when I do, I hold tightly to them...I'm so possessive and easily jealous, it's ridiculous. It's funny there's this guy on campus who reminds me of my ex, nothing much about him is the same, maybe a similar haircut and small ears, but that's about it, yet every time I see him, I tense up and end up staring just out of curiosity if he's anything like my ex.
from painted-eyes :
*hugs back tightly* No problem for the note. The deal with me and my ex was that there was immediate chemistry, immediate sexual tension and whatnot, so it just buzzed the air. The couples who came into the store said we bantered like we were married, which I took as a good thing. I know all the down sides to wanting to be with this guy, believe me. Yeah, but are you going to get jealous of every female within a thirty-mile walking radius? Are you going to be paranoid that he's going to flirt with every customer? My ex thought I was flirting with every guy I smiled at. We'd talk all night until 4 in the morning, then get ready to go to work, and work together starting at 7 some days. It was just an infatuation where we got unhealthily involved. Just...be careful? Don't get your heart broken, you seem to be too good of a person to be doing that. Hey, at least, you can see an up if things don't work out, eh? I don't know. Good luck, and if you want, let me know how it goes?
from painted-eyes :
Okay, I just randomly discovered you, but I read some of the bits about Josh. I dated a coworker. It kind of works to a certain extent, it certainly makes the hours go by faster when you're working together because he and I would indiscreetly flirt and such, but if you break up, it can be extremely painful. Mine is that of a long and over-involved story, but just know, my heart was trainwrecked in the long haul.
from liquid-mojo :
*hugs* :)
from liquid-mojo :
it was my pleasure. :)
from liquid-mojo :
what link? i'm psychic actually. ;) no really, i remembered the username from your older diary from the link. =p
