Love to you love love love. It makes my day to see you back at the ole d-land ranch. No one says things like you. Yay for lichen, bitchin. XXXOOO. I'ma write you soon.
from brittania :
Of course I want help! Except that's too hard. I probably just want someone to drink with after class. But alas! Really, if you have assignment-y things that'd be awesome. I really don't know how to talk, though, for a 3 hour span. I think Elijah ate my PhD. Also: when's Ossie's birthday? XXXOO.
from brittania :
This will say "you're adding too fast" or something, but just so you know that I know: that last note was a bitch to read what with all the pronouns not knowing what they were referring to. Sorry about that. I will be meticulous next time.
from brittania :
Yay Ossie walking! Sorry about the family matters-- I didn't know how the land/house was all tied in, but maybe it won't be now. Maybe your brother and my brother ought to get together. My folks have spent tons of money on all the DUI stuff (3 of em), and you know, it could happen to anybody, I guess, but why act like it's just part of my folks' responsibility to get him out of shit? So, yes. I get the freeloading entitled stuff. If I were married to him, I wouldn't let him get away with that crap! (Sorry for the old hot-brother joke to reappear. But it had to, see.) XXXOOO. Love to you and First Step Ossie!
from brittania :
Ack, no. Fuck our bad days, our bad bad days. Thanks for the note--shit's hard as you know. Love to you. XXOO.

Hey, I e-mailed you, but it bounced back. Anyway, just wanted to say that the time you're in now is the loneliest time with kids. Once they hit preschool you will start to make friends. I call them Momfriends. They're not the same as regular friends, and you forgive them qualities you wouldn't like in friends of the mind and spirit, but they're not bad and they'll help you not feel lonely. Unfortunately, the weirder you are, the fewer you make. But even that is okay. All you need is one to start. It will happen--I promise.

I want the city apartment, too. And for the man to make the money (feminism!) so I don't have to do anything but precisely what I want to do. I also sometimes think if I just go sleep with my professor in New York, he'd leave me his Village Apt. in his will. Easy enough?! I salute you breast-feeder workers, too.
from mawm :
Hey sweetness. I'm sorry things are hard now. Give your attention to the baby and know that you *will* sleep sometime soon, just not now. If you get too tired, put the baby in the swing and turn it on slow. Do you have a swing? Put the baby in the swing and take a little cat nap. Just try little things like that. Take one moment at a time and get through that moment, and don't worry about what it will feel like later, when you're so tired you can't see straight. Don't get ahead of yourself. Just try to help the baby be more comfortable. Stay in the moment, and get through it, and pretty soon you'll come out the other end. I hope that doesn't sound like a load of touchy-feely crap. It really is the only way I know to deal with a fussy baby. I have more to say but it can wait for later.

update April 6, 2020: Sorry, we just had 8+ hours downtime due to a server problem. Restoring from backups took soooo long, but everything is back and no data was lost. Ay yay yay! Anyhow, hope everyone is well with the virus stuff.
