hope you're well...
from gypsysong :
oh no! so sad :( good luck, ohclaudine. i enjoyed reading you.
from rockabillie :
Thanks for your note, interesting thoughts. I will actually be in NYC in a couple of weeks. Is your art on display somewhere in the city? I would take a look if it is.
from rockabillie :
Thanks for the note. I will start reading you as well. Cheers!
from propeller :
Yep.
from liar-by-rote :
thank you! and now i must catch up...
from gypsysong :
OhClaudine, I miss reading your stuff! Can't get in w/o a password.
from rose-phoenix :
where are you?
from propeller :
I feel bad for americans for no other reason other than the lack of accessibility to eurovision. it's my televisual highlight of the year. No kidding, I count down to it. Israel's entry was seriously hot...were you there for long? Holiday? Fun?
from propeller :
Of course we're more special than we think we are - but the reason we're more special than we think we are is that we don't think we're special. People's specialness diminishes a little when they're aware of it. Ahhhh, business men. Business men make me laugh. Alot. 95% of them are little fuckers. I laugh because they assume they're so superior to everyone else - little do they know... I so wanna have coffee with you too! Distance stinks. The world would be better off without it...(that's one of the best things i've said in my life)but give it time little one (I've always wanted to say that) I'm sure I'll get there soon - too bad I didn't know you in 2002. grr.
from propeller :
Oh claudine...Why, my dear? Write your rant to me, I'll read it. And I'll probably get it too. And I agree that we're at the beginnning of the end of the artist. But then only because everyone seems to be an artist. And I don't think that's a bad thing. Necessarily. Only when it's done as a trend, if you know what I mean. (Oh and if you're going crazy it's a good think right? Like an "artist" thing to do, heehee).
from propeller :
I really enjoyed that entry
from propeller :
Bets on that I'm a bigger fraud. (I always feel like such a pretentious fraud. It scares me). 60's Parision mod eh? that actually sounds rather interesting. It'd be like the dreamers but not so fraudulent (harhar) and actually authentic. And perhaps good. European cinema is so much better than any other type of cinema. Ever. If I were to work in the movies, i'd want it to be in europe.
from propeller :
Am I going to sound horribly ignorant if I tell you I havent? What kind of stuff is it?
from propeller :
Fassbinder? His stuff is so teeeedious - and yet strangely mesmerising. Keep me posted on your work, oui? And thank you for your words. I think them to myself you know but very often I need them told to me.
from propeller :
I do know what you mean. it feels weird because sometimes I want to just break off from everything and run down into a little village in the country somewhere and raise kids and other times I'm super ambitious and want to produce lots of work. Graphic design is kinda what I'm doing and there is a lot of work, it's that most of it is incredibly boring. Ultimately, my dream job is to be a director. And make movies like chocolate and Y tu mama. And stuff. Yeah. I don't really know thought. whatever happens happens. But I think I get how you feel. A little bit. Maybe:) I'd like to see some of your stuff if you have an online gallery somewhere or whatever...
from propeller :
congratulations...on the getting pleasure from something you're doing thing. You're one step ahead of me.
from liar-by-rote :
OK, here i spill my heart out - this is the first time i've moved away from ny and don't want to come back. there is retardation at work but it's a busy salon so i am in the right place to get my own business one day - but, it is the hardest part of my life so far in caring for my mom. she's like my baby. i'm trying not to lose my mind in the sadness i feel, and how trapped. i like it here - the constant rain, the easy people, and the radio. we have good radio. :)
from liar-by-rote :
is that your parent's new pooch? she's darling. everyone needs a love pooch.
from frenchbean :
Thanks for the note! You want to live in Berlin, I want to live in Israel (never been, don't speak Hebrew, would have no way to support myself). I appreciate the Aveda encouragement, it's the little things that get me by here.
from fuckingdrunk :
I've wanted to see goodbye lenin for a while now. What'd you think?
from gypsysong :
p.s. my curls won't straighten either. they're sort of cool like that.
from gypsysong :
you made my day x 1,000 with your note! thank you so much. i've been reading your entries, too, and i think you're fantastic. thanks so much for writing!
from propeller :
damnit....i spelt bridgit wrong. She's great...mesmerising in a complete non-drug using kinda way. I know what you mean about leaving one painting project to start another - i hate that feeling. Good luck with it all though, yeah?
from liar-by-rote :
you made my night - that orange against stark grey winter central park. and you look beautiful!
from rose-phoenix :
thank god! you're coming to nyc this weekend!!!
from rose-phoenix :
where are you?
from nonsorbet :
thanks, i was wondering what the advantages of living alone were, as the only ive found was being able to drink without others calling you a drunk
from zeldamcgee :
Hi Claudine, Been reading your entries of late, and I hope this doesn't sound weird coming from a more-or-less total stranger, but I'm pulling for you to find whatever it is you want/need right now. (On a totally clinical level, I recommend Vitamin B supplements as an excellent non-chemical balancing agent.) Your entries tell me you have an immense amount of creative energy, and I can assure you, even though I am not an artist myself, that the world needs and craves people like you in it to do what you do: create, paint, inspire . . . Wishing you all best, Z
from zeldamcgee :
Thank you so very much, Claudine! Each of the artists you suggested opened whole new worlds to me. Inspiring stuff. I'll definitely look further into this. Wonderful to know that there are such creative minds in the universe. Zelda
from zeldamcgee :
Thanks for your note, Claudine. I enjoyed reading your entries from the past little while. I hope you continue to write; I like your window into the New York artists' world. In fact, I have an art-related question for you that I'd love to know your thoughts on if you have time to reply: what do you think of Hundertwasser's work? I don't know how well-known he is, or what the art world thinks of him. My interest in him comes from my PhD work on environmental philosophy--- he sees the world in such an organic and creative way and I am working out a thesis on how to translate his artistic vision of integrating human and natural worlds into everyday practice. Do you know of him and/or others whose work relates to the environment? Your entry regarding the stars was a revelation to me. I guess I never imagined that someone could never have the opportunity to see the night sky. Where I live (Edmonton, Canada), we not only see stars all the time, but also get great light shows from the aurora borealis (norhtern lights) during the winter months. It's a fine trade-off for the nasty, frigid weather. Stay warm in this new year. Zelda
from liar-by-rote :
if you stop writing in D-land how am i going to know how you are? :(
from nonsorbet :
due to stalkers nature.. i read that you feel like you are grey or yellow: in the morning when you throw up water and your skin turns a pale pale yellow well everyday you lose more color do you think that someone paints your mirror?so you think that things sound different at the time when you speak well there are visions much clearer than these blurs that you see and wake up in the morning to find you are not who you used to be you don't recognize the behavior or the spelling of your name and the shape that is in the mirror well you'd swear it is not the same and like neely o'hara you swallow your sleep and you really can't remember but you know you are not think you are not no you are not who you used to be i dunno. seemed more relevant at when i read the entry...now it doesnt seem it.its by a man named conor oberst. bright eyes.
from ceciliaruns :
hello and thank you. art student as well? show me your stuff - and feel free to comment on mine as i post it - good or bad i could use some feedback from another trained eye -
from bare-my-soul :
do you celebrate Christmas? if not, can i interest you in making some money? i'll pay you to stay a couple of nights (12/25 and 12/26 at my apartment.) You'll have the whole place to yourself, cable too! Let me know claudy.
from nonsorbet :
tyler is ok. same as any art school i guess. you have your professors that are trying to do something, and the ones that tell you that there is only one way to do things. you know that im sure. and rubbish is good.
from nonsorbet :
hello. i am a stalker of stuff. i read alot of your diary. i want to see your work. i am a fake art kid at tyler. philly has alot of art. good luck with those fucks that have the power to deem ability on slides. i hate slides.
from liar-by-rote :
that photo (is it a photo?) looks like an open roast beef sandwich, Claude. is it?
from fuckingdrunk :
I just found out that I'm a quarter or possibly a third jewish. Does this mean I can get away with jew jokes now? Will they all just say "ha ha, he's one funny, funny self-depricating jew"? And how've you been?
from love-swing :
Tell Rose hello for me and keep her in line! Have a great Thanksgiving!
from liar-by-rote :
he loves it. has his own workshop in the basement. but he used to work by this shipyard, in a warehouse, downtown. i met the most delicious welder/artists. women too. cool women with built bodies. you could do worse.
from liar-by-rote :
Claude, what kind of metal work are you doing? my brother's a welder and sculpts for artists out here. i'm doing well. better than i thought, actually. good coffee shops, cute boys, mountains, rain, and the sea. i need to visit nyc soon, though. need a fix. need to be outwardly rude...;)
from liar-by-rote :
your writing reminds me of Anais Nin. oh! i can't see you working for the railroad, Claude. you would look fetching in that hat, i must say - i can't see you working at all. you need to perch on a red couch, watching movies, waiting for your lovva.
from love-swing :
Ana's name sounded so familar and I finally put two and two together when it stated that she did work in Iowa. She was taught in one of my art classes at a the Univ. of Northern IA. Crazy.
from bare-my-soul :
so funny, i also went to rite-aid last night and bought cold remedies; cough drops, nyquil, nasal spray, and some vitamins. i'm also taking Airborne... i refuse to get sickkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
from bare-my-soul :
i love this dialogue. tell bob hello.
from love-swing :
I haven't heard of Pee Wee Herman in ages! And yes, to hell with Halloween and all the freaks who come with it.
from bratcore :
Nothing in particular, I think it mostly has to do with the lack of disconnection you seem to have with the things that you love.
from bare-my-soul :
i had a bad day too M. it must have been in the air. you okay now?
from bare-my-soul :
i miss your other template. i can't read this one. the words are too tiny!!! i'm getting old.
from asitwere :
My office is 2 blocks from that market. :-)
from bare-my-soul :
why do i feel so close to you after meeting you only once?? i always look forward to your entries, and hearing about your life. i loved your last entry. maybe? maybe not? you'll figure it out. love rose
from bare-my-soul :
you get more notes from my friend lola than i do! then again, i get emails!!! HI
from liar-by-rote :
you broke my heart today with the pic of skyline...:(
from liar-by-rote :
i'm projecting, Claude. i am part dog, child, grandma, brother, and mother. it's just something i've noticed, so watch out!
from liar-by-rote :
do you ever feel like you become the people you hang around? then you would become 24 people. make a painting or word a poem about that. the one you have up on your site looks like 24 minds.
from bare-my-soul :
i'm so glad you're wearing the perfume. i wear it often, myself. i miss paris. and you. it makes me happy when i read your new entries. you are so special. love rose
from asitwere :
That's pretty cool. I was schooled in Northern NJ, and after couple of higher-ed schools, eventually at NYU. I live in Manhattan :-) (that other address works for email too)
from asitwere :
Hands down we got the best curry. EVA.
from asitwere :
Glad you like, glad you like. I'm going to speak my mind more. I like it. ;-) Hey I just moved TO Upper West. Where are you? APNY74 at AOL
from asitwere :
You got it, dancin partner.
from asitwere :
I love singing that song when dancing with a glass of red.
from bare-my-soul :
let me know when you're coming M, and i'll be there. i would love to see you. don't worry about analyzing. an unexamined life is not worth living. i forget who said that. love rose
from asitwere :
By the way... love your layout. Any chance you got HTML from rose!?
from asitwere :
They tell me I should read you, so I think I'll begin to. :-)
from bare-my-soul :
yes, i would LOVE to see yuo. when are you coming? will you be here on the 11th? perhaps we could do something special to remember those who died. love rose
from bare-my-soul :
hi doll...yes i do dread it, and can't believe it's been three years, and i will never forget what a beautiful day it started out to be...and just as the weather starts to turn to that cool, crispness and that blue fall sky, i am always reminded....i really cannot believe it's been three years. hang in there kid. sorry to hear about the equipment and everything you had to do to get it there, only to have it fail. when that happens take a deep breath and ask yourself if any of this is going to matter when you're laying on your death bed! that's what i try to do. easier said than done. hang in there. love rose
from bare-my-soul :
i look forward to reading you more in depth, but i haev always thought you wrote from your heart,. regardless, the honesty is what keeps me coming back for more. and you write beautifully. love rose
from propeller :
as long as it's not "Arse lover" it doesn't bother me. Unless it's "cow lover" - i mean, they are from Oklahoma and all...
from propeller :
Go see them. I found Cremaster 5 to be the best - it's just very beautiful. I'm kinda annoyed because i missed out on watching 1 + 2 but hopefully they'll be back here soon... I actually haven't heard of anything recent that he's done...it be cool to see something from him.
from bare-my-soul :
you're life is just beginning. hang in there. it will only get better. i promise you. focus on school. focus on school. focus on school. that's what you're there for. don't worry tyrone will call. love r

from liar-by-rote :
bye claudy. do well in school and maybe we can meet up next spring, before it's too hot, in the big, bad, park. kissss
from agonie :
i need everything you need. almost exactly.
from liar-by-rote :
Tom's Diner. That's on Washington st, in Brooklyn. i lived around the corner, they had the lyrics framed with her autograph underneath. cute place.
from bratcore :
that's the thing.. SY is this AXIS OF COMMUNITY, both in the way that they choose to create music and art, and in the way that if you REALLY LIKE SY, you can safely assume that when you meet someone else who REALLY LIKES SY, you're bound to notice that you share a similar/complimentary angle of viewing the world.
from bratcore :
I feel like a bit of a liar by saying that everything sucks now.. Everything's just so disparate, everyone's so unconnected and placated at this point in time... Shit will rise again. Even if the only shit that's rising is the stuff I'm throwing at halliburton signs. P.S. Hi, I'm rachel. nice to somewhat meet you!
from dollcommon :
I know little to nil about art, but have great appreciation for it, and I love your paintings.
from liar-by-rote :
you already knew that...right?
from liar-by-rote :
thanks...for the entry. btw, vacant eyes are demonic. i've had dreams - you won't believe this but last night - a dream of a - not white eyed but irisless - anyway, it's dead. that's what it means.
from bare-my-soul :
i liked your "I have a man" entry before and after you edited it, you brat!
from agonie :
i just wanted to tell you that i used an extract from your diary to prove my point to someone who told me that all men are ugly.
from bloodyrose1 :
Sometimes I feel that the creative process only truly comes when it stops being looked at as a chore. When you create for the sake of creating, for the love of the brush on canvas, for that paint under your nails, then it will come. When you think too much on the end result it tends to become forced and unresponsive. Maybe go back to basis and rediscover why you love to create in the first place?
from agonie :
i am reading. i don't understand all of it, but i like when you talk about your painting process.
from agonie :
Thanks, and I shall return the compliment. But... what makes you say that? Do you read french? Have you seen my pics? I'm just curious.
from bloodyrose1 :
Hey honey, long time no talk. If you are having any tattoo doubts then wait on it - your skin isn't going to run away anywhere. If you feel the need to do something, anything, but you are still having doubts then perhaps you need to look somewhere else for your answers. Maybe deep inside?
from bare-my-soul :
missed you...wow it sounds like baltimore could be a good change for you! positive. i haev a friend down there, but he's only there until the end of July. Are you going back? Perhaps we can take a trip down together on a weekend. all so exciting. i am really excited for you. love rose
from bare-my-soul :
have a great weekend!
from design-doll :
yeah it's great! and you get a hot moz cover! email me your address and i'll pop one in the mail!
from bloodyrose1 :
I have nothing to say but this: I am right there with you in the pit of feeling over emotional. It will get better, M, it always does. Stay well. xoxo
from bare-my-soul :
well...i'm waiting. it says you updated. what did you do, post it, then delete. you bitch! i am waiting for the love letter you will write - and beautifully, and stop being so critical of yourself. post it! central park very soon. i can feel it! miss you. rose
from design-doll :
email me your picture so i can finally draw you, that nite you sent them to me i accidently closed the im window without saving them!!! kristincofer@comcast.net xo
from liar-by-rote :
i have a crush on De La Vega but never set eyes on him. for 7 years he drew around my subway stop. a few months back his 'work' was on my block, and i missed him. can't catch the wily bastard...
from design-doll :
love it... when can i come stay with you in new york?
from bare-my-soul :
beautiful!
from bare-my-soul :
hey, meet lola and sherry and i at central park tomorrow night, after work, 6PM? Can ya? call me!
from liar-by-rote :
it takes more than one kid to tip, Claude. and look, i'm taking up all your notes. i'm a note fiend.
from liar-by-rote :
Rickey's has the heads, Claude. you knew that, right? i think they are too expensive, so before you go there try Rays on 43rd and 8th avenue. sorry i couldn't find a better place for you. Rays is a beauty supply store and it is cheap and dirty. call before you go. unless you want to pop into a peep show while you're in the neighborhood ;)
from liar-by-rote :
i'm making a note to get the mannequin head info for you tomorrow. by-the-way, i checked out the photos (of the heads in trees) and at first, i wasn't sure - but then they grew on me, they crept up on me. were you there all day? i liked the light change. they made me happy. and laugh. if you want to take a writing hiatus why not do more head shots?
from bare-my-soul :
NOOOO you can't leave us! keep writing through it. i know you're going through something, that is when you're supposed to write. Don't go M.
from bare-my-soul :
my god, that broght me back! i used to LOVE Mad Libs! those were the days. next time we get together, bring Sex Libs. OH YEAH! miss u M., love rose
from fuckingdrunk :
You know, that note by Lola about poeple in prison enjoying Bukowski, isn't very accurate. I only met one guy in prison that actually liked Bukowski. Bukowski is something like punk rock. It's an acceptable phase, but if it extends beyond that, it's a little pitiable.
from liar-by-rote :
yes i do. let me get correct address and i'll get back to you...but, remind me if i don't!
from liar-by-rote :
happy brithday claudy.
from design-doll :
so i just looked at your ::photos page and i must say... i LOVE tree sluts... i want to draw one of those images even!!! and god, your paintings remind me so much of the later cindy sherman... when she was in the ::grotesque period- if you put one of those tree sluts with one of your paintings, it would be hot. hope you're wearing the yellow shoes hehehehe
from fuckingdrunk :
go.
from fuckingdrunk :
Did you know Alexander Pope was a four foot tall hunchback? Sexy, no? Oh Alexander, let me rub that big gorgeous fucking hump of yours. There are better lines of his to quote by the way. I wrote Charlie Kaufmann and told him that. Fat bastard didn't write me back. Probably too busy fucking two models on a pile of cash. Do you really like Bukowski? Does he seem like such a sensationalist? Yeah, I got shitty, and then I took a shit in this girl I fucked's toilet. I'm a self-effacing bastard, and I'm not ashamed that I'll fuck anything that moves. Wait, that's a lie. I'm also a liar. I really did like Bukowski once though, but I can't remember why...
from bare-my-soul :
don't be sad...me and lola love you. don't be hard on yourself. give it time. my brother lived at home until he was 30! and you've got new friends to spend your summer days with, listening to the philharmonic in central park! this too shall pass. much love rose and lola
from bloodyrose1 :
I'm sorry you didn't get in darling. But maybe it wasn't your time. You will find something, and you will be happy. Take care. xoxox
from liar-by-rote :
it's just another art form but it's hell on earth. there has to be a better way...find it.
from liar-by-rote :
claude, hairdressing. i'm telling you. you can be as happy as me. :O
from bare-my-soul :
you are beautiful, and so are your paintings. just you wait, one of these days...something will happen. i promise you! you're still so young. just a baby. we really must get together. strange, i miss you. love rose
from liar-by-rote :
oh, Claudine!
from spanklin :
Prolly wasn't me. Yesterday, which I believe was the 31st, I was working on Lexington and 51st. Don't feel guilty. When your budget allows it, sign up then. Hopefully you'll run into me then, I have even kinder eyes! I'm not full of myself at all.
from design-doll :
oh please invite me...
from bare-my-soul :
you better update before i leave or i'll be very disappointed!!! you're beautiful, you know that? i want to see you when i get back. xxxo rose
from bare-my-soul :
fabulous design!!! but i can't click on PREVIOUS and get your previous entry...that bums me out!!!
from liar-by-rote :
hi. i've seen that fantastic photo somewhere...the 50's doll. tell me where, oh please?
from design-doll :
that is one of my favorite cindy sherman pics... i took some with her in mind this weekend, i'll post them up later tonite... just thiking about you, m... xo
from propeller :
The coffin add is pretty hilarious, huh? I don't know if you've ever been to Italy but they're so obsessed with sex over there :(kinda makes it a fun place to be!) The fact that they're using sex to sell a coffin doesn't surprise me all too much really... <p>And I know that "I want someone there" feeling all too well...
from design-doll :
i can't keep anything either--- i'm going to sell my prized hand screenprinted screen bc i can't stand looking at it anymore- and out of all the paintings i've ever done- i only have one- and yesterday i was contemplating throwing it away- i just grow tired and make a new picture- artists can feel each other-
from design-doll :
i can see the whole story m... gorgeous...
from liar-by-rote :
loved you loved my entry.
from bare-my-soul :
same cycle. i'm a fat squirrel. today i had two pieces of pizza. who cares, i'm bloated and crampy, and i could bite someone's head off if they tried to tell me no pizza. wish i had a nordic track. your my friend.
from bloodyrose1 :
Hi darling...havn't spoken to you much lately so I just wanted to say hello. Stay beautiful xoxox
from liar-by-rote :
yes, i've read most of him. i'm excited for you. i'm not sure of your taste yet, but everybody loves Bukowski. especially people in prison;) Run with the Hunted is a good place to start too. it has some of his poetry in there. i love him so much but he was kind of a bastard. seems women hating but he's lying. he was just a scared, deviant writer.
from design-doll :
i already dig 'em babydoll... we're both so hip we should be kissed upon the feet on the L train by some big haired tight pants wearing cutie pie. ;) email me so we can get this art trade going! kcofer@eccta.org
from bare-my-soul :
you SHOULD be proud of your work, it's fantastic, and original and so are you! we missed each other last night. i was home writing, and you were painting. i would like to see your painting this week. please email me the address of the gallery and i will go!
from liar-by-rote :
i agree with you on the whole elizabethan idea for dress for sex. letter writing, corset wearing, burkas. did i mention Irac? oh well, sex is much more interesting when it's 'dirty'. condoms made sex sexier i think, i wish they were popular back in my H.S. days. those young piggy boys with their peckers new and shiny,,,jesus, what's wrong with me this morning?...have a great weekend.
from design-doll :
hehehe ok sounds hot! email me your address kcofer@eccta.org and i'll send you something out tomorrow or next week... do you have an image preference? i pretty much post em all on le diary... i have been loving your entries lately... making me all lustful... esp the one about watching the piano and a big sleigh bed... yum girl, yum.
from bare-my-soul :
okay baby cakes, what are you doing saturday night? are you in town?
from bare-my-soul :
listen, you need to call "just calm down", it's a massage place in chelsea, and the woman there let's artists hang their paintings for free. it's a way to get exposure. you sound ilke you had an emotional weekend. don't be mad about the L word. if we can't say it, then we can't be human. you're incredible. he is lucky to have you. want to go to some openings with me? let me know. love rose
from design-doll :

from design-doll :
i'm a size ten from a twelve too!!! good job girl! we're working out coast to coast! muah!
from design-doll :
the past is important for shaping yourself... funny you wrote about that, for thoughts of past minutes is where my brain has been flying to lately... it must mean something?
from bloodyrose1 :
Sometimes one must go backwards and retrace their steps to discover the path they missed the first time they walked. Keep on as if the acrylics are your blood and the canvas is your life. xoxox
from bare-my-soul :
shit, i'm reading your notes over and i think i may be stalking you, although i'm not sure. stalk to you later....and hope you find a studio space, like yesterday! you deserve it. love rose
from bare-my-soul :
i wish i could make the talk on saturday. i am a big fan of Nin. my birthmom is in town for the weekend. let me know the next time you're going to something like this. and CONGRADS on your showing! may be small, but it's a start! i'll be there for the reception. love rose
from bare-my-soul :
i'm so glad my words resonated. are you kidding? hey, i think proudnerd is mad at me. but i'm not sure. isn't life silly? i liked your last template better. but that's just me. i would love to design a template for you that illustrates your work! and why not. you should be proud. you're really good. i think i could do this for you, if you'd like. talk soon. love rose
from bloodyrose1 :
Only if you will be mine! :D <3 MWAH
from proudnerd :
Regarding the title of your last entry -- so sorry about that, I must have been a bit tipsy *blushes* <3 <3 <3

Maybe you and V should read literotica out loud to each other? It would probably make you pee yourself from laughing so hard but hey...u would totally be relaxed! Put on some sexy music, feed each other sexy food, give him a lapdance or a strip (but no touching!), masturbate in front of each other. Make it fun!
from design-doll :
i'm glad darling... things always do work out how they are supposed to. thinking about you on a different coast, not so different minds. it's the time of the season for loving.

A friend of mine had her daughter run away and she might be in the New York area. Please take a look at the picture. It's right at the top of my page and it will only take a second. If you have seen her the contact information is below. Thank You for your help, Rae-babe

self doubt is poison for the soul. have you ever read "The Artist's Way?" if not, check it out. it may be just what you need right now. if you have, pick it up again! i always do when i'm going through these sorts of things. not for nothing, based on your writing, and then honesty there, i think you'll do very well in your art! love rose
from bare-my-soul :
i hope you feel better. love rose.

"31. What did you do on your birthday? I handed in my senior thesis, and then with my thesis class went to a bakery on 6th ave and had coffee and pastries. Then I babysat a chihuahua named Ramon who only understood Spanish. I took him to a bar and sat him on my lap while I had too many martini's and waited for his owner to come back." ohclaudine!!! i laughed out loud at WORK and i really don't laugh OUT LOUD very often hahaha this is one of the funniest images i've ever had in my life... i like you so much.
