from raven72d :
Please do get in touch...
from raven72d :
Do write here more often...
from raven72d :
I'll go take a look, clever leggy girl.
from raven72d :
I must read Body Shots.
from raven72d :
When do I get to see your writing?
from raven72d :
Merry Christmas, bella.
from raven72d :
Congrats on the promotion.
from raven72d :
Write and tell me about the scripts...
from raven72d :
I'd love to see a copy of your review.
from raven72d :
What comes after love poems?
from raven72d :
Love is a virus that kills... Love is an alien egg, nesting in one's heart, waiting...
from raven72d :
Tell me about your summer plans.
from raven72d :
Great photos of you at the-fey.
from raven72d :
Gorgeous new layout photo.
from aureate :
Please don't laugh at my lack of knowledge on the subject (as my comments could come off as quite ignorant), but I've always considered poetry to be conformed to the line-by-line format, while prose is poetic thoughts in paragraph form. Like poetry, it doesn't have to be confined to the laws of literature, such as complete sentences. A good example would be how Skinny Puppy writes their lyrics. I may be way off, but I'm throwing it out there anyway.
from raven72d :
I have missed hearing from you! Write soon!
from agitator321 :
Radical. Then I can teach you how to love.
from raven72d :
Joyeux Noel, girl!
from raven72d :
I'm vur' much looking forward to the film.
from raven72d :
What books have you been trying to read?
from revoless :
It amazes me that people feel free to come up and tell you to eat. You don't even strike me as that thin, honestly. Certainly you don't look ill. If you were passing out in front of them I could understand, but bleck. Morons. I'd be tempted to use the 'Stop eating, fatso!' comment to whomever said that next. Usually when people mention thinness it is because they're dissatisfied with their own weight. I get comments of that sort more than I'd like to, and I am, as you know, in no way skinny. People do seem to realise they're projecting their own dissatisfaction when they make those statements to a normal-sized person more often than when they make them to a legitimately skinny person though. Culture, et al. I look at alarmist 'Losing weight! Too skinny!' supermarket magazines and go... 'But anyone would look like that in that position. They're not terribly skinny. What in the...?' And yes. I get disgusted and rant. You have taught me well, maestro. I won't be having weddings or babies for around five years yet. Hormones, however, I can't be held accountable for. And I still hate babies. Kids are cute, but babies are... yick. Can I skip that part? All they do is puke and piss themselves. And that's all. Wait, no. I LURVE YOU!!!! That's all.
from raven72d :
I like thin girls. And I dislike weddings.
from agitator321 :
Haha, I love your comment about babies and weddings. Those are two things I never want to deal with in my life either...although killing babies sounds appealing.
from homerismygod :
god, that was hilarious. i am skinny too and hear it all the time. i never thought of it like that!
from raven72d :
I love your stories...and your entries.
from city-noise :
Thank you =) Sure, just let me know your email address & I'll send the password to you. x0x
from suta :
Hehe ok. I was just wondering ^^
from suta :
Hey, thanks for adding me. How did you find my diary? (btw....Kaori Yuki is indeed the greatest! ^0^ )
from raven72d :
Could I see a draft of the paper?
from raven72d :
I know what you mean. I don't really want to be married, but I envy people who are married/living together. You want to be...*asked*...and to have the social cachet of it all.
from raven72d :
As a potential date? You're bright, literate, and boyishly/coltishly sexy. You'd make a great date.
from raven72d :
That's true: all recorded songs, all photos-- they're reminders of the presence of death.
from raven72d :
Tell me how the Ellis reading goes.
from raven72d :
I think Ungirls are vur' intriguing.
from raven72d :
I've always been a big James Spader fan.
from raven72d :
I do try to always live my life like there's a director and a camera...
from raven72d :
Crystal pianos and "Frog and Toad"...a fascinating combination. And I'm a great fan of Milan.
from morganlight :
We were in Milano, Firenze, and Sicilia for varying periods of time.
from raven72d :
Where did you go in Italy...?
from agitator321 :
'Unattractive', my ass! You're dashing!
from morticon :
Hmm, you're a pretty chap, morganlight :) Have you yet thought about modeling?
from raven72d :
Congrats on graduating, lovely one!
from agitator321 :
Thank you! I agree 100%
from guitkoko :
Collide. The one by Howie Day. That one.
from raven72d :
Ethical v. moral... It's a good distinction.
from raven72d :
I need to have someone attractive think I'm sexually valuable in order to have the energy and self-confidence to write...
from raven72d :
Yay, Pen-Pen! He's vur' much an heroic penguin!
from raven72d :
So tell me about Nicky and Richie...
from raven72d :
I hope you can see winter stars tonight, Holly...
from agitator321 :
Yes, the world is magnificent!
from raven72d :
Happy Birthday, leggy one!
from aeka :
Hey, i locked my diary...but I've a password for you. I will be emailing it to you...
from raven72d :
We must drink Wild Turkey some night.
from agitator321 :
Join an artists' flat! We could be flatmates ^_^
from raven72d :
Hippies are...unattractive.
from raven72d :
The offer to be a voice for you still holds, Holly...
from raven72d :
If you phoned me, I'd talk while you drank vodka...
from agitator321 :
what have you been drinking, my friend?
from raven72d :
That's a haunting image...and yet deeply romantic.
from raven72d :
congratulations...
from guitkoko :
OH MY GOD! I am so happy for you and thrilled for you! Really. Have a blast with him!!!!!!!!!!!!!
from raven72d :
Pour out a large drink and then call me. I'm a voice that helps with coping.
from raven72d :
Everyone should have a small, long-haired dachshund.
from aeka :
Glad you enjoyed it--I was hoping all my readers would get a chuckle out of it...I know I did.
from agitator321 :
Haha, I thought you'd like it! ^___^ I'm glad you enjoyed how I visually interpreted the whole thing.
from raven72d :
Delicious areola and nipple in any case.
from raven72d :
I stand corrected. But she is so awfully reminiscent of Kate c. 1996...
from raven72d :
Good luck on the paper-- and the Welbutrin. And every time I go to your diary I lose myself in Kate Moss' nipple.
from raven72d :
Andrew Holleran... "Dancer From the Dance" is such a beuatiful book...
from raven72d :
excellent legs, great tattoos!
from raven72d :
Not Jagermeister-- but I'll knock back sake or Turi vodka with you anytime.
from raven72d :
I wonder if the Erotic Museum has a section on Catholic Schoolgirl Uniforms... I do like gyros rather a lot-- the pita-bread sandwich, not the navigational aid. But never, ever with tomato.
from agitator321 :
Send me your address and it'll be right on its way :)
from raven72d :
I envy you the shabu-shabu and the fun shopping... Daniel Johns! I'd forgotten about him... Do post the pictures!
from raven72d :
Call soon... Write.
from hamiltonian :
I was impressed by your quote of Franklin! Love your diary...
from agitator321 :
It's not so much that I'm 'afraid' of being attacked, it's that I view one response to terrorists better than the other. And personally, I think the 'war on terrorism' is about as valid as the 'war on drugs'. It's fictional and can never be stopped. It's also a self contradictory statement. It's more like a war on Islamic fundamentalism. Plus, the Ben Franklin quote you used really sparked my interest on the debate of whether or not we should suspend some of our basic civil liberties at a time of crisis. I don't think we're in crisis now and at a time of crisis we should still keep our rights. If we can't then we might as well be declared under martial law.
from raven72d :
Angel Sanctuary is brilliant... Thank you for that.
from raven72d :
I'm still hoping you'll call and read to me.
from raven72d :
I never read the last sentence first, though I will leave a book or film unfinished if I think the ending will likely disappoint or depress me. Now-- one of my goals in life is to sit with you over drinks and talk about books late into the night.
from aeka :
Yes and no, regarding what you wrote about the last line of books. Oftentimes, I too find myself flipping back to the last line of a book, because I believe that it conveyes a lot about the body of the work. However, the greatest pleasure that I receive from reading any book is to dive into the entire story only to be disillusioned with the last line. After reading the line over and over, it stays with me, mainly because of the disillusionment--I find that amazing. I think an example of that would be Joyce Carol Oate's "Garden of Earthly Delights", which is more character-driven as opposed to plot driven. On another note, I am diving more and more into your diary...perhaps it's now becoming an addiction. The content is always interesting, but what usually gets me is the manner in which it is expressed.
from raven72d :
I will be having Amazon send me Angel Sanctuary 1 & 2... I trust your recommendations. Do write soon-- letters are key.
from raven72d :
Tell me about Angel Sanctuary...
from godmoney :
got u thru aeka. always nice 2 probe in the mind of a fellow writer. real and enchanting, indeed.
from mistresslink :
oh...maybe i can find a transcript somewhere.
from raven72d :
No-- you're bright, fun, have excellent legs, and like Japanese pop culture. The camps aren't for you-- they're primarily for (Other, Younger)Males...
from mistresslink :
nah, i don't read a lot of manga. i feel the luckier of the two of us, though...better the devil than an elephant, i always say. :)
from aeka :
Well, I really enjoyed what I read whilst flipping back through your older entries. Not one ounce of pretentiousness--real and enchanting.
from raven72d :
Lovely new story.
from raven72d :
Komodo drago(o)ns are cool. One even bit Sharon Stone's ex-husband.
from agitator321 :
Wow! Now if only my floor was that interesting...*sigh* I guess I could try to refrain from cleaning it, seeing what happens as the debris piles on.
from darkfan1 :
I came across your diary and I hope you don't mind, I have added you to my favorites. A lot of what I read struck home.
from agitator321 :
preach on!
from raven72d :
Hmmm... I like the idea of differing gay and straight trigonometry...
from raven72d :
Edward Abbey, "Black Sun". Read it and tell me what you think. Do write soon, Holly.
from raven72d :
Tell me about Boards of Canada and Stereolab...
from raven72d :
Do write soon... And enjoy your vacation.
from raven72d :
NEET... Well, it's a fun term on its own... Though NEET is also a brand of leg/bikini area depilatory.... Have you read Emily Listfield's "It Was Gonna Be Like Paris"? Have you read "In the Miso Soup" yet? Meanwhile-- send many e-mails...and a letter or two...
from raven72d :
I like knowing that James Spader plays video games. And I hope you'll e-mail/write more. Where is the new tattoo?
from raven72d :
Did the photo arrive?
from raven72d :
Your postcard came today... many thanks! X is a band I aw once in my lost youth...
from raven72d :
Write me and tell me about the Gods on H thing...
from raven72d :
I worked in a bookstore all through grad school... Being on my feet all day was no fun, but I did love talking books all aftrnoon long... And-- Keith Jarrett. You should listen to Keith Jarrett.
from raven72d :
I was looking at your photo page... You do demonstrate how sexy girls in glasses can look... And you do well with leather hiphuggers, too.
from agitator321 :
Sure, I can remove the mustache no problem. Actually, I think he'll look better without it.
from raven72d :
I wanted to thank you for the book and poetry recommendations you've made. And I hope you'll e-mail/stay in touch.
from agitator321 :
yup, that's Seth in the backround. I considered Seth and Remus the prime factors in the story so I thought they'd work well together for cover art. I also thought'd I'd work in 'Extasy' (from The Last Song) since both have a Los Angelas root to them.
from raven72d :
Both as a novel and as a set of ideas-- it's just *wrong*. And how is CA life today?
from raven72d :
Congrats on the cool shorts-- you're tall enough to make shorts look really, really hot. Now-- "Battle Royale".Didin't you fiond something so depressing about it all?
from raven72d :
I do hope your depression lightens...
from raven72d :
"My eyes are a color called Fame"... I like that as an line. Very much.
from raven72d :
It's not about fair, it's about tactics. If girls are allowed to desire boys for their beauty, then I'll never have a partner again.
from raven72d :
Tell me about your writing projects...
from raven72d :
Everyone talks about CLAMP, but no one has explained CLAMP to me...
from raven72d :
I'll have to look for a CD. Did I tell you that my copy of "House of Leaves" arrived?
from raven72d :
Tell me about Luna Sea...
from raven72d :
Wuff! I do miss hearing from you.
from raven72d :
Remember-- jeans on androgynous girls should be ultimately low cut... And stay with French cuffs... Is Riki perfume anything like Bijan?
from guitkoko :
Thank you for my birthday wishes! heart, Koko
from raven72d :
Androgynous girls are always the sexiest-- e.g., Katherine Moennig on "The L Word"...
from raven72d :
I shall look for Nicole Blackman... Are you a fan of Laurie Anderson's spoken-word pieces?
from apparitional :
that was such a beautiful entry, and i love fog. and where do you get plum wine? i've only had plum wine sherbet at sushi bars.
from ghanima :
read your note to raven about House of Leaves. I LOVE that book. One of my all time favorites. Plus--I just found out my publisher is sending my first book to Danielewski for a cover quote! I get all tingly. Anyway. Hi.
from raven72d :
I will have to look for "House of Leaves", then. It sounds intriguing. Now-- Nicole Blackman? Look for Christopher Coe, "I Look Divine" and Emily Listfield, "It Was Gonna Be Like Paris"...
from raven72d :
"House of Leaves"... is that the new Allende?
from mistresslink :
yes, it really is. sucks a bit. and you have way more of a social life than i do...so be happy. :)
from raven72d :
Happy Valentine's day, girl.
from raven72d :
I always feel depressed at holidays (Valentine's, Hallowen, birthdays, New Years) that require parties or couple-dom.
from raven72d :
Be brave and adventurous, lovely one! And tell me how it all works out.
from raven72d :
I love the new layout! And literary characters have always been my real friends...
from agitator321 :
Sure, go ahead! ^^
from neuroticaa :
oh how many times that's happened to me. ♥
from apparitional :
i was looking at your livejournal (one degree of yoshiki separation!!) and you're beautiful. i don't think glasses can do much damage to that. smart, pretty, /and/ interesting puts you at the top 99% of people, so i wouldn't worry about overreaching either. and one degree of yoshiki separation!! heh.
from raven72d :
Ummmm... gomen nasai, but...your photos make you seem rather attractive. Despite Dorothy Parker's famous line, glasses are sexy on a girl, and as a notorious intellectual snob, eggheadish girls are sexy.
from raven72d :
You must get someone who has Showtime to tape "The L Word" for you!
from raven72d :
Look for a Japanese band called See-Saw...
from raven72d :
I adore Camus.
from wateryone :
oh oh oh! I love Amy Bloom (sorry for note-dropping) when I read A Blind Man Can See How Much I Love You... the whole world seemed to open up and then drop away. It started me on a few months of reading nothing but short stories... but no one is as good as she is.
from raven72d :
I always liked Oksana...and Art of Noise.
from raven72d :
Thanks for the Bloom info... Have you read Anne Carson? How is your week starting?
from raven72d :
Living inside "Violet & Claire" isn't a bad image.
from raven72d :
Loved the website photos...
from raven72d :
Your layout image calls up the Red Shoe Diaries episode "The Art of Loneliness"... And my own theme songs right now: Marianne Faithfull, "Falling From Grace"; Cowboy Junkies, "Sweet Jane"; Garbage, "Devil's Cross".
from raven72d :
Bret Easton Ellis and ecstasy, fallen angels and Japanese lit... (have you seen Tokyo Decadence?) I love your lists...
from raven72d :
Tell me about Kaori Yuki... And you're on my faves list.
from raven72d :
The photo and info at livejournal...most alluring. I hope you'll leave notes or e-mail ("Emil") me and talk about writing, about the novels and ideas.
from raven72d :
Six months... I envy and hate anyone who thinks six months without is a long time...
from apparitional :
sigh. my computer is in various states of unhappiness and AIM doesn't work. i’m thinking about North Hollywood/Burbank/Glendale since Griffith Park has a few stables, but really i'm open to anything. if you can think of any areas off hand that are interesting/close to interesting things / or just practical as far as walking distance to grocery stores and stuff, that would be great. i know i'm being horribly vague, but. any advice is very very appreciated.
from raven72d :
I like dried apricots...and Ryu Murakami!
from raven72d :
Thanks, girl!
from raven72d :
I loved Golden Palominos!
from raven72d :
Ahhha! What other theme songs have you had?
from apparitional :
i relate to everything in your last (january 8th) entry. except i've never heard Haze, but. beside the point.
from raven72d :
I loved your Story.
from agitator321 :
I found your latest entry very inspiring. You seem like you are leaning back and running with it and staring at the stars. You're 11, 16, 18, 22, a newborn. You're everyone, everywhere. With them. Without Them. Unbound. Lost at Sea. In Limbo. Ever Free.
from raven72d :
You, by the way, are a fun discovery here on the day after Xmas. I'll be reading here again.
from apparitional :
happy (belated?) birthday!
from apparitional :
yeah, why does california have to be so goddamn spread out? america is that way in general but i always notice it there, especially when i want to go to say san francisco. oh well. appreciate the sentiment though ♥
from apparitional :
assuming your profile location thingy is correct, you're in LA? lucky! it's my favorite part of socal and yet i can't remember the last time i was there not just driving through on the way to somewhere else. i am contemplating stealing a car and driving up the coastal highway from san diego, but that might complicate my future plans for government employment.
from apparitional :
thanks for signing my notes page.. your diary is beautiful - both layout and words.
from blindxdance :
Dude, your survey was awesome. If it's all right with you, I'd like to add you to my list. :D Us X fans need to band together or something. *makes Toshi-plushie dance for you*
from agitator321 :
Hey, morganlight. I'd love to talk to you sometime before I delete AIM off my computer for good. Just to chit-chat or whatever. Anyways, let me know when you're online. Peace.
from one-way-mule :
hey there, just wanted to tell you that your diary is very captivating and you are an excellent writer. much love, laurs
from cathexis777 :
Are you supposed to get over a grin like that? I think not. I've been waiting for that damn Violet UK release for a few years now. I wonder what took him so long.
from cathexis777 :
Good writing is definitely worth a marriage proposal. Too bad it's scarce lately.
from hermitude :
My new password combo is hermit/shell.
from cathexis777 :
wow, i really didn't expect people to read my drivel. ha... thanks, that's nice of you to say. i like my taste, it's nice that other people do too. if you don't mind, i'll add you back. :)
from eol :
you definatly get points for those things. and you get points for tuning me into x japan. :D i live in ohio, which is just a *wee* bit away from la... lol. namaste -beck-
from revoless :
Heh. ::thinks all figures can be attractive:: It's just different figures do or don't turn me on personally. Or at least that's what I normally mean when I say it. ::mwahs you and pinches cheek::
from revoless :
Would I be entirely wrong if the point I got out of that was, 'Wow. Poets know nothing of love'? Which I don't think is true, of course. But I don't think life conforms to poetry very well. Art tends to live in the world of exaggeration. Moments chosen for display.
from aureate2 :
Welcome back! We missed you ^_^
from hermitude :
Ignore my last note.
from lil-kender :
I noticed that you have Bump of Chicken listed in your list of artists. Very cool. Enjoyed reading your diary ^_^
from hermitude :
I locked my diary up, changed the password. I couldn't handle writing for people, I never could. I don't know whether or not I will let everyone who has me listed on their favorites back in, if anyone. I'm sorry. Maybe one day I'll start a public diary again. But until then, you can bet I'll be reading yours. :)
from blinkreviews :
Hello! Would you or anyone you know, like to have your diary reviewed? If so just read the rules and sign the guestbook at Blink Reviews.! http://blinkreviews.diaryland.com Thanks for your time!!!
from eol :
is that the one on your site about how he was the perfect orator? i read that one, it was brilliant, really amazing stuff. i didn't really understand alot of it, but it was still one of the most brilliant peices i've read on him. thanks for saying my little ramble about him was good. i meant every word of it. namaste -beck-
from hermitude :
"Instead of living, I make other people my life." I may not be an author but I know your last entry all too well.
from hermitude :
We're just part of a mass of people... there are more poets, artists and dreamers out there than meets the eye. Except you're certainly the more skilled of the poets. God, do I know what you mean about tragedy... but it isn't only tragedy that breeds art. Otherwise I would be self-destructing and looking for tragedy, trying to bring beauty back into my life(tempting). And I agree with the previous note about regular updates. Screw 'em.
from neuroticaa :
I don't believe in "regular" updates. I've learned the hard way that you can't force creativity.. I just update when I have something to say. Although sometimes even if you arent in the mood if you sit down and write without even thinking about it you'd be suprised some of the things that come out... but usually its just crap lol... so, yeah, moral of the story is go with the flow... <3
from neuroticaa :
very rarely do i lock my journal but once in a while i will -- username= neuroticaa, password=upthewall / <3
from hermitude :
Hi. I've been reading your diary for a while but I haven't started writing in diaryland myself until recently, so I figured now is the time to introduce myself and tell you that I love your journal and your short stories. Plus there's rockstar worship and TS Eliot. Just if you're curious, my username is hermitude and my password is walnutroof.
from neuroticaa :
<3
from angryquail :
Just checking up on everyone on my honesty diaryring...my mother, when she was a YA librarian, met Francesca Lia Block...I was so jealous! She described her as "bizarre".
from eol :
hey. i'd like to read that story! i'd have emailed you but i can't seem to get my email to send messeges, but i can recieve them. so if you want you could email me it riot_revolenola@yahoo.com namaste -beck-
from neuroticaa :
ah, i think i like you sometimes =)
from ayamatsumoto :
You added me! Yay! I just wanted to thank you for being everything you are to me. You understand me so well! And it's so Incredible! Thank you so much for bring such a good friend to me! From the bottem of my heart.. ~Stay ever free~ *Aya*
