How'd I make the d-land banner? Well, I opened a new pic to the size I needed it, filled in teh back with solid black, paintbrush - custom, chose cool looking brushes, set opacity to about 75, changed the colour to a sepia/yellowish colour, placed the paintbrushes where I thought they looked coolest. Then I went to text, changed colour to black, typed it, moved it where I wanted it, then went back to text, changed the colour, put it a little behind the other one, and then did that again with another colour. TADAA!! (^_^) See, I just have nothing better to do all day than to fiddle around with PSP so I got really comfortable with the brushes. And I think your banners on your diary are gorge!! They looks fabulous!
