First, I just popped online to check e-mail this morning and I didn't have time to finish commenting, but I wanted to say that I believe everybody has value, and everybody is put here for a reason, even if it's to make life a bit better for somebody else. As for the HTML, you're welcome to it. If you go to View, Source (or Page Source) in your browser, you can see the HTML of any web page. It's also a great way to learn how to do things. My script font links are actually gifs I did in Photoshop Elements. That's one trick for you, if you want to use a specific font. (Not necessary for a common font like Arial Narrow, which is my text.) I also used Elements to find the coordinates for the image map. I imagine most any graphics program would work. As for the colors, Google "web colors" and you'll have more information than you need, but this is the site I use: http://www.lynda.com/hex.asp I always do my entries in Word, so I used the custom dictionary to create a shortcut for the colored line I sometimes use. Hope all this helps!

Yes, we've had a extensive newborn screen done - that's what got us in to see the BioChemical Genetist, that then referred us to see the NeuroGenetic team that sees Aidan now. Currently we're in the process of getting his seizures under control and then we'll be doing a muscle biopsy to check for either metabolic or mitochondrial disorders.

I understand the black mood. I have only recently come out of the blackness and now face gray but it's better than black. The lupus is bad enough with odd pains that strike indiscriminately, mine affects my nervous system most of all so my nerves misfire sending pain and itching signals to my brain constantly. Then there's the muscle pains from fibromyalgia. The Chiro helps but causes inflammation which tells my lupus to start kicking up as you know. It all sucks. I'm sorry == and the drug cocktails just help the pain a tinge but do nothing to solve the problem.

OK, I read it. I am not sure what would cause that. I have IBS and sometimes have some of the symptoms you mention. I would not be surprised if it was IBS, but then I think a lot of issues are labelled IBS just because the doctor doesn't know what else to call them. Anyway, you definitely need to go talk to your doctor about it. I can see why your eating habits are messed up. Fear of pain will do that to you. Let me know what happens.

I completely believe you. When you muck up your metabolism you realize your body can subsist on very little. I also know what you mean about not being good at eating, oh do I know. I actually have "alarms" on my computer at work to tell me when to eat. Maybe you should set that up as well? Also, the easiest way to remember to eat is to have everything basically ready and with you. I carry a small cooler around (when I remember) and fill it with everything I am going to eat that day. I also have my bottle of protein (EAS Whey Protein) and at least 4 bottles of water. I'm doing okay at it, I forget a lot. But it is getting better. We should talk more about this in e-mail or something...

Whoa. Be careful girl, this is scary stuff. (Like I should talk, huh?) Nayway, what I have learned is that eating breakfast is the MOST IMPORTANT thing you can do. Just force yourself to have 1 nutrigrain waffle and one little 4 oz protein shake (I'll get you info on the brand I use, I love it) and that is all. 5 minutes and it won't make you feel full. And if you add a couple strawberries you will have an almost nutritionally complete meal. I don't do much dairy, so I leave that out. I've been trying to do this every day and I do notice the days I do it I feel better and I am not such a nutcase (like normal). Take care.

Hey there. I wrote something, thought you might be proud of me. :) Mary Kay does have great products. I almost decided to sell them once, but the thing about selling them is all your friends suddenly become your "customers" and you have to be careful that they don't see it that way. I have actually lost friends because they started selling Mary Kay and everytime we were together they would do a sales pitch. the best Mary Kay friends are the ones who quitely let you know they sell it and let you come to them. But that entails doing something that is the exact opposite of what Mary Kay teaches, and that is NOT trying to get others to sell. The thing here is a group of friends can only support one seller. If there is competition, they will both end up going out of business. Do you see what I mean? Anyway, good luck and if I decide I need some products I will let you know. :) Like I said, they do have great products, some of the best foundation out there.

The radio sounds like a good idea, that should definitely drown her whines out. Also, make sure she's in a room (if possible) that is not walled with your neighbors. That would also cut down the chance of them hearing her. Is there a provision saying you aren't allowed to have pets at all in your lease? If push comes to shove, you can always say you are just watching her as she is very sick and her owners are out of town, that will buy you some time. I'm glad to hear that she is doing better and getting stronger!

Aww that poor kitty, you are wonderful for taking care of it. In my own experience, cat's are rather easy to hide, we have hid ours for the past 3 years. I just thought I'd drop by, saw your note in Catsmeow's notes regarding your new little friend, hopefully she gains some strength real soon.

Nope, he was on an island in the Indian Ocean to start off with, then they have fill-ups and pick-ups in Italy & Greece and then come to the states. Seems there were 5 people more important than Steve and 4 other "coming home on leave" people that needed the seats ahead of them. Oh well, enough bitching from me about it since there's not a damn thing I can do.

Nope, no purple stuff here, but I know what your talking about. I believe it's called Gentian Violet. They gave us Nystatin liquid that I have to put in his mouth 4 times a day. What got me is they didn't give me any medicine even though I'm nursing, so I'll ask when I go on the 11th. I feel fine though, so maybe his medcine is working against me getting it too.

What's the NEW diet info you found out??? Go ahead and share the info with me. I'm already about 13lbs less than I was when I got pregnant so I'm pretty happy, but I'd like to lose another 8lbs before my hubby gets home in 4 short weeks (yes, 4 weeks and he'll be home). Well, each review site has different hurdles they want you to jump. Mostly you just have to put the link up somewhere in your diary back to their site. If you go to my extras page, then to the review page, I've got a huge list of review sites you can request from. It's actually kinda fun, as long as you can take criticism. Lots of people get angry after a review is done, but I just have to remind myself that the reviewer wouldn't have given me his/her opinion had I not asked for it. I'm a step ahead of ya on the vinegar thing. I've been using it on sunburns for YEARS! I always smell funny afterwards, but being a redhead, I get burned so easily. It JUST occured to me that you're not on my buddy list! I swear I put you on there, but I guess I didn't. Well, on you go!

Scribble's been down for a couple weeks, from what I've heard. I'm all for having faith in Tom, but I just couldn't risk putting things as precious as the last bit of my pregnancy and the upcoming birth of my daughter in a place that was about to keel over anyway. Two weeks down is just unacceptible to me, so back to Dairyworld I drudged. I had to choose the lesser of two evils. As for image hosting- have you seen photobucket.com? It's completely free, from what I've seen.

Thanks for your note you left on my diary. I do see where youre coming from, really I do. And I tried recovery. These past few weeks I have gone up to 49kilograms, so I put on 7 kilograms... thats around 15.4lb. I thought it was the right thing, but its made me so depressed I feel more harm than good being done. They always say you will never truly recover until you truly want to. And I think thats what Ive found.
Can I ask how you went about recovery?
How tall were you when 16? As in, Im trying to see how tiny you were if you dont mind me asking...
