11/3/15 Wow - welcome back!!
from tater-fay :
Yea, I'm really impressed with NetFlix so far! If you enjoy "Wisconsin Death Trip" I HIGHLY urge you to buy the book that inspired the film. It is so strange and fascinating!

Joining in the DL exodus! Make sure you let us know where you're going!
from heidiann :
I totally have the GERD and take the pill daily. It's worked miracles for me but I'd definitely prefer NOT taking medicine in order to cure something. Let me know if you find something that works! They're hoping it'll disappear after surgery but, who the hell knows. xoxo
from cardiogirl :
Grrr. I meant to say "entry of MY own." I have a great command of the English language.
from cardiogirl :
Hi Jodi, just found you and your guilty pleasures which inspired an entry of mine own. Tell me more about the Diva cup. What thinkest thou?
from heidiann :

from heidiann :
I'd love a link to the website when you're featured on it!! xox
from tater-fay :
That was a hilarious entry for some reason. From your husband reassuring you that he was enjoying himself at all the gay boy bars and then your description of the Placebo singers voice! :)
from tater-fay :
Happy Anniversary!
from tater-fay :
The bag of ICP t-shirts cracks me up. I love the fact that your parents are going to utilize the shirts!!
from tater-fay :
Thanks, sweetie! I appreciate it!
from sewer-rat :
That really sucks that your sister won't let your niece visit anymore! It sounds like you're the cool aunt that every girl should have.
from sewer-rat :
I hope the Bright Eyes show was good! I saw him the day before and he was talking to the audience about how he was playing a free show in his hometown the next day.
from sewer-rat :
I got my package today! Thank you so much! I wasn't expecting the other stuff- it was a nice surprise! The little shirt fits perfectly, and the video looks really cool although I haven't had the chance to play it yet. Thanks!
from sewer-rat :
I do! I've been looking for videos but I don't know where to get them!
from heidiann :
Yaaaaaaay for pleasure! The Icicle looks bad ass. I think you're inspired me to do some toy shopping... What better way to start the weekend?! ♥ ♥ ♥

Thanks for the suggestion! I just found out about those bulbs and they sound like a great idea. In fact, I was planning on going to the health food store after class tomorrow and seeing if they have any.
from tater-fay :
I totally agree with you about the government stepping up to the plate for this disaster..and I think it's so cool that you are donating to help the animals in the situation (that's would I would do if I had any money..it pisses me off that I'm so poor that I can't even donate $10.00 to anything)..AND I am so glad you donate to Planned Parenthood..Way to go! I volunteer for them..they are SO necessary!
from tater-fay :
Oh! I'm sorry to hear about your cat!
from tater-fay :
Actually, Oregon (and Esp. Washington..Seattle, in particular) are very mild places to live. Sure, there is some rain to handle, but people exaggerate how much rain. Seattle, in particular, rarely gets below 30 the whole winter and rarely gets above 85 in the summer....Central Oregon, where I live, is similar, though we get a little colder in the winter and much warmer in the summer (but don't have the humidity)...Move to the Pacific Northwest:) It's much cheaper than San Fran, too!
from sewer-rat :
I like the Dandy Warhols!
from heidiann :
I'm kickin' ass and takin' names, baby!!! =)

I like the entry about the unease in which many of us have in trying to get (and stay) dressed. Up until I was 25 or so I was rail thin. People used to asked me if I were anorexic in high school (which pissed me off) because I was THAT thin, but then I started to age (and started some anti-depressants) and now..I'm 35 and can barely get into a size 14. Most of my flab seems to be situated in my abdomen area and so I don't even buy pants that squeeze. It's so horrible but if it doesn't have an elastic waist now (or a tie waist)...I don't want to wear it on the bottom because I feel like I can't breathe when things around my stomach are tight. Oh, and my boobs are still really TINY (though this is the biggest they've ever been) and I am fortunate enough to still not have to wear a bra, but I wear these stretchy little camisoles or tanks underneath my clothing and I despise how they are always riding up over my stomach fat no matter how many times I stretch them back down over my buddha belly. Argh! Ok..enough of me babbling about my body fat that you DIDN"T EVEN ASK ABOUT!
from tater-fay :
I bought and used one of those deodarant (sp?) crystals several years back. I was amazed for the first couple of days, but then we had one hot day and I stunk to high heaven...so, keep us posted as to if it keeps working!
from tater-fay :
cool name..Caddie Woodlawn. I have fond memories from my childhood of Caddie!!
from sewer-rat :
No but I've been interested in them lately:)
from tater-fay :
Thanks for the compliment..sometimes I need an ego-boost!! Poor little rats..I hate it when my pets are sick or die!
from sewer-rat :
what message board were you referring to, if you don't mind my asking?
from heidiann2 :
I bought that book last week!!! Now I'm looking forward to reading it even more. =)
from heidiann :
Have you considered selling on eBay? Then you wouldn't have to worry about insurance or taxes. Just a thought! =)
from heidiann2 :
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

from trayceetee :
Hey, stranger! I've been catching up on "back issues', or whatever. Just read your second-to-last entry, about having a Real Job. Amen, sister! I STILL feel like a failure around my folks... luckily, in their eyes, at least two of their children are failures at any given time. And, more often than not, I'm not the constant failure! Tee! Hee! Anyway, I appreciate what you said about me. Being a cashier's not the best, but I do still like it. And I'm coming to a point where I really defend my position as full-time-Mom as my job. And by the way, the pay sucks! :)
