I think it is better than riding that damned dirtbike that ALWAYS needs a new tire or new seat, or shocks. That gets expensive too. Shocks = $700. New seat = $200. New tire (will that be paddle with a rim? Or regular that only last like 3-5 rides?) = $100-$300. And let us not forget the 6 weeks off work that time he BROKE HIS WRIST. I still reserve the right to bitch about fishing. But let me get my fill of some fish first! ;)

And that Tookie stuff - pfft, I do not care how 'changed' you are, or how much 'better' you have become, you are in PRISON what choice do you have? I mean, it isn't like you have many options other than to be good, you have people guarding you and watching you all the time. You know, I think part of the problem - my problem, really - is that I'm new at this. I'm sure things will be better with time. Truth be told, I am lucky to have the step-children that I do. For teenagers, they are really wonderful and treat me well for the most part. I should count my blessings. Thanks for helping me to see it from a different perspective.

I think it's different after school, when they don't need as much help. I'm also sexist, in that I think it's acceptable when they're at least walking with friends. I just can't see having a 9 year old get ready, have breakfast, and then walk to school, all after her parents are gone. It seems like an accident waiting to happen. Anyway, just rambling. :)

Yeah someone compared it to 9/11. how those in the towers didn't shoot at the help and such. Difference is help was on the scene immediately and it wasn't the whole damn city. They weren't left to sit days. Had anyone in the govt. really cared they would have had busses to get them out when everyone who had money and a car were able to get out, not a week after sitting in sewage water. They knew about the levees, but they (fed govt.) pulled the funding to go toward homeland security. Some peoples oppinions make me so angry. They are just too self absorbed and influential! Sorry for the rant, lol Have a good weekend!

Thanks so much! The sad thing is that I probably have all I need for confining my things but I'm just not using things the way I should. I like the idea of the page protectors by theme for my stickers. Not that I have tons of those, but I can never find the ones I want when I want them. I have lots of the Iris brand carts that need to be reorganized but again, I'm not sure how. I had some metal cubes we used to use for the kids stuff that I just took back and am going to make into a paper rack. I'm hoping that will help and not hinder. I don't know what themes to put my stamps into or how to store the many skeins of funky fibers I have. I could go on and on but will spare you anymore. If you have any other ideas, I'd love to hear them. Thanks for your encouragement, Lei, I really appreciate it!

I'm not too overly worried... My son is very tall and has always had growth spurts where'd he get a big belly, then sprout up. I was just really surprised to hear that he weighed the same as me lol.... And feelin a little guilty this summer as well cuz with me at work all day, and Hubby working nights, he spends most days alone. Hubby is home but asleep and many of his friends have gone for the summer so he's been filling his boredom/loneliness with food and tv; not to mention with me working in a resturant, I tend to bring home supper far too often. But we sat down tonight, the 3 of us and talked about really getting serious about a healthier life style and I'm really excited about it. Whether or not it acutally happens; well now that's a whole other story.

No, I'm not taking anything for the anxiety right now. No matter how safe they tell me everything is, I will wait until the baby's born before I take anything. Even then, I'm not sure while I'm breastfeeding. It just depends on how awful things are, I guess. Last time I had PPD I nearly divorced my husband. So we won't go that route this time. I've only ever been on Effexor, and that just made me a prude with dry mouth. BTW, I HATE the dentist, too! And you made the right choice about the root canal. A root canal only lasts about 10 years, and then you have to get something done about it again anyway. Plus they are SUPERIFICALLY AWFUL, especially if you already hate the dentist.

Big Lots is cool. The bad thing about being over qualified is that they figure you're too good to be doing that job and you'll probably pack up and leave shortly after you begin. I always thought that was a bullshit excuse not to give someone a job but alot of times it turns out to be true. The over qualified don't usually stick around.

I think I zapped the main culprit. Read an entry from late June titled "Have You A Bridge to Sell Me Too?" My HIM spent several months undecided between me & his so-I-thought ex. Now its zero contact. Withdrawl I tell you.

Yea...going back will not only disprove the rumors, it does also show you're beyond the nonsense...the better person. Nothing, or no one (as he is), should prohibit you from progressing or prohibit you from any options (aside from the ever important and non-negotiable responsibility of parenthood)...especially when you know for a fact your conscience is clear. It throws it all into their faces and I know you'll receive nothing but respect for it. I love that. You know what that situation is all about and I don't believe you'd tinker with it further. It'll be a challenge, I'm sure...but, I know it's one you can conquer. I still vote- yea. And hey, the money's a perk too! :P
