Well, I was sorry to hear about you and Nigel-no-more, but I feel certain that you will continue to do great things. Oh, the bowing hand, that is something, isn't it? I always think of just moving from the elbow and keeping the wrist soft. Have fun! XOFifi

After over 5 years of being for-you-only on diaryland I'm finally going to be moving to a new blog where I won't be revealing my name or other people's names or where I live. The personal information on my blog has come back to bite me time and time again, and it's time to close this blog's doors for good. Thanks for reading me here. If you want to find my new blog, join my notify list. ~Phoenix

Your Geisha painting is so exquisitely beautiful!! Did you use acrylics or another form of medium? I've always wanted to go to a planetarium.

I really hate it when people change plans on me as well. I've actually discovered that it's such a serious problem for me emotionally that I've really been practicing letting go. Like today. Corvier was going to take me out for my birthday. I told myself yesterday that it might not go as planned. Well. It didn't happen at all, and I managed not to get all bent out of shape, which is a big turn-around from six months ago where I would have cried and pouted all day long. A big help is a book I've been reading, "The Art of Happiness" by Howard Cutler and the Dalai Lama. It's an excellent read. Also, if you have a spare moment, check out my new site: http://real-poison.diaryland.com/home.html Anyway, *hugs*

yeah the government overtaxes stuff they should'nt, but anyways congrats to you :) i used to be totally dependent on gravol, i used to be car sick a lot, but then i used it to avoid panic attacks in public and after a while i realized that i really didn't need it and i haven't had gravol in years and its given me the confidence to feel better about myself.

A good show is even better the second time, right? Oh, the username is "read" and the password is "me" -- didn't mean to lock anyone out in particular really. It's just the my blog can be google searched and I'm not about to remove everyone's names -- it would take too much editing. So, it was either get a new blog and change my writing style or lock it.

hiya, thank you so much for liking my list :) yes i know exactly what you mean about people being embarrassed to show their emotions while watching any sort of emotionally deep film..i tend to cry a lot and yes Edith Piaf was the heart of France and that film was just so powerful! I just don't get people..what is wrong in having a good cry now and then..i remember when i saw Beaches with my mom, we were the only ones crying so much in the theater and everyone was looking at us all weird..gawdddd!! its okay to cry, i even cry at the sweet parts in the Home Alone films, they just warm my heart so much.

mmmmmm..men in kilts! yup, i've seen a few of those..haha..a teacher of mine back in high school, Mr. Gillis, used to joke with me that men don't wear anything under them and he once wore the full kilt including sporan to school one day when it was a special assembly and all i could think of was if he was wearing undies or not. I'd love to play the letter game.:)

Ah, Cherokee, there are a few really good books on the language, and it isn't really as difficult as some of them. I tend to find philosophy and spirituality in the language of a people. Not like I don't mangle English daily! Pee Ess I am really diggin' your "like" lists! xoFifi

I too love Mr. Dog's noises. SO, about the NA philosophy...any particular Nation? My sister and I were strongly influenced by the Lakota Nation, as we lived in the UpperZMidwest of this country when we were very young...before moving back up North. I feel the influence to this day, although I deffo declare as an Anglican as far as spirituality. The nice kind, though, that love one no matter who one happens to be, not the exclusive ones that rule one out because of this and that...xoFifi Pee Ess I've not quite packed them up, but I did find a bonus, AND I am sending along a chicken for #4.

Well, I was thinking that you might just have some sitting about. The pie birds that I have are many and varied. Some sponge painted, some claylike, well...uh I am almost too lazy to even go see. Really, it is up to you, how many pie birds for an animal. I really do like the kitties, and Biba is mad for cats...but I like your little odd ones as well. I think that I have a goose pie bird as well, deffo modern...xoFifi

I'm soo glad that Marion won!! She trully deserved that award. I'm a huge Edith Piaf fan too and thought she became so much her in the film. It was sweet at the after party celebrations when a reporter asked her to sing her favourite Piaf song and she did "Padam..Padam".

yeah you're probaby right! they said that he was under way too much pressure and that he had the Joker role constantly in his head and he was taking some sort of anti-depressants and he might've mixed those with other drugs. Last night on Anderson Cooper, they said that the autopsy report was inconclusive, there were no blood clots or anything in the brain found and now it will take two weeks for further tests to find out what happened. It still doesnt make sense :(

That would be fun. To visit, that is. Though Corvier wouldn't let me leave him for a night or two to go. He'd want to come with, but he'd be terrified of taking a plane. Perhaps it would be a good reason to get him used to taking planes. A round trip from Buffalo to Chicago isn't too bad in price. Write back. ;) (Perhaps you'd e-mail me your new address (pitifulbarbie@aol.com) so I could check it out on mapquest.) ~Phoenix
