Radio entry good! Hulk Smash Clear Channel.

Keep complaining about not having any readers and I'm going to start second guessing my existence. Also: as an ex-Evanston person, I have to recommend the Fish/Chips thing at Nevins.

And no, Pop-tarts and JB go totally seperately. Sorry.. I can't cop to being quite that gross..

On Marjie: You poor thing. I totally empathize, because I've been through phases of going out to bars with friends who would literally repel nice, reasonable, artsy girls. I had a group of friends (both male and female) who were way into the fashion world, and we'd go to these clubs filled with crazy skinny girls talking to other crazy skinny girls on the other side of the dancefloor on their crazy tiny cellphones. I learned to enjoy it, but only after I decided that I was going to pretend that I was a tourist and not a citizen of club kid nation. Don't you have anyone to take you out to dive bars?

Sorry to be such a note slut (I promise, I'll leave you to write in peace), but I laughed really hard through this line: "The oldest girl was one of those really weird and really boring horse freaks with horse drawings all over her walls" I'm pretty sure I dated that girl. Drawings and everything; even a hand painted horsey mural of sorts. 8 hundred thousand ribbons on the wall. Awful.

Not enough entries! I only managed to waste 45 minutes cruising around, enjoying the dissection of pop music in 1989 (maybe I'll document my 8th grade trip to see Sonic Youth double billed with Public Enemy sometime.. the 'being dropped off by my friend's Southern Belle Reagan Democrat of a mom in front of the Aragon' portion of that story somehow sums up everything about that year for me) and the Bookish Flight Attendant, which has to be up there with Existentialist Cheerleader and Supermodel Archeologist in terms of unlikely and sought after combinations.
