Don't you just want to go to Sephora to try on sparkly eye-makeup, and then maybe hit the local dive bar, where we'd both end up getting really wasted on Long Island iced teas and accidentally vomiting on someone's plate of chicken wings before stumbling outside to sit on the sidewalk and just laugh and laugh before noticing, seriously, that the pavement is really comfortable and why don't we just lie down? And then we'd call each other the next morning, all hung over and wondering where you left your bra and oh my God, I hope I didn't leave it in the bar, no, wait here it is, I just left it on the sofa. And then one of us would pad over to the other's apartment with a cardboard box of greasy tacos and watch Center Stage and moan for the rest of the day- Wouldn't that be fun?

i don't think i'll ever understand how relationships work. and that almost makes me want to give up on them altogether. and then i read something like your entry for 08/25 and i'm comforted by the fact that it's always possible for us to pick ourselves up and move on when things don't work out the way we plan.

Relationships are crazy like that. Even when you know its over and your are (more or less) ok with it... they still eat you up with all the coulda-shoulda-wouldas. Strange. As if your heart honsetly believes that the outcome would have been different if a single moment could have been changed. Don't worry too much about it (the past relationship, or the analysis of what has been). We are happy to listen (or I guess read would be the better term) whenever you feel the need to vent.

Efforts toward correcting this anomaly have been thwarted by an uncooperative computer. I would like a permanant visitor's pass to your commune though, if possible, a room with a view.

cool, another night person... even the stuffiest person is more real after dark, but during the day it's rare to find a relaxed person enjoying life... it's kinda like the sun comes up and most people put on their job interview suit and then the sun goes down and everybody puts on their clown suit (or at least takes off their formal wear)... I say send in the clowns, the funny ones, I mean.
