I saw a counselor for a while too and let me tell ya, the benefits outweight the embarassement of what your parents will think anyday. It's nothing to be ashamed of, depression is a disease and you deserve to feel better. And btw, I'mma try the fried turkey next year!! lol

Girl, I somewhat understand how you feel. I hide my feelings well too, so good I almost believe my own lies. I want to be happy, I say everything is okay because it seems easier. I say if you've been depressed this long, maybe you should seek some type of counseling. I know I'm considering it.

I had depression for 18 months straight and I was like, screw this - I got help asap. Go see a dr. and don't be embarrassed, you don't even need to tell anyone if you don't like - inc. your parents if you don't feel like it at first. No one who really cares about you judges you. The others, don't tell them - it's none of their business! I've had counselling, group therapy, and was on medication for over a year - only 5 people in the world whom know me personally know this. I was the shyest, most introspective person you could ever meet and I got through it, despite how scared I was. Without my struggles with my problems I would never have become strong enough to move to Canada on my own. You'll be thankful you sought help. Trust me. :)

im so sorry that you`ve been feelin that way mama =( ive been goin to a counselor on and off for most of my life do to my parents divorce and otha things and trust me it DOES help. the one thing that i like about counselors is that they dont know u, so they cant judge you...btw im goin to school to be one...its sad how ppl think that once you seek counseling then something is wrong with you...thats bullshit! i personally think that counselin is one of the best stress relief and ALOT of ppl in this world need it & u shouldnt worry about what others would think about u if u go there....you're doin this for you!.. try to explain your feelins to your parents, im sure they'll understand =) keep prayin, go to counseling and also start a journal ( a much personal one then this ) and jus write the hell out of it...i jus started doin that and man, does it work!...ill continue to pray for u mama, you'll get thru this =)

Hmmm, so many things to say. My breasts are too small, yes, and even though I am cola bottle shaped like them freaking video ho's I have horrid bumpy bits over my ass (they prob do too, just can't see with all the TV magic and shit). it's so funny that you say thaat because in a way i kind of understand. i'm going to a community college here in michigan [winter semsester], and the plan was always to transfer to a school close by because i didn't want to leave my mom. recently though, i been wanting to move to texas after my two years of cc, and go to texas sounthern university. i'll probably still end up back in michigan, but i ant to experience change, and go through things without my mom being there to fix my problems all the time. you just gotta do what you feel like is best for you though.
