Regarding the "diary nazi" thing... In my opinion, one way to restructure your criticism without compromising your point/opinion/belief is to change your wording just a little. You can say the same thing yet with softer words. Instead of stating that someone would agree with you that their article was really sucky... Perhaps you could try a phrase such as, "In my opinion, this is not the best work I have read. If you want to be taken seriously, you may want to change..." And then make a few points as to what needs to be corrected. Perhaps that's doing the writer's work for them, but simply choosing a few different phrases could make a tremendous difference in the reception. Just an opinion. The Fatal Tiger

Oh My god Mandi, I'm so sorry I couldn't be there for you last night, when you needed to talk to someone the most. Things like this happen in a relationship, and you have to communicate this to Roger, you should tell hime how you feel, don't be afraid to cry. If he is getting distant, it might be cause hes getting bored, try to spice things up. But remember try not to bitch at him, try not to make it his faul, even though it might be his fault. Instead of saying " you are being distant" say "we are being distant" it might lighten things abit, and it will keep him less defensive.

Just to let you know, I saw the humor in your little joke about W. Bush. Except I don't think many people would be holding him back. And, I too wish that Clinton were back in office. Not only does he have the humanity and patience to comfort the nation, but also the intelligence to see some sort of end to this, maybe without war. I'm so afraid that my friends (who are the right age) will be drafted into war! =(
