Hey! *hugs* Thnx for all the hugs... :) I got your letter a few days ago *blush* and sent off a letter yesterday! *beaming* Yeah,i just happen to no a LOT of girls online that are anorexic, and these "pretty poison pictures" sent me a bit over the edge. There's no way I could even ::doubt:: His existence anymore... There are way too many incredible things that have happened in my life!! Read some of my entries about camp, for instance. And He has spoken ::audibly:: to me, more than once. I seriously don't think it's that God doesn't care about you anymore - He ::made:: you after all! It may be that you're going down the wrong path and the further you go down that path, the harder it is to hear Him speaking to you (audibly, or just in your heart). Your conscience gets quieter and quieter. And, let's face it - sometimes, God is quiet. But He never sits back in a trying situation and says, "I wonder how ______ will do on his/her own! Let's try it and see!" No, He's with you all the way - all you have to do is put your trust in Him... and yeah, this sounds hypocritical coming from me at this point. But don't get me wrong, girl - through all this misery and depression and cutting, I have ::never:: lost my faith that God exists. There is absolutely ::no way:: that could be true - and it scares me to think about what life would be like if there was no God. If you have doubts about the reality of Jesus - or the truth behind whether or not He was deity, read Josh McDowell's ::More Than a Carpenter::. Seriously. Pick it up and read it. This guy set out to prove that Jesus Christ was ::not:: God and was just a "good man" - if He even existed. The book travels through what he found out along the way... Or if you have doubts about the validity of the New Testament, you absolutely ::must:: read Lee Strobel's ::The Case for Christ::. He, too, was an atheist - and a newsreporter at that! So he went to the best in the world at archaelogy, theology, interpretation of Greek, and other branches of highly renowned scholars to find the truth about whether the New Testament is fact or fiction - heavily debating it with the very arguments people use every day to say it's distorted and false. So check out those books, most definitely. I think they might help you build your faith up again... I really hope you do.
