I must say that this is rather disurbing considering the profession you're in. And yes, they do deserve to have someone be upset with them. They should take responisiblity for their morals. If they are going to have a lack of morals/ethics.. then they should take responsibilty for that as well (but then what would I know?)

"is love not all it seems / just some impossible dream / are we fools to trust completely / was love every really free?".... Love is all it seems, and more, and that's why it's never free. I don't know who, what or why anyone would get the impression that love is free, but it's not. It never has been. It demands blood, sweat, and tears, a price not many are capable of paying, but we the fools pay anyway, we pay until our last drop of blood renders us useless. Until we're dead.

"fall into the love warp / resist and it will tear you apart" Yeah right. It tears you apart whether or not you resist it. Love is just like that. It's going to hurt. no matter what.

for some reason, I want to tell you to fuck off and hug you at the same time. I don't want you to make me hurt like this. I've tried very hard to cover up all that hurt, and I don't appreciate anyone picking at the scabs, intentionally or unintentionally... On the other hand.. I love you for it. I know it's not good for me. I know you mean well.. And I know you care... so *hugs* for your pain. If writing that, and knowing that I read it, and that it did me some good, can make everything just that much more worthwhile for you, than that is what I dearly, dearly hope.

I really like this one. It's honest without being overly harsh.

I don't think I've ever read a different take on a poem titled "unfinished" (by that I mean a poem in which "unfinished" refers to life rather than the unfortunate fact that a poem is not finished). As for life being a roller coaster... That is simply one manifesation... A very poignantly accurate one, but still only one. Life can be represented by a whole slue of concepts/images. So, I don't know as realizing that life is a roller coaster will really help improve anyone's quality of living... And I think that's probably not even what you were really saying per se, but it was my thought. P.S. Some of your links didn't work. I think you need to go in and fix them by editing [not really editing, but make the server think you're editing] an existing entry by simply going to an entry and pushing change entry without changing anything).

Now, I don't happen to think that most young people are in love, but I still wonder what makes people think that it's impossible for young people understand and be in love. Granted, a lot of young people aren't capable of deep, lasting love.. but then they are not taught and shown how to love like that. In spite of that, some knowingly or unknowingly break out of the predetermined stereotype to do exactly what "adults" assume they are incapable of.

subtle difference from your other one to be sure.. and funny how those simple changes make all the difference. I thoroughly enjoyed reading is (as you may or may not have noticed in my favorites).. both versions to be too. and thanks for responding to my note to you in candora.. it really makes me feel loved. whenever someone does that... because I know they have read what I said and taken it to [heart?]... or wherever.. but somewhere closer to them. (which makes me closer in a way.. if you know what I mean?)

I always wondered about that: the things that love require of a person, one to another. When I think about it, I am amazed of what it requires of people, saddened that so few choose to give it their all, and hopeful that I might continue to find others who consciously choose to always give every bit of it their all.
