from calthea :
Just wanted to say hey and congrats. I hope everything goes smoothly for the wedding. (Saw your engagement pic in the local paper.)
from shear-madnez :
Woohoo girly! Kick ass and take names!
from jellehbelleh :
long time no talky. I've moved my diary due to scary stalkers... but I'm alive on Wordpress. Glad to see you're still around!!!
from thecrankyone :
{{hugs}} I hope it turns out to be somethign simpler, but while there is no cure, it is treatable, with meds and therapies. Good luck...
from yankee-chick :
That does sound scary! I hope the DR is wrong and it doesn't end up being something that you have to deal with forever. Good luck, girl!
from thecrankyone :
Glad to hear Beau is hanging in and holding his own. Poor doggger. Hopefully Daisy will pass what ever she ate. I guess some dogs just dont' learn LOL..
from marlen816 :
Glad Beau is better. Hope Daisy is okay.
from alwaysange :
I am so relieved to hear that Beau is at least doing okay. I checked your pages a few times in the last week hoping for an update. I'm glad some positive prayers, thoughts, vibes, hopes, etc seemed to help your situation.
from cosmicrayola :
I feel so bad. I know how much you love your pups. I hope whatever this is, it clears up and goes away with the meds.
from kitchenlogic :
This is so so so sad! You poor guys. Hugs from me.
from chaosdaily :
awwww I'm sorry about Beau.....
from retro-cat :
i'm sending all my best to Beau! what type of dog is he?
from calthea :
I am sending good vibes and prayers your way for both of you.
from kitchenlogic :
Oh dear. I will say a prayer for Beau tonight. Even though I am an agnostic. I hope it helps.
from cosmicrayola :
Merry Christmas to youuuuuuuu!
from shear-madnez :
Merry Christmas!
from shear-madnez :
Can you contact the Judge or whoever issued the POA? Maybe they could "formally" contact him with an affidavit or something.
from jenniam :
i totally forgot about Blaise when I left diaryland. Thanks for the re-intro!
from poolagirl :
But...of course! You simply MUST come!
from kitchenlogic :
Thanks Sweetie!
from shear-madnez :
Happy Birthday!
from forty-plus :
Heard from your mama that it's your birthday ... HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I hope you have a wonderful day and entire year.
from thecrankyone :
Good luck. I've been following the whole WSI fiasco in the Forum, and don't get me started. Their so screwed up its not even funny. Good luck. I've only dealt with them a couple of times years ago, thankfully they were small claims so I got them, but they were still not fun.
from alwaysange :
What rotten luck! I hope you don't have to go through that all again. Are you ok?
from mahvalicious :
Oh, please don't do the w0rkmen's c0mp thing. It reminds me of BoXx as I'm sure it will everyone else also. Love Mom
from thecrankyone :
{{hugs}} good luck. I hope it isn't anything to serious. Being out of work, or unable to work sucks, especially when the bill collectors still expect to be paid.
from thecrankyone :
I can understand why some customers might think my name is Polly or Molly, but Harley, Laurie, Hallie, or Marley??? My diction is clear, some people are just auditorily challanged I think.
from taken-by-you :
I don't think I'm 'nicer' than you - I just didn't want to be like the people who led to her needing to come live with me in the first place - and before I left (in May), things were great... somehow between May and late August, something changed. At first it was fine - because I was just happy to be in America, but once the novelty wore off, I started getting more irritated by what had happened and was happening. And now, things are how they are now. =) Getting better, without her in my life.
from nakedbarista :
Thankfully, we will have already shipped up everything that really matters to us. We sent a big shipment up with my parents when they were here in August and Kyle's mom is coming to take stuff back in her truck. Then all there is left for TMO to take is the day to day, easily replaceable stuff. : )
from kitchenlogic :
Fingers crossed for two job promotions for you two!!!
from yankee-chick :
Hello, "Lovely Daughter". I'm a buddy of your Moms. Hope you don't mind that I pop in once in awhile to read you!
from calthea :
Thanks for the laugh! I also hear some dooseys of stories working in the credit card part of the banking industry. I bet the banker had a hard time keeping a straight face.
from alwaysange :
Haha, I love that banking story! Makes me giggle. Thanks for sharing. :^P
from astralounge :
Hmm. I missed when you and Dave broke up and you started dating Rob... I just skimmed through some old entries but I never did see an explanation! Did you not write about it?
from alwaysange :
I still read. Congrats on the new vehicle -- lucky you! And congratulations on finding a guy who knows the value of spoiling his lady. That is the grand prize right there ;)
from chaosdaily :
kids new car tells her the name of the cd that shes playing, and the song title. how cool!!
from kitchenlogic :
The kind of friend who would leap a tall bitch for you is the best kind of friend to have!
from noaddedme :
I'm so sorry for the loss of your beloved furry ones. My thoughts are with you!
from chaosdaily :
awwww sorry... those furry members of our family are surely missed!!
from kitchenlogic :
I'm so sorry! And I'm also sorry that you were out of town while I was in town. But then, I never told you that I was going to be in town so you didn't even get a chance to reorganize your vacation. Like you would do that knowing I was going to be there. I'll be back. And I'll let you and The Mom know ahead of time so we can all go drinking and Jane-bashing together. Oh god, I so look forward to that day.
from chaosdaily :
what happened to miss miss?
from jenniam :
am i one of the 3?
from nakedbarista :
You sure can, toots! Just send me an email and I'll get it to you! : )
from shear-madnez :
Congrats!!! Love the idea of cupcakes! Wish I'd thought of that.
from jenniam :
wowza CONGRATS!!!
from chaosdaily :
congrats! the last wedding i went to had mini cheese cakes. im sure they were at least $2 apiece which can add up quickly! cupcakes are a great idea though, everyone can have what they want! if you bake them in ice cream cones, you dont even have the mess of the paper (i did that for the kids)
from thecrankyone :
Congratulation on the engagement I'm so happy for you. Oh and I love the flowers on the layout too.
from marlen816 :
Congrats! Sept 20 is my mom's birthday =)
from cosmicrayola :
Congratulations!! Wow, you may stay away for awhile, but when you post, you post!!
from chaosdaily :
he was wearing your pajamas???? dang!
from alwaysange :
You mentioned it on MySpace but I am still so happy for you. It sounds like everything is coming up roses and it couldn't be happening for a sweeter person!
from calthea :
Congrats and good luck! I will keep my fingers crossed for you.
from captainron :
Good Luck!
from jenniam :
CONGRATS! Write and let us know about Monday!
from chaosdaily :
personally, i would complain loudly to the management of that particular store, and to whatever customer service thing i could find online. best buy = worst service!!
from saved0803 :
Kat, how are you? I hadn't been to your site in while. I'm confused as to what's been going on in your life. I guess cause I don't read your MySpace website. Hope everything is going well now.
from calthea :
Hi. I am going to lock the diary for a little while. Please e-mail me if you would like the password.
from simplymandy :
I likey your current layout :). What are you looking for? Any specific images that you would like? Let me know, and I can give you an ETA for completion! I would be more than happy to make one for you.
from nakedbarista :
I think I see the image. I see green lines and tulips.
from nakedbarista :
Actually, it's "I've got the blues for red", but I'm a fan of the waitress one too! : )
from marlen816 :
Hey - did you break up with Dave or have you always been dating Robert? I think I missed something.....
from simplymandy :
I managed to pull it off okay ;). But there were a lot of wrecks. It was a messy few days here.
from jenniam :
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!
from alwaysange :
Congratulations on the workman's comp disability approval! That has to feel fantastic! And just in time for the holidays!!! Whoopeee! You totally deserve this good fortune.
from nakedbarista :
Oh, I think I missed a few entries. First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Second, I think I missed the jump from the wishy-washy hubby to the new boyfriend. Were there some private entries I missed out on or should I just keep on reading and not ask any questions? LOL
from cosmicrayola :
Belated happy birthday! I am so late. But I didn't know it was the 15th. Why aren't you on my birthday list, Missy?????
from captainron :
Happy Birthday! I hope this year is your best one yet...
from dbfeb :
Happy Birthday to one of my oldest and dearest Diaryland friends. You have grown so much and I'm so happy to see that you're happy and living the life you were destined and deserved to live. Happy Birthday and many many more.
from jamsjunction :
Happy Happy 31st Birthday!

from smedindy :
[email protected] - if you decide to lock.
from chailife :
Hi - can you send it to me at [email protected]? Thanks!
from jamsjunction :
[email protected] please. Of course you know I have moved mine to http://simplyjamie.wordpress.com
from calthea :
Hey Kat, my e-mail for here is [email protected].
from thecrankyone :
[email protected] I totally understand about wanting to control who reads what. That was one of the more desirable features of my space. I could make some entries public and some more restricted. I wish D*land had more options in that regaard
from cosmicrayola :
[email protected] Hope everything is ok.
from thecrankyone :
I'm so glad you are both okay. ((Hugs)). I can't tell you how many times I've had near misses because of some idiot on a cell phone. I've even almost been run over as a pedestrian or biker because people can't get off the phone for a single minute to pay attention to what they are doing. Hopefully she will be scared straight.
from cosmicrayola :
I am so glad she is ok too. Even though it wasn't your fault, you would have carried that thought to your grave. I hope your luck turns around soon, sweetie. You have had more than your share of caca!
from jamsjunction :
My gosh Kat, you can not catch a break. I just cringed reading your entry. From what I am picturing you were T-boned? I hope you feel better soon, and your crappy luck is over for a long long time. Thank god you were not driving your harley!
from chailife :
What a horrible thing to go through! Just take it easy and don't push yourself. Let those good drugs do their work!
from calthea :
Oh my goodness Kat! I am glad you are ok. I have been in accidents before and know how scary they can be. *hugs*
from kitchenlogic :
Oh my god katress! I'm so glad you're okay! Take care.
from marlen816 :
How scary! Glad you are alright.
from kitchenlogic :
I hope you're okay and I wish you the best. Moms can be such a pain in the rear. (shhh! told anyone we know that I said that) They can be terrible buddinsky's and their delivery could make you kill them. I'm speaking from the perspective of a daughter who didn't talk to her mom for two years after she would have nothing to do with my first husband, therefore me. That was a painful two years. And my mom is certifiably insane. Be thankful that your mom ain't so nuts. Bossy and judgemental (I'm just guessing here & ducking at the same time) but definitely not nuts. If my mom kept an on-line diary, we'd all be wondering where she learned to speak such an interesting made up chinese/farsi/yiddish. At least your mom speaks English!
from jamsjunction :
If you need someone to talk to, I'm always here. I dont think I have you on my myspace though, my email is [email protected]
from alwaysange :
Kat, I'm sorry to hear you're going through a rough time. :( I'd be honored to share your personal entries at MySpace. I think they have my email listed as [email protected] if you want to add me to your list. If not, I understand too. *hugs and prayers* Ange
from kitchenlogic :
You take care. I'll be thinking about you and hoping for the best.
from mahvalicious :
Hey everybody - the chicken wrap was delicious last night. She's got that one down to perfection. Thanks, Lovely Daughter.
from jamsjunction :
YIKES! Bugs are so gross! Hope Dave gets home soon! The heat sucks, it rained here today and made the heat far worse!
from mahvalicious :
That's because you're pretty without any makeup. There's a reason I call you Lovely Daughter!
from jamsjunction :
I just wanted to let you know that I have moved my blog. I am now at http://simplyjamie.wordpress.com . I look forward to seeing you there from now on.
from jamsjunction :
My word, the latina guys dress is so short. A few inches up, and his penis would have popped out. Maybe thats why he kept pulling at it. Looks like a wild time!
from kungfukitten :
Yes, tell mumsie to turn on her notes! I wanted to say "hi" and tell her that many people pay tons of money to swim in mud.
from cosmicrayola :
Mah (I like that nickname for her.) doesn't have anyplace to say hi. So tell her "Hi!" from me!
from nakedbarista :
Kat, she needs to turn on her comments, LOL!
from cosmicrayola :
The pride that comes across in your entry makes me almost want to move to ND!
from jenniam :
me!!!! i want questions!!!
from cosmicrayola :
Wow, it has been a long time and I would LOVE to meet you too! Maybe my next vacation I should hop an Amtrak........
from astralounge :
Thanks for the hugs. And I'd still like to meet you sometime, too. :) It's weird to think we've been reading each other as long as we have. Collectively, we've now gone through me falling in love with Jay, your divorce, you falling in love with Dave, and my losing Jay. That's a whole lot of living.
from calthea :
Mark was in my grade. I can see Matt and Pete being that way. I had a keyboarding class with them. I don't know if Matt and Pete have changed over time, but I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. I am just happy that someone from Moorhead made to the stanley cup.
from guida :
Oh, I hope you get to ride again soon. Or at least con your man into giving you a ride. I know, I know the back seat isn't at all as fun, but at least you have the luxury of looking around more since you don't have to concentrate on the road. Is that something your doc, or physical therapist can even judge. I can just imagine the look on my docs face if I were to ask "So, when can I ride again?"
from cosmicrayola :
All you can do for him right now is love him and be there for him. I wouldn't worry about the house right now. I don't think anyone is going to notice. It will be there when he is better. ((hugs))
from thecrankyone :
I'm so sorry for Dave's loss. Kinda strange how bad things always seems to happen at the same time. I'll be thinking of you.
from jamsjunction :
So sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you. ((HUGS))
from jenniam :
so sorry...hugs to you both (remember, shit comes in threes)
from smedindy :
HUGS!
from calthea :
Hey Kat. I and Holly were also in the downtown area last thursday, but for the film festival. I was being my geeky self and drooling over some of the cars and cycles. We may have passed each other on the street and not known it.
from jamsjunction :
Ohh my gosh, why didnt you beat him over the head with your pretty black brace. How Rude! I hate stupid people.
from kitchenwitch :
Nope... No baby yet! Damn it. I was hoping for today too. It would have been a COOL birthday to have!
from astralounge :
Kat, thank you so, so much for what you said on my page. But also, please don't stop taking your meds if you NEED them. I know how severe nerve pain can be, and in fact my mom had to go back onto a morphine derivative for pain, which was really hard since that's what she'd abused. But she needed it because the pain was so bad. So if you get rid of them, good, but make sure you do it for the right reasons. I would never want you to become addicted, and I'd never want you to use them as a mental escape, but if you need them for physical pain, just keep a close eye on your behaviors and feelings. Good luck, be strong, and know that I care.
from jamsjunction :
Thanks for the birthday wishes! I have lots of cake, and am willing to share. I will even go as far as feeding you a piece if you need me to.
from smedindy :
That just stanks! Keep your chin up, if you can!
from astralounge :
Kat, I'll tell you about it, but I'd rather do it over email. What's your currently active address?
from guida :
Insurance companies never want to pay if they can find legal loop hole not to...which is pretty easy because they're the ones that write the contracts full of them...I had two medical insurance policies when I had my surgeries, and neither of them paid. But the appeals process taught me the details of the loopholes they used, so now I know how to avoid them. It didn't help much at the time, but it sure helps me now. I hope you win!
from jamsjunction :
Hope today and this weekend are better.
from smedindy :
Hang in there, ma'am...
from smedindy :
Thanks for the add! Take care!
from jamsjunction :
That totally sucks! I'm sorry it has come down to you fighting for every penny your entitled to. ((HUGS))
from jenniam :
LOVE the new layout. It's like from MY myspace :)
from jamsjunction :
Ohh Ohh Ohh! I love the polka dots! So spring like.
from nakedbarista :
I noticed it was a bit wonky, but I highlighted the text and could read it just fine. I just thought maybe the server was down on the images or something. Glad you got it fixed though! I love the new template. Very Springy and very fresh! Looks great to me!
from cosmicrayola :
Umm, is it just me, or is your page really messed up? All I am getting is a big black box.
from jamsjunction :
I hope he will change his mind, and start helping you find a new home. Its unfair to make you do all of the leg work, and not atleast put forth any effort to help.
from thecrankyone :
This City (area) is a lot smaller than it looks ain't it. I don't blame you for not writing much about the divorce, it doesn't sound pretty (but than again they rarely are.). One of my biggest fears is that my son will become like his dad, from what you describe T sounds like a self medicating depressed person, who has become what he feared most. Too bad the only person who can help him is himself.
from guida :
Well I'm glad the first surgery went well enough for you to want to do the second one. In my studies on coping with pain, I found this website to be probably one of the most helpful: www.tenresolutions.org It has lots of good tips. Oh yeah, I'm really starting to get into this idea of rewarding myself for my efforts to be active. I don't know why, but I usually feel guilty when I get or do something just for me. I need a good excuse like this to shoo that guilt away, something that can genuinly let me feel 'I deserve this.' I hope it works :)
from jenniam :
don't you love it when things are solidified for you? not that there was any doubt that the divorce was a good thing. makes me wonder where kiki is now....
from nakedbarista :
Well what do you know? He accidentally did something good for you by dating that girl, screwing her over and giving you a new friend! I'd be half tempted to write him a thank you. As for myspace, I'm not actually going to the site anymore but I was http://www.myspace.com/nikkifoofoo. That site makes me crazy!
from crackdmirror :
When you get your account working, just go to the lin kon my page. There will be an "add friend" (or something like that) button there. :)
from crackdmirror :
I sent a friend-request to you on myspace ;)
from kitchenwitch :
Its http://www.myspace.com/kitchenwitchen I think that is right...
from kitchenwitch :
Well... I actually joined Myspace today. I felt kind of weird about it, but there are a bunch of people I went to school with on there, so its actually kind of neat! If you'd like, I'd like to be myspace friends with you... I am not sure how we do that though...
from seekingme :
I haven't really read your entries lately, so I'm out of the loop. But based on your note I'm assuming you broke your arm. So sorry to hear that. I know how depressing being dependant on others is....but I keep looking at it as another "life lesson."
from arrora :
(sigh)... Oh Kat... I wish there was something I could do to help you out. I am sure Dave and your family don't mind helping you out. They love you, and that's what they are for! Please cheer up... I don't like seeing you like this. BTW, do you have an email address for Denise? I have lost touch with her! ((hugs))
from guida :
Next time you go to Physical Therapy start asking people "what are you in for?" It's kind of a prison joke...I promise you'll make some really depressed people laugh. P.S. - I can't beleive someone called your SUV a weapon of mass destruction! I mean maybe if you decided to go around running over people, but seriously, I'm begining to feel that SUV's aren't bad if they match your enviroment, number of children, or work needs...yeah, I think I'll go with that.
from cosmicrayola :
This was the first time I looked at your photos. I don't know why. The flood looks very scary! But I have to admit, I really enjoyed the pics of you and "Kissy face!"
from nakedbarista :
We're at MCAS Beaufort, in SC. Kyle's an air traffic controller. I can never remember the dang number, hahaha. 7 something... : )
from jenniam :
feel better!
from astralounge :
I'm keeping you in my thoughts as you recover! Good luck and best wishes! :)
from marlen816 :
Prayers for a quick recovery!
from jamsjunction :
YIKES! That sounds so terribly painful. Hope your recovery is smooth sailing, and quick!
from thecrankyone :
Hope you feel better soon!! I'll be thinking of you. Take it easy.
from jamsjunction :
This sucks! I'm sorry your having to deal with this, on top of the pain. Hope that soon things are straightened out, and you can get the care & treatment you need.
from janie12975 :
Oh Kat! That is just wrong. It's bad enough to feel broken and like your body is turning on you (who knew it would happen when we are so young still???), but to have to deal with that crap too. (((((Hugs))))) to you. I'm praying your surgery fixes you completely and that this whole mess gets straightened out. You've been through enough. You certainly don't need this too.
from thecrankyone :
ND WF, is suck ass. They have been in the news not to long ago, for thier tight ass, screw over the people ways. You definately need a good lawyer. They are a bunch of penny pinching, bean counting heartless idiots.
from jenniam :
holy crap! sue their asses. ask to speak to her manager. Mother Jumpers!
from cosmicrayola :
What kungfukitten said. Ditto. Get a worker's comp lawyer.
from kungfukitten :
Big Hug! What a rotton day. I think a lawyer would be a great idea. Just make sure you get one who specialized in disability, worker's compensation and the American's with Disabilities Act. Get a full copy of your medical records and all your work paper work copied and organized before you meet with them. You deserve better treatment. You legally deserve better treatment.
from calthea :
Kat, I will keep you in my thoughts, prayers and send good vibes your way. Good luck with everything. *hugs*
from tara10573 :
Good Luck tomorrow. I'll be thinking about you. Update when you can.
from jenniam :
HUGS for tomorrow. If you can't update, make sure SOMEONE does for us...to let us know you are ok!
from coffeegrind :
I hope tomorrow goes well for you. They have you remove your nail polish so they can keep an eye on the color. Has something to do with oxygen getting to your brain. You might want to think about removing the polish!!!
from nakedbarista :
Good luck tomorrow. I'll read one handed entries!! You'll be in my thoughts.
from nakedbarista :
takeme/home : ) You'll always be allowed to read, honey.
from thecrankyone :
That's only because you've never had to live with me. My son could testify to when I really do live up to my screenname. LOL!! I hope the surgery goes well. Where are you having it? I'm off the 20th, so if you are still going to be alone, I may be able to come down for a bit (depending on scheduling), as I don't have a car right now, but am only a drive way away from the bus. Drop me an email.
from calthea :
*hugs* Kat, I am sending good vibes your way. I hope you find a way to releve the stress that is happening right now. I am thinking about you. *hugs*
from guida :
What's wrong with my knees? My goodness it's a long story...suffice it to say, I had surgery on both of them to solve one problem when I was 20, which backfired and left me with another problem as equally as painful. Right now I'm 24 and my knee caps move all around as I bend and straighten my leg. It's thrashing up the soft tissue in the joint, and causes plenty of pain. I'm actually seriously considering getting surgery again. But what exactly is wrong with your elbow? Man, working a clutch is hard enough with a healthy arm. Does your motorcycle have an adjustable clutch? A lot of bikes can have their clutch loosened or at least have the friction zone brought in closer for smaller hands, just by twising a little wheel looking thing at the clutch cable (by the handle bar)...maybe something to think about post-op. Will this be your first experience with surgery? While I've never had my arm worked on I can tell you somethings about it...actually the surgery itself is nothing to worry about - you'll be asleep and won't feel a thing. It's kindof tricky fasting before you go in, and then as a girl they'll make you take a pregnancy test. It's not easy squeezing out some drops, after drinking nothing for the last 12-24 hours. when you wake up, you'll feel disoriented...after one of my surgeries I got sick to my stomach from the anestesia. that's normal, but doesn't happen every time. I just had to get it out too feel better. You're elbow will probably looked rediculously swollen. This is also normal, because the doc will flush out the joint (which is good- some people go in for surgery just to get their joint flushed because for unkown reasons it helps with the pain so much). You'll get plenty of pain killers to get you through any post-op pain...really the only part you need to worry about is doing your physical therapy to regain strength and mobility in your arm when it comes time. That will be your responsibility. good idea wanting to clean before you go in. You might want to prepare some food you can put in the freezer and throw in the microwave too (or have some good take out numbers handy:). Best wishes.
from jenniam :
cranky is fine girl! You deserve it! Feel better. Surgery SUCKS
from capriciously :
yeah, i like the job pretty well. i like traveling, it's fun. zane makes it harder, of course, but i don't like being away from my husband. we've been married for two years and i don't think we've been apart for more than a week ever. ;) so i always go with him to the storms. my brother-in-law is an adjuster down in new orleans, and he has been there 7 months now. his wife and daughter didn't go with him at first, but they moved down there now since it has been so long. it's hard to be away from your family, that's another aspect that makes this job hard. a lot of the adjusters leave their wives at home, and that's tough to do. working the hurricanes last year, we saw a lot of people who lost a lot of personal belongings, and that sucks. but up here working a hail storm, it's really just mostly that they have hail hits on their roof, and that doesn't REALLY hurt anything other than the life-expectancy of the roof, so we're mostly just paying for them to put new roofs on. so it's not really very emotional like in a big hurricane or flood or something where people just lose EVERYTHING. plus, kind of an unfortunate side effect of doing this work, you kind of tend to look at the paperwork and the numbers instead of sitting back and thinking about what people really lost. like, you write out the list of belongings and look up prices on them all, but you don't think of it like, "oh no, the outfit she wore the day she met her husband was ruined by the flood waters!" or something like that, you know? it's just a list like "5 pairs of jeans" that kind of thing. anyway ;) i'd be talking your ears off if you could hear this. so maybe i'm talking your eyes off. sorry ;)
from capriciously :
and i didnt even tell you what we do. my husband is a catastrophe adjuster. when a big storm hits anywhere in the country (hurricane, hail, tornado, ice, etc), there are more claims than your agent can take care of. thousands of them! so they call in catastrophe adjusters to come and hand out checks to insureds so they can get their money in a timely fashion. basically. :) so that's what we do, we chase storms and hand out money.
from capriciously :
haha, no, i don't think your homeowner insurance is high because of catastrophe adjusters. i think homeowner insurance is high because insurance is a rip-off, in general. imagine all the people paying premiums and how many of those people will EVER use any of that money. i think insurance is basically like a savings account, youre putting the money into it so one day you can draw it out (and more) if you need to. some places are way more expensive than others, depending on things like crime rates and natural disasters. the reason catastrophe adjusters get paid is because they're travelling ALL the time, they are away from home, they have to pay their own expenses (gas, mileage, hotels, etc), and they have to have a lot of licensing and training, which also costs a lot of money. the poor staff guys (for instance, your agent) aren't hardly making minimum wage, but they aren't doing nearly as much as cat adjusters. as far as training, we have to be certified in various kinds of estimating programs, and for every company you work for (allstate, state farm, etc), you have to have specific training and certification for. it's a lot of classes, and they each cost a lot of money (and you have to GO to the class location, which are mostly in texas, and pay for all your expenses once there). anyway, yeah, so it sounds like a lot of money compared to working up in an office job environment, but there are a lot more requirements and stuff too. ;)
from jamsjunction :
I'm sorry that surgery is your next step. I hope that you recover quickly. ((HUGS))
from jamsjunction :
Hope you find out some good news at the surgeon. ((HUGS))
from guida :
hey, I know what it's like to be so frustrated from physical imparement (bad knees - I have the same anger/cry reaction when people run by). I also know what it's like to love a good motorcycle ride...did you ever consider a Hondamatic? My brother had one, and I think they still make them. There is absolutley no clutch involved! You'll only use your right arm for steering...No one should loose motorcycle riding over a bum limb. Best Wishes, Guida
from tara10573 :
WOW, what a year you've had. Things can only get better, right? I glad my movie star name, Mabel Stale Peeps gave you a laugh :-)
from cosmicrayola :
I'm glad you make out ok. Wow, what a close call!
from astralounge :
Ahhhh. I get it. :) I thought you were saying that there was something bad about the woman who was planning to build a PP on her property, and if there was any reason to worry about it (e.g., it was a scam or something), I wanted to know. But you were referring to SD's behavior as "not good," not the woman's. That makes a lot more sense! :)
from astralounge :
I saw the note you left on my page. Can you explain further what you meant?
from coffeegrind :
I'm so sorry you're having to go through this right now. My hugs to you!!!
from thecrankyone :
I'll keep my prayers for you. We are lucky in that we are no where near the river, though if the Sheyenne reaches '97 proportions we could be close. So far it seems to be holding its own.
from jamsjunction :
Please keep safe!
from thecrankyone :
Spring in the Red River Valley, the birds are singing, the allergies are sneezing and the rivers/creeks/streams/sloughs/puddles are flooding. Good luck. I hope we don't get any rain anytime soon. We need to dry up a bit before we can handle anymore moisture. I so wish the bloody sun would just come out and play already.
from jamsjunction :
We both drive full size trucks. And we are only two people. Imagine that! But doesnt she realize that she is spewing that shit on the internet, while using her computer that sets off radiation. That cant be good for global warming now can it? Since when is an SUV a WMD? I dont get it. After reading her, I turned every light in the house on and off and on again! LMAO BTW, thanks for the heads up on the marine uniforms.
from thecrankyone :
I love that show. I'm sure they'd have a field day with all my too big, stretched out pants, and 80's jeans. However one of my dieing wishes would be to have Nick A-however you spell it, do my hair. A hollywood hair stylist with a clue, who knew.
from thecrankyone :
I've never been to him, but I'll definately remember that name. I so sorry things are so sucky right now. I'm thinking of you. But sometimes a girl needs to just stop and put herself and her health first. You need to be a priority in your life too. Hope things get better.
from nakedbarista :
I could only wish. There's more development today, and I'm hoping it'll be the last, so stay tuned!! ;D
from calthea :
Oh my Kat. This doctor does sound a lot better than the other one. I hope surgery won't be neccessary for you. I will keep sending good thoughts/vibes your way. I hope your kitty feels better also. *hugs*
from thecrankyone :
(((hugs)) Whatever it is, we will be here for you. Poor Hercky. I remember having to give my cat pills back when I was in college. Not fun..
from janie12975 :
Aww, Kat, I know exactly how you feel. Even though are medical problems are different, I just want to scream that my body shouldn't be falling apart at 30. I'm still young. (((hugs))) to you.
from cosmicrayola :
I'll be waiting for your doctor update. I hope it's not too bad.
from nakedbarista :
We just dealt with the same thing recently from Maxwell. Stress free my rump!! With those dang pills... Psh.
from thecrankyone :
poor Hercky- hope he is better soon. Hope you get over this flu, being sick sucks esp when it won't go away.
from calthea :
Dear Kat. The test sounds awful, but at least you don't have to surgery. I am keeping you in my thoughts and sending good vibes your way. *hugs*
from thecrankyone :
Hope you are better soon. That definately doesn't sound like fun. Glad you won't have to have surgery anyway.
from cosmicrayola :
I know how bad Lori tod me it was in her hip. I'm so sorry!!! I hope you feel better soon.
from janie12975 :
That's sounds awful! I'm glad Dave was there with you. So what is their next course of action, now that they know there is no nerve damage? (((hugs))) to you
from jenniam :
I had to go through it too when they thought I had sever carpal tunnel. It sucked. I was alone and I cried and the dr. asked me why. Asshat. Anyway, glad there is no nerve damage!
from cosmicrayola :
Sorry I didn't do the autograph thingy. I have just been so busy. But hope your doctor visit went well. After what my daughter went through with her tests the other day, the words needles and nerves make me cringe. Hope it wasn't too bad.
from vanillakitty :
Sis! hope all goes well at the doc's. give me a call! Love ya
from jenniam :
GOOD LUCK BABE!
from thecrankyone :
Hope you feel better soon. The flu really sucks big stinky ones. I'll cyber you some tea and chicken soup.
from jamsjunction :
Get well soon!!
from thecrankyone :
I love Miami Ink. Kat is the coolest. But I'm not sure what 5 people I would pick.
from thecrankyone :
You already know where I live hehe!! But if I were to consider moving, the only city I've considered outside of ND, was oddly Indianapolis. I've only spent a week there, but I totally fell in love with the city. A great mixture of Midwest nice meets Southern Hospitality. And from what I saw prices (in stores), were about the same as here. Though I have no idea about housing etc..
from simplymandy :
I live in Austin... lol. Not sure if there's one here. But it's the best city in Texas. Now Denver... Denver is nice. Ryan and I considered moving to Denver at one time. We loved it there when we vacationed.
from janie12975 :
$400-600k? Woo, that is a lot of money. We live in the DC area and I really like it. Close enough to everything, but far enough away too. I love being able to just drive into DC on the weekends and wander the museums and stuff. Plus, I'm not too far from NYC, Baltimore, the ocean. Yup, I love it here. Steve makes just over $100k and we live pretty comfortably, so I think you and Dave would be REALLY comfortable out here!
from janie12975 :
Happy Tuesday guestbook signing! And congrats to Dave! Steve needs to recertify for all his Cisco stuff. Good money having that certification and clearance and all. Woohoo! Hope that check comes in today too! Then your day will be made, eh?
from seekingme :
Thanks for the note. It actually does make me feel better that there is a good reason behind the bounced check fees! :)
from astralounge :
I was meaning to post yesterday and didn't get to, but you're in my thoughts. I'm so sorry about your recent arm and elbow pain. :( I hope your recovery goes as smoothly as possible, even though it hasn't been so far...! HUGS!
from calthea :
*hugs* Oh, Kat. I hope everything will get better soon. Some doctors don't like to admit that they were wrong and then turn into jerks to cover their mistakes. If you ever need someone to vent to, e-mail me or leave a note. *hugs*
from thecrankyone :
(((hugs))) If they're anything like ND Workman's comp, I can understand your frustation. I had to deal with them a number of years ago, when angry slicer tried to attack my hand. I'll be thinking of you today, hope your test is okay.
from simplymandy :
Hey!! Yup, I'm working on combining ALL of my diaries, and it is such a LONG process :). But eventually, I'm gonna get back to updating here. Till I get caught up with the older stuff, I'm gonna still update my myspace blog. TTYL!
from astralounge :
Sounds a lot like how I met Jay. Yay for the Internet, and yay for love! :)
from cosmicrayola :
Well, maybe it's telling you that you should open a pharmacy, lol.
from janie12975 :
LOL, yeah, I'd say that had something to do with you taking so many pills. Hope you are feeling better today.
from cingi :
Hope you feel better soon! And good luck on the door handle.
from cosmicrayola :
I'm not a doctor, but I play one on Diaryland. My advise to you is that if you get bored with nothing to do, you can make yourself useful. Have Dave put the elbow braces on you, stick you in a corner and use you for a coat rack. Are you laughing? Well, I was just testing your "funny bone".
from thecrankyone :
Hope the therapy helps. It sounds painful. I have never had the therapy you describe, but I have had to wear a wrist brace, and it was quite intersting to say the least. Typing was a comedy of errors
from thecrankyone :
http://www.haloscan.com/help/InstallonDiaryland should help you out. It worked for me.
from jenniam :
go to the place to install and scroll all the way down. It has "additional ways to install" and click diaryland. It has it's seperate code!
from janie12975 :
Oh crap! I'm a day late again on the whole guestbook signing. Heh. Ooops! Have a happy Wednesday!
from jamsjunction :
Happy Happy Tuesday! Hope you have a great rest of the week!
from jenniam :
How about going to the place I used for the new Diet layout: http://dietingjenn.diaryland.com
from coffeegrind :
Happy Tuesday Guestbook Signing Day!!!!!!
from jenniam :
No worries - I think it's like $.14 a photo on snapfish. I used the "cut them down and don't crop the digital" but now they are smaller than 4x6 -- just a warning if you plan to frame any!
from cosmicrayola :
You blew my mind! I thought Your diary was messed up. Who in the heck has a Christmas party the last week in January??? Anyway, if you haven't read it, read Angela's Ashes. If you like it, read Tis, it's the sequel.
from jenniam :
Pain is NEVER ok. Damn doctors. Get well (have you read "Life of Pi" "She's Come Undone" "Geisha Girl"?)
from jamsjunction :
No unfortunately, Lazyboy didnt have anything we liked. What we bought is made by Simmons. We love it. Its so comfy.
from thecrankyone :
Hope the gel pads help. In the past when my wrists really acted up, I had this ugly brace thing that looks like I broke my arm or something. It made typing even harder, but it did help it feel better.
from janie12975 :
Ok, I know I'm a day late, but notes are always good, right? Mouse turds in the air popper? I think I'll stick to microwave popcorn from now on!
from nakedbarista :
...and Happy Tuesday. : )
from nakedbarista :
I'm sorry about your hand, sweetie! I just recently finished reading the entire Harry Potter set, but I'd also recommend The Mermaid Chair by Sue Monk Kidd (I think that's her name, anyway)
from cosmicrayola :
Sounds really painful. Hope the therapy helps and you mend quickly.
from jenniam :
I heart you!
from jenniam :
radiator hose what??? I know nothing about my car. And that sucks. I usually just go to the Mobile down the block. Should I ask them to change the oil, and check the coolant and the thermostat because I think I am low or that it's stuck? Does that sound like I know what I am talking about so they don't take me for a ride?
from thedetails :
Yikes, that sounds terrible. Hope you feel better soon.
from thecrankyone :
((hugs)) I have issues with tendonitis in my wrists, though fortunately it isn't too bad, unless I type on the 'puter too long. I've found anti-inflamatories and ice will also do wonders in addition to the pain killer. The big thing though is getting your work to fix your desk and such, which could be a pain. Though if I am not mistaken legally they have to make reasonable adaptations, like a better keyboard and reasonable desk height, same as they have to provide wheel chair access etc.. Good luck. (oh and MSM can help with both healing and inflamation to a good extent, it is also great for hair, nails and joints).
from cosmicrayola :
Happy Guestbook/notes/comment signing Day! As usual, I'm a day late and a dollar short!
from arrora :
Okay, it's actually really simple. Being sealed is when a husband and a wife are bound together for time and all eternity. Instead of "till death do you part", it's for "time and all of eternity" meaning that death cannot separate the holy bond of marriage. And, a husband and a wife who are sealed together, are also sealed to any children they may have so long as they are sealed together before they have their children. (like Michael and I) So, I can be sealed to my parents, they just need to join my church, and go to the temple with me. It's a beautiful ceremony. We all wear white, and go into the sealing room in the temple, and its a beautiful ceremony kind of like a wedding. Someone speaks a little, and then declares you a family that it sealed together for all of eternity. I hope this makes sense! And I agree.. I am not myself on myspace, as a lot of people read it, and I don't want to incriminate myself ;-)
from nakedbarista :
Yay! Happy Tuesday Guestbook Signing Extravaganza!! I had a boss pull that crap on me once. I told him I needed the day off for my BRIDAL SHOWER and he said "I think you need to think about your priorities".
from jellehbelleh :
Oh come on, the Cave was a "GREAT" film...actually, I'm totally kidding. The monsters looked liked they were trying hard (and failing misrebly) to look like the Pitch Black monsters. I'm a huge horror movie buff, by the way. You should check out Hostel, it wasn't SCARY as much as it was gory, but definately worth seeing.
from nakedbarista :
aww, I would have thought for sure you'd know that I was coming!! I just finished tagging you, so that's not the same as lurking! : D However, I have been thinking about reinstating "Happy Tuesday Guestbook Signing day". Do you remember that from way back in the day (gosh, that was years ago!)? Every Tuesday you leave a note somehow for every person on your buddy list. If EVERYONE did that, you'd look forward to lots of "Happy Tuesday" tidings! Hm... I think I will start that back up tomorrow!!
from jenne1017 :
Happy De-Lurking Week ;) Pass on the love!
from takhomasak :
Yes, we broke up but it was more than mutual. The new address? I'll email it to you, don't worry. Just needed a few days to unwind.
from cosmicrayola :
Sounds like heaven!! Glad you're back though. No, I didn't file the claim with my back. Wallmart assures me I will have the money back within 8 business days. That is Tuesday. I'll give them a chance. It wasn't their fault. It was UPS. By Tuesday, I'll decide what to do if it hasn't come through. Thaks for the input though.
from jamsjunction :
May health, happiness, and good times greet you & your family everyday of 2006! Happy New Year!
from jamsjunction :
Merry Merry Christmas to you & your family!
from thecrankyone :
Have a great trip. Bring back some sand and sun for those of us stuck here in the Arctic. Hope you guys have a great time
from calthea :
Have a very Merry Christmas and a great time in Mexico!
from nakedbarista :
I absolutely despise the parents of children like that. It's easy to pin down the blame on the children, as they were the offenders, but you've got it right that they behaved in the way they were lead to believe was appropriate. The blame is definitely on the parents.
from saved0803 :
Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones!
from thecrankyone :
I made 'em, but you never showed up.. Musta been the snow.. They were quite good, but a little too sweet if you ask me. Any sweeter and I'd have to serve them with a side of insulin. Very lemony though.
from jenniam :
and I love you because even though you are totally straight, you are cute enough to make me vomit. Did that make sense? You've got a great writing style too and I am glad you update more!
from nakedbarista :
Were you looking for me?? *wink*
from thecrankyone :
Glad to hear you are okay and warm. Our power flickered a few times but managed to stay warm. However we did have to shovel our way out of the house on Tues day morning, and our sidewalk was basically under glass. Hope your regular power is back online soon. I've had enough winter already. I want spring.
from jamsjunction :
Keep warm, and safe!
from vanillakitty :
Hey woman I just tried calling ya & your voicemail didn't even pick up??? I'll call you later or give me a call when you get a chance. Love ya!!!
from vanillakitty :
Happy Birthday to you!!!!!! Sis! I love ya! Bri' says happy Birth day Nanny-Kat!! and Corbin says, ippe-irtday (hasn't quite figured out the whole phrase, lol)
from calthea :
Happy Birthday! I hope you have a wonderful day.
from thecrankyone :
Happy big 3-0!! Hope you have a great birthday!!
from lauracv :
Hope you have a very happy birthday.
from arrora :
Happy Birthday. Kat, I am so happy for you and Dave. I really am. I am so glad you are happy and in love. I was so worried about you for so long. It's weird how we have never met, but I still care about ya. Hope you have fun doing darts and drinks! (((hugs)))
from thecrankyone :
ah yes, the home of the psychotic bag boys, I haven't been to them in ages. Most of their food is good, if the employees would just stay off of the cough syrup LOL!!
from jamsjunction :
I saw that you added me to your buddy list, and came to check you out. You might try www.photobucket.com, www.imageshack.us, and www.glowfoto.com for free image hosting..those are the ones I have used for a long time. Have a good weekend!
from thecrankyone :
spike heeled boots and capris? Woah is right.. I hate it when I get customers at work who think somehow the rules only apply to the rest of the world not them. I can't tell you how many want special favors because it is our fault they can't read.
from crackdmirror :
The first thing was smoke...the second was my ex (ugh, I know). Item number three...well, if it happens I'll let you know.
from vanillakitty :
hey woman, it's about that time for the christmas layout to come out of the dusty closet. I'm going to save the html as is, and try changing colors and the pic, if it doesn't work then I can put my pink chaos back. Anyways. Love ya. You have to send pics of your costumes!!!!!
from vanillakitty :
FYI- I LOVE LOVE LOVE that link!!! It's so true, Could you imagine the crying game that would go on if a natural disaster hit D.C..... it would be so sickening, with all the welfare people on the southside, that of course are not jobless by thier fault at all :/ or on welfare because they absolutly need it. I've noticed around here, the majority mexican families, won't go find a better job cuz it would disqualify the from WIC, free medical insurance, food stamps. Come on now, get off your arss. Wow, did I go off on a tangent or what, lol. Love ya! Sorry I missed you call last night, I was passed out from my drugs. Time to go change the kitty litter, Sampson and shit that matches our pup from Quantico, Hercules. Remember that, lol, we'd have to clear the house when he'd shit outside. ICK! Love ya!
from thecrankyone :
I've noticed a similiar thing in some of the stores at the mall, esp clothing stores when I am dressed nice and look like I have money they trip over themselves to help me, but if I am having casual or grubby dress day they practically ignore me. Last time I checked my money was as good as anyone else's. I've noticed genre and specialty shops (ie comic book, motorcycle dealers etc..) aren't this way at all, they treat everybody cool.
from jellehbelleh :
You know, you are probably the only one that's ever written me a note about an entry that I considered worth reading. I appreciate that and I agree with your comment. Thanks!
from arrora :
Kat, you look SO pretty! You have lost a lot of weight. More pictures!
from astralounge :
Actually when I did it, it showed me that George Bush is a failure. Googlebombing strikes again, and apparently Bush and Moore are neck-and-neck. Heh.
from taken-by-you :
Ha ha ha... that's not a stupid question. He works with one of my best friends, and she said that she'd picked him apart for hours and thinks that we'd be great together, so we've been emailing (since we are deployed to different countries) back and forth. That's the Reader's Digest version, thus far. :)
from dbfeb :
Ok, I'm not sure why I thought he'd have dark hair? You guys look very cute together and you look very, very happy. I think you got a keeper.
from vanillakitty :
Hey woman, you left out the pic of the finished deck...... ahhhhemmm. You know you & Dave make such a cute couple. love ya!
from jellehbelleh :
man, my insomnia, you and your man's surgeries...we sound like a party at the retirement home. Where's the punch n pie?! We can should from the porch "GET OFF MY LAWN" while sipping some lemonade.
from cosmicrayola :
God, I am such a Poophead!! I've been so busy I didn't even know about your surgery til today! I am soo sorry. I would have sent tons of well wishes. Hope you feel better soon.
from jellehbelleh :
Good luck with your surgery sweetie! *Giant Hugs*
from vanillakitty :
Woman how's you're leg??? Call me sometime this weekend, I'llbe at work but I always have time for you!!! Love ya!
from thecrankyone :
Good luck with the surgery, I hope it all goes well for you. I will be thinking of you tommorrow. ((hugs)). I'm pretty sure the wraping will take in to account female anotomy needs for using the bathroom.
from calthea :
Dear kat, *Hugs* I will be thinking about you during this time. I hope everything will go well. *hugs*
from thecrankyone :
geez!! even Sw@s0n, would give time off for that. You wouldn't get paid, but it's time off. That's just stupid. I'm sorry you work for such a selfish company. That's just wrong. I mean its not like you just srung it on them the day before or something.. ((hugs)) hope it goes well for you..
from jellehbelleh :
I actually got fitted for a bra the other day and found out I'm a friggin' half size! I have a barrel for a chest and big ol' boobs so it's hard to shop for me. Not to mention if I buy the bras with padding, I look like a football player!
from thecrankyone :
Lane Bryant in West Acres has some really nice bras, though they tend to cater to plus sizes, they are the only place I've found with good comfortable bras that are pretty and fit my 42DD, and don't look like some sort of institutional contraption. That reminds me I have another one of thier coupons to use up.
from vanillakitty :
WHAT!!! You're bursting my festive christmas bubble!!! You can't do that to me! I'll be heartbroken. I'll fall into a deep depression, hide in my room. Hang halloween decorations instead of christmas stuuf on my house. I'll start drinking excessivly, dabble in drugs. You're starting a chain reaction into dark unknown waters. You wouldn't want to do that to me, would you. heheheeee Talk with you later! Love ya Sis!
from jenniam :
very sweet!
from cosmicrayola :
Aww, that was so sweet! And you are right. Quick passionate love rarely stands the test of time. Slow growing is the way to go.
from vanillakitty :
WOMAN! You went and had your nails done?? Didn't I teach you anything! Don't make me come up there and beat you're ass then do your nails!! heheheee. I hope they don't plan your surgery for when you're supposed to be coming down!!! I would be one very pissy kitty! Is is going to be full-out surgery or some sort of lazor stuff?? Well, love ya!
from arrora :
Kat, I looked HORRIBLE! I mean, I can't put it into words. Haha. I am SO glad to be brunette again. Hey, you need to post some pics!(((hugs)))
from jellehbelleh :
Belive it or not, this foul-mouthed, english speaking pirate is from Jalisco, Mexico. Yeah, I'm the whitest mexican I know too!
from thecrankyone :
OUCH!! Glad to hear they are both okay. What a painful way to spend the weekend. Hope things keep getting better for you, too bad your ex is acting like an overgrown teenager (I'm way too familiar with the type )- Peter Pan is not a fun person after awhile.
from jellehbelleh :
Hmm...this is the first time I've ever miandered through your diary, little miss! Sounds like your ex still likes to try to get under your skin. People like that you just have to look at with humor and see them a little kids throwing a big temper tantrum. Somebody oughta stick his ass in the corner!
from thecrankyone :
Hope your leg is better soon. Ouch.. poor dog must have really hit you.. hope the dog is fine.
from thecrankyone :
Han would have only been about 8 or 9 at that time, whereas Wookies live much longer (Chewie is about 200 years old at the time of ANH (aka the first SW movie). Han saves Chewie from imperial slavery lateras an adult and that is when Chewie swears his Oath to Han and they become partners. At the time of ROTS, Han was a young child working for a Fagen type character.
from calthea :
To answer the Chewie question: Chewie was captured and enslaved. Han was in the Imperial Navy and stopped a fellow imperial from killing Chewie. Han was kicked out of the Navy and Chewie escaped. The duo was born. :-) (I am such a geek.)
from cosmicrayola :
I have used bill pay for the past 6 years. I love it. No stamps. I also use my debit card for everything so I hardly use my checks at all either. I do occaionally laugh at myself when wanting something at a store that only takes cash. Cash? What's that???
from calthea :
I love the little hint! *laughs* I still like my job. I know of a lot of people who have left. Give me another year. :-)
from dvlshkitten :
Homer, That was such a sweet and sad story. I can't imagine how scared you were. I don't know what I would do if my kitties every disappeared like that. I'm glad you're safe and sound and back in the warmth of your family.
from pfratz :
Katress, Katress, wow so long and so much has happened! I am glad that you are happy now! It's Mir! Are you looking for something new (job wise) or are you going to stay at home? Hope all is well.
from dbfeb :
Glad the quitting went well but I hate you have to clean the dressers because that's the worse job in the world.
from jenne1017 :
yay for happiness!
from thecrankyone :
http://www.in-forum.com/articles/index.cfm?id=88699§ion=News he made The front page. Good luck on the new job, I know what it's like when you hate your job..I'm glad you found a better one!!
from mandyshelton :
Hooray!!!
from bettyalready :
hey I hate asking this. it's doubtful, but do you still have the code for the babar template? I saved it on my friends computer and she took it!!!

from mandyshelton :
Awww - you're so in love it's cute! I'm wearing a t-shirt today, while others who are worse than I am about the cold are wearing gloves and scarfs. We go crazy when there's cold weather.
from thecrankyone :
Zikes... good thing you didn't stay with him, or he would have probably tried to rip you off too. What a small world, I read that in yesterday's paper.. I hope they are able to get him on something and throw the book away... Hope all is well with you.. I'm home with a sick boy and not feeling so hot myself.
from vanillakitty :
OMG!! was Mcmasters, this "klingy" guy that wanted to hold your hald all through dinner & brought you flowers .... on the 1st date? Remember?? you called me when you were leaving dinner saying he was creeping you out. lol. But youi have Dave now, so all is well in Nanny-Kat Land!!!

from arrora :
Kat! I was so happy to see you signed my GB! I am even happier to see that you are finally smiling and feeling the great blessing of love in your life. I knew it was only a matter of time until your prince came to get you. Please do keep in touch. I am just so happy for you! I prayed a lot for you during your hard times. I am glad to see The Lord answered them. ((hugs))

I'm so happy that you are happy. Good thoughts are coming your way.
from bettyalready :
That is probably the wierdest thing I have ever had happen in a notes section. What the?
from bettyalready :

Been through the divorce thing and it's such a *LIGHTBULB* moment when you realize what you've put up with and that you can and should be happy and not go through life miserable. I'm glad you left me a note, I was checking in from time to time to see if you were unlocked and I sent you an email you probably didn't get. WOW! I can see why you locked up!!! from cosmicrayola :
I am so sorry to see everything you've been through. I will say a prayer for you to get through this.
from cleanstart :
Hey Kat, sorry things are not going well for you. HUGS and PRAYERS for your home. May I have your user/pw? [email protected]

Yes, I got your e-mail. Thanks! I am trying to catch up!!
from cosmicrayola :
I hope you are doing well. I'm beginning to fell like a stalker. I hope you send your password soon. [email protected]
from catsmeow1224 :
I am so happy for you I can't see straight.
from thecrankyone :
(((hugs))) I will send some prayers and positive vibes your way, it sounds like you need the positive energy. What time were you at the job fair, we went right away at ten, and stayed until around 11 or 12 or so. I got my resume in the door with several insurance companies, along with Goldmark and a few other places I can't think of. Trouble is the job I think I would like the most is in Alexandria a bit to far of a commute and I'm not sure I want to live there. Oh well, no sense counting chickens before they leave the eggs. If we had known you were going to be there, we could have gone to lunch together or something, K* and I were talking about that same thing at lunch, too bad we missed each other.
from catsmeow1224 :
I think you are a beautiful person. Your strength and clarity are admirable.
from lauracv :
Left a message in gbook but I don't think it went through. Try to relax and take things slow. You can't force this. The more you try the more it seems like hubby backs away. Keep working on yourself. And take time to think about what you want. In the begining it may seem like being tested everyday is the way to go. But in the end you may resent walking on eggshells and decide you want something more. Be sure and take care of yourself. Some of the worst mistakes I have ever made came after sleepless nights. Things may not turn out the way you planned but you will get through this.
from lauracv :
Man am I a day late and a dollar short or what? Just about the time I catch up with you at your other local you move back to dland and lock. Hope things are getting better. If you are giving out the password my email is [email protected]
from catsmeow1224 :
I hope things are going well for you. Since you've locked, I assume they aren't. I'm very sorry, Kat. Whatever it is, hang in there.
from purplemama :
Would it be possible to get your password?
from cosmicrayola :
I am so upset! I lost your password again!!
from nonce :
whoops....my account at hotmail went inactive...but it's up again... [email protected]... I'd like a password pu-lease...

I was sorry to see that you're locked. I really miss reading your entries.
from calthea :
I am praying for you and your family. *hugs*
from nonce :

from trulypoetic :

from trulypoetic :

from lauracv :
Let me know where you end up. I haven't been able to leave guestbook messages here for awhile. Sorry.
from cosmicrayola :
I would liketo know where you are going too, please. As far as the money, I am incredibly boring. I would put it on bills.
from calthea :
To echo thecrankyone, I will miss you on D*land also. Could you please tell me where you are moving to? I love your insights and love reading you. *hugs*
from thecrankyone :
I'll miss reading you on D*land, but I'd love to know where you are moving too. I have a pretty good idea, but I don't know what your name is, or are you keeping the same name.
from kitchenwitch :
I tried to sign your guestbook, but this computer won't let me... sigh... anyway, my favorite books are: The Princess Bride, anything by Dean Koontz (especially Watchers, which was the first I ever read of his) the Shannara books by Terry Brooks, and Night of the Solstice and Heart of Valor by L.J.Smith...
from wifemotherme :
Hi! Just wanted you to know I surfed on and poked around your diary awhile today. Very nice visit! I was on topamax for about a year. I did lose some weight with it. The side effects (memory loss and pins and needles in my hands and feet) got to be a bit to much for me. I do think that out of all the meds I was ever on topamax had the lest side effects.
from cosmicrayola :
scuttlebutt or something
from machogirl7 :
You're a scuzzlebutt. ;)
from cosmicrayola :
Where are you?? You have been gone 11 days and I am suffering withdrawal!
from dreamerfishb :
Merry Christmas , babe....
from boxx9000 :
WOW! That's some *shiner*. My son (at age 1) headbutted me and broke my nose, it gave me a balck eye?
from twisted-mind :
I love your current layout. Your newest family member is beautiful.
from supermommy :
Check out the "Me" link on my diary. Thought you'd want to know ;). Happy Holidays!
from supermommy :
I know exactly what you mean. I'm considering a complete switch to Scribble Journal. I mean, I can have private entries there without locking my whole diary. Which I know I can here too, but I've already written so much, it'd be hard to find all of it. I wasn't going to switch ever from supermommy, because it fit me so nicely. But it could be that mandy fits me better. Only time will tell. I'll decide by New Years Eve, I'm sure.
from dreamerfishb :
Katres! You rock! Thanks for making my dairy more beautiful. You are very talented. Can I be you? h
from goldylockz22 :
nice diary...you got me with your banner...take care...
from texyinhawaii :
I know, it makes me sad when I think of how quickly time is passing. My baby girl isn't a baby anymore :(. But she's just as wonderful, if not more.
from cutielatina :
I am glad that you are ok,and I hope they catch those punks! *hug*
from cosmicrayola :
Thank God it wasn't your windshield! I hope those little aswipes parents are made to pay for your repairs! Oh, and I love the new look!
from kitchenlogic :
That's terrible! I'm glad it hit the back of your vehicle and not the front! Also...nice looking diary!!! I was just out celebrating snow a minute ago (and my feet are soaked!)
from machogirl7 :
I LOVE the new design. I'm glad nothing happened to you. Damn little assholes.

from catsmeow1224 :

from treewillow :
Happy Belated Birthday. I hope Calvin comes home soon, or that Calvin has already returned. I love how when you go to click on the notes link, the word notes reverses. If you don't mind me asking, how did you do that?
from mkboog :
Happy Birthday!
from seenuh :
happiest birthday wishes to you!
from cutielatina :
hey, I turned 27 a month ago. I'm not old, am I? LOL Happy birthday. It's my nephew's birthday on Sunday..:) And I will pray for the return of your pet. My brother's cat was missing for 2 months. Hon, I am so, so sorry about Calvin. My dog is truly a part of my family, so I can't imagine what it would be like to lose him. You all are in my thoughts - hang in there!
from bettyalready :
Poor Zeus. I would never feed a dog batteries! I know you know that. The remark was toward my friend who wigged out when he thought I was trying to feed his dog a crouton.
from rosarybeads :
10/30: :) Thanks Kat. You always give good guestbook. Ha! We're still squishy over each other - which is weird and wonderful in equal parts. Dude, I lost your number. Again. I know, I know.... lol xoxo
from rosarybeads :
10/29: HA. I WISH I was a D cup. I'm getting a referral to a surgeon on the 8th because I'm too top-heavy (32DDD) and it's time for a reduction. I didn't even lactate for Pete's sake! I don't care if it takes two surgeries, I'm going down to a 32B. Dammit. xoxo
from jadedlife :
Hey, Long time since Ive heard/read yah. But I added you to my buddylist. I have a new diary now. Come check it out. Glad to hear you got a new job? I know last I had read/talked to you things were bad in job land and you were hunting for a new one. Anywho- talk to ya soon. Tiff aka youngblood20
from rosarybeads :
10/27: Thanks Kat. All my male friends back home are either paramedics or firefighters. Bran' has been a firefighter for five years now, so he's pretty seasoned with these kinds of soCal fires. The thing is, late October is such a WEIRD time for it to be happening. Fire season is during late July - August, not NOW. And damn that motherfucker of an arsonist who started all those fires. xoxo
from supermommy :
10/27/03: I have a whole list of cheater codes if you want me to email them to you. Just let me know which address you would prefer. It's honestly kinda like, "How the hec do I do this?" at first, and then it's so easy you want to laugh. *Hugs* [ 6 days till Texas... :) ]
from iluvjessee :
Oh by the way, I like the new layout!!
from iluvjessee :
Hiya! Oooo not good about the jaw! My jaw tends to pop when I open it wide sometimes. I totally understand about not wanting to have your jaw wired shut. It all sounds icky! Ooo..I wish you the best, girl! God bless you.
from rosarybeads :
10/20: We're going with a Tuscany feel downstairs, since the floor plan flows openly. So think... Tuscany. LOL xoxo
from cosmicrayola :
I remember years ago, a friend of my brother had TMJ syndrome. It caused her a lot of pain. I hope they can fix it with exercises. Poor baby.
from rosarybeads :
10/19: I really hope that you don't have to get surgery! xoxo
from rosarybeads :
10/13: Greg orders most of his pc-building "stuff" from NewEgg. He built the girls a pc just a couple weeks ago, right after he got his big new monitor (it's as big as the television in our bedroom!). It was great at first, but now they have BRAWLS over it. LOL xoxo
from kitchenwitch :
I locked my diary. Email me if you want the password. Love ya! Hopefully this will be temporary!
from rosarybeads :
10/10: Yay - a fellow oenophile! I'm so excited that you're making wine, you just don't know! I'm glad that you're finding a niche in your new position, and that you're not having to deal with uneccessary crap at work anymore. Wonderful. :) Enjoy your weekend - and hey - Phone Time mama! I think I have your # lying around on a sticky note somewhere... (what isn't on a sticky note in this condo, eh?) xoxo
from saved0803 :
I couldn't sign your guest book. I just wanted to let you know that I can't wait to read about how your new position is going. Please write soon! Have a great weekend! ;O)
from flyinby :
I love your templates! :)

10/07: I am SOOOO happy for you! YEAH! *slaps high five* 'Bout damn time you got recognition for your skills! xoxo
from cosmicrayola :
Arrrgggghhh! Guestbook! Anyway! Yay you!!! Congratulations!! I am so happy for you. Now you can relax and breath a little.
from cleanstart :
I'm still reading too. I was wondering how much you charged for a afghan? I was thinking of getting one for each of my children now that it's getting cold here. They love laying around on the cold weekends watching some TV, with there own blankets. LOL..
from jennamhughes :
I still read! lol. I've just never been really good about guest book lovin'. You should post pics, I'd love to see them. I'm working on an afghan for my parents for xmas right now, plus a potpurri witch, and soon Santa and Mrs Claus dolls my mother fell in love with. Eeeee! lol
from rosarybeads :
09/26: We decided a few hours after Alexander was born that we're going for 4 now. We already have names picked out. LOL (Well, we already had the girl name picked out, but if it's a boy we're going to name him Matthew) :) xoxo
from cleanstart :
I LOVE this new layout Kat!
from supermommy :
09/25/03 LOVE IT! :) You are so good.
from rosarybeads :
09/25: I like the font you used on this layout. What's it called? xoxo
from cleanstart :
I hope you received good news about the promotion today! *fingers crossed*
from catsmeow1224 :
OH! I would be honored to have you make a baby blanket! We don't have nursery info yet, but if you're wanting to make it soon, shades of green will be fine. That way, it's gender neutral! You are such a gem!
from rosarybeads :
09/17: Hey, if you're up for making one more afghan, I'm your girl. Actually, if you're up for making two more. I found this beeeautiful white and blue yarn that would make a great christening blanket and I want to give a blanket to Heather as part of her baby shower gift. Lemme know if you're up for it. :) Love ya! xoxo
from thecrankyone :
I thought you would find this a great laugh... http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/news/archive/2003/07/23/state1725EDT0152.DTL I don't know if notes will take html or not, so I just pasted the link in...
from astralounge :
Hey Kat. I just wanted to thank you for the kind words about our kitty. I haven't had a chance since everything's been pretty crazy, but I did appreciate it. *hugs*
from rosarybeads :
09/05:You are so sweet, Kat. I think donating blankets to NICU (or hey, you could donate them to new military moms - they had people who did that in San Diego) is a wonderful idea. I wish I could knit like you! Of course... Alex would be wearing nothing but knit... LOL xoxo
from rosarybeads :
08/28: LOL You are too funny. xoxo
from thecrankyone :
(((Hugs)))I'm soo sorry about your friend. One of the hard parts of suicide is that those left behind, may never understand. Take care...if you need a friend...I'm here...(((hugs)))
from jme-reviews :
Hi I just started a new review site named jme-reviews. If you would like to have your diary reviewed please check out my site! Thank you ! -jamie-
from rosarybeads :
08/22: ARRRRGGGHHHH Kat! I had a visit w/ the midwife today and she's not going to assist the labor (w/ pictocin) until September 2nd! I could've slapped her. Maybe Alex will sense my growing frustration and just come on out. You're welcome, btw! :) And yes, pictures. My sister took a really good one of me and Greg when she was here, so you get to see a pregnant Mollie. LOL xoxo
from krazykrispie :
You're page is beautiful! How did you get pictures and the writing on there like that? Great survey, too!
from rosarybeads :
08/19: You should have something in the mailbox this week - and you didn't even have to redesign my diary. :) 100 degrees sounds good - but not with the humidity. Guh. Humidity blows. xoxo
from iluvjessee :

Sweetie, you are not wrong in requesting something for all your efforts in a web design. You put a lot of time and effort into every design. I still love mine and am not going to change it anytime soon. It fits my personality and interests so well.
from iluvjessee :

from iluvjessee :
hey! oh yeah, im totally a Rugged Wearhouse shopper! I might have been to one of the ones you mentioned from D.C. I live here in VA, but I went on a trip with my fiancee to Bristow and Manasses and we also went to D.C. I think it might have been Manasses where we were, but maybe it was Bristow where we visited a Rugged. Its real close to D.C. though, I think.
from iluvjessee :
Hi! Kewl shoes!! I like em! What brand are they? It looked like a Harley Davidson logo on the inside of one of them. Anyway, I havent read much of your diary before. I actually just skimmed through some of yours for today, but I wanted to leave you a note. :) Please feel free to leave me any message. I may be checking more of your diary out. :-D God bless you!

08/09: I got certified when I was 17. I miss diving. I don't think there's anywhere I'd *want* to dive out on the east coast, save the Florida Keys. Mexico is/was awesome. Greg and I are going to go on a dive in Kaupalua, so I'm excited about that. Oh, but the barrier reef? If you go without me, I'm kickin' yer ass. LOL xoxo
from klcranford17 :
I'm gonna guess #5. :O) There's other ways of finding out your natural hair color. LOL..
from thecrankyone :
salt water gargle and a doc visit. Strep is going around. Warren was sick for two days with it a couple weeks ago. Untreated it can lead to some nasty consequences. Lots of fluids and rest also help.
from rosarybeads :
07/28: I think a visit to the doc is in order, missy. Drink some hot tea. xoxo
from rosarybeads :
07/27: SMG is weirding out for me too. I DID send you the password, ya monkeybutt! Damn AOHell. I'll try to email you again. xoxo

Same thing going on over here with the male unit.... I know how you must feel. xoxo
from thecrankyone :
I know how sucky a pay cut can be. Going from the money I was getting at *** to the slave wages of Vitamin Hell was a major blow. Hang in there. If you are interested I know a major beverage company that is opening a new call center here in Fargo, that is hiring people. No weekends almost no evenings. And its much better than VH. I already have my name in. Good vibes for both of us..
from destinedstar :
I know exactly how it feels to be overwhelmed like that! Its non-stop and crazy! If there is anything a stranger can do to help dont hesitate to ask! -erica

from rosarybeads :
07/08: BWAHAHAHA! Give your dad a big hug, he's got the right idea. You know... almost every grown woman that I've had problems with has been a Jack or an Ass. Coincidence? I think not. ((hugs)) xoxo

If it's any concellation, I don't see the white line. I love your new layout! I'm curious about something, and didn't know where else to go for help. I'd like to make a diary ring for Nikki's and make the letters sparkly. I don't know how to do that, though, and I know you do. Could you send me a bit of an email on how to do it?? I'd really appreciate it. Again, yay on the layout!!

I'd like the password, please!
from catsmeow1224 :
Hey Kat. I coudn't get your guestbook to work. I'd love to have your password, darlin. I'm sorry people are such shits.
from supermommy :
Thank you, thank you. And may I say, that although I feel more confident since reading your sweet message, I'm still scared to pieces. Blame it on too many Jaws movie nights. Love ya, and miss seeing you around. I'm glad to read that you're hanging on though. This ear is here for you ;)
from navydude83 :
Hey, I added a survey page if you want to go ahead and fill it out.
from rosarybeads :
6/12: I tried to sign your GB, but it didn't come up on the page! Argh! The short version is: I know how you feel. Take care of yourself, because that's priority #1 right now. xoxo
from navydude83 :
I need an email with that name send it to [email protected]
from blm-designs :
Thanks Kat, I'm happy to be back doing this and learning even more about designing :)
from tempchallnge :
my apologies; an oversight. I was making sure that all the entrants from last month were linked in the new template, but wasn't working from the faves list. Me bad. I shall amend as soon as poss....
from navydude83 :
Thanks I appreciate it, I am sure will find mine but I'm not going UA. Thanks and TTUL.
from mbarestfrog :
hi, do you like old skool hip hop? could you read my diary entry called "quest for song" ? have you heard this song by any chance? thanks :)
from missprisy :
I read your diary each time you update, but since you started posting private entries, I wonder why I bother visiting. I'm not sure who you want to have the password, but I was wondering if I could have it?
from supermommy :
Can I have that password for your private entries?
from supermommy :
Drama between a close friend and queenpen...uggh, trust me, it's not something I want to stick my nose into. And I'm glad *you* were at my diary yesterday :). I think my stats are messed up.
from rosarybeads :
04/28: I disagree with whoever said to quit. Don't quit your job. If you do, I'm going to waddle my pregnant ass over there specifically to smack you upside the head. We all have to deal with unsavory characters from time to time - this is just a rough spot. Give it time, it'll be okay. ((HUGS)) xoxo
from bbwing :
(4/26)Hi! I decided to go ahead and use the starry layout and make a few minor alterations. If you want to see what it looks like, give me a few days to make it all come together, then come check it out. Thanks for letting me use this layout. I really love the "wish on a star" theme. Love, ~Erin~
from jennamhughes :

from crackdmirror :
OK, your GB won't let me sign :(. Anyways, I don't have the user/pass to the private stuff, but I wanted to say "good luck" anyways. I hope whatever is going on gets fixed!! Work problems suck. :(
from supermommy :
Uggh, let's just ignore all dumbasses. There's so many lately though that it's hard to.
from dandelionkat :
Highschool is a crazy time. It's good to know that yall have maintained friendships since yall have graduated.

from supermommy :
(This is after I signed your design site guestbook... :)) Oh yeah, I have a suggestions for a layout too, lol. One revolving around How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days. That movie was so good. Reese is MINE for next month ;)
from klcranford17 :
OK, I signed your GB but then I received an error message when I hit enter?? SO, here's this is the GB mesasage nevers shows up. LOL...I say,"What are you waiting on?"... when it comes to women and diet, that's always a HUGE hit! I think the site would be a great way of support for those trying to lose a few lbs.! Even women that don't need to lose...we always like new recipes!
from supermommy :
Sounds good Kat! :)
from rosarybeads :
03/11: Nooo... what message? xoxo (I tried to sign your gb and it wouldn't let me! Bah!)
from rosarybeads :
03/07: I emailed you. Then I called, and Todd took a message. I hope you're feeling better. xoxo
from supermommy :
Ok Kat, I love you!
from supermommy :
Hey Kat, I went to get the codes for the layout of Reese (the one that's not with the car) and it says the page doesn't exist. Help me, please ma'am :) Thanks!
from supermommy :
Oh and the reason I didn't just flat out post it in my diary is because he asked me not to.
from supermommy :
I guess it's not too big of a deal, but it kind of made me mad at a girl that I considered my friend. Only 2 girls showed up at his bachelor party, even though they weren't supposed to be there. One I can't stand, and one I thought was a friend. Well, the guys held him down on the host's bed, and my "friend" spread whipped cream up his stomach, licked it off, took off her shirt, rubbed her breasts all over him and waved them in his face. He said he was grossed out the whole time because of her being another mom our age. I don't know. I'm not really mad at him, I'm just upset about what she did, and now I feel betrayed. I guess it's silly, because it did happen 3 years ago, but how do you look someone in the face after doing something like that? I just don't understand.
from supermommy :
Hey, I'm gonna use your Reese now if that's okay with you!?!? Let me know asap, I can't wait to get it up!
from chasingastar :
forgot this (27/02): spammers don't even have to make money by gettnig people to buy their product. they just make up a list of all the email addresses that worked (ie didn't get bounced because there was no address by that name) and sell it to other spammers. if you ever reply to a spammer, your address moves up in the list and becomes part of a really EXPENSIVE list. So yeah. Spamming sucks.
from rosarybeads :
02/24: (I forgot this in my gb message) It's horrible to have to say goodbye to all the soldiers and sailors. I still hate it when Keith leaves - I worry for him, and everyone on his ship, and all the families they leave behind. It's so depressing. But when they come home it's SO worth the traffic jam at the base gates! xoxo
from destinedstar :
hahaha monty python great! erin!

from jenne1017 :
As long as he is a full-time student (no matter the age) he can take out federal student loans and others. I have a federal loan and one from Citibank (the % rate is only 3% or so on both). Loans suck but in the long, LONG run, it's worth it!
from dandelionkat :
You and Mollie are good friends? Wow! That's so good yall are much alike! Mollie is such a wonderful girl. When she comes and visits you, you must take pictures and post them.. and her adorable darlings and Greg. Simply Must!! heh.. love another kat
from mandypandy83 :
Kat, thank you for the offer. I'm going to start off with a mother-daughter template that I found that I just fell in love with. But I will sure let you know when I'm ready for a change. I'm not sticking with the same template all year this time, I don't think. I'll email you the url. I'm trying to keep my new home a secret. I know word spreads quickly here though. I just wanted a fresh start you know? So look for that special email ;)
from jen69 :
omg that is so out of order. i can't believe someone would do that to you. i don't know you but from what i've read you seem like a genuinely nice person. i'm so sorry that you have been forced to lock your diary. i enjoyed reading you. x x x
from dandelionkat :
I just stumbled (I'd like to say gracefully tripped!) upon your diary today. I am really disappointed that is also the same day you've decided to lock it. But I will say I am addicted to you aready. And I WISH CERTAIN PEOPLE COULD REALISE THAT CERTAIN THINGS ARE NOT FOR THEM AND STOP BEING SO DANG NOSY! Ok so now I have vented and I can go back to being nice. I am addicted to sweaters too... heh. Your 101 Facts cracked me up! I think your husband is cute too! I want to major in pyschology an I was thinking about a minor in criminal justice. So I bow to you... Haha. Thanks for the great laughs EVEN IF they only lasted a little while... kat

If you look on older.html, to the links section on the right of the page, it's the second set of links down, titled archives =o). Sorry, I just liked them better there for this layout.
from mandypandy83 :
Aw thanks hun. The girl who wanted to set that up (it wasn't me-I have too much already) decided to just go with secret santa or something. Thanks for the offer though, and I will pass it on to her.
from bestdesigns :
We just love you so...go see what's cooking!

from pearlie147 :
I hear ya on the Welfare post. Try living in Germany - a socialist society. 50% tax rate, high unemployment and there are people living better off the system than if they had jobs. It's crazy. Then, if they have pets, they get even more money!! I also work hard for my $$ and refuse to give it to some guy sitting on the side of the street with his hand out. Go. Get. A. Job. Maybe I'm cold and heartless, but why should I give him my hard earned cash when he can go get his own??
from sk8ter-grl :
thanks kat :) I am forever grateful! neway...ima go add a new entry and check out the layout. once again thanks. SMiLe :D from none other than: sk8ter-grl
from princess154 :

Your design was one of the first to be featured on our Best Designs page. I love your work, and there is no doubt that your site will again be hit for another favorite design. Just wanted to let you know, and if you know of anyone who has used the Wine Glass template and would like to leave a note with comments, please forward them to Best Designs. If you yourself have any comments, feel free to leave them, because I would love to have a comment from the actual designer herself. Thank you so much Katress!

Happy anniversary! Look we have soooo much in common. I was diagnosed with anxiety 10 yrs ago, and I'm just surprised to see the amount of people going through the same thing I have gone through. I am doing well with my disorder. I f you ever need to talk, give me a call. I am hear for you. I know the need to have someone to talk to that understands the whole "a" thing. You hang in there. Love ya!
from glitterscars :

from rosarybeads :
You and me both! :) But yes. Very happy that it wasn't what I thought it was. How awful would that have been? Oy. Not even gonna go there. My girls are playing with rocks. Katie says they are dinosaur bones. Riiiight. LOL
from chasingastar :
oh, lucky lucky cats! my furbabies are jealous. I want to do all sorts of things like that for them once Shane and I buy (like an outdoor screened room so they can go outside and run around but not get hurt, etc) a house, but for now...they will just have to be jealous of your cats :)
from jetta36 :
Your hubby built a room for the cats. That is SO funny. :)
from captainron :
The Guestbooks have been dead for the last two days. Something about an unpaid bill... Happy Thursday!
from rosarybeads :

from glitterscars :
Me again - I finally got around to answering the "five songs" question on your survey, although being the cheat I am I picked ten and dedicated a whole entry to it: http://glitterscars.diaryland.com/lastsongs.html
from glitterscars :
Have a nice vacation!
from glitterscars :
Sorry to hear about your aunt's death, but I know exactly what you mean - my grandfather's 89 and needing more and more help and I can't help thinking sometimes that death would be a blessing.
from dlandbdays :
You have a very lovely diary.
from glitterscars :
Just so you know... I clix you every time I visit ;)
from jenne1017 :
hey hun. long time no talky. just wanted to say hey :o)
from krownorazors :
I agree with you completely, I need to grow up, I over reacted. I know I am not always right, I was releasing an opinion, it wasn't right for everyone to crucify me, that is why I got angry at all of you. Do not take it personally, I do want to apologize for anything I may have done to piss you off, and do know that I respect your opinions and well everything. I hope that you do not have a grudge against me, I have learned to move on, I hope you will too.
from saved0803 :
I didn't realize you had left me a message. I was really surprised that anyone would even dare read my boring old entries! I know they're boring, they even put me to sleep when I'm looking through them. I would rather read yours and everyone else's. But thanks for the message. Hope you got that promotion! :O)
from unemployed :
aw thank you for the messages while i was gone katress. my new laptop makes your page colours looks even prettier. i've got to resign your guestmap i think because i completely mislocated portland, oregon. d'oh!
from barenaked500 :
I love your layout!!! That kitty on top is so cool! ;o)
from jordicat :
thanks for leaving a message! I really enjoy reading your diary. it's one of my top three favorite diaries to read. and you are right, they are like little novels in progress.
from mandypandy83 :
Thank you so much for adding me to your favorites! LoL, wow, that made my morning :).
from tk-reviews :
Dare to try our review site? Let's see if you're a thriller!
from ripetomato :
I actually had key-face once after pulling an all-nighter and then attempting to stay up late again the next night typing something up in Word. I don't remember dozing off, but I woke up a little later with the keys digging into my cheek and a strange mess of letters typed on the screen. No one ever believes me when I tell them. Perhaps that's for the best, since it wasn't a proud moment. :oP
from escape53 :
hey..I know how those naps go...more power naps I say. you are so talented..always finding something to write about.
from sovain :
You didn't properly request a review. Please read the rules, and request again. Thank you.
from thecrankyone :
Whew!! I think Bravenet may have a Crack problem. They seem to be down alot. Others have been able to get in, but I have noticed a decline in messages.. I think you have my work email. I tried to send a cartoon to your diaryland email, but I am not sure if you got it. otherwise email me at my first [email protected] and I can send you my phone number. Xena loves having her own room. She talks to me when I go in to visit her. Mostly I think she is saying where is the grub?? I should be around this weekend if you are free. Now if my computer at home would stop crashing when I talking to people it gets annoying. Do you have AIM or MSN or ICQ?? My user info should be in my profile if you do. Holly
from mandypandy83 :
from roguemarine :

You are now considered a kindred spirit. Did you know there are actually people in this world who ENJOY getting up early? Great diary...I'll have to keep reading.
from wolligog :
yeah, I think they add the exotic flavours on there just to sell more of them to people who have a taste for that kinda thing. I didn't buy them I got them in a chrisco hamper.
from yours-truly :
ive been having some trouble getting into your page. it gets as far as the top of the page and then stops loading. ive tried on a couple of different computers. is anyone else having trouble or is it just me? eek! :)
from ripetomato :
Thank you. Yes, you, much like other fellow Diarylanders, are very responsive. I like that. It's those damned real-lifers I would like to throttle at times (just so they'd pay attention to me). Thanks for the kind words.
from yours-truly :

from krispiepop :
thank you for your message. i always feel embarrassed when really sweet people read my diary because i usually write about really mean things. i hope your husband's boss' nose explodes, but not when he's anywhere near your husband cos that would be really disgusting and unfortunate.take care, kirstyx
