well, it's not so much that things are bad, it's just that i'm on the inevitable quest of coming to terms with my adulthood. being 20 is different than being 16. and part of adulthood, for me, at least, seems to entail getting cat feces on my apparell. i was probably being careless, i don't know. volunteering sucks but i can't give up. lol, it takes me to turn such a self-less thing into something so self-absorbed. what about you, stuff is well?

I lost the baby at the end of February. Same thing happened as the last time, so now I'm on more birth control than anyone should take until I can get insurance and get my tubes tied, and I may still take the pill for reassurance. I can't go through that again. I would love to update more, but I pull 50-60 hours a week at work (by choice - it's the only way to make $8.50/hour go anywhere) and I don't have my own computer. I will try to do better though. I promise. How have you been? I'm obviously way behind.

The ALF is pretty selective...after doing that alien TV show in the 80's ;). They tend to work in labs and find cases where they feel they're most needed. I read an article about a lab in Maryland that was injecting lab monkies with AIDS. Pointless since monkies carry HIV, it doesn't kill them. Said lab was also paralyzing the animals just to fund grant money. There are always some wack jobs out there, I just had an issue with CNN calling them "terrorists." I don't even care to debate right or wrong--I just think we have much better candidates walking around for that title than a group of idealistic vandals. Glad your job is going well, I'm very happy for you :). -B-

The day of the blizzard/ice storm last December was my first day at airline #1. I scraped ice off my car for an hour, slowly drove to the airport, help two old ladies push a car in the parking lot, and still got into the terminal with a few minutes to spare. I triumphantly raced up to security, grabbed the laniard around my neck and looked down to see an empty hook--no employee ID!! I had to call in, it was horrible. After getting everything straightened out and rescheduled and waited an hour for the bus back to the parking lot and the piece of crap ID was lying below my car door! Tomorrow will go better :). -B-

I am not that knowledgable about the frigid weather in greenland, so I am not sure how much this will help you. But, I am a product tester & I recently product tested the new Energizer e2 Lithium batteries. They are made specifically for electronic gadgets such as digital cameras. Betty Crocker mix made cookies ARE homemade! Don't tell, but I don't make gingerbread from Scratch (pie calls this 'from start'), I use a mix and no one is the wiser. Just hide the box. Muwahahaha. When that song made it big a second time because of Wayne's World, I was a teenager and back then my neck was apparently more agile. That's funny because that playground I pictured was a total volunteer project too...but it's within a state park that parking has to be paid for...I assume that has to weed out the kids that parents don't watch. My mom's church has property next to it that was sold to a co op thing...people that used to be homeless or people that have low income. The kids used to come tear up the playground the preschool at the church built...but once her church reported that stuff, the co op came down heavy handed. That was cool...that they took responsibility in that way.

We don't know the exact date but we're looking at 3 years from now, once he's done with college. Now, keep in mind that he is an "online relationship" and I was very lucky in the regard that he's not a stalker or anything weird. He is different in person though. It could have ended up much worse, but I was very safe about the whole thing when we met. I've never met anyone from diaryland, although I've known people that I've brought to diaryland from other places. I think the difference in that is that they're pouring out their souls in the diary but if you meet them on some other forum, you're not as likely to read their true feelings unless it'd be on one certain subject (say you join a group for foster moms on yahoo.. you get to know the foster mom side of them but the rest gets left out.) I tend to be very shy and withdrawn, and smile and nod a lot when I first meet people, so I guess that's where I vary between real life and internet me. When I have the safety of my computer to hide behind, I'll talk to pretty much anyone that's not seemingly sick in the head. lol
