Oh, and I just want to say that I find it really stupid that people are dooming your relationship with Kristina just because it's long distance. These days, sooo many relationships depend on texting/msn/etc anyway, even if the couple live near each other. I think many of these relationships are like this because technology is making up a bit...socially awkward? Bad phrasing. So in a way, I think you two probably have a better relationship than many others because you actually cherish the time you spend together. But of course it's plainly obvious I don't know all that much about your relationship so this is all assumptions :) Oh, and my friends boyfriend moved faaar away and she only saw him once for the whole of last year and they are still really committed. So who are they to say long distance doesn't work? I hope you have fun with Kristina :)
from nerimon :
omg fizzypop, what's your deal? Do you just hang out on my notes page? No, I'm not at all thrown. I'm sick of all this, you can all say what you like. Your opinion doesn't mean anything to me. It's clear that you're not somebody who respects reasonable intelligent debate, so I'm not going to waste my time with you.
from kketchum :
I finally remembered my login and can leave you a note ^^ I don't know what to say...have a nice day Alex...Day. :D
from fizzypop1 :
Go on nerimon, answer tylerdurden9!! Or has somebody finally thrown you?
from tylerdurden9 :
Sorry, that message was originally broken into paragraphs. Apologies for it being hard to read.

Alex, as someone who has read your entire diary from beginning to end Id like to venture a comment on your present attitude to people leaving feedback. This is meant just as a thought, not an argument any particular way, so feel free to take it or leave it as you wish. I have noticed that you are someone who has often actively sought and solicited comment, not only on various projects of yours but also on some aspects of your life. Indeed, sometimes you get annoyed when you dont get the amount of comments or feedback that you expected. You are delighted when a comment supports a view or you hold or course of action you were preparing to take. However, when a comment doesnt seem in line with your particular way of thinking you are often highly critical of that comment and spend some time dissecting it and tearing it to shreds. For someone who professes interest in feedback it is interesting to see how often you apparently devalue and disrespect the opinions of others when not in line with your own. Sometimes this is done for humorous purposes, as was done on VLR. Other times it may be because a comment implies a particular criticism of you. Other times, it seems, you just arent that interested in comments at all (case in point your video Fiction Inspiration, where you invited people to post with their own fictional inspirations, but then admitted in your diary that you hadnt bothered to read any of the comments. If you really didnt want to know the answer, why ask the question?) You often feel that people dont understand your viewpoint, or are disrespecting it, but the way you dissect and pull apart the views of others, particularly in your diary (though not as common nowadays as it once was) arguably reveals a certain disrespect towards those views as well. Often there are a number of different ways of looking at an issue and a persons opinion is just that, an opinion that is neither right nor wrong, its just a viewpoint. Having been petulant and dogmatic myself at one point I have grown to learn that often we gain the most from being more open to other people and more prepared to consider their views, and how two conflicting opinions can sit side by side without either one being necessarily stupid or mental. If the comments that people leave are annoying you this much, perhaps you need to think about why you solicit comments. If you choose to enable comments in your videos; if you choose to enable diary notes; indeed, if you choose to make your diary publicly available rather than keep it private as the vast majority of people do, you choose to open yourself up to a certain level of public scrutiny, and to receive . This is even more so if you actively solicit comments from time to time by asking What do you guys think?, which encourages people to enter into your life and provide you with feedback. It seems to me that you do enjoy such interaction and are very happy to have it when it seems to agree with you, but are often annoyed when comments displace your particular view or opinion of the world, to the point that you get angry with people who are just giving their own views. A common complaint of yours is that people dont know the whole story. Very true, but by the same token you cant blame them for deriving their opinions from the portion of the story that you have chosen to share with them. Every course we take has its pluses and minuses. A careful reading of your diary shows that you have a desire to establish yourself as a brand. You think carefully about how you time your videos, what the content should be, how you arrange your projects to fulfil your aims, which seem to be to be able to earn enough money off your own creativity and projects which you enjoy to live comfortably. Nothing wrong with that, but the course you have chosen (of courting a cult of personality which will help you earn a living in the way you desire) brings with it its own potential negatives you get fans, fans all have opinions, fans want to interact with you, and not all fans will agree 100% with everything you say or do. Such is the penalty that is paid by those who choose a livelihood that depends on maintaining a certain celebrity image. In some ways you remind me a bit of the guitarist Robert Fripp, who has played in a number of bands but often seems to detest his fans and enters into long written diatribes on how certain people dont appreciate his music in the proper way, and how loathsome it is that people approach him wanting to be photographed with him or get his autograph. No, youre not exactly like that, as you are a lot more forthcoming in your interactions with your audience, but the commonality is that you are discovering the more unpalatable side of celebrity even celebrity on the extremely limited scale afforded by YouTube. I suggest that, if these comments do offend and hurt you so much, you should think about the reason why you choose to allow comments on your videos; why you use Twitter and Dailybooth; why you choose to keep a diary that is available to anyone to view on a public website rather than just as a file on your personal computer; why you choose to enable notes on your diary. And you have to realise that in making each of these choices you need to acknowledge that there are consequences in the way the public will react to these things which will not always be the way you think or agree. Im not saying you should stop doing any of these things, just suggesting that you recognise that you cant control the behaviour of the general public. If you allow someone to use something in a particular way theyll do so however they choose, and sometimes it will be in a way that annoys you. But thats one of the costs of the choice you have made. Anyway, I am just throwing this out there as a thought for you. Take it or leave it. You may well disagree with it. Thats cool. It is merely my intention to offer some constructive thoughts and not to engage in a debate, so I wont put up a contact address. I have made my choice, for my own reasons.
from modernally :
First off, I'd like to say that I know we aren't friends, and therefore I won't comment on your relationship except to say that I think you and Kristina are both lovely people. Now, when you mentioned locking your diary yesterday, I got worried. I really love reading about what you're up to (well that sounded creepy...), and what you think about things in a medium other than YouTube. Don't get me wrong; your videos are great and fun and full of lulz, but I love hearing about how Skyers is going or what you think about Valentine's Day and the weirdness that surrounds it. Anyway, I really just wanted you to know that, while I'm and internet person/fan of yours, I don't spend my days thinking about your relationships and whether they'll work out (to be honest I don't care. It's not affecting me). Mostly I like reading your great rambles on here. And I hope I'll be able to keep enjoying them despite people like rob1988. -Ally p.s.: my email's [email protected] , on the off chance you wanted to respond.
from dannyreddy17 :
Hey Alex, Can't wait 'till your album comes out, and your book! Cya!
from cambridgejak :
Alex, I would be honoured if you emailed me at [email protected]
from robobree :
I wish you were with the person who makes you happiest. Here's hoping you'll find some peace soon :)
from nerimon :
cambridgejak I actually really like what you said and wanna respond to it, you're wrong about me but I'd like to explain why :p Not in my diary though, I'm sick of constantly justifying my life in there. So please, if you see this, hit me up an email address or turn on your notes feature. (Damn, how many more times will I have to say it to people before they start doing it)
from nzaussiegirl :
um.... so how bout that ebola virus? I'm with partyweetow - HP trailer looking pretty sweet... can't they bring that release date forward...
from nerimon :
cambridgejak - I can't reply unless you give me an email address or turn your notes on. Geez, how many times.
from cambridgejak :
Alex, I have been reading your diary updates for some months now with increasing consternation. I'm here to say that I think you're wasting your life. You don't appear to be advancing your time on this earth, both intellectually and progressively. You are capable of so much more, I believe, and I can extrapolate this fact simply by reading your incredibly powerfully introspective and philosophical diary entries. Sometimes I even find it difficult to comprehend your thought processes, and I attend one of the best universities in the world. (Then again, I've never been great with philosophy.) But I feel like wrapping my hands around that scrawny neck of yours and throttling some sense into you. Where do you imagine yourself in twenty years? What will you be doing? Comedy? Music? Writing? YouTube videos? I can't see you doing any of these. You're a fan of Ricky Gervais; I visualise you as a skinnier version of his character David Brent, perhaps working as a travelling salesman, or maybe stuck in a dead-end office job, all the while wondering where it all went wrong. I will now list why you are doomed to failure if you continue ambling along these current paths: 1) Comedy - you're a funny guy, very much so, but you're no Russell Brand or Jonathan Ross or Jimmy Carr. You have mentioned before that you attempted stand-up, but you did not enjoy the experience. I'm sure you're acutely aware of how competitive the industry is. Which is very much the same for your other endeavours; 2) Music - Again, a challenging industry to crack. Your lyrics are interesting, but unmemorable. Your tunes are catchy, but forgettable. Who will buy you album? Do you believe you appeal to a wide audience? Or just YouTubers? Isn't that facet of society rather limited? More on that later. 3) Books and writing - have you been into Waterstone's recently? Have you seen the thousands upon thousands of books for sale, each one desperately vying for our recognition and approval? 4) YouTube - you rely upon this website so much. So tell me Lord Alex; what happens when YouTube dries up? When attention shifts to the latest video sharing website? Don't tell me it won't happen. Did people think Facebook would ever topple MySpace? No. I didn't. The Internet is so fickle, and many forget this. If YouTube dwindles, so does every project you channel so much effort into. You are relying upon YouTubers to buy your album and your book. Oh, and I had forgotten about Chameleon Circuit. Are you genuinely serious about it? There has been no promotion, no announcement of a release date, nothing. What happens with Liam and Chris finish university and move on? What do you do best, Alex? I can tell you that. Thinking. You are an extraordinarily intelligent individual, but you're GOING TO WASTE!! Please, for the love of God, go to university. Then you'll have a degree to fall back on if your creative side fails you. (Which it will, eventually. Our creativity tends to shrivel up as we age.) I'm sure both your current and ex-girlfriends would be able to tell you this. Hell, you can work on your album/book/whatever while at university. Obviously you can just turn up your nose at my advice, but you seem to me to be somebody who lives only in the present and never seems to think about long-term aspirations, or their future. If I have at least made you think, then I have done my job. Yours faithfully, Jack.
from x-sarah-x-29 :
You want to read Nietzsche again? How about we swap? I'm being forced to. =P Darned synoptic and it's hardness. Although, I do love most of his views, so thats alright. Free Spirits? YEAH. =]
from partyweetow :
So, I'm gonna change the subject and ask if you've seen the new HP trailer. I thought it was really good! The moving looks to be shaping up to be much better than OotP, which is a high compliment. ^_^
from jordonsatori :
Interjection of random jargon: A good portion of people assume that others believe the same way they do. It's called the false consensus effect. This particular example--assuming that a long-distance relationship will fail based on personal experiences--is an availability heuristic. They're basing their logic on the only example they know. It doesn't seem harmful in that context, but if I were in an all white town except for black man, who ended up being arrested for theft, then I would be a terrible person to use that only example as the only evidence. I used that example because I believe that the availability heuristic highly possibly (probably) manifests itself as such in rural and suburban America; probably the rest of the world. To be fair, though, even the most different people are 99 percent identical in DNA. Not all assumptions are arrogant and with malicious intent. People assume that they're like them because they, fundamentally, are. Are you an upright primate with a highly developed brain?
from littleradge :
Now you see why I love her? :)
from tikken :
I feel like I need to put my two cents in, partly because a few people have insisted on bringing me up, but also because Alex has been my friend for a long time & I think Kristina is wonderful. Alex & I have both moved on from the past & I'm very happy for the two of them, and - to be frank - I'm pissed with some of the stuff people have left here. Would you do this to people who are friends of yours? 'S'cuse me, I know you're happy & everything, but I don't think you'll last lol'. NO, because it's both horrible & flawed; how can you say with complete objectivity that any relationship will definitely not work? And these people aren't even friends of yours; you're even less qualified to comment on the situation because, despite what you might like to believe, you know very, very little of it. Having an opinion is one thing, but to go out of your way to formulate what you think is an objective view on the relationship AND tell them about it, in such blunt & hurtful terms ... I guess internet anonymity is nice because it removes the risk of you being punched in the face for being so goddamn ignorant. TL;DR version: it's their business & not yours, so fuck off.
from nerimon :
HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY - give me an email address, or turn on your notes feature, SO I CAN WRITE YOU BACK. Fuck. I didn't post the whole message in my diary because I'm sick of doing it, and I would tell you everything in email or notes but you haven't listened so I have to write it here. And no, I'm not worried by the fact you're drawing from experience. It's completely idiotic to assume that because you didn't have the will to make your long-distance relationship work, that it's the same for everybody on the whole damn planet. I MADE THIS POINT IN MY DIARY ALREADY. I hate repeating myself. And plus, you said you weren't seeing him for months and months at a time, whereas I'm seeing her at least once a month (AS I ALREADY SAID). Lastly, I'm shocked that you're not going to apologise and can't understand for what you said about Kristina. You're a genuinely horrible person, and you can't even understand what you've done wrong.
from penydreadful :
fizzypop1 Just because it happened to you, it doesn't make it a given. You can't imagine that every long-distance relationship will fail because yours did. That's utterly ridiculous. You're entirely different people, they're entirely different relationships. They're happy, please leave them alone.
from fizzypop1 :
I am deeply offended that you didn't include any others part of my comment. You failed to mention that I was talking of your relationship with my own experience in mind. Why is that??? You concentrated immediately on the most negative bit! Is it because you don't want to face somebody's real stories as they worry you? By the way aprilbeaches, you're an idiot because you've permanently stretched the notes making them incredibly hard to read.
from lmabelle :
i think you should just turn your notes off and ignore everybody, and then turn them on again in a couple months and go, "see how silly you all were?" ;]
from mushacles :
sorry alex - I didn't have my notes turned on (I do now) and didn't mean for you to have to respond with another post. but glad you did all the same. take care. maurice
from rlikeapirate :
I'm sure people have left an astronomical number of lengthy, witty (or not so witty) opinions on your relationship with Kristina, friendship with Becky, and all the rest. I just wanted tell you that I'm really happy for you and Kristina, and I wish all 3 of you (Becky as well) the very best. Don't let naysayers get to you...they aren't worth it. :)
from goldberry2k :
Oh. My. God. People need to stop adding their little bit in here and there. Alex and Kristina are in it for the long haul. They're going to try and see if things work out, and if it doesn't, it doesn't. I can understand why Alex is so close to making his account private because he's sick of people telling him how to live his life and assuming that people understand how things are between him/becky and him/kristina. You're in no position to judge if you're not one of those three people...
from alakazoe :
Your best bet is to either make your account private, or to simply not share your personal information. Just as is the case with vlogging, when you post unfiltered content for the world to see, you give others permission to be as vocal as they please (and often in very cruel and crude ways). It is easier to censor yourself than to censor others, as I see it. You cannot change how others perceive you, and the most outspoken are sometimes also the most critical and judgmental unfortunately. I would say that if this relationship is something sacred, special, and meaningful to you, you ought to keep it separate from prying eyes. Otherwise, if you choose to remain completely honest and transparent, expect honesty back. Just remember that it won't always be pretty!
from saraxhp :
I know I don't know either you or Kristina, but from the looks of it you're happy and with an awesome girl, so don't let the asses get you down! People get bored of drama quickly and there's always something new that comes along so hopefully you won't have to deal with this shit for much longer. :) But what bothers me most about them is that if this was in real life they wouldn't dare say anything like this to you because it's just RUDE but that's just the internet I guess, sigh.
from jordonsatori :
It's verging on sadistic to laugh at others' anger and pain, but oh lord (as in Lord Alex Day?), this conflict about notes on Diaryland is making me guffaw uproariously. Is this some satirical microcosm of mainstream US (and possibly UK: "I be ignant" about pop culture outside of my own country--and hopefully more often IN my own country, as I want to slit my wrists every time I know who a famous actress is currently dating--) media? It sure looks like it. Parenthetical statements should not be that long. Hennyway, Lord Day, people should tune in because they like your humour or the way you write or think. If they're here to judge someone that they don't personally know and provide input on a subject that you didn't even bring up, then--well, you need to think of a more clever response than simply threatening locking your Diaryland. What the hell is this crap even like? I imagine it something like this: "yeah...ur like a sex addict i dont need evdnce just a feeling omglol"
from rawsf :
Right, Alex I actually love you. The other day you did a good old' twitter explaining how you'd found a sale on Play.com. I thought, hmm... Play.com, haven't really been on that website much, may as well try. At the top of the page was a 'Tickets' tab labelled as *New*. I clicked on it, seeing as it was you and.. Because of you I'm going to see The Killers live on Monday!!! :O Rory
from mushacles :
I think people's biggest problem is that they confuse youtube with television and forget that they are viewing real people and real relationships. The nature of the "community" and being able to interact immediately with their "entertainment" leads people to forget to engage their brains before rattling off some thoughtless comment on what you should or shouldn't be doing. At the end of the day, you guys will do what makes the best sense for ye, ye don't need us to meddle. Personally, I enjoy your videos - I think your interesting and funny (all of ye) and I'm glad to be able to share in that. The people that think that Alex's, or Becky's or Kristina's lives are there as part of some grand soap opera need to re-evaluate their life priorities.
from premedattack :
No one here has the right to comment on Alex's relationship with Kristina, its his life not yours. Im sick of people making his diary entry's obsessed with this topic because it's clear its stressing him out. Will everyone just forget the issue and let him get on wih his life. You have no right to interfere. Alex, i hope that you are happy no matter who you're with or where you are. x
from anne92 :
just ignore the stupid comments from people. its a waste of time.
from penydreadful :
fizzypop1 that was horrid. I'm sorry Alex.
from trocklewis :
Don't lock your diary. I have no idea if this is possible, but why not temporarily disable your notes feature? Just for a while? =\ *hugs Alex* (but not in a gay way coz you has Kristina :p)
from fizzypop1 :
Hi Alex I decided to sign up for an account because I couldn't bear not being a part of this argument. Although he's being an absolute dick about it, I hate to admit I agree with Rob a tiny bit. To be blunt: I don't think you and Kristina will work. I just feel the distance is too huge to support a long-term partnership. I had a distance-split relationship too. I was also obstinate and insisted to everyone and anyone it would work, but... It ended in shambles, basically. We split with an attempt to remain friends but we've barely spoken since and it was a year and half ago now. I'm sure you will keep up your best efforts with Kristina, but my ex and I realised the lack of intimacy (no physical contact at all for months and months on end), the expense if we wanted to actually see each other (he lived in Singapore) and the temptations of others closer to home just caused too much pressure. I've been asking some of my YouTube friends about this whole situation and we generally agree that we dislike Kristina (dipsy, too American, not as bright as Becky) and are so sad about the disintegration of yours and Becky's relationship - we all sort of wish you were still with her instead of her. Sorry if I seem mean.
from chelsealou :
Tbh, somethings starting to make me think that Rob's getting a bit jealous. either he wants a piece of you, or he wishes he had a woman as awesome as Kristina. It's ure life, it's ure diary and if he doesn't like it, he doesn't have to read it. Fair enough you put ureself out there and make this available for everyone to see, but let's all be honest, he wouldn't give a crap if you were talking about it being ure best friend who lived that far away. Just because it's a long distance relationship it doesn't mean it's not going to last. If anything, the chances of you and Kristina staying together are probably higher because of the distance, you need to keep communicating which is the most important aspect of any relationship. Rob? Shove it up ure arse :) Sorry for the essay there alex x
from sureality :
Maybe Rob's basing it on a previous experience of his. I'm not defending him though...he's going way overboard now, but some people can be clouded by their own bad times. If you can figure out a point to that mini ramble then high five to you...cos i can't XD xx
from krazykraz01 :
Just gave in and made an account here, tell me who the other interesting people here are =D Also, that Rob may be a bit of a prick and I disagree with him, but I can empathise in that it's easy to think that by reading this, we know you and can therefore influence you...I've been there, I've been a twat as well for thinking I could (with you AND other people), but yeah...I've grown up now, and he shall too, in time XD *ends ramble* It's VeryWittyName btw, if you are wondering.

from penydreadful :
' But if I ignore him, the little bitch will think "yeah I won, Alex can't counter that!" ' Noo, hr wouldn't have won. You're the one who has a Kristina. (And I'm sorry, I didn't know you had no other means of conversing with him.) Sleep tight Alex
from rob1988 :
Alex, don't you see? This consumption: your driven, dogged determination to prove your detractors wrong, has, inadvertently, exposed your own niggling demurrals and incertitudes about this fledgling relationship. Your attempts to blind me (and the others; we who whisper behind our hands about the unlikelihood of this ill-fated cyber-romance) with your own rabid, increasingly turgid eloquence has merely succeeded in convincing us that we are, and shall be, proven correct. This will be my last comment. Now is the time to sit back...and watch it all unfold.
from lmabelle :
Hey, Alex. :] I just wanted you to know that I've been stalking your relationship with Kristina since I first noticed you two mentioning each other adorably in your videos/met up in Seattle. {Well, not stalking, but.. yes.} And I just wanted to tell you how adorable I think it is... you two obviously care a lot about each other, and who the hell is anyone to say that YOUR relationship that they know only surface-level about won't last? Don't give up on anything just because people are ridiculous. <333, your biggest italktonerimon fangirl. ;]
from trocklewis :
Alex, sorry for kinda using this as a comment thing. I'll stop ^_^
from trocklewis :
penydreadful - oh the irony there :p
from penydreadful :
Aw hello everyone, we don't need to keep replying to rob1988, I'm sure the only reason he's still writing comments here is because people have been doing so. 'Shun the non-believer' as they say. Alex, just so you know, lots of your diary readers are extremely happy for both you and Kristina. And I'm sure there are readers that think the same things as he-who-must-not-be-named-1988. And I'm sure there are readers that are perfectly indifferent. But does it really matter? This is your diary. Write for you.
from trocklewis :
Alex! You stooped to his level again. I'm betting he just wants to be in your diary - wouldn't surprise me.
from trocklewis :
Pathetic.
from rob1988 :
I'm giving you four months, tops. I shall be sincerely disappointed if you prove me right.
from trocklewis :
To be honest, Alex, why should you even need to address you and Kristina in your diary? I totally understand what you wrote and why you wrote it; I just hope you don't write anymore. If it carries on, it'll just stress you out and we don't want that. As you said, leave people to think what they think. Out of interest, what do Kristina's online fans/friends think of you and her?

from trocklewis :
Does this mean I can no longer email you? *sadface* Also, the DFTBA cover looks SUPERSEXY! ^_^
from itisliz :
Ahhh, I haven't commented in a while. I thought I'd say that that DFTBA records cover puts mine to shame! Go Alan!  It reminds me of the set up on JKR's official site, with the pin board and everything. I thought Id also apologise for not getting back to you with the other art properly yet (Ill get some ideas done soon, promise!) and as for your video ideas, I think a series of videos like Harry Potter Is Gay would be absolutely hilarious but I feel that other people might not think so, then again if anyone could do them in an acceptable way its you. ^_^
from jjc1138 :
Chasing Amy has a hilarious scene about racism in Star Wars that uses a couple of the same ideas you mentioned. Check out this video from about 4 minutes in if you want to see it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSdzOvk6suc
from garishyellow :
So we have 3 of your favourite franchises, and three accusations that are highly controversial. What next? I know! 'Buffy is Scientologist'. Yes? No? I think you should give it a chance, personally. Oh, and btw, the DFTBA cover looks aMAZing.
from mollydangit :
Also in Star Wars, Lando the Black Guy betrays his friends, right? And they're all like, oh golly, he's the bad guy and we thought we could trust him but that was all lies.
from trocklewis :
You're welcome for the "Who is Sexist" thing :P although it actually isn't, I'm sure you'd make good reasons up xD
from trocklewis :
Regarding controversy and Star Wars... controversy is good. Every comedian needs controversy, it what makes the world spin. You'd also get some funny comments like "it int racist u dik". I haven't looked recently, but check the video views for HPIGay and then think to yourself, will Star Wars top that? God, you could have a whole series... is Doctor Who sexist (male Doctors, 99% female companions) for example xDD
from doodahdoodah :
@Rob - Public Diary does not = Public Domain. I'm assuming you've seen Alex's videos on youtube and you get how well known he is in other places, but if this was the diary of someone you'd never heard of and you'd just stumbled upon it would you being saying the same thing? I'm guessing not, you might read it, might just carry on thinking that's nice, so why is this situation any different? @Alex - You and Kristina will be great together.
from goldberry2k :
First, to Alex; hey, Adam here, just figured I'd drop a line. The most recent post about the skittles is just incredibly adorable. It had me breaking out in "awwwww", and I don't do that. Ever. Second, to Rob. For the last time, yes, public domain = public opinion, but a little known diary does not constitute public domain. The "cavalry" has been called in because you are persistently being deliberately annoying.

I like Kristina. I like you. I'm glad you like each other. I don't care if anyone else likes it. <3
from martha-s :
i just wanted to leave a little hurrah for your last two journal entries/rants. i'm glad you've said it, it needed to be said. there are some of us out here who are very happy for you and kristina, and who would not presume to be able to predict where things will go from here or judge either of you (given that we don't, you know, actually KNOW you). i will remain hopeful and optimistic. you and kristina have managed to live many years on the planet without my interference/judgment, and you seem to be doing just fine. so in the words of john green, BEST WISHES!
from trocklewis :
Rob, yeah okay, but there's also the factor of how you come across.
from anne92 :
hey alex- just so you know...i think you and kristina are going to be really great together!:)
from rob1988 :
Alex, I'm not entirely sure why the cavalry has been called in. I voiced my opinion through the medium of 'diaryland notes'. I did so simply because I am able to. Public diary = public opinion. Rob
from jordonsatori :
The fact that your personal life has become something of public domain in such a strange new way (completely outside the realm of political or artistic celebrity) is certainly worthy of a few studies in psychology, if nothing else. It's very clear that it's had a major effect on you.
from trocklewis :
Alex, check out garishyellow.diaryland.com and his entry "Obsession" :D
from trocklewis :
Lex: Snap! Alex: Well done - you got two new Diaryland peoplez today!
from lexcanroar :
I can't believe that I signed up for a diaryland account just to say "YEAH, YOU GO GIRL." I could have just texted you. for fuck's sake.
from trocklewis :
I agree with your latest entry. Your rants always amuse me and I think Rob should hide in shame.
from littleradge :
Rob, When all you have to argue back with is a "private life" comment on a diary that has never been publicly linked, and most people just stumble upon, it proves that you have been proven wrong in every point you had, and are completely without argument. Kindly refrain from trying to recover from your failures again.
from trocklewis :
Has Alex announced this on YouTube? Has Kristina mentioned this on YouTube? Has Alex ever really announced this *personal diary* on YouTube? No. Who Alex goes out with is none of your business so do yourself a favour, Rob, and give up.
from rob1988 :
Alex, I shall kindly keep out of your business and let you care for yourself when this business you speak of discontinues its presence in the public domain. Rob
from trocklewis :
What's also funny is the note below ("but what about Jazza"). It annoys me so much. Two YouTubers meet up - one's a guy, one's a lass - and because they have fun, people assume they're in love. Why? No! Argh x.x
from trocklewis :
I signed up just to write this. I laugh right at Rob because I look at Liam (aka omghelookslikedoctorwho) and Min - they're doing fine. Okay, so it might not last but it has lasted and it's going strong and they're further apart than you and Kristina x3 (not exact, just guessing xD). I say good luck and you should do what you want :D
from urgeforgoing :
Alex, I know your life is none of my business but you post it on the internet for me to read/watch and sometimes it's hard to not have an opinion you want voiced. I think Rob missed the vital element that will make your new relationship unable to work: you are in love with someone else, and you just got out of a relationship with that person. Are you not able to be single for a while to work out who you are, without someone else beside you?
from courtneee :
Obviously it's none of my business, but what about Jazza? I thought he and Kristina had a thing? But whatever, as long as you're both happy it doesn't really matter does it.
from rob1988 :
OK. I was thinking either Lex or Kristina, so I was right. Now, I'm going to say this. It. Won't. Last. You know. I know it. Kristina knows it. Everyone knows it. It's such a shame...I love projects like the vloglovers, and enthusiastic online relationships...but they don't work. They never do. I am certain that you, deep down, know this - I am just hoping you realise it before you get hurt.
from cadwaladr :
Hey, Alex, you don't really know me, but I just want to say that I don't think you're a dick. I really like you. I like reading your diary, and I like your videos, and I think you're a good person. You're probably just a bit too rational for some people, but that's a quality that I admire.
from sureality :
I really love all your story ideas. I don't know why, but i thought Asia would have a totally different plot line. I'm looking forward to being able to read Cal or Sparks and Fire, which ever you do first. I came up with a title for a story and characters, but nothing more. There's not even a plot line yet. Could you suggest something?? xxx

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back but I've been really busy with school *shakes fist at english department* and I also lost the pen for my stylus for a few days. However, I have good news. I have compiled a picture of all the different attempts at the colourful swirls and here it is. I couldn't decide which one I like best so I'm letting you choose. Which is only fair. http://i609.photobucket.com/albums/tt172/itiselizabeth/finishedindeed.jpg Sorry they come up so small... Oh and say hi to Charlie from me.
from garishyellow :
Hey, Alex. I don't mean to sound aggressive in this message, but it may seem like that since you can't hear my tone. Anyway, maybe people are getting so happy about the snow because it's just a break from their normal routine of school, college, university or work. Since you attend none of the above, maybe a day off to play in the snow just means a bit less. I don't know. I still think you're justified in your opinion. =)
from jordonsatori :
Well, underweight (though also malnourished) children in Africa are fed a mixture of powdered milk and peanut butter with fortified vitamins and get to a normal weight fairly quickly (the lucky ones that the UN steps in for)--but I'm not sure that works everyone. If you really want to gain weight, then I suggest eating something of substance and not just fluff (sugars and grains being "fluff"). As for the snow, just imagine Chicago. In your temperate climate, you're amazed to see the snow fall, but in my humid continental climate zone, the elderly have a major risk of both heatstroke <i>and</i>hypothermia! When it freezes, it FREEZES, and when it burns, it BURNS.
from rob1988 :
Hmm, just as I thought. Miserable bastard. ^_^
from garishyellow :
I kind of know how you feel. I'm 14 years old and 33 kilos (5 stone, I think). That's drastic, apparently. I've been trying to put on weight for a while now, but I can't think of how without just eating REALLY unhealthily. More carbs/fruit/protein is probably the way forward...
from emmylee04 :
Hey there! If you're trying to put on weight, I suggest another Wii game, called My Fitness Coach. This one doesn't use the balance board, but it's 5 million times better than the ones that do. Basically, they take all your stats (weight, measurements, etc.), then there's a fitness test (how many crunches, squats, heart rate, etc.), and they also ask what equipment you have in your house so they can use it with the workouts. Then they suggest a focus area (cardio, upper body strength, lower body strength, fitness, etc.) and personally design the workouts based on what you want your focus to be. As you're working out, they periodically ask how hard the last section was for you - not hard enough, just right, or too hard - and then adjust as it learns from you. My husband uses this one and has really put on some muscle with it (he also needs to gain weight). Enjoy!
from faelys :
I've always been under weight. I've had to deal with people calling me anorexic my whole life. I've given up trying to explain that anorexia is a mental disorder. People are just stupid. I've tried to google tips myself over the years. I don't think skinny is beautiful and I'd be much happier if my BMI was 18.5. The only major and obvious tip that I can give you, is that you have to eat more than you eat now. So double doses. Lots of bread and pasta and red meat. And try for maybe five meals a day? I hope this helps. And I think you could go to the doctor and maybe get some pills(?) They're supposed to make you hungry. And you end up eating a lot more. They're just like vitamin tablets or something. I can't quite remember.
from premedattack :
Hey, just read your latest entry 'Weight loss' and I can really relate, I got wii fit too, I'm 16 female and weigh about 6 & a half stone. Weight has always been a major problem for me cause I can never seem to put on weight and even when I do it just falls straight back off again. When I got wii fit I thought I could put on some muscle mass to make me heavier and like you went about looking on the net for tips. I think it's useless that there is no resource out there related to wii fit for this type of thing cause I reckon putting on a healthy amount of weight should still be considered as getting fit. You agree? Get back to me if you find any good tips or anything :) x
from aubrielle :

you wrote an entry about plane tickets to see kristina being really expensive, just wanted to let you know that's cause you're not booking far enough in advance. www.expedia.com - if you left march 2nd for example and stayed for a week, it's $424. so 312 roundtrip london to seattle. still not super cheap but it's a lot better. =]

from oogawooga :
I may be misreading your entry, or misunderstanding it, but you seem to imply that you believe in intelligent design, yet do not believe in a creator. This is kind of contradicting, so I assume that you are getting mixed up. I think you mean that living things have been created through natural selection, rather than intelligent design. These two are almost complete opposites! Also, I would say that natural selection does have a will behind it, a will to carry on existing, hence the selection of the strongest and most suited traits. It may not be a conscious will as we humans know it, but the will is to survive.
from saraxhp :
I vote Calamity, that story idea was just so fucking cool. I was gutted when it fell through as both a TV show and comic book, and it seems in the same genre as Renshii/Skyers and from what I've read you're amazing at writing that. Having not read anything you've written that would be similar to a John Green novel I can't really judge on that, but I do really like the title Sparks and Fires.

Since going widescreen Youtube seems to be a lot more fussy about what it accepts for 'high quality', but there is a new hidden function. Well OK since last week not so hidden anymore, but it used to be xD This site.... http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?s=593351577b49b8a4176202d0afaedc76&p=1479260#post1479260 shows you how to upload your videos in full HD, and then instead of getting the 'view in high quality' option, you get 'view in HD' which is awesomes.

I'm an organ donor also. Of course when I first got my license I did indicate I wanted to be an Organ Donor and was told that my family would get the last say anyway when I die and it didn't matter. But now I'm completed registered. I've filled out the consent forms. I don't understand why people are so attached to their organs. It doesn't make sense to me? Surely if one your organs would save the life of a person or persons it'd be worth it. What do you need your body for anyway?
from jordonsatori :
A bit of inspiration occurred to me from watching your videos and now reading your Diaryland. I'm not sure whether this is worthy of a novel, a screenplay, a small piece of journalism, or a large piece of journalism (or somewhere in between), but I believe that what you are doing will go down in history books as the zeitgeist of the era. The 40's-50's had Jack Kerouac traveling "On the Road," the 60's had Ken Kesey and his Merry Pranksters with their "Acid Tests," and now there's Alex Day--a.k.a. Nerimon--being a true "renaissance man," working part time, writing music, writing stories, podcasting, and making videos about his life--while tens of thousands watch--as he makes a little extra cash on the side due to his popularity and uses his earnings to travel all over the place. Of course, there are other Youtubers that seem to be doing the same, but they don't seem to epitomize it quite as well as you do, and certainly don't make as good of spokespersons as you. Tell me if I'm wrong. Hennyway...as I said...I'm not sure where to go with this idea, but the notion of a modern cosmopolitan being is certainly of interest.

You can also subscribe to Youtube videos via RSS feed, using this code: "feed://www.youtube.com/rss/user/nameofuser/videos.rss" It's more reliable than the Youtube subscriptions bar at displaying new videos...however, my gripe about Google Reader is that it lacks html display (unless you can change the settings to do so, in which case I would greatly appreciate it if someone were to enlighten me).

haha, I was actually just about to search through your archive to find the feed link^^

Hello there Alex =) I've been thinking of one of your recent entries about "Happy Places". I think I might have figured mine out. yay? To me, my happy place occurs the moment I encounter an old friend, and I experience all the nostalgia. It is as if I get a 'high' off of memories and such. I don't know if this would help you out at all for Skyers, but I decided to give it a go. It's not necessarily a physical place(obviously), but I believe it is just as good ^.^ Anyway, hope all is well. xx
from sureality :
my happy place is always at sunset, next to a huge lake with the little yachts bobbing gently in the swell of the tide. I'm usually sat against a big oak tree by the waters edge when i'm here. There isn't a beach, as such, but a small pebbly stretch along the water front. hope that helped :D xxx
from boorider123 :
My happy place is almost a field the bleeds into the perfect sparkle lite night sky. There is no up or down. You can walk right into the sky or run across the empty field at given moment and there is no ending or limitation. You are by yourself but not lonely.

Maybe you could have an area where they enter a kind of dream state. While there, they're reunited in a way with those they've lost. The people that died or maybe they just stopped talking to each other. Just like with dreams it could be a good or bad thing. Hope that helped some.

Really? We've had quite a few fireworks around here in the last few days. o.0
from jordonsatori :
<p>The states Maine and Nebraska have certain counties that distribute electors differently, but that has very little influence on the election.</p> <p>Also, pas, virtually every government has corruption to some degree. I don't condone the corruption within my own country's government, however, I do think not counting votes is at least more humane than murdering union leaders (i.e., South America)...but then again...Guantanamo Bay....</p> <p>Okay...so here's another problem with voting:<br /> Republicans try and suppress minority voters. They circulate rumours that Latinos will be deported if they don't present 10 forms of identification at the precincts; they circulate rumours that unpaid parking tickets will result in arrest at the precinct; they get newspapers in all-black areas to incorrectly advertise the date of the election!</p> <p>It has actually worked for quite some time...but...hopefully, that time is over. I've already seen attempts at voter suppression in this election, but, hopefully, people won't actually believe it this time around.</p>
from timparenti :
Also, as jordonsatori stated earlier... a few states assign Electors based on the winners of each district within the state, assigning only the 2 corresponding to the Senators to the state-wide winner. But not many do it this way, and those states are small and generally go entirely one way anyway. It is still very much winner-take-all, but the actual method of delegating Electors is up to the states.
from timparenti :
Actually, the Electoral College is a bit more sophisticated than "whoever gets the most states wins." More populous states have more Electoral votes, based on the number of Senators (2 per state, 100 total) plus Representatives (proportional, 435 total), plus 3 for Washington, DC. So it ends up being a very LOOSELY proportional system, which isn't really proportional at all. The fact still remains, though, that some large state will end up going all to one candidate by a slim margin, and that's what makes the system flawed. God bless America... >_>
from pas1376 :
Wow Jordonsatori, I am guessing you are American and know a lot about your countries politics - very impressive :). I think I understand the whole state/ district representatives, and I do understand why that would be a good idea, but your last point - about the corruption, I read about this a few years ago, and it was subsequently talked about on an episode of 'Boston Legal' (yeah people I watch it :) ). But I what I don't get is how for example the cash for honours scandal that occured in England a while back - it flooded the papers and led to an enquiry and for everything to be sorted so it was fair. America itself aims to fight 'corruption' through its wars etc (I am not saying whether I think it was a good idea or not, just that one of the many reasons they invade countries was due to the high corruption). Yet America cannot sort out the corruption in its own country. I do remember reading about the lines being moved so that a certain candidate gets the majority, so (again excuse my British Ignorance) but how can a country that appears to pride itself on fairness possibly conduct a fair election, where not every vote appears to count, and if you through corruption into the works, you end up with .. . Well Mr Bush ;) Sorry if I have totally misunderstood what you were saying, I blame it on . . . Mr Brown and Mr Blair. (anyone ever noticed their surnames all begin with B, fate . . . <_>)
from jordonsatori :
The way the electoral college works doesn't really make sense, upon further examination. The number, "538," as in 100 Senators and 438 Congressional district representatives, makes sense, but not the way the votes are divvied up. The reason we have a two-chambered congress--the House of Representatives and the Senate, as instituted by the Connecticut Compromise (combining the Virginia and New Jersey Plans) and analogous to the House of Commons and House of Lords in British Parliament, respectively--is to ensure that the interests of smaller state governments aren't trampled by the interests of larger state governments while also maintaining a majority rule. We elect officials to these offices so that they represent us, either our state or our district. The electoral college should work in the same way--voting for how our DISTRICT representative votes, and then giving our states' 2 senator votes to whoever wins the majority--but, as you know, it doesn't work that way. The state goes to one candidate, rather than be broken up into its districts. The structure just isn't analogous... However... there's already insane amounts of corruption in gerrymandering (shaping districts for the purpose of political gain...republicans especially notorious on this charge), which means that there would be even less sway from one party to another within a district than within a state.... So...we should just vote directly for our officials.
from pas1376 :
Perhaps I am being a little dense (nothing shocks me these days ^_^) but, if everyone has the own opinions, and everyone has their own vote, I am not sure how the whole state vote thing helps. If the 2 biggests states have 20% of the total population, how does this affect the overall result - I suppose they can get influenced by others, but thats true with any vote - and surely the 'electors' are influenced just as much, if not more than the general public. It's appalling that Liane (??)'s vote won't count simply because her state goes the other way. Each vote should have an equal weighting, not just be ignored. Sorry if I am being naive, but you did ask for debate . . .
from pas1376 :
Hey, with yours, mine and NationalEpics hatred of the apathetic lets take on the world - lets face it, the majority of the country would vote for us without even knowing the policies.
from nationalepic :
I completely agree with your newest entry - I hope that now you can see why I sometimes get so het up when people are apathetic about politics. xD
from pas1376 :
In regards to your entry about US elections, I felt I just had to say I agree to an extent. Personally I am genuinly interested in the elections, and have been since the candidates were announced, and I even empathise with the whole cleaning up the economy/ war issue - good luck to them. But its only in the last few years that the average Brit. has been interested in our own politics - (Conservative FTW lol), I can't imagine the average Brit. getting interested in US politics - honestly I find it amusing when I ask someone their opinion only to find they have none. Its our right to have an opinion even if we cannot act on it, its a shame few people feel this. Oh well, I like Obama, I like his policies and I feel he has played a less 'dirty' game in the elections - thus I would trust him, despite his supposed lack of experience. I doubt McCain has experience with economic collapse, war aftermath and the majority of the world resenting him - If he does, he can have it lol, good luck to him. Cleverqueen p.s. Thanx for the advice for buying Papertowns from yesterdays blogtv, have ordered it off amazon, hopefully it will come soon.

from saraxhp :
This is one of the reasons why I love youtube. When I'm hating people, and life and feeling alone and that everyone else around me seems to be happy I come online, read this diary entry, watch Kayley's video and realize that I'm not alone in being upset at this world filled with people and life and things disappointing me lately. From the perspective of Youtube Viewer, I feel like I have all these friendships, even though they're one sided and I'm probably never going to actually get the chance to talk to any of my subscriptions seeing as I lack the talent or self-confidence to vlog, and even if I did since you have thousands of people watching you and wanting you to accept them and talk to them, well lets just be honest, its not going to happen. Yet you guys still seem to be always there for me and not the in the annoying "everything will be okay" optimism kind of way, but in the "this is whats going on in my life at the same time as you and I feel like shit about it to so lets hate the world together" kind of way. It's a weird feeling. Though you'll probably think of this as just another comment I thought you might want to know that even though you hate people right now, you're not alone in that, and not that I take happiness in your misery, and I doubt this is going to help you in anyway but at least the fact that you hated people comforted someone. Sorry that this is long, you probably won't read all of it, that's okay I don't care, I just felt the need to write it.

what i think is too much to say here... so it'd be cool if you make a video/s about what you think of the bible cuz it's a topic that a lot of people have to say about... so it'd be really awesome if you do that.
from sureality :
I think your idea on re-writing the Bible is really good, especially in that chatty, informal styling. When i read it, i was imagining someone just talking to me about it (a comedian on stage, saying this as part of their act), and they'd leave little gaps for the us to laugh before carrying on to the next point. Really good Alex, but don't you think you've got enough going on with Chameleon Circuit, your album, Renshii, Calamity, (the other book, who's name has escaped me), and i'm sure many other projects that are popping up in your brain every half hour XD. loves and hugs ftw! xx
from mvztalestgrl :
about your version of the bible and what you have so far, it has pros and cons. the way you wrote the beginning section was good and entertaining and all but because you keep mentioning yourself, i think a lot of readers would get annoyed. people in general are self centered, so if you really want the project to be a success, you might want to refrain from referring to yourself. othewise its basically just your opinions on it all.
from emmylee04 :
Hey there! You should check out The Message - it's a Bible written in common day language that takes the stories just as they are. It's not as tongue in cheek as the one you wrote maybe, but basically the same premise. It's all based on the fact that back when the Bible was written in its original language, it was written in the everyday-man version of the language (like tu eres instead of el es in Spanish). So they wanted to put the Bible into our everyday language. Worth looking at!
from x-sarah-x-29 :
Another annoying message to say I actually can't stop listning to An Awful Lot Of Running. I love the binary bit. <3 And also I want to ask for some advice. I want to get a Macbook of some sort but I have no idea what one or, how long it would take for me to save up for one, or even where to buy it. I know you're the Mac genius. ^_^ Boiiii.
from sureality :

i tried writing novels for awhile, even at work during night hours, but i always stumbled upon one problem or another...call it writers block if you must. stand up comedy... i think it would be fun to try. maybe i should try it, i have plenty of audience.. he he

No entry about Thursday? What, aren't Liam and I -good- enough for you any more? x3
from pinkearth88 :
hey alex, just read your brainstorm, i was thinking, i know its your story and you may scrap it but some inputs cant hurt :-) maybe the female lead could like, grow up on a military base, ya know, both parents in the military, so she learns to fight etc from that, but when a mysterious thing happens and her parents and others ''disappear'' and she finds this thing (the time thingy haha) she sets out to find out what happened.... just a thought :-) Rach x
from drsm :
After reading your latest entry, I found myself looking around for a rating bar to give you 5 stars.

from clicherobot :
Awesome! haha. Cos the site I sometimes use to watch Who online doesn't usually upload for a few days to a week after the original air date and it's absolute torture having to wait it out. But I'll definitely check that out, thanks!
from lsmurf :
Oooh, and just to add to my last post. If you don't want to disapoint your fans, you could always lock ur diary and start a less-personal blog somewhere else...
from lsmurf :
I just wanted to give you advice on ur very Harry-Potter named diary entry about locking your diary. To be honest its up to you. If you think ur posts are too personal then people will be dissapointed when you lock it but you shouldn't let that stop you cos it's not a form of entertainment. It's your life summed up in web pages and that is extremely personal. The one thing you shouldn't do, whether locking your diary or not is stop posting how u really feel. If you begin to turn it from a diary into a blog for the general public then in years to come you will not have anything to look back on. If it's getting to a stage where you are thinking "is that too personal to say in my diary" then i think locking should be strongly considered. Hope i've helped a teensy bit XD Lewis
from inbalation :
i really think that u should post whatever u like on here without considering what may or may not people will think, i mean it is your diary, your personal diary in which you chose to share with the world, but u always have to remeber, like u said yourself: its a diary and not a blog, and its mostly for you. and if you feel like u need to pass-lock this diary then do so. in the end think about what YOU WANNA DO.
from nicholased :
oh nerimon, you should've slipped the girl on the train a piece of paper with your youtube URL on it!
from rosss-frazer :
Yea, I know, you're the drive behind my diary + youtube because everyone says you need a positive role model when your young and you're mine ^.^
from rosss-frazer :
It was nice to get mentioned in your diary though!
from rosss-frazer :
Hey Alex. It's not that I have a lot of free time on my hands, it's just that I want to keep a document of my life so I can always look back and remember, and I don't want there to be gaps in those memories. ^.^
from johncox88 :
I wish I knew about this little meetup before today. Only just found out about it from a combination of you, Tom and Rory. :(
from rosss-frazer :
Hey Alex, I've been wanting to download your music now for a long time and I am willing to pay for it, but my parents don't like putting their card numbers etc. on the internet. I'm really appreciate the album being free, but then again, it's your choice and if I was you I'd price it.
from tetsuya793 :
Hi Alex, I loved reading your entry Wonderful Lines and listening to No More recently, its good to see youve got you inspiration for music back. Reading it made me think of a song that Ive been really in love with lately Come All You Weary by Thrice, I think it would really suit your tastes so you should check it out. Cheers, Arnold (btw Tetsuya793 is my youtube name too)

from sureality :
hi. i love the novel, im trying to write a book, but not a novel, its a bit different. And i think the bracelet idea is amazing. I make bracelets, but i don't think i'd be able to make that many for each gathering...i could try though. ♥
from calumrb22 :
hey alex i decided to start making blogs thanks to you ^___^ and im off to a good start altho im not sure on how to change the format of the page but still ^__^
from parriah :
http://www.reminderband.com/ There's a website you might want to look into about the bracelets. I love the idea!
from drsm :
I've done some looking around. www.custombracelets.net is an option. They charge $0.55 each for an order of 500 and $0.41 each for 1000. www.reminderband.com looks more professional and like they have more options with custom logos and blended colors. Their website looks more professional too. They charge $0.49 each for 500 and $0.32 each for 1000. I inquired to them about sequential bands like "Nermie #1", "Nermie #2", "Nermie #3" and so on for the army. They said they could do that for $0.47 each for 1000.
from mvztalestgrl :
for the bracelet thing.... it would never work. people would lie sooo bad. it would become this big contest to see who had the most bracelets. i just dont think it oculd ever work. also, hypothetically, who would give out the bracelets?
from parriah :
I too am fickle with my attention span at the start of a book and don't really think there's anything you can do in terms of narrative, I think the people who you've talked to only said this because they're only getting the first chapter and they want to know more about the world, but as the story goes on more about the world will be revealed, its not as if you're never going to give that information.
from lsmurf :
I love the fast pacing of the 1st chapter of Renshii, its really quite interesting that you're following a character you don't really know through a place that is extremely mysterious and full of surprises. The character does need building on but i'm guessing you will look more into his past and stuff as the story goes on. Yeah, this is useless crap that i'm spouting, it's late so i'm off to bed :D Lewis xxx
from parriah :
I just remembered that I never read the first chapter of Renshii, and after reading it I can tell that I'll have a new story topic tonight, it's brilliant. I really like how this guy is all of a sudden just dropped into this new world and doesn't even have time to process and get used to it, he just immediately has to think about how he's going to survive. And just for a book in general I hate slow beginnings with pages and pages of background and character development etc, in Renshii you briefly describe the character and then he gets dropped right into the center of a chaotic situation, which is awesome.
from rosss-frazer :
Hey Alex, no doubt you're still in the tube, but since you seem to be updating...and stuck in the underground, you're probably on the internet xP I had an idea that you could do a Jimmy and make a video about how you hate public transport then on VLR you could shame him as yours is more sucessfull ^__^ Everybody loves it when Jimmy gets annoyed (Sorry Jim-Jim ^.^)
from isayhelenay :
i missed what calamity is? it sounds so awsome but alas, no idea!
from xnez :
Keep the Diary Keep it Honest Don't let the jerks tear you down
from parriah :
Can Calamity please become a TV show, or a book or ANYTHING like, now? Seriously, it sounds AMAZING. Before I go to sleep at night I usually tell my self stories to help me fall asleep, sometimes they're original, sometimes they're based on something else, like a TV show, book, movie etc. Calamity has become my new favorite story topic, especially since you just gave us the characters and the very basic plot and everything else is up to my imagination :D Also, I like the choice of keeping with Blake, with the stories I had thought up I kind of became attached to the name, and I was sad that you were going to change it. Also, I think it sucks that you had to have these problems with your diary, I found it after I found your videos, about 8 or so months ago (i'm not good with time perception so it could be more or less) and I've noticed recently how your writing of it has changed since more and more people are finding it, I guess you're right though, there is nothing really you can do, maybe you could password protect it and then cryptically leave your password at the end of a video or an episode of VLR or something? It's kind of a stupid idea I guess but since you never gave out this URL and people just kind of found it, it would be sort of like starting that whole people having to find it thing all over again, and then you could leave it passworded protected for a month or a few and then un-password protect it again. I'm sure that would lessen the people reading it by a lot and even when you had it password protected some people might find the password in your cryptic messages and read it then, so you wont ever not have anyone reading it. Just a thought!
from cycog :
you do realise the reason theres so many kids around is coz its half term for the entire country?
from rosss-frazer :
Hey Alex, I think that your storys are amazing so far! But that isn't what I'm commenting about. I've saw you write a lot of songs and I too am in a band. But how do you come up with lyrics? I'm a bit stuck.
from thatsaplan :
Your reference in the entry 'Mr Myles' stating..."and now they're girls from Slough that speak euphemistically of their vagina on live television"...annoyed me. Is Slough not judged and scrutinised enough in the media for immigration and anti social behaviour. I know your comment was for comedy effect! But can you not think for one minute of the Slough residents that have to put up with this shit everyday! Vicky (VLR Fan)...sadly my name can only enhance your current preconceptions!
from olivestone :
Oh, the automatic formatting for diaryland notes is awful. Just know that it was nice and spaced before (:
from olivestone :
Alex. Calamity. It sounds amazing. The characters have the potential for almost any storyline. It really does remind me of Lost in that each character has their own life story, which I assume will be revealed bit by bit over the series. Its the kind of show people would watch and argue whose power theyd have if they could choose. I think Id choose Kendras. I can picture it all so clearly in my mind, I can imagine trailers for it, and theyd be exactly the kind that draw in viewers. Because its so cliffhanger-y. Drama-y. The kind of world you could get lost in. Obsessed with, even. I dont think the name Blake is terribly clichd, but I do think Drake sounds better. Its kind of off-beat and a darker name, if that makes sense. If hes the sort of character Im getting the impression of (i.e. a good guy but has moments where you wonder just where his allegiance truly lies) then the darker name suits better (: Is Lam short for Calamity? Pronounced lamb? Thats so weird. But thats what I like about this whole thing. Its not the regular run-of-the-mill story. Its weird. A genie who can grant wishes but doesnt know how many? Genius. But weird. Weird is great, though. It is, I think, why people will love it. Its LIKE other programs (Lost etc) but just that bit different. Its LIKE real life, but has that element of science fiction. Its a whole self-contained world, suspended from but still just like ours. Finding out the bits that are the same and the bits that arent is going to be fun. Jess <3 P.s. I made a nerimon Wikipedia page after I noticed a distinct lack of one. It was nearly speedily deleted, but I contested it and now its just on the being considered for deletion list. Which I think means its staying. I only put in like 5 lines but Ill probably fix it all up later. Or you could. Seeing as its an open dictionary and all. P.p.s. Your diary is awesome.
from cycog :
when i think of drake, i think of drake and josh (nickelodeon). =[. i like blake better
from sasache :
I love it. i think the name Blake fits him.
from parriah :
I love the whole story line, I don't have time to make any long comments about my opinion at the moment, but I do think that Blake is too cliche American, I'd go with Drake.
from mvztalestgrl :
alex, im liking the whole storyline you have going on. although crystal's power seems a bit dull compared to the others. It seems so ordinary. It does lead to an idea for an episode where her wishes run out, but that just seems so obvious. Maybe you should spend a bit of time thinking of a more unique power for her. Also, im guessing that "Blake" is going to be a love interest at some later date? it seems like it would work out. he can be the one that all the teenage girls swoon over
from xnez :
Nerimon, i love the concept. It is actually pretty amazing to think about. The first chapter is pretty good. I thought the writing gets a bit muddled during the action sequences. I think that might be some of the more difficult parts to write. Although i don't know the structure of the story, i think you might be moving a bit fast. Your concept is intriguing enough to allow a little more build up to the action. I am also a bit worried about the characters actions. He was beyond depressed just a little while earlier and now he has to jump into the action. Something about his thoughts and actions didn't fit right for me. Overall great start!!! I think this project of your has some real potential. The goal would be to get the thing written, then tear it all down and redo it with everything you learned. Hey how did that change you life book go for you?
from arcaela :
Hey Alex! Loved your new video from YouTube and it's great that you're feeling better and happy. I think that when you are in a good mood, things just go alright. So yay for happiness!!! You wouldn't believe where I'm writing from... let's say you have a long long long distance fan ^^ Love ya! Keep it up and don't forget to do whatever you want.

Hi Alex, Did you rule out the possibility that YouTube Partners receive honours scoring as a separate group? You, and two other Partners I subscribe to, charlieissocoollike and sxephil, also have Premium Honours. I enjoy your videos and am glad I found your diary (which was a result, I think, of Googling to find out what a "nerimon" is. :-)
from notaninja :
Hey alex, holy crap i just found the comments section for your diary lol, its NicIsNotANinja btw, i just had to cut down on the letter count in my name here xD so erm... i dont acctualy have any decent comments to make, iv just discovered that im commenting simply because i found out that a can lol. Oh yeah, also i got pokemon diamond for my ds (i get all my game free so why not?) but as expected i found myself getting bored after an hour and a half - this happened when i played red too a few years ago xD i guess i wont be battling the youtube elites then =( HOWEVER, if you decide to get mariokart - which you REALLY should do, i'd love to race you some time =D (wow, so much for having nothing to say eh?)
from rosss-frazer :
Hey Alex, just heard from Jazza that your internet exploded...hope your back soon =)
from zazzymango :
I know this won't change the grand course of things (fuck it, I'll try anyways), but if you delete your account, a great deal of people will be damn upset, and that just seems like a bitch move. You're the reason many people like myself started Youtube, and without your (take this as an honest opinion) scintillating wit and intelligent personality, your 17,000 subs would be shocked, apalled, and most likely sad. You're not a monkey, and to me, you were never a monkey. But remember, when/if you delete your account, you'll be taking a big part of me out of my life.
from lsmurf :
Can i just say your "PERCEPTIONS AND REALITY" post was brilliant. I might have to print a copy so the next time i tell someone i'm going to a gathering and they reply with "Oooh, are you sure it's safe" or "Lewis, you need to get away from your computer more" I can shove that article under their nose and just let em read :D
from clicherobot :
Aww, I really did love the article you posted on the perceptions and reality of the internet. You captured EXACTLY how I feel in a much more eloquently worded way than I could have ever made possible. See, this summer I'm going on a cross-country road trip with three girls I met online. People have called me crazy for doing so, but I feel I know them better than any of my "real-life" friends and can't wait to actually meet them, haha. And now I'm glad I've found other people who feel about and see the internet in the same light as me. It's refreshing =]
from lzaki :
Hey Alex, just found about your blog, and this website as a whole really... just saying you should do what you want, if youtube fails to inspire you then you have no reason to be on there, perhaps going into a mememolly state where you make one video every month or so will stir up some of the passion you had for video making at the beginning... also I just wanted to say, my respect for you rose a lot when I saw you sticking up for Katrina in the comments... it was cool how you did that where other people who are her friends did not, some even going so far as to condemn her... anyway who knows maybe I shall start posting soon
from rosss-frazer :
It's your choice though...
from rosss-frazer :
Alex please don't delete your videos. You're the one who has inspired me to start on youtube. You were my first ever subscription. I don't watch you just for entertainment. I watch you because I look up to you.
from zazzymango :
that CYL you're doing is pretty superb, as I want to straighten up the veritable mire my life is right now. I'm on the self-image entry, and so far, that Michaelangelo quote is king. It's comparable to Christopher McCandless's "If you want something in life, reach out and grab it."
from rosss-frazer :
I am so glad that you are doing the top 20 songs list =) I'm going to download the #1 song each list now! Thanks, I'm getting into a lot of new music. =)

from lsmurf :
Wow, theres so much you don't reveal in your videos...your a man of many talents...which i suppose everyone is if they just try hard enough. Your writing is brilliant, can't wait till sopio comes out in shops :D and you watch Lost :D (although after seeing episode 10 its obvious where the whole Kate, Jack and Aaron story is going...i won't ruin it) As for that change your life in 7 days book, i have never heard of it before but it sounds really good, i might have to go out and buy it :D
from clairedot :
Hi alex ^_^ i love reading your entries as you have such a way with words that you write how you talk, if you know what i mean :D I clicked on a random page and it was pictures of you with blonde hair, woah you've changed haha! anyway. yeah hope rockband doesnt distract you too much ;D x

No problem, I just thought that you might want to know and I thought it would be easier to tell you here. PS: You said in a diary post that you created playlists in itunes for different stuff. I couldn't find that post and I thought it was a really good idea so would you just tell me? ^_^ Ross.
from rosss-frazer :
Hey Alex, You don't know me but I'm a fan of your youtube and diary. I thought that it would be easier to tell you this here as you are now really popular on YT ^_^ So I just wanted to say that you are a big role moddle for me as you inspired me to start making youtube videos and to make a diary. You have also challenged me in your videos to think deeper and look into things more. I enjoy your podcasts with Jimmy and am a regular listener. You have inspired me to be more creative, friendly and most of all just have fun and be myself. You have shown that it is better to be more confident and outward and that has helped me make more new friends. You were my first ever subscription and because of you I got more in-depth in youtube. By reading your blog and seeing how you set yourself goals I have started setting myself goals and completing them, it is an amazing way of getting things done and making my life better. Thanks. (You probably think I'm some sort of wierd stalker now, but I'm not. I'm just some 13 year old kid from the internet who really looks up to you.) Ross.

great diary Nerimon...i'm busy reading all the entries from the start, but i think it's gonna take some time :P. from bantenhut :
wow! Nerimon is on diaryland! Crazy. It seems like everyone (especially famous youtubers like yourself) is switching to other sites. But bravo! And dang, you're even a lifer here (1800 entries, ftw!). i'm impressed. you go, ladies man!
from clicherobot :
Just wanted to tell you that I've been basically enthralled in your words for the longest time, haha. I came across your diary about a year ago, bookmarked it, and just rediscovered it for the first time in months the other day. The thing that confuses me about religion is the desire to worship in the first place. The alleged existence of a god/gods explains the unanswerable mystery that science has yet to explain. Say the universe did indeed start with the Big Bang; what was the catalyst that created the Big Bang? If it was some random particles, what created those particles in the first place? Some sort of omnipotent power would be the most convenient, and to the limited concept of every human mind, ironically the most logical explanation. Course, then you get stuck in a big loophole of 'but who created the gods?!' and there's an infinite cycle. But anyway, I digress. XD Say there is some sort of deity who gave life to us and , sure I would think it was goddamn fucking powerful, but would I feel the need to worship it for 'fathering/mothering' me? I mean, my mum and dad gave life to me and I love them, but I don't worship them for it. xDD I know in religion the idea of loving and worshipping one's god are intertwined, but I can't see the differentiation apart from fear of such an almighty being. Ultimately it's fear of the unknown that seems to be responsible. Argh. This is turning into some stream of consciousness. This is what happens when I spend 5000 words of rambling about the importance of gods in an essay. I hope it made some sort of sense, anyway. <333
from nationalepic :
'I could lock Becky in a cupboard and beat her and not feed her for a week, and say 'it was because you were mouthing off'.' Great analogy. =D There's one slight flaw in its practical implications though: we both know if you attempted that in real life, I would quite simply kick your arse and skip merrily away. XD <333
from nationalepic :
You sold every last ounce of integrity remaining in your soul with that entry. *shakes head* <33
from nationalepic :
Today was amazing. You are utter perfection. :3 <333
from nationalepic :
*gasp* You've only -just- discovered Cyanide and Happiness?! =o <333
from elionazale :
Thanks Alex.. means alot to me :D
from nationalepic :
lol, I am considering it. ^^ I've sent you a bunch of text messages; have you read them all? I have recieved no reply from you if you have .... <333
from nationalepic :
'I ended up staying up till 5 ... I got distracted by YouTube and iPhone stuff ... now I'm all tired like xD' - a note you left me a little while back, proof that -you- don't always use hearts or kisses either, so don't go playing that card hun. ;p Hehe. ^_^ I wanna be snuggling with you on your sofa again. That was bliss. :3 <333 xxxxxxxxx
from nationalepic :
See, dreams like that explain why -my- subconscious evidently distrusts you. :P
from nationalepic :
Aww, you put Alex twice at the end of your newest entry, hehe. ^^ For a moment there I indulged myself in the thought that there was two of you ... which, y'know, wow .... yeah .... *_* I love you. :3 <33
from nationalepic :
That dream you had last night sounds beautiful. <33 I wish I could have dreams like that, but nooo; the last dream I had involved a woman getting killed by a man who stuck her head on a fryer. Let us swap brains, please. XD Anyway, hope you enjoy t'Apple store! :3 <333 xxxxxxxxxxxx
from nicholased :
hey alex, play this game! freerice.com
from nationalepic :
ALEX IS BETTER THAN A FAILED ABORTION. <333
from zazzymango :
Wow Alex, you read my email on VLR! it was a tad lampooned, but that's ok, IT WAS STILL ON VAGUELY LIVE RADIO! I just finished listening to the second one, and I must say I was/am literally giddy from surprise. I kid you not, I was/am on the verge of hyperventilating. Now, I've got to get my friends to watch your videos so there is actually some momentum in bragging. Viva la VLR! (I'm a male, by the way; you mistook me for a girl :/)
from andgreyskies :
Congratulations on getting the job at Apple. :D I'll have to pop in and visit you next time I'm in London.
from blades240 :

from zazzymango :
I would've looked like a complete oddjob on YT if I had said this, but now I recall that you know my last name because it was on an email I sent to you about VLR episode 1. I thought it was Deja Vu at first.
from sunstargirl :
nice profile! LOL! Enjoyed reading some of your entries. Cheers.
from zazzymango :
about the jingle... I have this thing called Finale... it's a composing program.. My sister made a jingle-esque thing for the piano and trombone, the latter of which I play (very well). So, I don't have any recording materials, but I may be able to conjure up a low quality shit of a recording. what do you think?
from blades240 :
shhiiit, in which case i wont be going with u to oz lol id love to, bur cant :( xx
from lewish :
Hey.. opened an account just to leave a note.. i don't use it though lols :] Just another subscriber here saying awesome videos, and awesome blog :D You also inspired me to start trying some comedy and also to start my own random blog :] Keep rockin' And have a great time in Oz! -Lewis
from blades240 :
how much does it cost to go where u goin? ya know with the whole australia thing?
from zazzymango :
Ah, but since we're counting tangible things, I guess 000 doesn't exist. ah, I am subscribed to your blurby little videos. good for me.
from zazzymango :
say, just for the hell of it, could I be Nermie 000? I mean, everyone's vying for the coolest two-digit number (which doesn't exist, if you must know), but has anyone asked for 000?
from zazzymango :
damn; html didn't work
from zazzymango :
I remember that one ! Josh is so awesome. (in a bathtub) <br> other add-ons are "in my pants","with benefits","on a twanger", or even "with a concrete dildo" (naked gun reference!)<br>twanger is a funny word. nobody knows the real definition of it. it even sounds funny. say it out loud a few times. twanger. twanger.
from zazzymango :
"Ohhhhh yeah. xD" awesome. next time I eat a kiwi, I'll have another reason as to why it makes my mouth tingle. Sex jokes always brighten up the day! person1:"Dude, my back freakin hurts." person2:"Why?" person1:"Because I wrestled with my brother last night..." person2:"In the snow naked." I need to listen to that song, by the way.
from zazzymango :
You're very welcome, your Nermieness. (like your highness, but with Nermie!) Yep, every artist could use a few music videos. I just skimmed over your latest diary entry, and the shirt ideas are great. If you haven't started making the designs already, go to the main site for the little kuriboh's (uber-kickass) abridged series. He had new shirt designs done by a different company, so you might want to look into that. On a different gear of intelligence, have you read any of my entries?
from zazzymango :
nice Nerimon/Nermie Army marketing ideas. the musical I'm looking forward too, also. this isn't a moneymaking thing, but how about some music videos? not original, I know. you're a good director, and it'll show people how much your musical and Youtubing talents could go hand in hand.
from zazzymango :
yes, I'm sadly limited to one per day. It's in the Code. haha maybe tomorrow's will be better
from zazzymango :
I just noticed that there is a lot of stuff on your profile (I'm, talking specifically about American stuff) that I used to like, but moved on to UK stuff. Isn't that weird?? ^^^^^^^^^^^^Stoner Observation of the Day.
from nationalepic :
Alex, you're a silly moo. =3 I wish you were here, you could fall asleep next to me and all would be perfect. <333
from nationalepic :
How did you write that entry at three in the morning? I thought you said that you were going to bed at the same time as me? <3
from nationalepic :
p.s. Keep churning out the diary entries angel, they make me smile first thing in the morning. <3 Love from your number 1 fangirl. :3
from nationalepic :
First of all: the inspirational speech has left me quite awestruck. That man is rather intelligent. =) Second of all, hehe, 'the "Beckys" of the world'. using the educational system as a means to further my own ends ... I'm sort of like Hitler - he used the democratic system of government, which he despised, to get into a position of power - except I'm not a racist, not a nationalist, and not a cunt.
from nationalepic :
Silly, silly people. 'omg u drink redbull ur gonna die in 4 yrz!!1!11!!!' 'tom will delt me frm his frends if i dont repost dis, n000000' .;;

from pimpom :
hey, yes i have been reading for a bit now. I like how you write, very entertaining and you almost always make me literally Laugh Out Loud =] Keep it up xoxo
from nationalepic :
Wow ... you have nearly as meany people who list you as a favourite diary of their's as you do MySpace contacts. :O Ok, maybe that is a bit of an exaggeration but still - it's very impressive. ^_^ Love you, chickpea =3 <333
from nationalepic :
Unimpressed? I think it makes you look all dreamy-eyed and sexy. ^_^ You know how much I adore that picture of you, angel. :3 I love you too <333 xxxxxxxx
from nationalepic :
Battle Royale quote. ERM, you are awesome. <333

from x-sarah-x-29 :
Your entry about God, and Noah. Proper cracked me up. xD Sounded like something from family guy. Your a genius. =]
from nationalepic :
Aww, that's really sweet. ^_^ Thouugh surely you would be her agony uncle, as opposed to her agony aunt?...I'm just sayin'. :P And according to your profile, you have 1449 entries, although you put the last entry as 1448; did an entry get lost somewhere? :O Love you, sweetpea, can't wait until tomorrow ^.^ <333
from nationalepic :
'By the way who else noticed there's no Question 3?' ... I did! *grins like an idiot*
from nationalepic :
Shameless Mac whoring! ;P
from nationalepic :
..so it does. How silly of me. XD I put the code in, but there wasn't anywhere (at the top of the diary, anyway) that I could put the last 5 entry links without the whole page looking somewhat squashed. Sorry, love. :( <333
from nationalepic :
..so it does. How silly of me. XD I put the code in, but there wasn't anywhere (at the top of the diary, anyway) that I could put the last 5 entry links without the whole page looking somewhat squashed. Sorry, love. :( <333
from nationalepic :
I'd be happy too, if only I knew how to. ._. Would you be willing to help a girl out? ^^ Oh, and there's another problem I keep having. It only happens with the first entry; every time I click the 'epilogue' (next) link at the bottom, it takes me to the final entry instead. After checking the coding, I'm still not quite sure where I went wrong. Help, please? :3 *flirts* <33 xxxxxxxxx
from nationalepic :
*Whispers* You're a lovely too! ^_^ <333
from nationalepic :
Something for you to look back on in 'later lif', eh? :P *apologises for mocking the spelling error* Whew, I can't tell you how relieved I am that the HTML came out alright! I'd have been up all night otherwise trying to make it work and whatnot, like some crazy foo'. ^^; Glad you liked the soup, darling. :3 <33 xxxxxxxxxx
from kate19 :
omg....you crack me up! You found an Elvis pokemon!! :D:D
from x-sarah-x-29 :
Cool! I was thinking of saving up for a Mac...But I'd have to save a fair few bob. And It put me off haha. I'd rather spend it on useful things. Like CD's. =]
from x-sarah-x-29 :
Cracking good opinion haha. In sociology today we had to have a debate about this whole Racist CBB thing, and it was insanely stupid. Many of the class was saying it was racist, some were saying it was just bullying, not racism, And there was me trying to say basically what you said...But using smaller words. =] But It was no use...People are ignorant and don't listen. And people in the UK are tards. Apart from the Normal-Down-To-Earth-Clever-people with good common sence who know what they're talkiing about. Like you. And me..Hopefully. I Whole-Hartedly Agree With Your Viewpoint. xox
from stroppybird :
i am perfectly aware of that, you mentioned in your diary.
from stroppybird :
just to let ya kno, i would be happy to read the rest of ya story thingy for ya if ya want :D
from joistmonkey :
'Unjaded' I said (albeit with an occasional glint of sarcasm). Don't worry about me, I'm just envious of your youth. You should show me some respect anyhow - I teach peeps like you :-)
from blades240 :

from blades240 :

from x-sarah-x-29 :
Hillo. Heh, thanks for saying that...I knew anyways, I saw the advert, I wanted to do a little scream but my mum was in the room. And if my mum knew i was watching a show about a teenage lesbian...I don't think she will approve. She has already asked me if im gay. Oh well, I expressed my delight in my diary. Meh. Goodbye xoxo
from andgreyskies :
I hadn't actually read it, I tend to keep my word. (and the fact I'd forgotten may have helped somewhat XD) Sorry if I annoyed you, you sounded kinda pissed off. Or, if you weren't, that I thought you sounded like you were, emotions are hard to judge through the internet. Oh, and frisbee/ frisball at Robert Beard tomorrow lunch, I think, if you want to come? <3
from andgreyskies :
I found your weblog, through accident actually. I promise I'm not a stalker. XDDD It was on some list of people who've added my weblog as a favourite. Just thought I'd tell you. If you don't want me to read it, then that's cool, tell meh. <3
from brattybecka :

from x-sarah-x-29 :
Hiya! I'm happy now, as I am better and are free to leave the house. Anyways, just thoguht i'd say Hi. And that I do think your MSN screen names are awsome, If not random. :D And that this anneliese thing. It is stupid, And i did think what you put was funny...I guess it just hits a nerve to some people that you don't read their diarys. I don't want to get involved, I love the Albany girlies...don't hate me please. Bye Bye Love from, Sarah. xoxo
from gnrgothchick :
Well then in future take your frickin hilarious jokes out on someone who gives a shit... And do not ever mention me in your diary again...
from gnrgothchick :
Why.Do.You.Care? What is it to you? Just leave it out... I don't need this now. Just.. don't.
from brattybecka :

from x-sarah-x-29 :
Ok...what happened to that last message....it went retarded, anyways, i was asking if that girl, Natalie Moran is it? If shes related to Dylan moran. one of the best comideans of the 21st centuary.
from x-sarah-x-29 :
n, and is she irish?!? wow, i hope she is... Dylan Moran is one funny SOB. ahhh well. bye bye. xoxoxoxxo
from gnrgothchick :
Meh, there's not much to say. I'm still living, unfortunately. I know it's been like ages since I've seen ya but I haven't really spoken to anyone. Which I'm glad of cos I don't want anything to do with most people. I guess I didn't really figure you'd miss me, cos you were branching out and making your own friends too. Which I've also done. I can't think of much else to say really. I'd rather us not lose touch but I'm not going to be hanging around anyone really, so I wouldn't be surprised if I don't see you much again. I personally dont want that to happen but who knows what will happen..I dont even know what I'm talking about now, so write me back if you want. kiss kiss.
from gnrgothchick :
Very good! I'm sorry this is a late compliment on your grades, but I do care, so well done! x x x x x x x
from gumphood :
I was just kidding around and wanted to say high. I like your profile.

from meganwaits :
Hey, just had to see what you were up to lately.
from stroppybird :
hehe, here i am proving you wrong XD i read all of your uber-long diary, and thought 'holy fuck this makes complete sense' (though i never doubted you for a minute). i have no idea what to say now, but meh, i'm rambling... luv ya babe xxx
from gnrgothchick :
Yeah, I wasn't trying to have a go at you or make you feel bad or anything. I was just saying, that's how I feel sometimes ya know...
from sanctimony :
wow. aye, cap'n. you explain things like no one else i know.
from gnrgothchick :
Just saying a random hello. Cos I haven't left you a note in a while. I haven't been on D-land much, as ashamed as I am to say it. Well, Hi! ^__^

from gnrgothchick :
I just added my own entry (incase you haven't read yet) just basically confirming what you said. I think it's a very valid point. People should keep there big mouths shut. Especially on a matter that has already been resolved. xxxxx
from xxjemzxx :
fuckin hell alex!!
from cmdrchandler :
Hey dude, as you asked so nicely, Im Griffindor :) enjoy! im gonna enjoy watching the outcome of this :P
from cmdrchandler :
Sorry i just realised something i should have added before. Several people i know have formulated a hypothesis for this attack. Do you find it uncanny that it is so soon after the Olympics was confirmed? Maybe if Paris got the games they would get bombed? So with this in mind i dont believe this was the only attack. There may be more. Thats why the whole train network has been closed, buses have been stopped and the millenium eye has been stopped. Now im worried, something that just crossed my mind. If i end up working on the Olympic stadium, maybe it would be attacked while im there, thinking about it like that its even worse, because the attacks were planned to disrupt the commutic public. the bombs were detonated around rush hour. i would be at work by 8am which is worse... oh well i guess.
from cmdrchandler :
Hey dude, ive read the latest entry about todays incidents. Sarah J's brother was on the train that was bombed, luckily wasn't harmed. BUT 20 isn't actually the toll from the bus. That hasn't been released yet, im not sure why. I know what you mean about your comdey, South Park did that for us :P. OH MY GOD! AL QUEDA KILLED KENNY! YOU BASTARD! sorry...
from cmdrchandler :
sup dude i totally agree with you on the 2012 bit, taxes will suck but id love to just go there and watch. The second cool thing i found out today, being an electrical apprentice i could end up working on site, helping to build the actually stadium. that cheered me up today.
from gnrgothchick :
That is true. Thank you very much, you are very good hearted. If you want a scrunchie that bad I will give you one. Lol. xxxxxxx
from jamie-freak :
XD i wanted a go :(
from gnrgothchick :
Alex, I really dont mean to be a pain, but can you please take that last entry off. I dont know who told you that, well, actually I have a pretty good idea, cos I only told one person. But I really don't want my personal buisness all over your diary. I'm not having a dig, I'm just asking you not to put what I do in my personal life on your diary. Please. especially something lke that. Thanks xxxxxxx
from gnrgothchick :
Thanks for being there for me today. And all those times on MSN. You've helped me alot. I couldn't have got through it without you. Thank you. xxx
from gnrgothchick :
its not a problem, but i cant stress the point too strongly, that nothing is definite yet.
from gnrgothchick :

from jamie-freak :

from kate19 :

from brattybecka :

from gnrgothchick :
Also, i want to say, please can you and me stop arguing or whatever. I do like you alot but it just really hurts me some of the things you say when I haven't really done anything to you. I have enuf stuff going on and I'm not emotionally strong enought to be continuously called a slut. It hurts me alot. If you feel I've done something to you then, I truly, deeply am very sorry. I don't want to lose you as a friend. I'm sorry for saying I hated you, i honestly dont. Its just I have alot going on and what you said really upset me alot. I really want to still be friends. I want you to like me and not just because you feel obligied to cos I'm Sam's friend. Do you think we can do that? I'm willing to make an effort if you are. xxx
from gnrgothchick :
I don't want to cause trouble either, in fact I don't even know why you and me are arguing or whatever but, I thought you didn't like Ross? And yet you are telling me not to make him feel unwanted or whatever? I'm honestly not having a dig, I'm just wondering if something's changed that I don't know about or whatever.
from kate19 :
aleh, i have a song that combines both of your two songs...its from the movie 50 First Dates and sung hawaiian style..do u know it or want it? If so, let me know and I can send an email. Take Care. Keep writing.

from gnrgothchick :
Alex, I want to thank you. You haven't made any evil comments about me and Ross ever. I just realised this, and felt I had to thank you. You are such a good friend to me, everything has really been getting me down lately and you're always there. Thank you. If you ever need me, I will always be here for you. Thank you.
from gnrgothchick :
Can u plz ring ross cos he really wants to work stuff ok. Thanx luvya loads xxxxxxxxxx
from gnrgothchick :
Im not gonna hate you or yell at you alex. Those are your opinions of Ross and even if i dont agree with them im not going to hate you. Your still like one of my best mates and i luvya loads. But i did stick up for sa, and i told ross that he should apoplogise to sam cos what he sed was out of order. Cos i know how she felt, cos i was upset afta u sed that stuff to me. But you apologised and i forgave you. I apologised to you and you forgave me. I just want us all to get along. Please will you just talk to Ross, hes really upset. Please just give him a chance to explain. For me.
from gnrgothchick :
Im sorry. Im so sorry. I just keep making people miserable! What is wrong with me? Im so so so sorry. You did upset me, but I know Im just a complete bitch. Plz forgive me Im so sorry.
from gnrgothchick :
Well, im just really sick of being judged by people. Being called a slut when i havent done anything that bad. I already feel hated by everyone, Im sick of people saying I have anorexia which I DONT. And then you have a go at me and I just cant take anymore.
from gnrgothchick :
Id like to tell you something now alex. I was gonna wait till i cud tell u to ur face but. I have been observing you closely for the past two months and deliberately caning you for one reason. To see if you are good enuf for my best friend. And I decided that you passed. You are a genuine person and I think you are good enough for Sam who deserves the best. But now you have called me a slut and insulted me on your diary, i am changing my opinion.
from brattybecka :

Hey, I'll try to e-mail you. Glad to know you're going to drink more water. Hope Lent is going ok with you. So any plans for celebrating?
from meganwaits :
You made me laugh. I must work on my Brittish accent.
from meganwaits :
Thanks. I really appreciate the encouragement. You made my day.(smiles) No, haven't done anything this year for Lent. My Catholic friend is not my best friend anymore, but usually, I'd try to give up chocolate when she did. I don't know, I think if you give up something for a while, you appreciate it more. Sort of like that cookbook "French women don't get fat" (something like that). The author was saying in this interview how you have to savor your food in small amounts. But then she went on to say, "of course, there are fat French women, but not as fat as those American ones.." Anyway, back to Lent. Its good to be disciplined. You'll feel stronger about yourself. Only its easier said than done. Good luck.
from meganwaits :
I'm impressed. You're taking LENT far more seriously than anyone I know at school who's on Lent these days.
from kate19 :

from brattybecka :
wats ur problem i aint done nuthin 2 u and i even called it quits with u.....wat do u want? i totally didnt deserve: And btw did you all know Bex is actually counted by most people as a part of the Circle now? I still don't, but ... whatever. She's also going out with Alex Chapman, the guy who went out with Sam in order to use her to get into the Circle. Yeah, use a girl, then all her mates will become your mates, loving that logic. Dumbass. like u say coz u aint in "the circle" it has nuthin 2 do with u so lets just ignore each otha coz i cant b asked with ya...... bex

Your phones fucked or mine is, either way i can't reach you. I have no idea if my E-Mails get to you either. So i decided to leave you this as a last resort telling you that you are not a victim of prank calls but shitty phone lines.
from crystal4eak :
Sorry for not posting this earlier... ne. I really do like your layout, and I'm sorry I didn't say that earlier. . .; But I also want to add that the yellow is an odd contrast, but I can't seem to think of anything better, so yeah. And there goes me saying something pointless. As usual.
from drkangelwllw :
