I'm glad you found a good daycare. I know from experience they are hard to come by. At least ones that are affordable. Good for you and your children! :) Good luck with the new job.
from thirdeye7601 :
Just now reading your latest entry on 4/10. Sorry been really busy. But anyhow, you are the better person here, and you showed this. Good for you. And don't feel bad for spanking, I do it too. And I HATE the looks I get too when I come out from doing it, but you know what, I AM her mother, and I'll raise her how I see fit, and I told this to one woman once! You do what you have to do!!!
from thirdeye7601 :
You mail art thing is so cool. I'm going to try it! :) Thanks for the link.
from thirdeye7601 :
Oh sweetie, this sucks. I hope things get better for you soon, and your kitty as well. Best wishes! :)

I heard George Dubya on the radio this morning saying they were forming a "coalition" to help with the tsunami crisis. He has to have coalitions for everything. He has to be the hero. I hate him so much. It's awful I know but when I heard that I thought "Fuck off America, we dont need your fucking help". I'm sick of the US government strutting around the world stage like they're in charge of everything. Colin Powell said they've put up an initial amount of money and then they'll reassess it when they have more information, which I translate as saying "We;re not giving any more money than we need to". It's ironic how they can find millions (possibly billions) of dollars for war, but they wont want to give much for a humanitarian crisis. I know not all Americans are evil like Dubya - you're proof of that - and I truly want to believe that good will always outshine bad, but when you have people like George Bush in charge of shit, you can be forgiven for having little or no confidence. I'm rambling arent I? hehe Sorry *hug*

OOh bad bad bad. Let me just say...I had my nose pierced this time last year..and even still I don't want to mess with it! I have gotten used to changing it because I had to, so now its all healed, but I can tell you from experience..just let it heal for a few months before you go changing it. Just remember to keep it clean (you don't have to take it out to do that) and move it around once in a while. :)
from themoodswing :
My god, I feel like passing out just from READING about the hassles getting the ring back through your nose. I had the top of my ear pierced by a body piercer a couple of years ago and stupidly took the ring out the NEXT DAY. I have a lot of ear piercings so I thought I was an expert. And I had the same problem: couldnt get it all the way through. I ended up nearly passing out from the pain. I think I learned my lesson ;)
from jilllybean22 :
WOW!!! What a sweet little girl you have!!! I LOVE how your daughter saw the moon and told you God showed her! How perfectly precious :)
from themoodswing :
Thanks for the healing tip. I think I'll be forever thinking about getting it done and never end up doing it. Oh well. I have a wee healing tip for you if you'd like it: get some essential lavender oil and dilute it with a little blending oil (almond oil, for example) and rub some into your piercing a few times a day. It will heal so much quicker. I did that with another piercing and was amazed. :)
from themoodswing :
Hiya. I found your diary through one of your banners. I've been wanting to get my nose pierced for a while but am still unsure if it's a good idea. I get hayfever in the spring and then colds in the winter...I dont know how the piercing would go with all that nose-blowing. hehe I'm glad you took the plunge and did it :))
from sexxie101 :
Thank you so much. I can use all the positive energy I can get.
from sexxie101 :
I ran across your diary after seeing a banner. I really enjoy it.

I have to admit that the husband and me are just as broke as you probably, and in as much debt as well. Who isn't these days with Bush in office. Anywho, I wanted to say that we are in the same boat with the broke thing. You know how every store in America has this HUGE sale on the day after Thanksgiving? Well, it's always been my goal to have money saved for shopping on that day. Not happened so far, and won't happen this year. We got paid yesterday, and we already have under $100.00 to last the rest of the month, so i totally understand. The only thing that I will allow us to splurge on this payday will be taking our daughter to SpongeBob movie on Friday. We've all been waiting for this day for months. Anyway, back to my point, I just want to praise you for sending those care packages. I mean, my hubby is military, and has seen the war. It's not something to be taken lightly, and who knows what they are fighting for now. So, you are a great person for doing something like that, because being over there is not something those soilders do easily. I thank God that he will be home this year for the holidays. And thank you for your support, the soilders are real, and you are a grat person for realizing that they aren't some yellow ribbon.
from stamatina :
Ugh- I'm with you on being broke. I am sitting here hitting 'refresh' on my browser, watching my auctions. Every dollar far too many choices of destination. It sucks not having money.
from minstrelite :
Congratulations on your becoming an aunt. What a cute baby!
from thirdeye7601 :
Oh how very sweet! How old is your daughter? It just makes my heart melt when my Kailee does things like that. How great for you.
from thirdeye7601 :
Oh God, I never thought of it that way. Not only has he been president for my daughter's entire life as well, but she was born on his birthday. God help us.
from thirdeye7601 :
Goodness sorry to hear about your crazed Halloween. Mine wasn't much better. Living on a military base in Idaho - it was not only freezing, but we had a 2 hour window to do trick or treating and it started raining/snowing right in the middle of it! SO i had the same problem as you with my three year old. SHe had more fun handing out candy to the kids that came to our door than actually going to to trick or treat! Love you layout and your template. Will add you to my favs!

hope your head is feeling good today... are your jadenightingale pages down?

i like how you did your layout .. do you think you can help me out wiht mine a little? i like how you have the 2 colums on the out side and the journal in hte middle. - go-ask-steff.diaryland.com
from sunnflower :
Sometimes I feel like what I do right rarely gets noticed but what I do wrong or don't do at all gets on the radar right away. It makes me feel pretty sorry for myself when it happens and I have to try to remind myself that I do know what I did well even if other's don't. It is really annoying though.
from candora :
you choose who to listen to, you give power to the words spoken or written to or about you, choose to believe in yourself and you will see those who believe in you.

Hi, nightngale. I discovered your diary through Caerula, and have been reading avidly. I wanted to ask, since you've mentioned it in the journal, if the whole bankrupcy filing was very difficult. I think it's something my husband and I need to do, and I think we do need to go to a lawyer to do it. I too know the plumeting-sensation you get when a creditor is on the phone. If you feel like letting me know how the process was, please do. I'm reachable at [email protected], or via diaryland...my name is, obviously, genibee. Thanks! Geni
