| hi, I was reading random writings and I clicked on your writing name. After reading your profile I see that one of your favorite authors is Anais Nin. I love her writings. I remember going to the public library when I was in junior high. I was allowed to read whomever and whatever I wanted to by my parents. I recall reading "The Drifters" when I was 12 because my dad said to me that I would so love the imagery of Mitchner's characters, and it was about being free, young and a hippy. Oh, back to Anais Nin and the library. I came upon a shelf in the library that had the diaries of Anais Nin. I checked out the first volume 1931-1934. I loved it. So this was nice to see that someone I just clicked on to read likes to read Anais Nin. A person just can't read her writings once. Since I am now in my 50's I would guess that I have reread her works a few times. Always something reaches out and you sit there and think about it. Bye now.....thanks for the read. =^..^= |
