I love those shoes! xxx
from cera-jeanne :
belated congrats on your baby boy!! :)
from greenteacup :
:) true, true - you're very wise, I'll take up your advice. One of them has mentioned picking up something from a friend and not feeling great. I don't know if that's serious, or just something else. The risk is hard to judge.xxx
from raven72d :
good entries, fun writing...
from greenteacup :
Shock! It's fredlero. I'll follow you now :) xxx
from greenteacup :
Congratulations on your son :). I hope everything's alright. Take care xxxx
from goodluckgold :
hey I like ur diary and profile! comment back please! sammmy
from elliestuff :
good luck with your sister-in-law. really an adorable diary.
from myownjourney :
No. Still, "locked up" and also "juicy fruit" should work.
from greenteacup :
"To give a Hoot, or Not give a Hoot" just wins. I'd love to have something like that in my class. :] haha xxx
from myownjourney :
I've been having a lot of problems lately with diaryland. It hasn't been letting me update and now I have no idea why the page is missing... so... I put my last update on a page I've been thinking of changing my blog too anyway... http://rickyfarmer.com/myjourney/ sorry for all the red lights. :-)
from myownjourney :
Sarcasm is a good thing. I use it often. No worries. :)
from myownjourney :
It's ok. You have no idea how often I do that... :) I'll take it off if you want me too. And just so you know, I made that post about Canada after reading your entry and realizing I really should know more than I do... or at least pay attention more. I don't thin kyour a grossy josie. So far, all the Canadians I know are pretty cool folk. :)
from greenteacup :
Haha yeah, that was pretty weird about Richard Branson. I think they said cell phone sometime during the film, it sounded so awkward.
from greenteacup :
Fringe! :] Aha. Merry Christmas xx
from greenteacup :
Your last entry reminded me about High Fidelity. It's really interesting knowing about others favourite songs in a situation. xxx
from greenteacup :
Enjoy yourself at work :] it sounds more interesting than what I get up to.
from meganwaits :
very cool diary.
from vintagepearl :
Whoo! Gracias! Yo quiero hacer mas bueno. Hay estudiantes mas buenos que mi en los clases de Espanol. Tu hablaste mucho Espanol?
from vintagepearl :
Me gusta salsa. Tipicamente yo tengo nachos y tacos con salsa. Pardon. Yo estoy un poco feliz, porque yo hice bueno en mi final de Espanol. Ay ay ay ay!
from vintagepearl :
FREE BOOKSSSS. I'm such a dork, when I go shopping on school trips, I'm not allowed in bookstores because my friends know that's where I'll spend all my money, and I won't go anywhere else. And I've increased my cups of coffee per day to a minimum of three. Three to five now. All because of a senseless biology project. Eh.
from vintagepearl :
Oh dear, trampoline bouncing gone bad! Glad you're okay now. Trampolines are fun. Except when you fall of course.
from greenteacup :
Haha, thanks. The guitar is actually a paper clip. In Italy last year, I bought lots of colourful, shaped paper clips and now I wear them on my clothes. I love John Cusack's work, especially in High Fidelity. Have a great weekend xx
from vintagepearl :
That's what would be hard for me as a teacher: dealing with the smart ass children, such as teenage boys. They're pretty dumb, cool sometimes, but dumb.
from vintagepearl :
Heyy. What level would high school be? If I did go into teaching, it would be that level. Ah. Yes, I would teach English or Health, perhaps even History.
from breatheasigh :
hi :) i was wandering around the members area and your name came up so i clicked and read some..as for your last entry it was painfully slow as i have dial up and it kept stopping to buffer itself but it was worth waiting to see what antics ol tom is up to now..(i like alot of american stars (i'm australian) but can honestly say i've never been a huge tom fan)..thanks for the read :)
from vintagepearl :
Cuteeee!
from vintagepearl :
Nice . . . what classes did you have to take? And do you have to master every subject area to graduate, even if you're only going to teach on subject? I was thinking about teaching, I call myself a TIT - Teacher In Training because I spend so much time at school, and people call me smart, and I enjoy learning. Maybe, my future's still a little hazy, I'm more for the moment. Kudos!
from vintagepearl :
Coool. I'll have to check it out online before I go there when I travel the world. Are you teaching now?
from vintagepearl :
I want to go to Qatar. Do you like teaching?
from misspinkkate :
That's my goal- illiteracy for all!
from misspinkkate :
No one wants to see me do crotchless crunches.... it just ain't right. Bad dog, bad dog!!!
from greenteacup :
Merry Christmas and happy new years. I hope that you'll have an amazing time.
from bluperspex :
a merry, merry to you - may it be blessed and utterly fabulous!
from misspinkkate :
He's my Gaysian superhero! Hopefully I'll see him today, since I'm leaving work on time :-D
from greenteacup :
Happy birthday. Best wishes~
from greenteacup :
hello. Thank you for the favourite, much appreciated. Hope that you're well. Take care xxx
from sisterbert :
I think as long as you don't go all floppy-wristed and play the eye-contact game it will be better than nothing. And too, I never gave it much thought until I had mine reveiwed.
from bluperspex :
i love crayola!!!
from misspinkkate :
She was feeling bad because her bf's father told her at work she'd never be a reporter, and instead of acting like an adult, she went with her bf and the two of them stole somebody elses boat and rode around in it. I don't even know how you do that, since I assume you need keys for a boat, but whatever. So now she has to do community service. Barf.
from misspinkkate :
Thanks- I'm feeling pretty good, considering the last few weeks were so shitty that I'm already over a lot of the pain. I'm sure I'll survive!
from bluperspex :
aha... to gawk at the likes of jude law... i hear you.
from misspinkkate :
Seriously, I wish I would get punished with home confinement- it sounds like fun!
from meli-melo :
I only locked my diary because I am not using it any more. You can find me here now: http://www.livejournal.com/users/meli_mello/
from misspinkkate :
Thanks for adding me to your list of favorites!
from megxstar :
love the diary, im from toronto too. you're on my buddy list <3
from neva4getme :
Online photo development is awesome! Walmart got them printed for you in two days though eh? Try Future Shop, I got 76 pictures processed in about 2 hours at the Heartland Centre location.
from myownjourney :
Opinions are a good thing. I have a few my own now and then. ;)
from myownjourney :
Hi, I just came across your diary today and enjoyed it, even though i disagreed a bit now and then with you.(: Hope you don't mind if I add you to my buddy list. If you'd rather i didn't, just let me know. Thanks - Ricky
from meli-melo :
The Greek Lentil Soup was from the ReBar cookbook (which is a restaurant in Victoria but you can get the book at Chapters). It is greek because you use a lot of fresh oregano, rosemary and lemon juice. Oh, and then you add feta cheese afterwards. It was really good.
from mynotetoself :
Thank you for your note!! It was a rough few months, but I think the worst is over now and I'm back for good... Thanks again!! ((hugs))
from teendesigns :
Yes, there are some design sites that offer mozilla-friendly designs. Vainpeach Designs (http://design.vainpeach.com/) is one of them. Also, some of the templates on this designers site (http://lizard.hiptobeasquare.com/about.php) look good in almost all browsers. If none of these designers seem to work, you can always check out the designers listed at beautify (http://beautify.diaryland.com). Hope this helps!
from blackskirted :
Yes, let's be friends. Hurray!
from blackskirted :
You are endearing yourself to me more with your survey answers, but what pushed me over the top was the title of the entry. sniffle. You had me at the Family Feud reference, alright? You had me at the Feud.
from sisterbert :
Ann Coulter makes me angry beyond all reason. Please, someone dig a hole and throw her in it.
from blackskirted :
I've got to tell you, you seem so fun. I really wanted a "YES" button for today's list. I'm extra pleased to know that you are also about to enjoy the new episode of "The Apprentice." (though that's clearly a less esoteric treat than triangle-shaped sandwiches) Hurray!
from coach-teatwo :
I keep my diary locked because i don't really want my friends to read it. I have another one that is unlocked though.
from peasantwench :
I remember the turtle game! It was stupid. By that point at home we had WAY better computer games, because my parents were ahead of the curve like that.
from peasantwench :
The leek is basically just a sweeter onion, so if you're starting your soup by browning some onions, it's practically the same thing.
from sisterbert :
I am defending the gift cards, on the front that I am a poor college student, and getting a $20 card to a grocery store is so much nicer than some frilly trinket that I don't need and that takes up space. It's following with the whole consumption theme with Christmas in the most complete way you can! Hooray! Well, maybe not hooray, but regardless. My mother does not have a congruent taste in music. Nobody EVER buys the right coffee. And don't even get me started on art supplies. What else is there? What it boils down to, I suppose, is that I'm a prat who is very particular but also practical in what I have or receive, so for me it's always best if people get me money for somewhere. And it's much better to go the gift certificate route than to just hand me money, because knowing me I blow it all on coffee.
from stereogirl :
So many times I hear that people didn't like a book because they had to read it for a course (particularly Can Lit ones) - and yeah, he does go on a bit, for sure, and it's episodic, not as plot-driven as MacLennan or Ross, who I like more. Buckler is like James a bit - you have to sit down and experience him, and that can be a drag...
from silverbiker :
i love shopping for cheap stuff! hehehehe!
from peasantwench :
They are gorgous cards!
from coach-teatwo :
thanks for the advice! I have it working a bit and you can read it better now :D haha thank you again
from peasantwench :
http://www.bellayou.net/links.htm Here's a start!
from coach-teatwo :
Hey! I got your note! I'm just attempting to fix my template :S i'm not very good at this and i need to find a host for the pictures. i'll let you know when i have it up though :) thanks!
from peasantwench :
Happy Birthday!
from sisterbert :
Mm, short hair's the way to go my friend
from sisterbert :
Oh, if only I could transport coffee through the internet...this is some GOOD STUFF. mmmm.
from sisterbert :
I still think it would have been great to have a math class taught in sign language. At least then I'd have an excuse. "How could I have LEARNED anything? I didn't SPEAK THE LANGUAGE!"
from withkerth :
the simpsons used to be waaaay funnier hey? Or maybe it never really was funnier but we've gotten funnier so it's not so funny anymore? regardless, I agree with what you said.
from monkie-pals4 :
i went back to the site, and the rules say that you have to sign the guest book sayiong u r using the template, but that takes u 2 the diaryland error page, so i looked around and found where to leave notes and left one there, so now it may work
from peasantwench :
The only baking I ever use exact temperatures for is candy making. I have never used anything other than "lukewarm" water and I've never had a problem. Good luck!
from leonmcphelps :
And what is that supposed to mean? "Someone who has invested a lot of energy in something to make people gawk". You make me sound like I am totally shallow and concerned with nothing more than my looks. Thanks for noticing, I do appreciate it. But I do assure you there is more, there is a deep side to Leon too.
from peasantwench :
If you're using traditional yeast, which is the only one I'll use, you add ~.5 cup of water to a bowl, sprinkle in a T of sugar or honey, and then add the yeast. Then you either let it sit for 10 minutes, or still constantly till disolved, depending on the recipe.
from monkie-pals4 :
never mind.
from monkie-pals4 :
*sniff* the picture on the new template will not show up anymore. i have to find a new one. AGAIN!
from monkie-pals4 :
thank you.
from monkie-pals4 :
look i got an even cooler new template, because ive experimented so much that im pretty much an expert at changing them now.
from dawnlouise :
Just a note to say thanks for giving me the old link. I've linked back to you also. Cheers! Dawn
from monkie-pals4 :
yeah, i found y current template on someone else's diary and they gave extremely detailed instructions and even have pictures of where to put things that you copied. i also feel your pain about losing that ntry, it happens to me all the time. :-P
from monkie-pals4 :
where r u?
from monkie-pals4 :
SORRY!!!!!!! they just put a thing in the change the template area that has one i like on it from the site. i am sincerly sorry for all the questions. truly :-(
from monkie-pals4 :
sorry for asking more, but where IS the script? i dont get it
from monkie-pals4 :
do i copy the image or the web address and do i paste it to the end of the template or what? i am confused.
from monkie-pals4 :
but could you give me the name of where you got yours or some other site? sorry for bugging you.
from monkie-pals4 :
thanks girl!
from monkie-pals4 :
1 more thing.. could u leave me a note telling me how to change the background in my diary? thanks girl
from monkie-pals4 :
hey u are really cool and i am happy for you that you got married! keep it real
from meli-melo :
I'm not trying to start a fight here but what about people (man and a woman) who get married with no intention of having children? Wouldn't that be considered a dead end too? I know lots of people who are in love but don't want children and I don't think that everyone needs to have children because some people just wouldn't be good parents so do you think that they don't deserve to get married?
from zakcula :
Man, politics is fun. Why did you erase your notes? I wanted to talk about this quote. "It is my right to have marriage defined as male and female union. My right has been taken away. If gays would like to get married, then thats their choice but create a new word that better defines their union." Back in the 30s I guess it was your right to have black people sit at the back of the bus too. It just sounds like that. It sounds crazy to me. We should meet some time for coffee and have a good talk about all this.
from peasantwench :
Yay! There are smart people in Ontario. I was beginning to wonder. The West would welcome your political views back. Obviously. Look at the map. How can people buy the Liberal Lies AGAIN?!?! Was 11 years of broken promises not enough?
