yea, Saves The Day played the shortest most boring set last time I saw them. Every song was cut short too it seemed. They played here Saturday but I waited too long to get tickets and they sold out, but I'm too upset about missing them. And yea, my theatre is awful- it got so bad I had to quit. I might have to go back though... I'm a sucker for torture apparently.

Jaisen! Maybe we're long lost twins seperated at birth!? You could change your name to Andrew, or I could change mine to...hmm. Jaisenette or something like that. It'd be fantastic! But yea, Taking Back Sunday and Brand New definitely have some kind of fued type thing going. I'm pretty sure it's a good natured one though. When I saw BN at warped they started playing "70 times 7" and turned it into "No I in Team", and Brand New has a shirt that says "Mics are for singing not swinging" because Adam from Taking Back is absolutely CRAZY on stage, wrapping the mic cord around his throat and whatnot. And then Taking Back has one that says "Swinging since 1999" or something like that. I think they're equally great though. Wow, super long note. Sorry. Bye Bye my Canadian Friend! -Andrea

Ay, Jesse Lacey is beautiful. BEAUTIFUL. I haven't seen them in concert, yet...(NO DOUBT 12 JUNE!!!) He's so beautiful and hot in Sic Transit Gloria...Glory Fades...especially when he runs his hand down his stomach. So hot. He has a beautiful voice and writes beautiful lyrics. I have no clue who Adam Brody is. By the way, I thought you were straight lol. We're excited by Jesse Lacey?

Ahh, I just got into Brand New and just got Dejawhatever this week. I've only listened to it once, but it rocked. I hope I get to see them soon. I love Sic Transit Gloria...Glory Fades. I totally know what you mean. I get annoyed when someone is all into a band, and suddenly the band becomes 'mainstream' so they hate the band. I do get pissed when I see 'fake' fans of bands I've loved forever. But to me, if you like the music, listen to it. It doesn't matter how many people like the band. It's not a popularity contest. It's about the music. I'm glad somebody shares my veiws on this subject<3

Hey. I just got a chance to catch up on your diary because my computer is broken. Im at school right now reading up on what everyone has been doing. I have a million things to say now... most of them will probably be from something you wrote about weeks ago. 1. So Many Men! Bah... that song is ALWAYS in my head. DDR is so popular at my theatre because we really dont have many places where you can play in jersey. I don't know if this will make you feel any better, but I wanted to see Dashboard and Hot Rod Circuit SO BADLY, and tickets sold out. I tried so hard to find tickets, but no one had any. And then, the day after the show, I found out this girl I know had three extra tickets she had been trying to get rid of. It was so upsetting.

Thank you. Finally someone understands how I feel about Something Corporate. I really think they are one of the most amazing bands to come out in a long time. They're so different, I don't know any other band that can even compare to the sound they have. And the fact that Andrew is only 19 and writes such incredible songs makes it even more unbelievable. Straw Dog is definitely one of my favorite songs ever. I also really love Little, Cavanaugh Park and Walking Bye. They're all really great songs.

i havent heard the new pearl jam yet! i havent liked anything by them in years tho, their new stuff tends to be crap and covers. but i go on the web site everyday cos me plus 10 people are planning on going to the concert whenever they go on tour and me and kristina are gonna compleatly grunge out, make our velcro shirts say "i <3 grunge", flannel, ripped, jeans and hold metel spoons. it'll be good times.

we went back the 27th, the goal was to get us out early this year (june 11th if their are no snow days) then next yera they go back at a normal date and have an extra long summer, of course that dosen't effect me scince the community college i'm probley going to (ugh don't get me started on that awful place) starts in late august anyway.

Dick was one of my favorite parts of High Fidelity. I love how Hornby makes those little references in all his books to his other ones. Like how Will bought his music at championship vinyl in About A Boy. I feel like I could live right in the middle of that town.

They couldn't have picked a better person to play him! I love that cartoon and I thought all the little references they made to what people thought about the catoon were great! hehe, I miss that ponytail. it was THE best and worst trend at the same time. I'm surprised people don't have problems with their necks from that. And the thing about answering the phone at work, let me tell you, after I work box office for a while, I will answer the phone at my house like that for days. "Hi thank you for calling...me?" Yea, I saw that. I definitely feel your pain. I'm such a freak about that stuff too. I hate big groups of people because I feel like I have to keep track of everyone, I automatically make myself the chaperone. All of my friends call me Mom when we go places 'cause I spend half the time taking roll call and making sure I know where everyone is.

They did All-star me, My Sweet Fracture, and there's a chance that they did another one or two off of it because my friend showed up late and made me run outside to find her in the middle of their set, so sad, I'm really not positive about what they did then. They have a pretty short set, and like I said a lot of what they do is off of Stay... so there wasn't a whole lot of room for songs off of through being cool.

hey! hmm... they play mostly stuff off of Stay What You Are, which is kind of sad, but that's what happens when they're the opening band I guess. They do a couple off of Through Being Cool, but they don't do any of their acoustic songs. At my show they didn't close with At Your Funeral, that surprised me but was good. hmm... they have a pretty good performance, but a little dissapointing because it's all of the songs you'd expect.

Yeah, I saw About A Boy...much better adaptation than High Fidelity...course they kept it in England so that helped...but it doesn't take place in 1993, which I think was important to the story...but anyway...I started reading How To Be Good at the time the whole Nick situation started so I wasn't really in a right frame of mind when reading...It just ends so...blah...though.

hmm...I've been thinking about this a lot lately. I'm working on the best mix of sing 'em loud songs. I'm not making a summer CD though, it's more like a driving in the Summer CD. Here are a bunch that I've thought about so far. Radio Song-Hot Rod Circuit Through Being Cool- Saves The Day Handsome Boy- Saves The Day Just Rock and Roll- Midtown 40/80- Lucky Boys Confusion At The Library- Green Day Going To Pasalacqua- Green Day Having A Blast- Green Day PopRocks & Coke- Green Day (yea, I know it's a lot of Green Day, but...well, you know.) Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left,Right, B, A, Start- The Ataris. American Pie- Don Mcclean Jack and Diane- John Mellencamp (yea, a couple of oddballs in there, but they were my two favorite songs when I was reaalllly little! and they are fun to sing along to.) I don't know how many of these I'm actually going to use because there are tons more I have to decide between, but these are a few I liked. oh by the way i found out that on that hole quiz the thing with the numbers did count for something. 1a. was violet, 1b. was celebrity skin, 2 was miss world, 3 was garbadge man, 6 was doll parts and 0 was gold dust women, its the number track they are except gold dust women cos its not on a hole cd.

I am a bit of an expert at this, considering Ive had four jobs in the last 2 years. I do the cowardly thing, and just stop showing up. Then when they call and ask why, just pretent you had no idea you had to work. They consider you irresponsible, but it works. I've quit/been fired several times this way. Its not the best way, but very effective. mm hmm. oh and the reason the kids in SBTB all hung out was because there were like 15 people total in the school if you remember. the hallways were always mad empty. There was no one else there. hee hee. that always amused me.

well, rescue rangers is only on a "special" disney channel that i begged my mom to get because of the shows on it. Gummy Bears, The Wuzzles, Chip & Dale, old school Mickey And Donald, and the care bears. plus all the really bad new cartoons. sadly, no Gadget. I loved that show. 'cept penny kinda pissed me off. Fall Semester is on Four Minute Mile, Anne Arbour is off of something Self Titled, I thiiiink. I'm not entirely sure. But I try to bring the info when I can. Oh Canadian Jason, I am so jealous, Get up Kids and Dashboard. Finds a special someone to take to that show, because seeing Dashboard live is very emotional,and its twice as good when you have someone to share it with,I assure you. As for the get up kids, my personal favorite is Newfound Mass 2000, makes me cry ! Isnt it funny how often we leave notes for eachother, but we never actually talk ! I'll shut up now

I agree with your comments on that incubus record. One night over last summer, right before school started I was in my friends car and "The Warmth" came on, and I just started bawling like a baby. People may dismiss Incubus as Jock Rock because they're simply ignorant, but I love that record to peices. And it doesnt hurt that brandon is HOT
