I used to be Christian years ago and then when I realized how closed minded people were and the fact that they couldn't answer most of my questions about the religion itself (even the ministers/preachers) I found it very annoying. So I decided to look into other religions and that's when I was introduced to Wicca. It's not all about comformity and following the same path as everyone else, there are so many diffent options, opinions, and views depending on the course you take and there is always something new to learn. I would say it sounds like everyone you work with respects you as a person and respects your opinion about people. Maybe they see that you don't jump to conclusions about people and first impressions don't hold you back from getting to know someone. It's only when they fuck you over that you take a stand against them and you have good reason to. Respect amongst your peers has a great amount of power...and responsibility to in some cases. I also love R.A. Salvatore with his Drizzt Do'Urden series...he's awesome. James Patterson...the first (and only so far) book I read from him was Kiss the Girls. I was hooked from the get-go. He is such an amazing writer, slightly disturbing, but all horror/suspense writers have to get into that psychopathic killer mindset to achieve the desired effect, right? They actually didn't do too bad on the movie either! I was surprised, usually I don't watch a movie if it's based on a book but I said oh what the hell I'll give it a shot...they couldn't fuck it up too bad. I'm pretty sure I have at least one or two more of his books packed away still in the shed, I'm hoping to dig out the books I have in there so hopefully that will give me plenty to read in the next couple of months or so, then maybe I'll stop buying books! That is super ironic...when I was in wal-mart a few weeks ago, looking at the books, a lady started talking to me and she recommended that I read Laurell K. Hamilton, specifically the Anita Blake series...so I bought Guilty Pleasures but I haven't started to read it yet. Christine Feehan is another good writer, and I love Nicholas Sparks. I read a good variety of books. I've been reading a series by Alison Croggon, the first book is called The Naming...I'm on the third book already. It's really good actually. I tend to read more Fantasy then anything. Eragon is one of my favorites. And there is a vampire series I've been reading called The House of Night Series, the first book is titled Marked. It's kind of a teenage type genre book, the characters are very gossip like and kind of silly but I like how the authors portrey the vampires and how they associate them to wicca and the elements of nature, it's very interesting. Dean Koontz is amazing. Door to December is one of my favs by him. And I know what you mean, if I don't have a book to read I go crazy, I used to spend a lot of time at the library when I wasn't working so I didn't have money to buy a book, I would check out like 8 books and usually bring them back within two to three weeks because I didn't have anything to do but read. Ok there is so much more I could say but I think this is long enough ;).

Oh wow that is so odd. We are a lot alike it's starting to creep me out in the coolest way. I love reading, and I only watch a handful of tv shows but usually I pass them up to read. My fav. shows to watch make you think. I like NCIS, CSI (Before Grissom left), Ghost Hunters, and Paranormal State. I'm into spirituality and ghosts and stuff like that. It's always interested me and I've had some experiences of my own. I've been writing poetry since the 8th grade. I wrote short stories and things like that before then but I didn't get into poetry until after I was introduced to it in depth. We moved around a lot and all the schools taught different things at different times so I have quite a few gaps in my learning, or had I should say, I have done studying of my own to get caught up...but english was one of the subjects I never felt left behind on. I love writing and reading. I'm hoping to live long enough to see some of my stuff published, and I'm currently working on a fantasy novel. It's nice to find someone else on here who has the same interests as me...doesn't happen to often, not many geeks as there used to be! But us geeks are cool too damn it! What genre(s) of books do you read? What was the last one that you have read?

It's ok I like reading books! It's one of my favorite things to do actually. My desk is almost full of them, I need to get a bookshelf soon or I won't have any place to put them all...or I should stop buying them but I don't see that happening anytime soon. So I guess my point is, write as much or as little as you want! I love my sisters to pieces...we are really close. We never used to be but then we grew up. My niece saved my life many years ago, she doesn't even know it. I was in a severe depression and nearly committed suicide until I saw her picture and had to stop. I couldn't leave her like that, she's too precious, and now I have my nephew to keep me going too. Kids are wonderful. Anyways I'm gonna go lay down. Laters!

Yes I have three sisters. Two of them are older and one is younger. This journal is mostly my poetry. I tried to keep a regular diary type journal as well but I ususally don't write in it and when I do I tend to hold things back or I delete all the entries eventually anyways. I also have a niece and nephew from my oldest sister whom I cherish with all my heart, they are my life and I don't know what I'd do if anything happened to them...anyways I'll stop rambling!

Yes you are right, a back up plan is always a good thing to have, and finishing high school has started to become required to get any kind of job really. Sounds like he's got a good sister to help him stay on the right path. Hopefully his dream will come true and hopefully yours will as well!

It's ok to dream. It's ok to dream big. It's not ok to dream big and have no motivation to persue that dream because then you are pretty much letting yourself down. Who knows, he could become a famous rapper! Dream big but always keep your dream in mind and follow it and you might be surprised with what you can accomplish!
