from f-i-n :
I love that entry about the milano-snacking great aunt.
from mommylap :
I've never gotten to meet Clive Barker, but he was the speaker at the Marvel dinner at a comic retailers convention years ago, and he's SO funny, and SO delightful I just loved him. Your story about him remembering you is so cool, and you must still be feeling about to burst. I'm so psyched for you. And totally relieved that this wasn't an entry about Clive Barker dying, because that.would.suck.
from ramanda :
Ooooh Matt Cameron! I love him! I saw PJ last week and they rocked the roof off. Those drums make my heart happy. I keep trying to IM you on myspace but I never get a response. Boo!
from golfwidow :
Go you with the not-smoking.
from pandionna :
Congrats! From all I've read at your beloved's diary, it sounds like you really bust your butt for your company, so it's well-deserved!
from ramanda :
Those are some SWEET benefits! I got a promotion today, but I didn't get a $6000 cheque or an extra week's holdays. I think I'm working for the wrong company! Again, congrats :)
from ramanda :
Dave! That's AWESOME! I'm so happy for you! I know you work really hard and I'm glad thay recognize it. Congrats! So what kind of perks come with the coveted title?
from ramanda :
Sooooo jealous! I blew all my concert money on Jimmy Buffett, Pearl Jam and the Stones. So no Judas Priest for me. Though I am going to Def Leppard ;)
from ramanda :
Happy Birthday Dave :)
from pandionna :
I was wondering where you were! Happy birthday (early)!
from vintagedeath :
Thank you. I might reconsider my opinion of it being rascist.
from ramanda :
Oooh! Those are shoes to rock out and kick ass in. I am jealous!
from daylilies :
hello... I went to your diary becuase you're on the Rush diaryring too... YAY... it's amazing... i really like it... a lot. hahhaa... to say the least, great job!!! just had to tell you that! :-P
from ramanda :
Wow! You've got Photoshop skillz, yo! And you know girls like guys with skills. Congrats :)
from ramanda :
Oh. Just oh. I was trying to find a fitting way to leave a little tribute to Hunter S in my diary. And I couldn't find a way to say it that didn't sound clich. Now I can. I can link to this. Thanks Dave. *hugs*
from pandionna :
DUDE! You shovelled the complex? That sound you hear is me cheering madly. Talk about restoring my faith in humanity!
from mommylap :
If you think you can go to a place called "Marvel Super Hero Island" and not do an entry about it in full-on comic geek fashion, you are wrong. Because I must know more than a fleeting paragraph from eve's diary.
from soror :
Liszt's real first name is Ferenc, that is the Hungarian original of Franz.
from ramanda :
*hugs* I hear ya.
from mommylap :
I want the Thing to look much much BIGGER. I mean, he doesn't scream "It's Clobberin' Time" to me. I mean, I know he will, but his look doesn't. I want him rockier...
from everoboto :
Where'd you get those photos? Want info, baby. Don't withhold.
from rkwj1 :
I can't wait. I love the fantastic four. Charlize.........gggrrrrr!!! Later,ROB
from uberfrau :
I relate to your costco dream. Back when I worked in insurance, I used to have dreams about working and hten have to get up and go to work. It always made me bitter, On one hand, because I felt like I had spend an entire extra day at work and not gotten bad for it, and on the other because my subconscious had nothing better to come up with.
from ramanda :
What? That's crazy! How does that happen? Poor thing. I hope you're okay.
from mommylap :
I did find the secret link, and it made me laugh. Maybe you should give that lady a little thought balloon that says "I suck" or "I hope I am middle class enough" or something and that way when the thought balloon doesn't link, all your readers will find the real link and dig it.
from mommylap :
This is the best template EVER!!!
from nokrstn :
thanks man, I figured I was no where near interesting enough to read!
from everoboto :
Don't worry, baby, we'll just get someone else to pay for it. ;-)
from ramanda :
Oh! Your new computer! It's beautiful! I'm so jealous. I'm still trying to figure out how to save up enough to buy a iPod (which is like $600 Canadian!)
from rkwj1 :
I saw Rush Last year at the Giant Center in Hershey Pa.. My buddy got front row center tickets. I was so close I could have hit Peart with my empty beer cup. Liefson gave me a pick. It was a great show. Love those guys. They still Rock! Keep letting us know when your band is appearing. I'd love to check you guys out sometime. Have Fun! Later,ROB
from discothekid :
I'll definately be at your show!! I am such a fan of your band, you have no idea. Everytime I hear your bass player noodling about all haphazardly I get very elated in my tempral lobe, or is that my ear lobe? I think you guys rock and by rock I mean in the way Greek Gods were rumored to have Rocked! Speaking of being Greek I just want to say that even though your singer is more than just a little bit of a fruitcake I think you guys make some of the finest audible business since the invention of the emergency broadcast system. Good Luck and I will see you tonight!
from rkwj1 :
My life is never going to be complete knowing that the hot sauce store has been closed. I got such comfort just knowing it was there and if I ever really needed a hot sauce fix I could buy it there in mass quantities. Whatever will I do. If you really like the hot sauce there's a site from a place in Rehobeth Beach Delaware where you can buy any hot sauce you can think of and pretty cheap. You can buy it in bulk as well. I usually get it by the case. It's cheaper and they send right away. It's at http://www.peppers.com. By the way your diary looks great. Later,ROB
from everoboto :
I miss you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
from ramanda :
New layoutalicious! So stylin! I love it.
from lealoo :
Love the new design, and you might have noticed this already but the "sutton" sign needs BORDER="0" added to the image tag.
from leftunspoken :
That's just what's gonna happen when you hang skinned rabbits outside your windows. I always run into owls in strange places and my twin sister once had an illegal baby merlin falcon for a pet, but I don't think I've ever seen a hawk. Thanks for everything by the way. M.
from usagiisgod :
The hot sauce store is cool and they have an excellent Barnes and Noble in M of A. All in all, it's the true monolith of capitalism, but it's STILL not as painful as shopping at Metrocenter or ANY mall in Southern California.
from rkwj1 :
Yeah the mall. My sister lives in Minneapolis so I have been there also. How could you not love a place that has a roller coaster, a hot sauce store and a Hooters in it. It boggles the mind. Later,ROB
from golfwidow :
I don't know whether to be mad at "I, Robot" or at "The Naked Sun," which, as near as I can tell, is the real basis behind the film they're currently selling as "I, Robot".
from ramanda :
Hey hey! You and the Mrs. need to mark your calendars. I'm coming to NYC on August 19th.
from halfdevoured :
Oh, man! I thought that I left a note here for you to thank you for the advice. I've been running around like crazy trying to get things together for a move I'm making, trying to find out about work, and making arrangements with my friend Erin, my soon-to-be roommate. I did send a quick email to Eve to let her know that I needed your email address so that I could write you back properly. I remember sending one your way before, a few months ago, but I guess it was a discontinued address. I do have to run right now, but I will send that email later today, right after I post a diary entry that will (hopefully) be better than what I posted a few minutes ago. Most likely this evening, actually. I really appreciate you taking the time to give me all of that feedback--especially with that busy schedule of yours. Thanks so much! Now go fight some evil! Drop da Funk Bomb on it!
from ramanda :
"I hope you can see that, Mr. Robert Halford, 'cause I'm doing it as hard as I can." So good. Made me laugh out so hard that I choked on the popsicle I was eating. Have fun!!
from halfdevoured :
So you're the Masked Mooninnite now? Do you still exist in 5000 dimesions on the moon? And how's that vertical leap? I'm trying to get the DiaryGoddess site set for it's debut August 17th. I just wanted to be sure that's it's still cool to have as a member of it's sister ring, for heroes and deni-goddesses. I have a little blurb for you here: http://ambrosia1.diaryland.com/ambrosial.html Thanks! Have fun at the show!
from halfdevoured :
I could use a little help from Masked Mofo, the Afro'd Avenger. Whenever you have a chance. It's nothing urgent or life threatening. More life enriching, actually. I used to be in a band a few years ago and I really miss it, so when I move back home next week, I'm going to see if anyone needs a vocalist, because that's what I did in my old band. But I really want to pick up an instrument--the guitar--but don't know where to begin. Can you suggest a book to read, a guitar to start with or anything that may help me out as a beginner? And my second question is simply because I'm envious of your superhuman design skills: Where can I learn how to create awesome layouts like Mofo 2.0? It's brilliant! Anyway, that's it. Thanks for your time and I hope that the rest of your day is groovy.
from atomicbuddha :
I also tested and it looks good, nice design.
from darksight :
Looks really nice! I dig it, man.
from pandionna :
Ditto Ramanda. Looks fine to me.
from metame :
damnit it's too early for me to think of an appropriate adjective but I really like the new design and looked great in my browser... Opera, resolution 1152x864. cheers!
from ramanda :
Oooh spiffy! I love it. Though the links don't seem to work. I'm using IE 6 on Windows 2000 with my screen set to 1280 x 1024. I took a screen shot and uploaded it for you here: http://ramanda.diaryland.com/images/testthisout.jpg Hope this helps! nice work :) (r)amanda
from juniperhexum :
that's fucking badass! You should go with it
from cuffme :
I love it! Nice colors! ^_^
from rkwj1 :
I'm using an old computer at a movie theater that I work at. Win 98 with like 128 ram. It looks great on here. Awesome layout. Later,ROB
from mineirinha :
It looks FANTASTIC on Xp :)
from halfdevoured :
It's perfect! I'm using Windows XP and it looks great here. Is there no end to your talent? That's an amazing layout! Love it. Could use a funk bomb here or there though.
from usagiisgod :
I'm running Windows XP and it loaded perfectly well for me. As for the format, orginal and cool. Not much else to add.
from usagiisgod :
Well, at least Weezy really did move on up.
from halfdevoured :
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! Not Weezy! I loved the Jeffersons. And Sandford and Son. And All in the Family. Those shows were the shit. The Facts of Life, too. I had a crush on Tootie and Jo.
from mineirinha :
Yeay for you! :)
from koomaster :
Oh yeah, I know. Hence all the plans I've been making on moving out next summer with a friend of mine when she moves out.
from pandionna :
Congrats!
from pandionna :
Yeah, there will always be some fanatical morons in the world swearing revenge for something other fanatical morons did. I wish we could put them all on an island with nothing but their fists to fight with and let them live out their stupidity so that it doesn't affect the rest of us. Happy Sunday.
from groovespook :
As our pixilated hero from the 1 good of 3 films dedicated to himself would say "Woah". Get a new lease on life Mofo. or at least lease that part of life thats recordable in HTML. p
from la-blue-eyez :
I have voted so many times I lost count! Y'all rock!
from rkwj1 :
I voted a number of times. Good luck man! Later,ROB
from atomicbuddha :
Nooooooooo...don't leave us...I mean we understand if you have to but reconsider, maybe there is a way around that.
from rkwj1 :
I hear ya brother. You work your fucking ass off and that dumb uncle sam bastard take half of your cash. It Sucks! Oh well at least we can still listen to our favorite radio shows without the threat of them being taken off the air for being indecent. (Could you sense the sarcasm in that last sentance?) Viva La Freedom! Be Cool, Later,ROB
from rkwj1 :
Happy St. Patricks Day May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine upon your face. And rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of His hand. Later,ROB
from ramanda :
The real funny is that I work for a company called RIM (http://www.rim.com/) And yes, I do love my RIM job ;)
from ramanda :
Ha ha! See, it's all part of my evil plan. I lock up my diary and then if you want to know, you have to ask. Honestly though, you're sweet. As for joys and pains, it's been mostly joys of late. There's a new boy hanging around, I just got a 26% raise (no, that's not a typo) and they're sending me to California and then the Cayman Islands. . . for work! Everything's coming up (r)amanda. I hope all is well with you and the Mrs.
from leonmcphelps :
Well thank you, thank you very much.
from rkwj1 :
Hey thanks for adding me to your favorites. Chapelle is hilarious. Half baked rules! I run projectors at a movie theater as a hobby in New Jersey and Jim Bruer comes in occaisionaly to catch a flick. Hes a pisser. Not lterally a pisser,I mean funny. Just kidding. Your layout is cool. Later,ROB
from grillamusic :
Hey, answering your MOFO call to give a holler. I've been following the adventures of the Masked Mofo and Everoboto for a little while now. Sorry to hear about your garage, that is a damned shame and sounds like a stinkin' mess. Anyway, I hope you were able to save some of the contents of the Tetris'd (never seen Tetris as a verb, maybe I should get out more!!) boxes. Anyway, take it easy and if you keep postin' we'll (multiple personality disorder moment) keep readin'.
from faery-lights :
Though I should have said it a while back (uhmmm... *cough*), thank you for adding me to your favourites list. : ) Happy Valentine's day (ick) and, um, Robert Jordan is a good writer. I think I ought to reread (or should that be, um, re-re-reread?) the Wheel of Time...
from cuffme :
There. That's my Valentine's Day present to you. And my good deed for the day. I signed the petition. Actually, I suppose if it came out on DVD I'd have even more of a reason to watch it. (I've never seen Star Wars. Whoopsie..) ~Ger
from everoboto :
Happy Valentine's Day, my sweet love.
from leonmcphelps :
I agree. I am going to send him an email and get this thing together.
from leonmcphelps :
I see what you mean. I would like that to, but what I really want is the last 3 books made into movie starring Leon as the son of Luke Skywalker.
from leonmcphelps :
Thanks, but you know that your petition worked. The Star Wars Movies will be released soon.
from fargahar :
The same thing happened to us. Luckily most of the stuff in our garage fell into the category "Stuff we don't really need but can't bear to give away".
from leftunspoken :
Oh honey. I'm sooo sorry. I solemnly promise to never complain about the West Texas lack of snow again. I'll mail you my extra blow dryer and some febreeze immediately.
from trinity63 :
Dude! You so look like a rock star but I can't figure out which one!
from pandionna :
I say we replace "Kathy Cox" with "incredibly moronic individual with her head so far up her ass she can see out her ears." You think?
from madatmydesk :
"Hulk Smash Puny Nouns" has to be the best title for a diary entry ever. I liked the entry, too... made my day.
from sourballs123 :
Hey thanks i added you to my faverites. Thanks again!!!
from cuffme :
My thoughts on your garage (even though chances are I'll never even be in the same state) are that you should turn it into a recording studio/art studio. That's what my dream garage would be, as long as I had a space for my El Camino. ^_^ Don't turn it into a cat box!! Teach the cats how to use the toilet! Besides, with all the work you're getting done on the house NOW, pretty soon you might have the time to teach them that!
from sourballs123 :
Hi just because its the new year can you do a bitch who is on the verge of sucide a favor. Can you make a african american rign even if you arent black. I'm asking you this becuase no one has a ring like that I'm desperate. Can you do it so I won't feel even more depressed. I'm alreday going ot hell. Happy New Year
from atomicbuddha :
No, no...the honor is all mine, I assure you.
from cuffme :
Hey Mofo! Thanks for the note. You're right, suicide is not cool. And I'm going to take your advice and channel my anger into something better. At least I'll try. So anyway, hope you had a good Christmas, and have fun with your Airport Extreme and your new house! Thanks again for the nice note! ~Ger
from leftunspoken :
Merry Christmas sugar pie! You and the Sweet Lady wrap yourselves in a bow and have some eggnog or something. Seriously...wishing you both every happiness.
from mr-oaf :
You need to really calm down my friend. Just calm down. Good.
from atomicbuddha :
Honored and intrigued, thanking you, doing a jig (a small one, I mean I'm at work)...I am reading YOU now and when I deem it appropriate (as in, when it doesn't look like I'm just reciprocating to reciprocate, which I DO NOT do I must say) you will be honored with a place among my buddy list. Happy painting to you and your lovely wife.
from fargahar :
Thanks for taking my quiz! Isn't Baby Cat cute? :) Sorry..Just a proud mom.
from cuffme :
Happy Anniversary, bitch! (<--you are now deemed Eve's bitch.) Have a great day!
from sarasvati23 :
Happy Anniversary! And congrats on finally closing on the condo.
from kodachrome :
If Mofos = motherfockers, then Fafos = fatherfockers. Mofo is motherfock.., er, right? Or am I hallucinating? La reine and you make a stylish couple, it's a joy reading your pages. Ah, and good luck with the new condo.
from pandionna :
Howdy! Just popped on over from your lovely wife's diary to wish you many congratulations on the closing date! Woo-hoo!
from sarasvati23 :
You have no idea how hysterical I find that subjugation of human rights link, as I don't get paid for the goddamn overtime I work NOW.
from sarasvati23 :
Your guestbook ate my message: After that little link to the Morality webpage in your last entry, I thought you might find this amusing... http://www.4degreez.com/misc/dante-inferno-test.mv . Let me know where you end up, lol.
from lealoo :
Peach Schnapps and Amonia, eh? That sounds... flavorful.
from la-blue-eyez :
Hope you and your wife had a great Turkey day!
from cuffme :
Hey Mofo! Thanks for being so thoughtful ^_^ That's the nicest thing that's happened to me all night...er...day! Anyway, have a kickass Thanksgiving! \m/ ~Ger
from nokrstn :
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!! It was SO nice of you to send that to me!
from fargahar :
Happy Thanksgiving to you too!!!
from savecraig :
Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
from sarasvati23 :
Happy Thanksgiving to you, too!
from ramanda :
Thanks for the advice. And the Thanksgiving wishes. Except I'm Canadian and our Thanksgiving was a month and a half ago. But you and the Mrs. have a Happy American Thanksgiving :)
from leftunspoken :
To you and your beautiful wife as well, all my prayers and wishes for a year full of joy and peace. May love fill your hearts, may the world treat you gently, may life be sweet and full of wonder. You are both such special people. (And not special like the bus.) Love to you both. Happy, happy thanksgiving...Marcia
from golfwidow :
Thank you! And to you and yours as well! :)
from everoboto :
Happy Thanksgiving to YOU, my sweet, wonderful husband. Of course, I'm most thankful for you and our life together. (Yes, now I'm gushing over you on your own diary.) I look forward to eating that pecan pie in bed with you tomorrow as we watch The Two Towers on DVD. Love you, baby. xoxoxoxo
from abikuchild :
mofo, you are Vunderbar. and you've inspired me to give away vacation coupons at my site. anyone who emails me can go to vegas for 3 days and 2 nights for $30 bucks. nice hotels too. email me if you want one...
from lealoo :
ooh! ooh! *wavws hand in the air wildly* My little boy just LOVES Old Navy Clothes. hint hint
from la-blue-eyez :
I was always the person to keep "valuables" in my office. (That's what I always called them cause they disappeared as if they were gold and diamonds). I stopped when I started getting griped at for not keeping my office stocked!
from fargahar :
HA HA! I was the sucker at my office who always grabbed extra ketchup/hot sauces/napkins and always had people in and out of my office and some people would not even ask. Also I had lent my stereo to the office to make my job easier and then they got pissed when I quit and took it with me...can you believe that??? :)
from ramanda :
You're sweet. I figured the low cut shirt and the CONSTANT flirting was a sure sign. Perhaps not. I don't know that he's clueless so much as he's not interested. I think somewhere in the back of his pretty head he could be interested, but he doesn't think about it too much since he already has a girlfriend.
from abikuchild :
new graphics on the web ring? they are dope. in english that means i love em. ta!
from leonmcphelps :
Thank you for including me.
from leonmcphelps :
I love it. It is a lovely piece of art. It should be in a museum. Good job, and I am proud to have it on my diary.
from cuffme :
HI AL! ^_^ Best wishes to the healing of your hurty-ankle-thingie!
from abikuchild :
thanks for the heads up on the revolutions karma. i loved kill bill. i didn't believe in it, but quentin is the king of the unfathomable and he does it so Well. i was going to see both fliks on Imax @ the Luxor out here. Then I decided... not. All cuza u. Thanks again.
from sarasvati23 :
Hey, thanks for the note of welcome. My boyfriend and I are huge fans of both GoGo and the actress who played her. If you haven't already seen it, check out the film Battle Royale; she's in that as well.
from pushpull :
don't know you, but i'm obsessed with your wife. ok, not really, but she's great and she told her readers you were in pain and having to work really hard. so i hope you feel better soon and give 'em hell at work. later!

Hey pal, heard you injured your ankle -- you and Eve really need to stop having sex at the midget wrestling matches dude:) I hope you feel better soon!
from la-blue-eyez :
How could I not? You and your wife are great!
from everoboto :
To my sweet Mofo, I've come here to personally thank you (in an unpersonal forum, that is) for being the very first person to wish me a happy birthday and for making my birthday such a memorable one. (This seems to be a habit of yours already.) I love my gifts (especially that very last one *wink*), but my most cherished gift is the one you give to me every dayyour love. I love you!!!!!!!
from abikuchild :
mofo. i love your diary. i just read http://maskedmofo.diaryland.com/freakydeek.html - damn. what a story. i joined your webring, expressly to remind me to come back... and it shows me so much more i can do with my diary if i would just buckle down from running all these other three-ring circuses...

Oh was that YOU who took that train pic? GRRRROOVY!! That's a great pic! Have they told you about me getting them air time on a Dallas radio station? They are gonna ROCK Dallas!

Hey Mofo how about an actual entry! What's up with that silence?
from everoboto :
Baby, go read this entry from Pandionna: http://pandionna.diaryland.com/031002_25.html
from cuffme :
Don't worry, I didn't smoke it. :P I'm trying to get a better voice for metal, so I don't want to fuck that up by smoking cigarettes. Besides, I've seen him sneaking out of school during the break between classes to smoke, and freaking out when he couldn't, and I've seen what it's done to my grandpa.
from leonmcphelps :
Thanks for adding me as a favorite. I think today's entry put me past the jedi trials.
from discothekid :
congratulations man. seriously. that's really great.
from lealoo :
Wow, thanks for sharing that. I can't even imagine...

Thanks for joining the Dead Like Me Diaryring!

"Existance" is life. Your "Existance" means your still alive. You "exist". Not very demonic. I just think it has more zing than "Being alive".

Disco is trying to smooth things out with Masked Mofo so that when Edith leaves All In The Family, Disco can get a spot on Sanford and Son instead of getting stuck with Archie Bunker's Place.

Seriously Dave, I didn't mean that remark as a dig. I now know six people who have started diaries. It was seriously just a joke. Your diary is the goods.
from discothekid :
Hey Mr. Mofo, I own a Gazelle! Are you suggesting I become a prostitute? That was an inflammatory statement, sir. Also, when you say "nefarious activities" do you mean that you were going to ring someone's bell and run?
