Oh no, I don't think you can ever lose that talent. You probably just shoved it back into a deep corner of your heart and it needs to be found again. I used to write very well, then completely lost it - I'm starting to get it back now. My diary is eowynne.diaryland.com, if you ever want to know what I write about. Kind of depressing lately, but I try to write what I feel for realism. I've seen the sequels for Aladdin (there are two), Lion King, and Pocahontas. Lion King II is a pretty good movie, IMO. Didn't like the Pocahontas sequel.

I agree. Vanity is also an evil word. I don't think I'm crossing the line with vanity. At least I'm on the other side. The side where you don't think you're good enough and want to improve, not the side where you're already there and know it. And yeah, I shouldn't think too much about the way I look. When I don't care about it, it does nothing but put me in a frumpy mood. Plus, it just gives me something to do when I'm picking at myself. Bad reason, but there's truth to it. I looked at your pictures and you're beautiful. I'm glad you uploaded them. Looking at pictures of people happens to be one of my favorite things. I don't know why, but it is. Thank you for the note! I really don't know how I came up with my username. I think the word 'vanity' is beautiful for some odd reason and I'm sure 'sweet' was the only thing that I could throw together with it at the time. I came up with it on a whim probably. Getting down to 100 pounds has been my goal for the past three years almost, so this is the most motivation I've had in the longest time. I think I'm doing it for K also, so he won't be embarrassed around me in public. I'm sure he wants someone who can take care of their body and that's what I want to give him. Plus, I'm a stubborn teenager who wants everything perfect ;-) Something to do, I guess. And I wanted to look at your pictures, but they weren't working. Hey, thanks for the note. The name is something I just made up one day. Well, one night while playing basketball in my driveway when I was 11-ish, for way too much background info. Root canals and root canal fillings hardly hurt at all actually, because the teeth are dead/you are frozen. It's the jaw bone surgery that'll kill ya... *shivers*

well, its basically the same as the rest of his books. its about finding oneself. i prefer the solitaire mystery because its not as technical as sophie's world. its more of a story of discovery as compared to sophie's world where its more of a history of philosophy. know what i mean?

Hi, Only me. Yes I got the note about my new design, so thanks for that... About my reviews, The diary is on hold for a couple of reasons. The images kept mucking up on the computer I was using, and there is no Archive page. I left the person a note asking about the Archive page, I even just tried typing in the address it would be myself.. No such luck. I just thought I'd end up giving a really bad score because the images and older entries weren't really any good so I'd put it on hold until, a)they got back to me or b)you came up with a plan! Hi there! I'm coming from traders to try to answer your question on how to post your card. I'm sorry to say I don't know how much help I can be, as I created it over a year ago and haven't really been back since the first wave of cards floated around diaryland. Looking at the site today, I didn't see any problem with it - it seems that there have been several entries added in the last two days, if that means anything. The only thing I can think of that may be giving you problems is that you tried to add an entry without being logged in? You do have to be logged in under your user name for it to accept your entry. Let's put it this way, you can't review everybody, there is just too many people out there. Don't feel bad if someone requests another reviewer over you. It could be a multitude of factors that are completely unrrelated to you. The person requesting could have seen a common factor in the bio, perhaps they are familiar with the other reviewer's diary, etc. Always do your best with what you have and you can never go wrong...

I was just being supportive of a friend, I've recieved mediocre reviews from people who couldn't relate to my content, some of them were younger, way younger than I so I related and sympathized. Give me some time to read over that review and I'll let you know what I think, but just to let you know my opinion of you hasn't changed, I still think you are a decent reviewer who still takes extra time and care in reviewing and to me that is the most important thing.

No, I have nothing against you. I'm sorry you thought that from the entry I posted. When I read the comment about younger reviewers it seemed to me that it made me seem a little insensitive, and since I was getting quite a few hits from the review (woohoo! I'm such a stats whore) I wanted to explain to any readers that might come by that the entry in question was written with sarcasm and that I don't bash people on a regular basis. Although I stand by my comment that many younger reviewers have a hard time relating to the diaries of older diarists, and often give them low scores on content. So yes, we are ok!

college is easier than high school because you don't have so much stupid busy work. If you can work independantly is a breeze. This is on every level. I have friends that went to Harvard and state schools, and everything in between. College is much better than high school. Plus most people are there to learn. Its a great envirmoent. Hi there. Yes. I would want the pregs. I really would. But this is because I think its speical and I can say that cause I am guy and don't have to shoot a kid out. However, what I will say to you about being smart. I was in your boat. Like good on the SAT, but not great, high is the class but not in the top 20. But I'll tell you college is a diffrent story and a chance to make up for any shortcomings in HS. Trust me. I went from the bottom to the top in just four years.

I probably can't sign again that fast, either. At my college, 12 credits was considered full time, that's 3 or 4 classes per quarter, and I usually carried 18-21 credits, no problem. It's not "homework" in the sense that it was in high school, not much worksheets and stuff, more like reading or research projects. You are expected to do more learning on your own than with a teacher holding your hand. It's mostly reading, and if you are a fast reader, you may find you have MORE free time than you did in high school. (And you learn quickly what you can just skim, or not even bother reading at all.) I expected to jump into work that was (I suppose) graduate-level stuff, but it really was just a continuation of high school, like what would be appropriate for a high school senior. The classes get tougher, but you work up to it over the years, just like in high school. My best advice? If you think a class is a bit too hard, join a study or tutoring group, or start one if there isn't one. (If it's hard for you, it's bound to be harder yet for others!) And if there's something you discover a knack for or that you love, tutor! You might be able to get credit for it, and it's a lot of fun and looks good on a resume.
