That was my latest epiphany. In my self-centeredness, I never considered that my thinking was disrespectful to them; that I wasn't giving them any credit for looking beyond. I need to explore that issue further, I think.

I will be able to do menswear at some point. BF gets new dress pants first. But hey I figure I will be able to make tons of things. Not to mention scarves!
from ladechat :
I agree. I don't think we need to "speak each other's language" so much as we need to *understand* each other's language. Just knowing that someone *might* misinterpret the meaning of what we say makes us more diligent in being up front and clear. It doesn't happen over night, though. It takes lots and lots of practice (and mistakes) with individual people to get it right. You wouldn't happen to be a Sagittarius, would you? We Sag's are usually dead-honest in our communication.
from ladechat :
Is it really wise to jump to that conclusion? There were many other people there he could have been coming over to see.
from justjano :
I think they bought them when we were knitting. I think my needles are in Chicago in the vortex of co dependancy.
from justjano :
Jonas it is far far far more complicated than just telling these co dependant freaks that they are co dependant. I think they relish it and think the rest of us just don't have as close relationships as they do. Like the night that we went to Bru--if one of them left cause they were sick or had a bad day the other would have gone too or stayed out and called every 10 minutes! So that must explain to a degree why I am the commitmentaphobe that I am.
from ladechat :
Hawaii Jan-O. That's good. Actually, we sometimes refer to her as Hurricane Jano, which is much more appropriate. Glad to hear you had fun meeting Jan-O.
from justjano :
I am not sure where your guest book is, but I thought I would just say hi. Yes it is Jan-Noooo!
from priceoflife :
Hi! My name is Lauren. I recently started a message board and I'm looking for ways to get the word out. I'm giving you the link, and if you are interested, check it out!! I'd also appreciate it if you told others about it!! Thanks a lot!! http://s3.invisionfree.com/Laurens_Board/index.php

You asked me ages about how long I was out of work after I'd been laid-off. Um...about eight months, I think. (I'm answering here because I'm at a different computer and don't have your email address. Also, something seems to be wrong with the guestbook feature). How are you doing?
from slapmeharder :
wow you just did me the hugest favour... such a grand jesture.. and you didn't even mean to and.. yeah.. gosh I'm having a moment and I can't explain it and you can't be here. Strange. Yay for you. xxx
from slapmeharder :
guestbooks are all saying something like "whoa you can't come a-signing so soon since your last guestbook confession" so I thought I'd circumnavigate the whole guestbook/comments arena and leave this little mixed up shambles of a note. Hey Jonas!!!!! xxxxx
from leslieirene :
Haven't seen the movie yet. As far as being an angel...hmmmm...at the rate I'm going, hell if I know ;)
from justcircles :
you conceited bastid.... :)
from muxxie :
Ok I am not too famous, there is a girl that looks like me that did fuckingmachines.com but I have mostly been ddoing small stuff. I have sold stuff to distributors though. as for the waves, the first wave of feminism was the sufferage movement at the early 1900s and the second wave was the 60s-70s women's movement.
from justcircles :
so, hey there... I'd never signed this before and figured I'd do that...
from muxxie :
not too sure how you found me but you have a kind of funny thing going on so will keep checking it out. hate to admit it but I am orginally from Brighton, about a 30 mins north of Ann Arbor but I have lived here three years continuously so I consider myself a townie. It's a nice place here and I am enjoying myself. =)
from blackmartha :
I liked your entries about bigotry...and can of course relate...
from justcircles :
the entry is correct: Thy firmness makes my circle just and makes me end where I begun. I guess I quote it in contexts from time to time and let it get switched around until I can't recall the original form. Thanks for noticing.
from lintpickle :
Did that make you feel poopy? I think you are the brains in that outfit...
from lintpickle :
Are you kidding? I'm ALL ABOUT SCANZILLA. He's a little foxy pudding that one..haha.
from zostrich :
nope, not a smoker. in theory i'm straight edge, just not militant. and i'm not a gay man; that's all my friends. which might explain my viewpoints on a lot of things.

from robin-smith :
Gee, I make it into your dreams and all I do is jog? Your subconscious is dullsville, dude.
from robin-smith :
Smartass! And speaking of ass, I love your new template. Erotilicious.
from redhott27 :
hey thanks for stopping by--and boy i wish i had a warning before i opened up your site at work... thank god the boss wasn't standing behind me. :) though i personally like the wallpaper quite a bit...
from robin-smith :
Seriously. And it's right at the beginning of the page, so page 524 of the dictionary has "fist-fucking -- fix" as a header. Surreal.
from robin-smith :
How could you forget THAT? It got the tiara!
from robin-smith :
I think I've gained a few pounds since that photo was taken.
from habbit :

from habbit :

from ladeeleroy :
Well hells bells. How does a lady get access to the scribble at the end of the hall?
from ms-m :
Bat boy! Whoo Hoo! That's a good one! Thank you for the congratulations. Muchly appreicated.
from ms-m :
You had me at 'Twinings'! I totally forgot to write about the weekend that just passed or that I'd be away today (Monday)! Sorry, man!
from lacynoyes :
is stella an inny or outie?
from genghis-jon :
Ugh, I don't want to seem ungrateful that you put me on your buddy list. I'm actually thrilled with want you wrote. But I need to tell you that you have to write my name "genghis-jon" instead of "genghis jon" or it won't work. What an ego I am, I know. Just want everything to work, you know?
from gwenyfare :
woohoo. someone went gold! ;)
from ashala :
JP! Just noticed your message! Read your email luv... Asha
from gwenyfare :
mr. parker you are poetic.
from jonasparker :
Ash, I have an idea. I'm going to start a guestbook. I think it might be better and easier to communicate with it. Of course there's always [email protected]. As for the biddies there, I definitely do not condone their attitude sometimes, however occassionally they do have a point. We should probably not turn the board into a personal signup board la bianca.com. You know? I'll see what I can do here for the guestbook and so on.
from ashala :
yes jonasparker...you really should start checking your notes here...I'm beginning to feel uncomfortable just being my mischievious self at Chatelaine. Don't think I've gained any loyalties there! I'm amazed how you seem to bend to them eventually JP? Why do that? Its just a bunch of frustrated old ladies who don't "get enuf"! Actually, I have noticed a few who I could correspond with on a regular basis but the majority are just full of ****!
from ashala :
Hi there...I really did lose your email address *again*...things are getting hostile again at chatelaine...why DO you continue to hang around such nasty people being basically a nice guy yourself? Puzzles me...
from semirhage :
ROAR! I posted a response to your question in my diary - figured it made more sense to do that than to do a note. :) Glad to see you writing again!
from katima :
dude, I live in Verdun! Oh, wait, yea, it is crappy.
from ashala :
Nor do I read my messages...nice to see you...chatelaine is becoming very boring again...what do you say to...
from katima :
i know this is a complete and utter cliche, but hon, love hurts.
from katima :
*e* is me. ah hell, there goes incognito.
from gwenyfare :
*a* is me. :)
from ashala :
that was diary entry dated Dec. 3rd...
from ashala :
hi jonasp...I see things have been up and down for you...but then, what fun is life without a little adrenalin rush now and again? Oh, my question for you is "who the hell is "a"? see your latest entry dated...let me see...gotta go check!
from semirhage :
I'm going to be one of those sickeningly optimistic people. Everything will work out fine for you, I'm sure. Somehow, stuff always does. I'll click my ruby red slippers three times, just to ensure it. (Mine work for things other than "There's No Place Like Home" - and really, they're plum purple, but who gives a crap as long as they work, yes?)
from semirhage :
Sylvie sucks! I feel your pain.
from poedible :
Alliterated Magnetized pulled all out of shape, stretched to the limit, not quite to the breaking point. May recoil and scuttle back into the coiled protective point of this carapace. my sweet white belly wounded where he plunges and plunders for passion. preparing his way those small nailed tentacled tentatively pushing the muscled coiled fleshed filliped once in ohhh rein him in eat my fill finally suffused passioned pulped purple.
from lacynoyes :
jonas hello! thank you for your note! sometimes or rather some days i guess it just builds... triggering an overload. i was serious about the way you write! your diary is quite interesting. i have never tried to send anything other than text through these notes before. please let me know if it does not make it across. take care.
from semirhage :
I've hit the mid-twenties crisis too. It is not the least bit pleasant. As to where Semirhage is in the books, I'm afraid I can't say. (I can't read Winter's Heart yet...sigh.)
