When I watched DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE on SNL I notice they didn't have the energy that I usually feel from their songs. And their latest CD doesn't have the interesting lyrics that their early stuff did.
As of late my favorite performance of any on SNL would be MODEST MOUSE. It was like they found everyone they'd ever known to get on stage with them and their was a special energy in that.
Well, maybe those lyrics will get to you in the middle of a deep sleep or a cool riff will come to you while stirring a cup of coffee.
Which comes first the riff or the words?

I came across to your diary for the first time. I am glad you just had a mild concussion. It isn't something to mess with. I had a really bad one long time ago. I was fine for a while(maybe 30 minutes or so)My first sympton was going blind. I ended up staying at a hospital for a while but can't remember a thing about what went on in the hospital. It could have been worse. We both were lucky huh? Anyway, you have a nice diary. I like your template. :-)
