Hello Dahling! I will confess, I never read your livejournal... mostly because I don't get update notices, and I forget. Sigh, so much to say about your last entry. First off, congrats on your new place and new kitten. Living alone is the first step to total self responsibility, I think. Even if you do feel alone, take comfort in the fact that your life, for the first time, is the sum of your own successes and failures, and that you have the controll over your life that was lacking living with your parents. Secondly, people are selfish. But it still hurts not to feel cared about. Part of living on your own (I think) is learning to live with the fact that while no one cares about your life the way you do, you don't really need to care about anyone elses life either. Though maybe that is a dismal way to look at things. And with the guys... what can I say. The best way to find a guy is to forget about finding a guy. No joke. Just forget about it. Men are often attracted to women who are not looking to get a boyfriend. Having a relaionship is the natural progression of meeting someone who is awesome and wants to be with you. Relationships are things you cannot seek. To find a guy to be your boyfriend puts, in my opinion, the cart WAY before the horse. All my love. Stay strong and focused on all of your goals. Love, Jes!

No no- what you wrote is good, and is probably more true to how you feel than you realize, don't feel like a hypocrite. Plus your unhappiness is so much more than how you look- it's a huge part of being a senior in high school and crazy transition and everything.

Hey...good luck with the back pay at Cash Wise. You're supposed to get a raise every 3 months I believe...and after 9 or so months of working there I didn't get one. I'm supposed to be owed over 3,000$ in back-pay and I'll never see it. ;-) And that was at the Austin store. I doubt it's just the Owatonna employees being scatter brained. :-( CW just likes to make it's employees feel extra special by screwing them over whenever possible. :-p Oh yeah...this is in response to LJ :o LEC

I grew up in Mpls- but when I started dating Billy everyone I knew seemed to be from Austin. And when Billy broke up with me, none of those guys seemed to know what to say to me anymore, and so I stopped even going to Gear Daddies shows. But if you are a fan, at the beginning of the song 218 there's a girls voice saying "God!" on a track and that's me because someone grabbed my ass in the studio.

No, I don't know what rubbing alcohol tastes like. But, it does taste like really cheap vodka with a hint of mint. It's one of those things where a taste can remind you of a smell. Cheap vodka smells/reminds a taste of rubbing alcohol. That's why I said it. ;)

i feel your pain (literally) with the whole boob issue (i've been a dd for about 6 years). if you've never been sized before, i would definitely suggest doing so. just go to victoria's secret or a department store...it's a little weird having a sales person "feel you up", but it's so worth it...some of your problem may be that you're wearing the wrong size. i was wearing the wrong size for YEARS. plus, "minimizer" bras work wonders...just a little advice from a fellow "well-endowed" girl. (have you ever read hooterville's diary? she's hilarious!)

It's not at all abnormal that you were grossed out by a guy's dick you saw on a porn site. If you had seen a vagina up close and lighted that way, you probably wouldn't have like it either. Porn isn't a very attractive way to few any genetalia. A friend of mine and I feel that it's pretty normal and natural for women to be attracted to other women and to enjoy their body. Afterall, females are the main body used for works of art, so it's pretty natural for anyone to be attracted to that. I don't think this is something you need to tell your friends. You sound unsure yourself, and I'm doubting any of them could help you figure out exactly what your sexuality is. Your sexuality is your business, so don't feel you have to announce it to everyone. If it feels natural to talk t your friends and family about it, then do so...but don't force it. I'm sending you a check for $50 this week. Atkins might be a good thing. I started and then quit cause I needed good food after drinking and partying lol but my friend Camille used to be a size 20 when she started and now she's a five. She actually lost weight really fast it was crazy. It's easier to do atkins when you have someone doing it with you. Keep your head up and don't get down on yourself :)

No, not Dragon Phoenix. We went to that place last year I think and we didn't like it. The food smelled like cat food and the place was so packed with mean people it wasn't inviting to return. We waited forever for a table and just felt really rushed being there. Tons of people raved about the place from where I worked and where John is at now and we were horribly disappointed. It seemed pretty cheap though. :-) I was talking about China Buffet right next door to Family Dollar. It isn't too bad and the food is actually edible to humans instead of felines. :-D Someone at my work said it was more authentic at Dragon but yikes..I'd hate to think that was authentic. ;-) LEC

Well, I guess I've gotten off easy so far, with my own. But we had his nieces for six years and his nephew for 8. They stole from us, snuck out in the night, stole the car, got into brawls, were hauled downtown by the police. The nephew actually had a paddywagon after him once. He moved out last May and is now the semi-proud father of a baby boy. The mother had her ex beat him with a shovel once, and a two-by-four another time. She's a great gal. (sarcasm, it's a talent) One niece lives with her child-molester father, the other is married to a guy that beats the shit out of her when he's drunk. I'm hoping to do better this time around. Tell you what saved the nephew: We took him out of school and put him to work full time as an apprentice to his uncle when he was 15. He's MUCH better now. (Baby at 19 not-withstanding.) You tell your mom to hang in there! (and fingers crossed, good luck, and Happy Soothing Thoughts)

Most of the others I'm keeping, but I may move other diaries to other people's names later but yea you will be reviewed by the person I put you under. Well, he is ADD. He's been off medication for 4 months now. The side effects were terrible. He didn't eat or sleep; he is not growing as fast as his brother; he started picking his skin bloody. Now it's just the sleeping thing. Obviously the eating thing is not an issue any more, I found the remains of four pop-tarts. :-) Actually, I was thinking just what you said, that we should go back to the doc for that clonidine that helps him sleep. i just read your recent entry - i'm really sorry you had to go through that with the guy from the church youth group, and i can see why you would never go back to that church...i hope it hasn't scarred you for life - there are good churches and good youth groups, and that guy clearly had some kind of perverse problem...he will get what is coming to him - you just take care of yourself and trust in God in your heart, He will lead you to where you need to be

Thanks for your note. I just read your "Bittersweet Symphony" entry, and I would suggest you ignore the advice of your friends and forget about Cailan. My daughter was with an emotionally abusive guy for almost a year, and she still isn't the same. Anyway, that's my two cents. You seem like a good person, and I'm still honored that you like my simple humble blog.
