I am also on LJ - ladypoetess there, as well...

...and on a side note, might I recommend having a diary or two that are... not-so-public? Having places to spill out the razorblade dreams where you're reasonably sure no one will come and pester you about your rantings afterward is quite a comfort.

*licks* By tomorrow night I'll be in portland... I'd love to spend some time hanging out with you if you're free during the week. And and and you ARE coming to the weddingness, yesh? *written by a Jax who has to be up in two hours and leaving an hour after that* ...and remind me to find some way to introduce you to Lerofera. You'd like her.

"You step in the stream,/but the water has moved on./This page is not here." was written by my partner's ex-wife, Cass, and originally published in Reader's Digest, attributed to "Cassandra Whittington" - she's over on LiveJournal, username: exquiscadavre

< psych nurse mode > Taking meds to help anxiety/depression/$mental_illness_of_choice is not a bad thing - if your body needed help with maintaining the appropriate level of a hormone (like thyroid, for instance) you'd take meds for that, wouldn't you? It is just the same with brain chemicals - if you need the pharmaceutical help to maintain appropriate levels in your brain, then there is absolutely NO shame in doing so. Granted, some meds have some less-than-pleasant side effects. For many people, the side effects last only as long as it takes their body to acclimate to the medication - though there are those who never get rid of the side effects. If the side effects are too bothersome, your doctor can help find a medication that will be beneficial but hopefully have fewer side effects. It is wonderful that Paxil is working for you and that you aren't having the negative side effects. For those that have side effects that don't abate after a time, I would always STRONGLY caution in favor of consulting a physician before stopping the medication, as you are right - tapering the dose is almost always necessary, as stopping abruptly can cause even worse problems. < /psych nurse mode >

from jaxraven :
*snuggles* Of course I miss you, silly... just ask Caleb, who has had to sit through my repeated 'oh, I wish Becca could see this' and 'I hope Becca's OK' ramblings.

Bah. My love found himself dealing with a similar scam while he was job-hunting - this sounds like yet another affiliate of a company called DS-Max. Be glad you didn't do more with them than you did - it's basically a pyramid scheme for recruiting new employees.
from sin- :
didnt expect you to lock your diary so soon...but I understand... could i have the password please? you have my e-mail and all...
from sin- :
you can have the password to my diary if you want, i'm just not giving it out by default to everyone who has me on their favorites list this time. tell me if you *do* want it and i'll e-mail it to you.

great looking diary!!!! if you look at mine, you will go blind from its plain ways.
from jaxraven :
Argh... girl, I left a message on your guestbook with the number, and I'll be calling over there in a moment to wake you, apparently. I did see the message, I didn't call because I thought you'd be more likely to get a guestbook entry than be there for a phone call. You and Ryan are both DEFINITELY invited over here, asap!
from ladychandra :
How funny and horror-movie-ish, I can leave a message for myself... I'm just turning on this page so that my HTML setup will work. Nifties.

update April 6, 2020: Sorry, we just had 8+ hours downtime due to a server problem. Restoring from backups took soooo long, but everything is back and no data was lost. Ay yay yay! Anyhow, hope everyone is well with the virus stuff.
