Kaire, this diary is more interesting than the other one now because you share your real feelings here...why do you keep them separate?

Excellent control! I'd love to have a Barry White lovin'-ya-cuz-you're-wonderful voice happening for me!

.2 is great after a holiday. 36 pounds down...next time you go to a grocery store, pick up 36 pounds of hamburger. Keep up the good work, on the inside and out. :-)

So sorry Kaire. I know several people who have had the same diagnosis, there are many different treatment options out there, but I sure do know the frustration of having "one more thing on the list". Sometimes it feels like the world and your body is working against you. Good luck!

This is going to be the year I take care of myself. I hope you do the same. My thoughts are with you. **HUGS**

I wish I had some words of wisdom that would seem to be appropriate. Keep the faith, take care of YOU first and the REALTIONSHIP second. YOU are the PRIZE!!

Sure you give a f... or you wouldn't be writing about it. Good luck. I hope it helps to know that others care and are here to support you.

Surgery IS surgery. End of story. Give yourself some time to heal -- THEN you'll get it together. I promise. Here's to quick healing! *goodthoughts*

Thank you for the sweet note. Don't let that gain get you down. I know I haven't kept up my water drinking this last week and unlike you I am not brave enough to get onto the scale right now. It would depress me to no end to see a gain and know there was no way I could hop on the treadmill or do any kind of exercise to make me feel better. Once you get your staples removed and can guage the results of your surgery you can move forward from there. Best of luck!!

Don't beat yourself up over it. You deserve to indulge now and then especially with all you are going through right now. Good luck and I hope you're feeling better.

Well, I'm a Kerry person, and while I'm depressed about the election results, I am proud of my candidate because he conceded gracefully when it was clear the popular vote spoke for Bush. What scares me, though, is the dividedness of the country-- right down the middle. That doesn't bode well for the future, with ANY candidate in office, you know? But hey! Why are we talking politics when we should be talking WEIGHTLOSS? Hee.

After reading the latest entry about your mom, I called mine just to tell her how much I love her. Don't let yours drag you down...your newly found strength and motivation are ispiring.

I've never been real big on sharing too much personal stuff with my co-workers. Unfortunately co-workers are rarely your "friends". Major KUDOS to you for the weight loss and healthier lifestyle. You are doing awesome.

Way to go. That is awsome. I get scared to eat, but you are right. Eat healthily and your body rewards you. Its a way of life. Not a diet. A healthy way of living. Keep up the good work. xoxox Kathy

One 12 pt meal is not that bad and good for you for getting back on track. In case you're not aware, Applebee's has a great Weight Watcher menu. Someone here at Diaryland reccommended it and I've already been twice. They have meals between 3-10 points each.

Well done with the weight loss and more importantly for your outlook on life. I quit reading you for a while...sorry...but now I find your writings inspiring and look forward to reading about your progress. Good luck.

Gosh you have been through so much and look at you! So positive, so brave and doing oh so well. I just want you to know that people like you are an inspiration to me. I moan about stupid superficial things. And you are just amazing with your positivity. I am a little shocked, no, VERY shocked as to the type of things your mom has said to you. I just can't imagine how another person could say such hurtful things to another, let alone a mom. I wish you all the very best, and just happy and good things. Kathy

I think when people start asking you that, you should say yes! And be proud. Because dammit, its not easy! And you can do it, and you are doing it, and as soon as people start noticing you should revel in it and be proud! Keep up the good work! Don't worry about a few extra points. Go for a long walk.. Good luck for the way in. xoxo Kathy

Good for you for the bike ride! I'm struggling like hell to ride a bike at no resistance right now, and it's killing me - I think it's great that you are doing it, no matter how much non-fun it is!

Hi There ~~ I am so sorry that you were hurt by your boyfriend's words... I think that sometimes people who don't go thru the same struggles (that we do) DON'T UNDERSTAND how horrific it is to hear such comments. You have a great attitude and going for a walk was the best thing you could have done for yourself (I am not sure I would have done as well). You go girl! ~~ Take care and keep your chin up. Bella
