mildchild - just a note to let you know we all still love you here in Ohio. I was proud of you for sending a fathers day card to your dad. He cried when he got it. Did you get the card he sent to you - I think it was in August. He feels it is best not to call you at home due to the turmoil that always ensues so he decided to send you a card..He loves you very much and i hope someday you will mend fences with him. wouldn't god want it that way? My sister is 5 months pregnant. We just found out (I was informed at camp) that her baby has a very rare disorder where the kidneys aren't developed, and the fluid around the baby is very very minimal. The baby has a 99.9% chance of death. My sister is going to keep going to the doctors to have the heart beat monitored until it stops beating. If this happens, she will probably be induced and will have to give birth to a still born.
I'm asking everybody, if they would please, please pray for my sister, my family, the baby. I firmly believe that God can work miracles, and I am just asking for prayer for my family at this time. I'm praying that if it be God's will, the baby will live, and if not, for it to be a peaceful acceptance. I would really appreciate everybody's support and prayers.

Well I think the layout is cool...very simple...and it's black. So it's cool. :) I also said you were amazing because of what you said on the entry on 10-16 "I want to know if he is God-fearing. I would be heart broken to find out he is not. Not only because I care for him but becasue he doesn't know God's love." I find that amazing! :)

Just an observation, If I may be so bold... I think your heart is in the right place, but the truth is that we as His children will never live up to His standard completely. We are fallible, and untrustworthy little wretches. Paul realized as much in Romans 7. Our focus as His children should never be to worry about what other "Christians" are thinking about us, but rather what is Jesus thinking about us. If the latter is truly our focus, then the former will eventually take care of itself. Your light will shine through. However there will always be the "religious Christians" who mistakenly believe their calling is to judge others. In my humble opinion these people are modern day pharisees, who are so spiritually corrupt that they have lost their first love, and feel they have to compare themselves to others in order to feel better about themselves. The age old strategy of our enemy is to get us to take our eyes of of Him. One of the ways he does that is by pitting us one against the other. I recommend that you read 'The Screwtape Letters' by C.S. Lewis. I'm sorry to go on like this, but you struck a pet peeve of mine. ~Rick

We have a new review site and I would love to review your diary. Glad to see a young person seeking God's will. I'm trying desperatetly to get back on the right track for my daughter's sake and mine. I was raised in a very Christ-centered home. I did Bible drill; youth group; church camp; Church twice on Sunday, Visitation Monday night, Church Wednesday night, prayer group/devotionals before school, and any fellowships in between.
