from raven72d :
Come back and write again.
from raven72d :
Japanese drummers? Interesting thought. Taiko drums?
from raven72d :
Good advice to small children about art.
from raven72d :
Art tools and houseplants in grey morning light--- yes!
from raven72d :
What esoteric symbols did you explore?
from raven72d :
So...hidden areas of your apartment? Dark secrets?
from raven72d :
Yes--- new entries! (23 January 18) Always glad to have you back.
from raven72d :
New entries! yay!
from jpop :
that is a very proper way to sleep!
from raven72d :
Will you update again?
from cannet :
surry bout yer ankle
from despierto :
i love teacher moments. i referred to you by your first name just last night to erik. ps. one year since we visited almost. . .. .wish i were visiting again.
from studionique :
Hello Panzuda, I bookmarked your diary awhile back because I wanted to start reading it, but your archives page doesn't work, did you disable it or something?
from cannet :
You taught her that!! Mad props and big loves. What I most remember about Dada was that Hannah Hoch added an 'h' to the end of her first name for symmetry. When everything is crazy and nothing matters, some things still matter. Symmetry.
from jpop :
crissy (did people ever call you that?) just saying hey hey, think you prolly are a super awesome teacher even tho ive never seen you teach, i just know you are.
from raven72d :
I know I must have seen your entries before, but I've been taking time this afternoon to look for new reads, and I do enjoy the diary here...
from cannet :
Yes please. Good chance I will be in NYC over Memorial Day weekend, but anytime you are in Boston I would love to see you. My fault for missing you the last time you were in town.
from saint-erin :
Was thinking about you and missing you during the holiday. Wish we were eating delicious food, drinking special drinks and watching good movies.
from cannet :
interesting and interesting-er. I tried to google this. Twin Peaks quote?
from cannet :
this is the pitch i chew. like this entry. it reads like a poem.
from despierto :
the part about the kindergartner and gluing the triangle. that is great. great. . . . great.
from cannet :
"what they don't know is i'm using the laughter as a way to deal with the sadness i feel when i get tough on the babies." This really moved me. We need more chatting, you and I. xo.
from cannet :
you deserve this break, whether or not you know how to live it. i've already said it, but i'm happy you got the job. now you can get the muppet puppet!
from cannet :
i also wish we took better care of each other.
from cannet :
i want to hang out too. i'm hoping to catch a bus down the first part of memorial day weekend. i want to see the whitney biennial before it goes down. in moving news, yes to new york one day (someday?), but probably not now. i need to live somewhere cheap. summer commune moscow idaho? google this. you are my girl. xo
from cannet :
we split
from leotard :
missyoumissyoumissyoumissyoumissyou
from cannet :
wow, embarrassing, i'm proving my lack of language literacy. i only know a few things in spanish. the word alfombra. and some pablo neruda: y me inclino a tu boca para besar la tierra.
from cannet :
i just noticed that your diary is panzuda. this whole time i have read it panduza. backstory?
from whitepants :
Giiiirl...prenatal vitamins? (raises eyebrows excitedly!)
from leotard :
EW.
from leotard :
I knew I could count on you!
from raven72d :
Really fun entries.
from cannet :
can i say that i am missing you so much?
from jpop :
Its because we love babes!
from despierto :
i would like to find those sun tunnels. will you tell me how to get there and take me there and leave me there to set up house? but really i wanted to say that i feel similarly about biking without headphones. especially by the river. i like the river sounds. i like to simplify the experience. it's just better.
from thegorbott :
c had a dream that she was in a tiger-cage jail for murder. you were in for rape, but kari came to see you everyday.
from whitepants :
Wriiiiiiite me a letter!
from thegorbott :
i love massart a lot. more than i thought i would. but from what i hear, their photo program beats many of their other programs (good professors), but i think painting is probably cool too. but i really do love it here.
from asyourghost :
really, you were going to get a tattoo? why did the artist refuse? and p.s. once i was babysitting a 10 year old and he was CREEPY in a skeeeeeevy way. at 10 years old! sad sad
from cannet :
what did you want a tattoo of?
from thegorbott :
panzuda, you should consider MassArt for Grad school. i mean, think about it man!?
from whitepants :
I AM THE CERTAIN SOMEONE!!!
from despierto :
variety is totally and absolutely key for me, too. everything about the brooklyn job posting sounds perfect. i would just substitute bookbinding in there. :)
from saint-erin :
http://homesicktexan.blogspot.com/2009/04/chipotle-ketchup-changes-everything.html Let's power pump on tuesday.
from leotard :
Jeff's brother really does look like Adrian Brody. I had totally forgotten about that.
from despierto :
no. there is a box full of bad apples on my back porch, and you are not there.
from despierto :
i loved that itinerary. i mean, the way you wrote it. love love love loved.
from hold-it :
Come visit Cambridge! It is awesome!
from jpop :
here is a picture! its not the best but you kinda get the point.
from jpop :
did you know my brother looks like ADRIAN BRODY?
from asyourghost :
who doesn't?!
from cannet :
i always respond to your writing and i wanted you to know how much i appreciate that.
from despierto :
i hope you will choose me as one of them. this has been a hard week. i am in summerland too. weird because winter here is not that oppressive. nothing like the freezing darkness that is new england.
from despierto :
i like all these things you are writing! we had brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes for sunday dinner!
from thebid :
we are supposed to learn stick so we can drive back with kari. !
from whitepants :
You should make that person ME. Visit me, once I am gone!
from whitepants :
Which one deals with poop? And what does it mean if I get a stomach ache?
from thegorbott :
i am ready to try out a new year too
from despierto :
yes!!!!!!!!!!!! this was the basis of the literacy program i worked for in the shelters. it's amazing. that portion of TAL was so great--i'm assuming you've been listening to it.
from asyourghost :
and what makes you think i don't already drink poison?!
from despierto :
i will help you be aggressive about your show if you want. i want the same for myself. . . . but, no bindery, no time = no new books. but i'm working on it. i made a list.
from whitepants :
diaryland vs. blogs I mean, not diaryland/blogs
from whitepants :
Maybe this is weird but one thing that I think is different about diaryland/blogs (or maybe that USED to be different) was that it was all about trying to get people to be better friends with you rather than...maybe wanting people to admire you? So then we'd woo people by praising them in entries rather than woo people by talking ourselves up (not that that never happened). I miss ol' time diaryland.
from cannet :
i stopped saying that my hair was dark brown in elementary school because no one listened. oh dads, oh worlds. i miss you crystal.
from asyourghost :
wow thank you!
from jpop :
why are you not going to speak at church anymore? are you moving? giving up the faith? joining a bike gang?
from asyourghost :
yeah, a little girl, almost 2 weeks ago! we named her Damien.
from whitepants :
I can't BELIEVE you spoke while I was out of town. I demand a redo.
from despierto :
are you in missouri?
from thegorbott :
1. WANTED. i loved it and hated it 2. i skanked to the toasters as well. at a concert called 'skavoovee' at the black cat or 930 club or capitol ballroom or somewhere.
from cannet :
i love poetry! favorites: jorie graham, allen ginsberg, and stanley kunitz. tell me who you like as you read!
from jpop :
i miss you too man. yeah, us grown up utah kids are pretty weird these days. weird and RAD.
from jpop :
i am over enemies too. too much drama with those kids you know??
from whitepants :
Does that mean you are moving into Tyler and Kristen's place? I am SO excited. We can eat meals together, play games together, love my dog together, etc. etc.!
from whitepants :
You may want to get your eyes checked again to see if you need a prescription update--I just read a weird story about someone who wore the wrong prescription for a long time and really effed up her eyes--- http://talesfromthecrib.blogspot.com/2008/04/why-i-am-moronpart-1.html
from cannet :
sexy sexy carrie in the city!
from despierto :
more sympathetic to craft, eh? that means more sympathetic to me. don't you not like this new diaryland blahness?
from jpop :
though i do wish that, i was REALLY trying to say that i liked that entry. but i think that would be a pretty good accomplishment you know? on my tombstone it will say: jeff owens-middle school pioneer.
from jpop :
your entry about middle school made me wish i invented it.
from jpop :
you are so mean.
from whitepants :
I know--bring back the pale purple and cursive writing!
from thegorbott :
i am so fascinated by golden rectangles. i want to do a whole body of work based on golden rectangles.
from cannet :
i love the henry darger movie! we should be the vivian girls for halloween, but i think our mistaken parts would frighten the parents of the ghosts and witches! i updated for you (and for me) but at your encouragement.
from despierto :
sleep on your back? or sleep with two of me on both your feet?
from cannet :
especially sexual habits! i love you and so does my friend cate. can we live closer?
from whitepants :
It's true! Spencer and I are always like, "Is this normal?!" And then we just started watching a bunch of Ingmar Bergman movies so we can say, "Well! Our relationship is a lot better than THAT!"
from whitepants :
You know, I don't think that pooping is always unpleasant. Am I in the minority on this?
from whitepants :
Married couples don't talk about the intimate details of their marriage. Spencer and I have talked about this a lot, because it makes it hard to know what marriage is like, besides in your own very subjective experience. I will say we've had some very serious fights. But that's all I'll say! Good luck to Edan in taking the LSAT!
from paperfriend :
am i one of those you imagine fighting with raised voice?
from hold-it :
I'm surprised you haven't seen me wearing red lipstick before! I used to wear it all the time!
from hold-it :
I'm glad you had a good time even though it was CRAZY! What exactly did you do, just teach classes? Was it a special field trip thing?
from hold-it :
we missed you and I hope you are having a good time! I never gave you my address to send me a postcard. :(
from cannet :
just one of the many reasons i love you is that you get what i am talking about! do you get what i am talking about?
from paperfriend :
is there exceptional fabric sold in portscrown? portscrown is what one man who is i calls portland.
from whitepants :
Spencer and I are going to Portland in a few weeks! We're really looking forward to it, too!
from despierto :
even tho i already read this entry yesterday and know that it said "children" just a second ago i read it "do chicken know they when they are dressed beautifully?" .....
from paperfriend :
crystal, zuda. a few questions. what is the meaning of panzuda? what is your new job? what strange truths are you learning? what is the nature of truth? that last question is a joke, best left to professional philosophers.
from cannet :
lets run until our legs drop dead and then hold hands and sings songs and carry back the people to weak to run anymore in the fireman's carry where we link arms and our arms become the seat.
from whitepants :
If you are in Provo, then we will be "neighbors". I wouldn't expect you to be our literal neighbors, because we are living in Wymount.
from whitepants :
Is P-Town Provo??? Does that mean we will be neighborinos? If so, I am ridiculously excited and plotting on how to become your new BFF.
from asyourghost :
ooh, although Thursdays are those twilight things at the gallivan center! this week is Dr. Dog who has one song that i hate and therefore have decided to hate all the songs, but rick really likes them so were going
from asyourghost :
yes! we should go sometime, sometime SOON! is thursday chickenfriedsteakday there? do you know how late they are open? ricks off at 5. if they are open after that we should go either this thursday or next!
from hold-it :
i want to see the simpsons with you!
from cannet :
i love your entry about shapes
from jpop :
also i will try with the tattoos! i live in san jose now so it will be a little harder, being that i don't know as many people here. but i can still do so. first i must have a camera! but if i do i will surely send them. my first tattoos will be of a watermelon and steak, respectively.
from jpop :
crystal, your diary has always been one of my favorites.
from cannet :
reading your latest i thought, wow i love writers (toni) and readers (you&me) and those enchiladas you made for jason and i two summers ago at your house with kari and christina when we neither had boys nor sense. i miss you sweet tea twin
from stupidmuffin :
i think you could be the most amazing artist but without business skills no one might ever know about it. likewise, you could be the worst artist on the planet but AMAZING at business and make millions (a.k.a. thomas kinkade)
from sevenflowers :
always a treat to have a classic like panzuda update.
from hold-it :
I was going to say the same that those below me did. Why are you holding out on us?!
from lovaliss :
Locked!! Password?
from cannet :
locked! oh a blow to the heart!
from despierto :
locked?
from paperfriend :
i really enjoyed alex's band.
from paperfriend :
david sedaris? waaa happened?
from lovaliss :
Thank you for welcoming me back. You are one of the people I would like to talk to the most in person soon. Hey, tell me about hanging out with David Sedaris.
from jpop :
like a real live nazi? a skinhead? a nazi?! that is weird, i guess they still exist.
from thebid :
what have you done! sick. don't googly poop on me again! promise! heh.
from paperfriend :
sleepily screaming is so funny.
from thebid :
dear crystal, how was the science of sleep? was there much to object to in it? kristina beacom and i might go see it at the independent theater at coolidge corner. if you write me back, you can write back to gmail instead of leaving a note. maybe i will send you a long email. also, soon i will have a new blog to share with you and k.
from thebid :
dear crystal, you are nice and good to me! i needed to talk to someone so bad when we talked, so you were a dream come true! a dream to chase away the nightmare that sometimes overshadows all that is good and delightsome in my life. i have been having many quite vivid dreams since moving to boston. i'll try to remember them more often and write them down so you can tell me what they mean! love!
from cannet :
i think you are the babe of all babes. have a married sleepover with max and me and elizabeth (im the odd man here) and we will draw pictures and make up make up makeup i dont know. xo lets do self-portrait collages like your mom did. a baby in the womb!
from hold-it :
i hope i am the elizabeth you meant. you can draw me and i will teach you make-up
from whitepants :
Thanks for sleeping at my house! It was great to see you again!
from lovaliss :
If I were there I would teach you to put on makeup...however, I am not...because I have still have 4 months, 1 week, and three days left. And I would gladly take a palm reading as replacement.
from adelie :
you are beautiful, baby. a beautiful baby.
from hold-it :
i hope you are coming soon...or are here. i think feeling lonely as a married person can sometimes feel worse than loneliness as a single person.
from thebid :
we are doing the same thing! sorting through stuff and loving it!
from whitepants :
I think if I go to Portland I have to be back by the 18th, because we would be going to visit Spencer's dad, but his mom is visiting us on the 18th (if I remember correctly).
from thebid :
i'm so madly, wildly curious as to what edan's impression of me was like that i just peed on that same spot on the carpet!
from whitepants :
When will you be in Utah? I will be here, except for that I may go on a short trip to Portland sometime in the next few weeks...but I hope I am here! I want to see you!
from thegorbott :
i cannot begin to explain the bizarre things i am asked to frame. one was a gigantic (roughly 30x60") nude portrait. on an unrelated note, i was listening to a song (the title and singer of which i don't presently recall) which reminded of times when we (mikey, kari, you, me, jon, etc, etc) would hang out a lot and even play b-ball. can you believe that those events took place more than one year ago? i cannot either.
from jpop :
he insane clown posse followerers (ICP) are called juggalos. you should read about them on wikipedia. they are so WEIRD!
from hold-it :
that is outrageous! (the word of the day) i can make as much damn money as i want
from paperfriend :
what about you and i? we have SO much in common!!!
from hold-it :
we also both have curly hair, are married and i speak spanish too! (but not well anymore)
from hold-it :
i am exxxcitedtoo!
from jpop :
i am honored you thought of me during a mountain goats song! the covey studio is not too small. me and jesse pay 510, and it is one living room connected with the bedroom, a very open space that i think would be nice for you and edan. they also have other apartments that are different sizes then ours, and some where the living room and bedroom are rooms instead of the open space. when are you moving here?!
from mymess :
that is up to you because we will include anything sent here that is the right size. original art seems like it would look nicer though. but it's cool, just whatever!
from paperfriend :
thank you. i think it is going to take me a long while to win back amanda's trust, which is totally understandable, but it sucks for me!!!! i hope i can do it!!!!
from hold-it :
I WANT THAT TOO!!! i love answering questions about (s-e-x) i also want you to move to salt lake.
from mymess :
crystal, i have met you, i believe. i don't know if you would have remembered, i remember bc i had heard a lot about you from kari. so hello. if you come to heck fest, i will see you! if you want.
from paperfriend :
you mean because of your race?!
from hold-it :
i need to watch word up and perhaps beat my grandmother!
from paperfriend :
crystal, sorry for the harsh tone of my note. i guess i was offended when you said cheap over generalization and so lashed out in defense, but i hope there are no hard feelings between us!!!!!!!!! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! i also thought, for a long time, spinal tap was a real band!!!!!!!!! ! ! ! when i saw you had left me a note i was nervous to check it because i felt bad about the harsh tone of my note!!!
from thegorbott :
crystal! you wont believe this. almost the exact same scrabble experience occured in my life with only one difference. i COULD have played quiz on a double letter/triple word score while spelling a second word. however, the opportunity was stolen from me, and the word "fun" was spelled in its place. this was a game against my brother, step mom, and dad. to this day i lement the word "fun" for that reason.
from whitepants :
Until very recently, I thought Spinal Tap was a real band too.
from msea :
Three cheers for marriage! and your entries and comments
from chrisalmond :
thank you for sharing your thoughts. i think i addressed some of the issues you raised in my most recenty entry. i agree with your point about being understanding of the oppressors because oppressing, ' as much victims of cultural ideology as those in the minority. ' i agree with this statement very much and i apoligize if i have not allowed it to show through in my writing. i disagree with your judgement that 'to imply that the church needs to "catch up with the times" as defined by those who somehow know more through cultural analysis is an overgeneralization and cheap explination of the nature of religion and religious doctrine.' i wonder if you are not very familiar with the history of religions. in my studies i have been overwhelmed by the degree to which each religion is a manifestation of the culture and times from which they are produced. not only is our church not an exception but a prime example. if you study the jacksonian era from which our church arose, one may be impressed how very much church ideals are a strong reflection of the cultural values of that time. to give a few minor examples, the word of wisdom (temperence movements discouraging the use of alcohol, tabbaco, tea and coffee were big at that time)communal living was huge. the notion that native americans had descended from the hebrews, and on and on to include just about everything except plural marriage. if one studies the changes that have been made in church teachings over the years one will be impressed to what level they reflect the changes in cultural attitudes. even the several changes in the temple ceremony that have occured over the years very much reflect the changes in societal attitudes. some of the most recent changes, (not the most recent, but the ones involving penalties a couple decades ago) followed shortly after the church had released a survey to some church members, some of the questions asking about their temple experience and how it made them feel. i also disagree with your statement that the church disapproved of of interracial marriage is because blacks were denied the priesthood. if that were merely the reason, especially in brigham youngs day, why would <i>death</i> be the penalty? i may be wrong but i have not heard any church authorities teach that people should not marry between races because of of blacks denial of the priesthood.(though perhaps you could provide me with some sources to show me otherwise) if you read spencer kimballs remarks on the subject made in the sixties he only cites reasons of greater lack of compatablity between races. http://www.lightplanet.com/family/marriage/interracial_marriage.html on an interesting side note, david o. mckay and hugh b. brown, said that the denial of blacks to the priesthood has never actually been church doctrine but merely a policy, and is not supported by revelation. even joseph smith gave the priesthood the the occasional negro. you may find this article interesing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blacks_and_the_Church_of_Jesus_Christ_of_Latter-day_Saints i think the article mistakenly implies that david o. mckay felt the ban was a doctrine by his belief that a revelation was required to overturn the ban. while it is true he felt that way, he also explicitly stated the denial of blacks to the priesthood was a policy not a doctrine.
from paperfriend :
yeah, i doubt it too.
from jpop :
panbaby, when i worked at einsteins a couple years ago, i would listen to sean hannity almost every day. not really because i liked it, but because i would be washing dishes for hours and his show is three every day. three hours! he would really make me mad so much and make me barf as well, and a lot of times i would turn it to a pop station, though there were many times when i would listen to all three hours. it was right before the election, so he was even more annoying then usual. i wanted kerry to win onlyfor the fact that it would make sean hannity so mad.
from paperfriend :
that sex entry was really funny because we all know you are just married and know just what that means! those of us who are not married are jealous you get to have sex!
from hold-it :
where did you find birth of a nation?! we are so into sex! (you and i)
from jpop :
more movies then me? as if!!!
from cheekyash :
wow, i absolutely love your diary
from cannet :
i didnt like noi either. it had the potential for so much but just made me sad. honestly i didnt see the whole thing. i watched it with edan and jason and i fell asleep. but edan summarized it for me. i would give you that summary now, but im not sure you have finished watching the movie?
from hold-it :
will you send me a drawing/letter? i will send one back... max and i went antique shopping yesterday!
from jpop :
i bet a lot od mutants could turn newspapers and cigarette butts into cakes, but they are too busy saving the world!!!!!!!!!
from thegorbott :
i think that some comic lines have made positive characters in their comic strips, none of which came to much success. most of them, however, were much more practical than "center piece lady." they're powers included things like fighting poachers or planting trees. maybe if marvel did it with x-men it would be more noticed.
from jpop :
i have!! like you, i did not read the book. i really had no idea what it was about, so i thought the story was pretty interesting. but the movie was pretty clunky and long (they did have to fit a lot into 2.5 hours). it is funny, cause i had seen and heard so much about the da vinci code (the book), all the specials on tv and what not, but i never watched one untill last night. there was a special on the history channel, about the truth behind it, and i was quite fascinated by the myth of it all. my mom can't understand why people would think jesus has a baby, but i actually like the idea somewhat, even if it isn't true. just the thought of jesus having a kid is comforting to me. it makes who he is more relatable as a person.
from jpop :
panzuda, tom cruise's body in mission impossible is pretty great. but i guess his body in cocktail is not as ripped as in MI3, so thus more attractive.
from cannet :
that is easily the best diaryland note i have ever gotten. nothing better than some x-ing and o-ing these days. its just that bambi season
from thegorbott :
my summer plans include, but are not limited to: working, sailing, kissing, traveling, napping.
from chrisalmond :
oh. does it run through a gonzaga server or anything? i will tell you why i ask. starting around the time you moved to spokane my sitemeter has been showing a reader from gonzaga.
from nations :
crystala: I miss you so much right now. I miss how you notice and treasure the little, beautiful, important things some people might overlook. You sound so happy, I'm glad. JeNations
from thegorbott :
i have been pretty into diaryland lately. yours is one of my favorites
from chrisalmond :
have you been using the computer lab at gonzaga?
from chrisalmond :
well, the one up now is by harrell fletcher, www.harrellfletcher.com and the one that was up yesterday when christina asked is by yuri ono www.myono.com
from paperfriend :
crystal, marriage appears to have given you diaryland fever!
from cannet :
oh crystal i love your thoughts on marriage and intimacy. tell edan i laughed for about 10 minutes about his dangerous potato pun. are you guys living in seattle? sorry i dont know, really embarrassing. let me know. i want to stop through and visit this august-ish when i am in the west!
from thebid :
MORE!
from paperfriend :
those could very well be true. we will soon find out. i was planning on asking him about it during my next visit.
from thebid :
we are in somewhat opposite moods right now. but i'm so so so happy for you you you and can't wait wait wait to visit in a month month month (perhaps sooner than you would wish, heh heh). i miss you whispering in my ear at night and you calling people "buttercup" in your sleep. i'm glad when people get married it's not like they've died and that we can still talk and be friends and be close even tho it's less close. i love you!
from hold-it :
not a dumb question! blankets really is one of my favorite books ever. but i've not read persepolis yet i'm a little embarassed to say
from jpop :
the story of my life!
from cannet :
oh baby girl i love reading your diary. it reminds me of grown up thoughts and little kid adventures and i love you and am happy for the cinco de mayo!
from kindbegger :
i remember kari telling chris and i how much you love having buttery movie theater popcorn when you go to the movies. i am glad to know that it is true!
from gigihodges :
to get to my diary the username is "gigihodges" and my password is "the death of a disco dancer" (with spaces).i really dont care if others read this bc it is just one person i am blocking out. and not for selfish reasons either.
from paperfriend :
oh yeah, i totally for got about that place and i even worked there for one week!!!! you know what? they have really good pizza.
from paperfriend :
there is a pizza place on center? was that an entry from the past?
from cannet :
sweet sweat potatoes! my organs are moved all around, squished inside my tummy like a corsetted girl. xo
from jpop :
great look! you have written so many entries today!
from thebid :
woah, baby! what happened! i'm so jealous. i've always wanted to take the time to redesign my page, but i barely know how? are you at work? i am at work and am sending this note in my head! love!
from whitepants :
I really like the new layout...something new for my eyes to behold bee-hold!
from paperfriend :
is it me you are jealous of?
from cannet :
what songs baby girl?
from cannet :
what songs baby girl?
from cannet :
we should still be roommates. i can sleep in the middle! eh? eh? ok maybe its too late for these fantasies; but we would have been quite the pair!
from jpop :
yeah, i can empathize with you. i did not feel like i had a good guy friend to hang out with untill recently. usually i have been closer to girls than guys. it's nice to have both of those groups. they offer different things which is really important (romantically or not).
from jpop :
am i he who you want to invite into your heart? it is probably eden huh?
from paperfriend :
i think that is true. but there are also very many parables and symbols that were not understood even by the people of the time. as an example many things from the book of isaiah, and some parables of jesus. which even his apostles did not understand. and what about something like the temple ceremony? something revealed in, more or less, our time, although it is said to have ancient roots, but is incomprehensible by many.
from bikeride :
crystal-> i feel like i havent seen you in a bajillion ages!! remember when we used to work together and have dance parties all day everyday? me too. ->elaine
from jpop :
crystal please please please let us go to the movies soon. maybe tomorrow. i really want to see eight below. my mom told me a very good story about it. i can tell you!
from jpop :
panzuda that is good to know! i have been trying to never say just kidding in writing lately, just cause i feel it nullifies everything that i say. for whatever reason. and that i don't need to be apologetic of what i say or feel, whether funny or not. PANZUDA!!!
from paperfriend :
are you that woman who ate the pizza?
from thebid :
crystal, sometimes . . . .well, almost all the time. .. maybe all the time, your writing kind of takes my breath away. it is beautiful and great and great and good!
from gigihodges :
the pizza parable is my life story. and the lovesickness is my life story only it is a sad sad tale.
from whitepants :

from jpop :
crystal i woulod love too. i am not sure what we would do but we can talk about it. i have never really written "abstractly" before so i am trying it out. and i find that i enjoy it very much. i was going to come over tonight, maybe we will talk about it then? (that is tuesday night)
from kindbegger :
crystal! this is me, the REAL orem meg. i am "kindbeggEr", not "kindbeggAr". although the latter may be gramatically correct, it is not me... i think it might be chris playing a joke...
from thebid :
what are you talking about? :) hey, can you blame me for being paranoid? okay, so i'm overly protective and possessive of my things. but i did already fork over a bundle. i'd rather not do it again....... ps. you can hug me and attempt to tickle me and give me back rubs [almost] whenever you want. it reassures me that you still like me. :) plus, even tho i'm not affectionate, i am. in a bid sort of way.
from thebid :
jerk.. . .. i mean, have some anytime, my sweet, sweet roommate.
from paperfriend :

from madman78 :
You wrote: i like being sung stories by strangers and loved ones. it is something that does not happen on accident though. you have to pull at people to tell you a story these days. they think their stories aren't going to interest you.i like to be told stories. your stories interest me. tell me stories. And I sing this song that I didn't write: http://www.humanity.org/voices/commencements/speeches/index.php?page=sting_at_berklee Joy! madman

from whimsy :
this isn't from whimsy, this is from the panzuda fan club. we miss your obsessive entries so much, but we're sure you're being productive with school work and such instead. good luck and hope to hear from you soon! love, the fanatics
