Glad you are better, that must've been very scary being there for so long. And oh, Clifton TX? Okay, that's awesome! I thought it was Clifton, NJ ! And I hope your father and your husband reconcile their differences! Hope you are doing well and I hope you had a good thanksgiving!
from julymalaise :
How long were you kept in the hospital? And that's good that your parents helped and your husband as well while you were recovering. Glad work is going well. Clifton..do you live in NJ by any chance? I know there is a Clifton there. Anyway, that's cool and glad to hear things are going well with you and the baby!
from julymalaise :
Two months? Wow, time is flying by fast! And I'm glad you are happy to be back at work. Glad you were able to pick up from where you left off! Lol! Such a cute picture, by the way!
from julymalaise :
I'm glad you are doing well! And I'm sorry to hear about what happened, but glad that you recovered and were able to stay here with your family and baby. Your baby has a pretty name! Aww, very happy for you! And I'm doing well. I have been doing good!
from daath :
Why thank you! I appreciate that.
from stepfordtart :
Gah! Men! I dont really understand the whole healthcare/welfare system over there but its incomprehensible to me that a person who has been so sick, and has a new baby in the house, is having to struggle like this. Get your men together and say you dont need any more stress in your life and if they dont sort their shizzle out then youre moving to England! s x
from stepfordtart :
Hey Girl! Congratulations to you and yours! Ive just send you a friend request on FB (and a message, too, but it'll probably go into your spam or something cos we're not friends there yet) Look out for me! s xx
from julymalaise :
Congrats. Aweee!!
from julymalaise :
Glad that everything is well with you and the baby's health and it is wonderful that your mother will be helping with the baby when it arrives.
from julymalaise :
OMG, can't wait when the baby arrives! Lol, glad that you are doing well!!
from stepfordtart :
Awww :-( I had to google WIC - what happens if you call them up and tell them you have no transport? Is there a 'good neighbour' scheme or something like that where you are? Maybe they could help with taking you to appointments and such. Its got to be worth asking, huh? You cant be the only one in your situation. Over here, of course, the good old NHS takes care of everything and its all free, so we do tend to take it for granted. Im sorry to hear youre sounding so down. Being pregnant sucks - you feel like crapola and the hormones dont help. If I was nearer I would come round (bringing soup and cake, obviously!) and give you a squeeze and try and make you laugh til you nearly pee. Lots of love from Cyber-Mum xx
from stepfordtart :
Hey! Great news! Many congratulations to you and yours. s x
from julymalaise :
Hey, I missed you so! I haven't updated in ages, but I'm back!
from stepfordtart :
Aww, I dont do FB :-( Any chance you would email one to me? [email protected] s x
from stepfordtart :
Yay! Thats lovely! Do we get pictures? s x
from dangerspouse :
CONGRATULATIONS!! May you both have many rioutously happy years together, and never fall into either a torpor or grim resignation at the sight of the other. Keep it fresh, and keep it going! :)
from bliss-sad :
Sending you lots and lots and lots of love and light!
from mythicraven :
Still lurking around!
from stepfordtart :
Have you tried lightinthebox.com for wedding gowns? Lovely dresses and very reasonably priced. s x
from koorikaze :
If you are interested, I still have my bridal gown. I was going to donate it, but if you are interested, I can take a few pictures and share the dimensions. It isn't going to get any more use. ^^;
from koorikaze :
Congrats, sweetie! Sounds like life is being very kind to you and yours right now. I am so happy for you. And what a cute picture. :)
from stepfordtart :
Hey! Nice to hear from you - and a lovely photo, too! s x
from koorikaze :
I'm sorry to hear about your friend problem. I really hope the situation ends happily whether she remains as a friend or not. *hug*
from stepfordtart :
Im a big fan of the 'half an hour before the alarm's due to go off' morning wake-up call. L is like a zombie in the mornings but he'll rise to the occasion by instinct and I can pounce before he's properly awake. hehehe. s x
from koorikaze :
Well my hubby and I are pack rat sentimentalists, meaning we tend to keep everything that means something to us, even if it's a hospital bracelet or concert ticket stub. Lol!
from koorikaze :
Yay for almost being done setting up house. My hubby and I still have boxes of items we never looked at. And sorry about your phone. It's a major bummer and I've been there, although the culprit was baby drool.
from lostasyou :
Hii! I had you on my buddy list when I was listed as "omfggwtf" hahaha, I just caught you in the online box, so I'm going to add you back! I just moved to a different diary, that's all :)
from julymalaise :
Oh, you're quite welcome, I just loove your diary!
from julymalaise :
Lovely layout, I like it, just fits the occasion that will be coming soon...
from stepfordtart :
Why should you not do whatever makes you happy? Anyone who doesnt like it can go fuck themselves. s x PS Sorry, I forgot to say SQUEEEEEEE!!!! Very happy for you, dear.
from stepfordtart :
..........*waits patiently* : ) s x
from koorikaze :
Whoo hoo! We like great news. ^^
from stepfordtart :
Aha! Kids clothes, all books and most food/drink (not 'luxury' items, like booze and chocolate!) are tax free here anyway so it wouldnt be such a draw for UK mummys! Thanks for explaining. s x
from stepfordtart :
Several people need a slap by the sound of it - not you, dear! Tax free weekend? We dont have that here - sometimes you might get a 'we'll pay the VAT' offer but its usually only on high value white goods. I checked out the US tax rates online and it doesnt seem like its ever more than 10%. Do people really get that worked up about a 10% max saving or am I missing something, what with me being a foreigner and all?! s x
from koorikaze :
Thank you so much for the kind note. Yeah, things are normally hectic lol. One would think I'd be used to the insanity. But I am just glad that storm is behind us and I can use this as a reminder that things will eventually work out. Sorry things seem to be down in the dumps for you. In-laws are strange creatures sometimes. O_o *hugs*
from stepfordtart :
OK, well, whatever it was its made you feel like crap (by the sound of it), so I think its safe to say youve atoned for your transgression. s x
from stepfordtart :
No bell? What kind of backward third world country are you living in?! Its an abomination! An abomination, I tell you! s x
from stepfordtart :
Dont you just ring a bell and hold the eggs up in the air like they do here? Then someone trots over, goes "?" and the cashier goes "barcode?" and the other person scuttles away to deal with it whilst you ring up the rest of the cart. Either that, or the customer will sometimes nip back and get another one (with a barcode on).Cashiers dont leave their stations to do that shit, thats just silly! GRRRRRR (on your behalf!) s x
from stepfordtart :
I hate loathe and detest those self-serve checkouts. I always go to a proper human cashier, even if the queue is long and there's some smiley person trying to force me onto the self serve line. Having worked in a shop (and all the horrors that entails!) I have no desire to do it again, but this time without getting paid! I would always be in your line, dear, with you as a regular human cashier! Things are OK here, thanks for asking, I need to update as there's one or two things I need to get off my chest but Ive got Bloggers Block at the moment - just cant seem to get started! s x
from stepfordtart :
Hey. Thinking good thoughts for you, dear. Oh, and 'first pair of heels'? How can that be?....although, I am now at the age where I look at the flats and think "oooh, they look comfy". It can only be a matter of time til I actually buy a pair! s x
from stepfordtart :
Umm. Im a bit confused. I just clicked back through a whole bunch of old entries but I still couldnt make it make sense. Im really REALLY sorry if Im being a dumbass but is Eric in jail? How did I miss that? Could you possibly fill in the detail for me, or set me straight if Ive got the wrong end of the stick. Oh, and I could send L over for that slow dance if you need a proxy - at 6'5" and with a Lonnnnnng reach, he gives good slowdance (with added cuddle!). Hope you're ok. s x
from jaysthoughts :
*offers slow dance*
from stepfordtart :
Actually, you jolly well WERE missed! Congrats on the new job - do you get a staff discount? Hope so - Walmart is Asda over here and they sell EVERYTHING, dont they?! Nice to hear from you. s x
from stepfordtart :
As English accents go, that was a pretty good one! Thanks for attempting it. And even more thanks for not saying 'British accent' as there is no such thing. We are a mixture of nations, all with our own particularly stupid way of saying things and we get jolly pissy when people mix them into one big amorphous blob. Pip pip, old bean! s x
from stepfordtart :
Aww. I think anyone finding themselves in your situation would be feeling depressed (no matter how much they loved their Mawmaw!) - dont be too hard on yourself. Hope things get back to normal soon. s x
from omfggwtf :
sending a few notes out 'cos i'm bored and waiting to go out! i hope you have a brilliant 2011 ;)! xo
from stepfordtart :
Oh! Its super groovy! Reminds me a little of Liquorice Allsorts (in a good way!).I forgot to comment on the bathroom, too. Its Barbie-tacular - I love it! There's nothing quite so depressing as a 'non-colour' house. Happy Christmas to you, dear! s x
from daath :
I appreciate the add, thank you!
from strawberrri :
why of course! i shall give your diary a read also.
from bliss-sad :
I asked my boyfriend if he'd let me paint the bathroom pink and he told me that he was not allowing HIS manroom to be painted the color of a vagina. lol. Love your diary!
from omfggwtf :
hahaha oh yeah.. oops. i went a bit crazy and stuff. it happens every now and again if i get paranoid about something.. but it's never locked for long ;)
from omfggwtf :
:)! thanks.
from julymalaise :
Sure you can add me! I'll add YOU!
from mythicraven :
Hi! Thanks for the notes!
from stepfordtart :
Hey! Thanks for adding me! Much appreciated. s x
from opposure :
I don't mind. I can't promise you sanity, though.
from koorikaze :
Isn't it nice when one thinks they failed or did badly and end up getting a better than expected grade? :) I hope you do well in the rest of your exams. Oh, and I like your new template. ^_^
from omfggwtf :
i just stumbled on here and would like to read more :) would you mind if i add you? xo
from koorikaze :
Thanks for the add. Do you mind if I add you to my favorites?
from lisaannlm :
Congrats on being published. You certainly deserve it.
from lisaannlm :
When I was in High School I sang in two chiors. I quite liked it because you're singing in a group. The only time I ever had difficulties is when we were doing preformances for large groups of people, especially if there was any movement or choreography. I'd get so nervous, it was like I had 2 left feet, even though in practice I'd do everything fine. Go figure.
from lisaannlm :
Sorry bout your cat & about the crowded conditions.
from sexysassyt69 :
I love ya girl.. we will always be best friends........
