| My GD, jana, what are the odds! I just read your journal of Dec 10 and my jaw is halfway to the floor. Mainly because I ended up breaking up with Charles at just about the same time as you and Baby. It's weird because at Thanksgiving, he and I were basically engaged (I flew home for the holidays with an absolutely MASSIVE diamond ring on the proper finger) but that only masked some pretty major problems. A week and a half later, I sent the ring back to him in LA and decided to stay in WI. Getting ready to go visit some friends up in Seattle though :) which makes the next few weeks easier to deal with. I haven't spoken to him in almost a month but for me it was absolutely the right decision. Hope you're getting through the depression and on with your life. Believe me, breaking up is absolutely awful but if it's not right now, it's not going to be right in the future either. Good luck girl, my prayers are with you. ~~ MN |

| aka annoxford....new diaryland site now but be warned it's not really for "good" christian girls...Anyway, after a HUGE series of ups and downs, I've made some major changes/decisions in my life, including a rather dramatic move from Wisconsin to . . . . .California, the LA area of all the places I could possibly manage to wind up. I'm living with some friends and dating the guy I will almost certainly marry (it's been a pretty serious topic of discussion and my parents have given us their blessing). You went on my prayer list when you mentioned that someone from your church was going to talk with baby - then there was the message about the birthday - then nothing. How worried was I? Today, I got on diaryland with the express reason of reading some of your older mails, seeing if I could track you down, and finding out if you were all right. I made some progress, and was debating whether to call the number that I had, when I noticed that you had posted just a few minutes earlier. I can relax, and so can you - I promise not to bother anyone you know! I stumbled upon your diary through a chain of references while checking out another diary by invitation back early in the year. | wow. just realized it's been a month, a whole freaking month since i quit journaling here. how's everything going with you? getting to do any modeling/singing yet? so i met that dude, et, that i was always talking about and oh my, it was even better than i thought possible. we spent five days together and at the end i literally had to peel myself away from him. i so did not want to let him go! and i'm starting to submit some of my stories for possible publishing too. lots going on but that's good. |

| Thanks for the encouragement about moving!! It's such a scary thought sometimes....Too bad it wasn't so expensive to live in California, I think that's the biggest reason why it was never a consideration for me. Thanks for the suggestions, though...:-) I also wanted to say good luck with your decisions regarding your relationship and marriage. I guess my only advice (that I can give from my measly amount of dating experience) is to pray, have faith and be patient.....God bless!!! |
