The devotional link is handy. Glad to see that and the banner. :) Also, although it has nothing to do with anything I must recommend a movie called Flywheel, since it seems you might be the type to appreciate it.

WOW it took me a long time to find this page.. I have been writing in Diaryland for a long time but had never set up a profile.. I'm not sure yet how it all works!! I thankyou for your comments on debt!!

11/21/04 - Utterly heartbreaking. Anyone who thinks otherwise has no heart at all. What kind of parent could even think about allowing that to happen.

11/19/04 - Today's entry made me cry. I'm so sorry for your loss, but so thankful that you have the assurance of seeing him again. That is so much more than many grieving parents have. I don't stop in and leave notes often enough, but I certainly do appreciate your notes and comments. {{{BIG HUG}}}

9/6/04 - Hi! Catching up a little with those on my "favorites" - FYI you are not shallow!!! I love reading the little day to day things - they are generally the most telling. I have alot of admiration for you - I wish I had the inclination or the motivation to go back to school.

Have a Wonderful New Year ! Keep writing and I'll keep reading. Upload images too.

Hi Kdip - Yes - apparently it does work. I did receive your message and now I will explore your journal. Thanks for writing. -S-

3-19-03 I forgot how to skin the cat. Bp today was 160-something over 79 with pulse of 67. That is much better than Saturday's 204/120. That figure made 1d's BP go very high, and she made me promise to go to the doctor Monday, and even went with me. Got some additional medicine and I feel good. I really want to voice my admiration for Tony Blair and the Brits today. He had such courage to continiue on even in the face of lots of criticism from his countrymen. But today the House of Commons upheld his decision. How I admire them also for trusting his leadership. We Americans could learn a few things from our cousins across the sea.

3-7-03 There is more than one way to skin a cat. Can't post in the journal except at certain times right now so I shall just write letters to myself here! BP was 162/92 That will please 2d I hope as it is down from the other day. Got all my shopping done on this Friday, bill paying too. It is gusting rain.

At the risk of alienating you, I am writing something that has been on my heart for several days concerning your journal. I won't blame the message on the Lord 'cause I can come up with thoughts that may not have come from Him. When you commented today about having the person you want, it seemed like another nudge to tell you my thoughts. Concerning love, according to Greek studiers, there are 3 types mentioned in the Bible. One is phileo, which is what you feel for your family and little one, another is eros, that sensual love that centers us on who we want and usually only lasts as long as the itch does. The third is agape, and this is the kind that God has and want us to have. It is a deliberate choosing to love. A decision that says 'with God's help(and it sometimes takes alot) I am goig to love this person no matter what. Every single married person needs to change that eros love into agape love . It is the only kind that will last, work in our relationship, and raise happy kids. Elisabeth Elliot, in one of her books, talks about the Coat Guard motto. "You have to go out, you don't have to come back" I think she meant this to refer to agape love not depending on the other person's response to the agape giver. I know from personal experience that God can give us this type of love that will give us a new perspective on the loved, tenderness and concern for their welfare that goes far beyond either of the other 2 loves we may have had for them. I was also thinking of the Biblical principle of two becoming one flesh. I'm sure that doesn't mean we are one flesh with all our various partners, but surely joining together and creating a new life is the most amazing outworking of that concept. While not advising you to join back with baby's father in a permanent relationship, little things that have been related make me wonder if Soneone else should be consulted in this matter. With fear, trembling and love, your friend.

Thanks kdip. Yes! She a real beauty. Actually she was very pretty when we first met but she has gotten genuinely beautiful over the passing years. Nope! She has no desire to write on-line. She doesn't do snail mail letter either. She let's her actions speak for her. Clarence

o...k.....you confuse me!!!
from kdip :
I'm gonna sit right down and write myself a letter. And make believe it came from you. I'm gonna write words o so sweet, they're gonna knock me off my feet. A lotta kisses on the bottom, I'll be glad I got'em. I'm gonna write and say I hope I'm feeling better. And close with love the way you used to do. I'm gonna sit right down and write myself a letter. And make believe it came from you.
