That's how I feel about writing music. I want to write everything that is coming from my mind, but I know that might not show God through it. I really enjoyed the last song I commented on myspace because I did see God in it. I guess you had to start writingabout anything to get to the deeper part of yourself, and I think you're at that level now...

Sorry for all the jumbled notes. Something's wrong with my fingers. I can't make complete sentences today. Maybe it's because I just woke up. It's also the fact that I regret not getting married to him. I don't want you to have that feeling. Look at all the regret. Bleh.

And it's good that you don't want to rush things. Don't rush things. I think we might have, even though we were dating for 3 years, I didn't give my parents time. And make sure you don't have conflicts with your parents; that makes it worse. We didn't want to rush it either. It wasn't about the sex, because if it was we would have done it long ago. But my parents never understood that. We just wanted to stay together. And now he's in texas and I'm in florida. I'm glad he still talks to me. It gives me hope...
|
| from
silverluna : |

People didn't believe in Shawn and me should be together either, and I think I listened because I didn't want my parents to be upset at us. And now we are not together. So make sure you keep listening to yourselves when people want to give you options, and not suggestions. Make sure you stand up for each other. Don't be afraid, like me...

I do that to myself too, hold on to my emotions, waiting for him to tell me his feelings, wanting to let the all go so he can tell me what he thinks. Most of the time men don't say anything...

Most excellent entry... I know entirely what you mean. I have a degree and still can't find a job. But like you say, I didn't do this to make money anyway. At least if you go into teaching you'll have something more definite to aim for. Good luck... and keep writing, no matter what!

Thanks for the comment, and for your prayers. I found out that the situation really isn't as bad as I thought it was; well, at least that's what we've been told. I'm still a little skeptical (taking a cue from my mom, LOL), but "they" don't seem to think it's a big deal. So hopefully all will turn out well. Your prayers are still greatly appreciated, though. :-)

Boys like to fix things...apparently they think that us telling them what's wrong is really code for "here's a problem, now fix it." Maybe if they just knew the difference between fixable problems, and ventable problems, if there is such a difference. Anyway, I totally feel you on the job thing... I dread working with customers too. Co-workers are usually fine, because you actually get to know them, but customer interactions can often feel so impersonal. I don't know where I'm going with that, but the point is, you aren't alone in feeling like that. And I hope you have an awesome semester! I know the anxiety feeling too, but hopefully that will dissipate once you really get into the projects...

yeah, i know what you mean. I sometimes wonder why Shawn is still with me. He can easily find someone else that lives in Texas. But he still calls me every day and send me text messages saying that he loves me and wishes that I can be with him now. Guys like that are rare finds. So don't worry about Michael. If you have a strong love, you'll survive. And if you still feel that way, talk to him and he'll let you know...

i wish i could dream a dream like that...
with me it's the opposite. i can't even begin to think about going away from my home. david goes on mission trips to hati and loves it.
i just hope i don't become so smothering that he feels like he can't go anywhere and help like he loves to.
that's a fear of mine.

it WAS me! that's a wiked good book! i went through believing ther was life on other planets too after that one. it was just a wonderful thing to read! the other two were a little hard, if i remember, to keep interest in. but they all tie in wonderfully.
i hope the internet won't blow up! i was trying to find a way to back up all the entries from before, not to lose them ever if i can. but i haven't looked into that. maybe it's a question for the help section? i love reading my old stuff. i laugh alot and remember alot more. some i regret writing, but hey. what are you gonna do. those i just remember are the past.
i feel like we're "friends" too. it's amazing how that happened. hopefully we keep that way for a long time to come. ;)
|
| from
erunamagrnlf : |
|
hey!
david hates it when i won't tell him that something's wrong. or when he knows that there's something but i won't tell him. why? cause i feel like it's stupid or won't make sense or that i'll sound like a blithering idiot trying to get it from my brain to my lips.
but you're right. he can always make it okay just by sitting there and holding me.
i don't think your "fears" about michael are irrational. david and i tease eachother about a guy that i hang out with and a girl he knows being our escape from eachother. it can be a fun thing to do, but underneath it all, at one time or another, i've been jealous over what normal people would call nothing but my brain chooses to overexpose. i know he's been.
i don't know how to help you out because trust is something that's different with everyone. so why am i writing this? because it's obvious you trust michael enough to let him comfort you. if you trust him to do that, trust him to do the right thing. :) it's gonna be a bumpy one and lord knows i still struggle with thoughts of david with someone else (and he's promised to be with me forever!). but there's a point where you have to take that leap. and if he's there to catch you and keep you from falling, then i won't have to kill him. ;)

Sounds like Edward Weston - I loved those pepper shots, but probably only because I focused on his use of light and refused to see them as erotic. I think I know what you mean though. We read sex into everything - even in college English classes, where you'd think being educated would mean being able to actually find deeper meanings in use of language. But no, apparently it means you can turn any piece of literature into a sexual connotation. Well, not all professors are that way, but some of them got on my nerves like that.
So anyway, I do still read when you update, so I'm glad to see you updating again :-) You always have interesting things to say.

I've been in that "state" of things for a while now and I'm most comforted reading the lives of those "Greats" like Paul, David, Moses, and (of course) Jesus. 3-15, 30, 40, and 30 (with only a 3 year ministry following afterwards), respectively. Not as an exuse for laziness or apathy, but a Godly patience, having done all that we can to stand, to yet continue to stand.

Yeah, when I heard that Night departed Disney over "creative differences," I thought "Yes! He's not letting any studio tell him how to make a movie!" So yeah, I saw a lot of spiritual metaphors in it too, and while I didn't like everything, I don't think some critics should be as hard on it as they are. But apparently Night doesn't think too highly of critics either, based on this movie ;-) Anyway, I just wrote up an entry about it. I do want to see it again though. Congratulations on being a graduate! It is a very strange feeling - you realize that experience must come slowly, over time, not at the moment someone hands you a piece of paper. I don't know anyone who's gone into missions that has been rich, monetarily. But I think true missionaries are rich in other ways than that, because if you're rich in compassion, you don't need to have money, and I can tell that you are. Don't let people bring you down, just because you want to do something that doesn't seem "practicle." God will bless your willing heart!

your faith is exactly what i have been needing. i've been sadly torn away from my friends who are strong Christians; God has seemed to place me in the position of "influencing" others. my one strong Christian friend, andrew, is the light right there. and yet i've proven not to be the rock i thought i was without my support. i used to be the "anti" of worldly emotions and things, yet my months with these individuals have torn me down, piece by piece. i haven't been able to really write a lot lately just because of this; i have no drive anymore. but for the past two weeks, there God's been, gently calling me back. and so last night, i let everything out to my boyfriend, and i let him know that God is going to be placed back where He should be -- right back at number one. rather than number...three. there's a huge entry to write when i get time and finish my new layout. i can't wait. all of my entries for a while now have been so shallow. oh, and i've changed my passwords. the new u/n: life; the new p/w: byandrea. i'm praying for you!! hey! my advice to you is to not put yourself down or lose hope [about auditions/musical ability, etc.]. practice those scales over and over -- it may be boring, but the feeling of accomplishment is worth it! if you really love music, it takes a LOT of hard work to get anywhere. trust me; for some reason i decided to major in music. it takes more work than anything, but it is all worth it. good luck and keep updated!

Yep, Andy Serkis played Lumpy the cook. I wouldn't have known it was him either if I hadn't been told beforehand. And I hear he also played a large part in the CGI movements of Kong, because of all the experience he'd had with the "motion capture" stuff they used in Lord of the Rings. I've heard of waiting 'til marriage before having sex (which is what I'm doing), but your "I'm not going to kiss someone on the lips til I get married" rule sounds silly to me. I don't have a bf, and have never had one. Yes, I would like to have one someday. No, I haven't had my first kiss yet. Let me assure as someone who was not a teenager all that long ago, and who knows many teenagers, your words are not that of a normal teenager. You say you're only 16, but sometimes when I read your stuff I can't believe they are the words of someone so young. You are wise beyond your years and you don't even know it. And hang on to that fire. Don't let the wind of cynicism blow it out. God created us to have the type of passion you just described. As people become older they often get wounded more and more, then they crawl into their shell of cynicism and apathy as a means of protection. But through the redemtion of Christ he can make us more than conquerors, and don't you forget it. Maybe all those old farts could learn something from you!

"but I mean having that unspoken understanding. Just having it there, hovering around between two people. Without making out in the ocean."
Exactly! It seems that everytime a story or movie forcefully throws in the sex or make out scene into what is otherwise a really good love story, it just kindave cheapens the dynamic between the two. The bed scene in Garden State comes to mind (still a great film, though). Anyway, the idea for your story actually sounds fantastic, I must admit. Good job.

i love the entry from your $1.99 notebook. i wish i could've written something as meaningful as that in mine. i can't remember how much mine was. it's a black composition notebook that i went and taped a whole bunch of magazine clippings to. but i'll have to put that in mine. cause you seem to know just how to put in words what i feel...cause you're creepy like that. I really think God intended everyone to see the sunset when they woke up. It's just that now we depend on these little electronic devices called "clocks" to run our time for us instead of light and darkness. That's one thing I love about camping - I go to be when it's dark, get up when it's light, and don't even care what time it is. :-)

i WISH i could write something like that. i don't have the mental capacity. lol i realize what you're speaking about regarding baptism. i went through the same thing. i went through the class with my two best friends. it was like a "why not" thing for me. then i was like, oh shoot. am i doing this for the wrong reason? i knew i should get baptized, but am i really ready? i started praying more, reading more. i just didn't want to upset God in my decision. *nods* so yeah, i get where you're coming from, definately. just keep praying! love you!- Weller

okay, can i just tell you that i have the same neopets problem. like maybe we need to start a neopet-un-addict-class or something. :) why shouldn't you go for being baptized? do you guys have classes for such things? i know what you mean tho, all these doubts and wondering if you can stay who you are in christ after you're baptized, specially because of what an outward sign to the world it is. it's like "everyone look at me and watch for a mistake!", well, that's what i was worried about, anyway. i'll pray about it for ya, see what God's got in store. and your job, same thing! i have such a blessed life, everything that i need falls into my lap. my job is a gift. and it just came! i prayed and prayed. so enough prayer and he'll answer, but you know that already. ;) it's hard not worring about tomorrow, isn't it. luvs - Weller

I know what you mean! It seems I just "exist" sometimes, and now that summer's coming, I have a feeling I won't be changing much. To me, things like music and writing are art, but if you have to make yourself do them (as I often do in the case of writing), doesn't that defeat the purpose? I don't know. Sometimes I wonder how so many books have been written, if the authors were as lazy as me. Anyway, I hope you'll keep trying. That piece you wrote a few entries ago about the woman finding her dying husband was beautiful - it's the kind of thing you don't need to write a novel on in order to communicate effectively :-)

hey! it's grrrrrrrreat to finally get time to write you back! i hope you haven't thought you've been abandoned. NEVER! lol i was reading your notes and it seems i'm not the only one struggling with stuff. i dunno about things that i've been doing lately. not cool. i just wish there was an erase button. like i know if i ask for it i will be forgiven, but then i go back and do it all over again. i'm so good for a while then it just all falls into the abyss. and i'm not a wizard, so there's really no chance of me coming out of there by my own strength. i need to learn to trust and obey! there's no other way, dude! if you could pray for me, or at least remember me sometime during the day, that'd be much appreciated. luvs - Weller
P.S.- was that you i just accepted for a neofriendliness?!!! NO WAY!

I, too, seem to be having trouble spiritually. It's my own fault, though, and I know it. I know what the problem is, but for some reason, even though deep down I want to, I haven't done anythign to change it. School has been going OK. A lot of the people in my class are really stressed out, because we have to put on this banquet for the seniors, and the big day is the 20th, adn we have almost nothing done. I'm not stressed, though.I could care less about it. ;) When is your lsat day of school? Mine's the 26th. I can't wait!

It's interesting to examine the generally-accepted though that God is probably most like an adult... but why that necessarily? Obviously, his wisdom can be more accuratly reflected in the older part of the human race, but don't children have some virtues that adults don't? God's probably a mixture.

I saw that you liked the Village and this is also pleasing. Many people I have talked to disliked it, they being very naiive. I find it extremely irritating when people create opinions without taking the time to understand the topic. Kids these days...they shouldn't be watching things that they aren't going to understand.

Yes, God was there, for sure. wow, uhm, okay, I just had to say something to you after reading that. There were some very meaningful things raised, meaningful to me, too. I wasn't quite sure though, It sounds like he's close, but hasn't actually accepted Jesus into his heart yet. I'll be praying for you both, though I don't know you, but, it was just too amazing to not do anything. It's a Fender stratocaster. Oh and the color is tobacco sunburst. He is a genius. No, a super genius. I loved "The Grim Grotto" but my favorite by far is "The Slippery Slope." Are you planning on seeing the movie? I am but I seriously doubt that it will even be half as good as the books. I think they picked a bad Klaus and Count Olaf. Jim Carrey is awesome but he's just not...scary. And his face is really round. Count Olaf has a sharp face. And Klaus is blonde with no glasses! I am shocked. Hi Hannah! Thanks so much for your encouraging note. I hope you'll feel better soon. Yes I agree with you that the years just pass by quicker and quicker. But the good thing about that is that we're all just one year or one day closer to be raptured up to be with Him. Wouldn't that be some Thanksgiving/Christmas present or what?! Since I'm in New Zealand, we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here, but I hope that you'll have a nice time. You too keep up your devotedness (if there's even sucha word :p) to our Father. ok...I'll try..about Joan...
1. Best line "The Arcadia fear factor" when Joan says to Adam about her great Aunt feeding this baked crickets.
2.Joan was much more "loving". She got an alley cat that she tried to tame in a cage. Only thing, the cat really liked Adam.
3. Some poigant moments with Kevin discussing what happened after the accident to his Great Aunt who was also suffering from a stroke she'd had.
4. Really family connected..all the way around. Even Luke & Grace. She tells him a secret about why she is the way she is..probably the most important scene between them yet..and there was a moment she really thought she lost Luke (when he logged off line).
5. Still not sure whats going on with her Dad at the police department..honestly..I don't even care.
6. Judith told Luke's geeky pal she'd go out with him if he memorized Hamlet.

I have a new rule here, so I thought I should let everyone know. To be listed as one of my favorites, you must list me as one of yours. Sounds kind of selfish (I'm kind of paranoid, I know), but I don't see the point of linking to people who don't read my diary here, especially with the extreme lack (or complete absence) of involvement. So if you could just do that, that would be awesome! I'll give you a couple weeks, but if I'm still not listed, I'll take you off my favs. So thanks in advance! ♥ ~Éowyn~

Wow, I didn't know that grass could make a side key stick!! How did that happen? My pads used to stick, until I repadded the thing (I play alto sax), but I didn't know grass could... Wow. Sorry that yesterday was such a horrid day. :( I'm really mad because I probably won't be able to march until next week... our first competition...

Hey, thanks for the note. I'm so glad that the dating situation worked itself out! Obviously, that's what God wanted you to do, and maybe you'll even bring someone to Christ. Praying really does work, you see? Anyway, yes, I'm so sad that the LOTR trilogy's over, but the Hobbit might get made...it must. It simply must. We should start a petition and mail it to PJ. Heh. And Billy just turned 36. Isn't that sad? He's old enough to be my father! Oh, he's just aged quite well...and wonderful job on the witnessing! Keep it up and talk to ya soon! -Loves, Jenn

Hannah I just finished updating myself on your life. (hehe, what a weird way to put it...) Anyway, after reading "Serious Conversation" I was like, YES, GO GOD! Girl, just let me say, I'm proud of you for letting God lead you, and for actually taking that first step in witnessing. Because, you could have tuned God out. You could have let your fears or interests get in teh way. But you didn't; you listened to God. WTG!!! OK, onward.... you said in that entry tat you were IMing with him.... which brings up a question... Would you mind IMing me? I find myself wanting to talk with you more directly than just leaving notes. So, if you're OK with that, I have my AOL sn in my profile, and it's also linked to my journal. God bless and take care. -Amy

Hannah - I haven't finished reading all of your updates that I've missed yet, but I wanted to say these things on my mind before I forgot. I just finished reading the entry where you said that Michael likes you, and you like him. And you were wondering whether or not you should say "yes" if he asks you to go out with him. I got the impression from your writing that he's not a Christian. OK, let's just get it out in the open that I am against "dating" or "going out" or whatever you want to call it until the ones "going out" are at least 18. With that aside, and I'll try not to let it influence what I'm going to say, but if it does, sorry, its' my opinion: Right now, I would advise you to NOT go out with him, simply because he's not a Christian. You brought up the verse about not being unequally yoked. That's true. It says that, and I agree with it completely. Dating - or "going out with" - a nonbeliever is dangerous. He could influence you to do sinful things; I'm not saying you'd fall for that, but ... I'm not saying that he'd ask you to make out first. That's probably not what he'd do. He'd probably start with small things, like holding hands, hugging, being together ALL the time, and after a while it would probably get more physical. You have to remember that he's not a Christian, so he doesnt' have the same beliefs you do. That should be sending off a big red warning light. But, you've already mentioned that, which is good. My advice? (Even though you didn't ask for it...) Just try to establish a friendship with him. Ask him how things are going, that kind of stuff. Be his friend. If he ever accepts Christ as his Savior, then I'd say it'd be safe to consider going out with him. Now, to conclude this long, "preachy" note: You don't have to listen to a word I'm saying. You can do whatever you want, because you have free choice. I was just explaining my opinion based on Scripture, mainly the scripture that says "don't be unequally yoked." Advice that I DO want you to take seriously: Pray, pray, pray, pray, pray, pray, pray. A good verse comes to mind: 1 Thessalonians 5:17 - "Pray without ceasing." Bye!

I know you probably don't want people bombarding you with advice right now, so I'm not going to tell you what you should do and what's right and what's wrong. I do know what the Bible says about being yoked with nonbelievers, and I also know what it says about reaching out and being an example others in order to witness. This situation has its pluses and its minuses. If you're dating, he might be more willing to listen to what you have to say; while if you're just friends, he might just brush you off. Of course, he could be hearing and not listening. This is something between you and God. I know there's been so many times where I've wanted God to whack me on the head and tell me "yes" or "no!" Unfortunately, that rarely happens, and you just have to pray and trust your gut instincts. The best thing you can do as a Christian is be an example. Make them wonder what sets you apart, what makes you so loving. Jehovah witnessing isn't what it's about at all. Christ is love, and if you feel you could do a better job spreading the Good News in a more serious relationship, as long as things don't go too far, then go for it. At this age, it's not like you're getting engaged anyway, right? You date to find the One to marry, but you also date to have fun and make friends. Maybe you can date AND be friends? I'm not old enough to date, though, so...maybe I'm just being an idiot. Does any of that make sense? I'm trying not to be rude or pushy or nosy...just trying to be supportive. I'll be praying for you, okay? Good luck!
|

mcdonaldsfry : |

I like long notes. =) I've never actually been that great at telling other people about the Good News but I think the best thing you can do is to build a friendship with the person and stand your ground. Don't give in to the things the person wants to do that you know is wrong. You have to be a good example. Do what Jesus would. You have to be bold in these types of things but don't run up to random people and yell, "YOU ARE GOING TO HELL IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IN GOD!" Don't be in the closet about it either. Mention it when it comes up and pray about it. Praying is the best thing you can do. Well that's what I've always thought and it's worked in the past for me. =) -Lacy

P.S
About this whole guy thing. It won't work. He's not a Christian. I'm almost positive this is NOT what God wants you to do. The trying to date people who don't believe in God and trying to convert them DOES NOT WORK. Being friends with him might help but dating him? In the end you won't end up marrying this guy so why should you date him. I'm sure you know you aren't going to marry him. I personally think that you shouldn't date until you are ready to marry. Pray about it. I'll be praying for you. -Lacy

OK, I don't know if you want to listen to a "lecture" or anything, but I have some advice for you - if you're interested. This Michael guy who likes you (and you like him) is a non-Christian, right? To paraphrase, this isn't going to work. The Bible says, as you acknowledged, not to be "yoked with un-believers" - this not only includes marriage, but also dating and even super-tight friendships with non-believers because who you spend your time with is who you will become like, whether or not you like it. Would you marry this guy? I hope your answer is no - he's not a Christian and the point of marriage is for the two of them together to bring God more glory than either one of them could on their own. So the required pre-requisite is definitely a relationship with Jesus Christ. You seem like you have a lot of depth in Christ - why not set your sights higher and look for a guy who would challenge you in your walk with the Lord - not a guy who would bring you down. It doesn't matter if you don't make out or have sex with him - dating is figuring out if this guy is the one that God made for you - and as long as he's a non-believer, he's out of the running. I can't control your life, but if I were you, I would ask myself what exactly I saw in this guy that made me like him so much, I would put him above God's will for my life. I don't mean to sound harsh - I'm just trying to show you what I'm saying without confusing you with the sugarcoating on the bitter reality. I really like you and I don't want you to fall away from God. Even my non-dating "love life" (if you can even call it that!) with Christians led me down the wrong path to impure thoughts, so God put on my heart that I need to devote this season of my single life to him - I'm too young for a relationship right now and the right guy hasn't come along yet. I don't know what your situation is, but maybe God wants you to wait as well. This is really long, but I hope I was able to say what I'm feeling clearly without making you mad!! No hurt feelings, right? I hope not! Love you, girl! ~Éowyn~ ♥♥♥

Yes, the village was definitely an awesome movie. And through reading at imdb.com, I found out that you were right - M. thanks for writing back! and your friend's advice was really good too, i do need to take things one day at a time. i'm one of those people who worry so much about the future, and fail to enjoy the present. this is a quote i found, and it really inspired me: "I yearn to live and love and burn, and yet so much of my time is spent faking and forgetting, faking and forgetting... I carry out my disbelief with uninspired hands, my eyes shut, my emotions dulled, my spirit numb. in times like these I am in desperate need of truth to come to me like a blinding light, like a splinter in my soul, reminding me of the brevity of my time here on earth." -Jon Foreman. I'm a 23 year-old dinosaur. So here's some advice from a geezer that likes to think he's learned something over the years...I guess. There's another way to think of the phrase "Live today like it's the last day of your life". First of all, if today was the last day of your life, you wouldn't be worried about the school and all the things you think you HAVE to do...'cause this is it, you know? We try and form these big plans about some great future where we'll be everything we can be (everyone does it), when we should be more concerned about the present. The future is unpredictable and will always dissapoint you if you think you know what's coming. Just seek God's will for each day. Take it a day at a time. Maybe your school will have a great spiritual awakening, maybe it won't. Let's be honest...it probably won't. But I bet, if your open to it, God will bring you maybe just a few lives to speak into over the year in a profound way. If you take things a day at a time and let the future worry about it itself, I think you'll look back after time and be pretty satisfied with the people, places, and things God has led you to each and every day. Sorry if I'm preaching to the choir, I just wanted to share my thoughts. And sorry this is so....eesh.

hey! it's been a while. i love how you've 'transformed' your diary. i love how you talk to Jesus. i think most of the same things most of the time and have the same questions. it makes me feel good to know that i'm not alone. and that there is someone out there who is working on it just like i am. and some times there are things you say that just blow me away. they hit me like a brick and i say "wow, God, thanks for showing me this." and it's just awesome that it's through you he has shown me pieces of myself. thanks. luvs - Weller

hey, so how old are you? i just wanted to let you know, i thought i was a freak too because i am pretty non-functional when i'm on my rag too. you're not a freak. a lot of girls feel the same way, and there's been many of times i have to tell my bosses that i'm sick and can't come in. and it's okay. and when you find the right guy, he'll be okay with your body. he'll love you, and if he can't accept it, don't accept him. :)

Note attempt #2, darn diaryland. I get annoyed when people think that only blind, ignorant people follow God, and try to justify it with philosophy. Yeah, that's so true, about how people sort of construct their own truths. I've done it myself. And that bit from the Bible (in your entry) is amazing. Lol, duuuude. I went to a Christian concert the other night and when everyone was cheering after a band finished playing a song, the guy was like, Let's give it up for God! I thought that was cool. :)

Thanks for the note! Yes, I read the deleted scenes part; some of those were hilarious! On the other hand, some of them sounded a bit too far-fetched, but the ideas at the end about the boys working at a restaurant in Italy sounded pretty crazy too. Too bad they couldn't have written those into another one of their movies. Oh well, take care!

it's amazing how you just wrote everything i felt today at work. i was talking to a girl about the movie and she just didn't get it. at all. i felt like screaming so loud and beating her in the head. i didn't, thank goodness. but why can't some people get it!? i find myself thinking all the time now (i only just saw it wednesday) bible verses flying into my head, looking at people and translating their actions differently. i don't know what's going on with me but i love it. i love it so much that i've become almost scary about it. the urgency that you wrote about i'm feeling too. i'm kind of scared, like i don't know what to do with it. speak in capital letters! the whole bible should be in capital letters if that's what it takes! that piece you wrote stood out and i loved it. and i want to stand up because of it. luvs much - Weller

ah, the story. i guess since ur too awesome for words i could give you a tad bit of the plot. (if it doesn't change within the next 2 days hehe.) tis all back in ME. way way back. before the War of the Ring. (see, i twisted tolkien's history a tad *GHASP!*) anyways there's this elf chick Aralle and somehow she's wandered into Mirkwood and Legolas sees her and all the sudden she's not seen anymore by anyone. He finds out that his father has her locked away in the castle somewhere. there's this whole big thing. well he meets her one night and they talk and they become friends then he has to leave cause morning is coming and her servants will be in soon. so he leaves. eventually the whole point of the story is that she's not named Aralle and there was this big thing with the Elves by the Sea (whom she used to be one of) and they got attacked, the guy who she was supposed to marry there gets killed (he was some royal). she runs off. little does she know that her betrothed's best friend was Haldir. he was from the same city of elves she was from but she never really saw him...somehow. needless to say she ends up in mirkwood and thranduil appoints her to be a Keeper. i can't tell you what she keeps, but she's one. so they have to leave Mirkwood cause there's some war and she won't leave so the day after everyone has left Legolas goes to find her. they take this journey and get rid of whatever it is she keeps, but on the way they run into Haldir who'se army has been attacked by some evil and he recognizes Aralle as the chick that was supposed to marry his buddy. there's a catch now cause the guy she was supposed to marry told haldir if anything happened to him Haldir was to marry her. so she's caught in this loves Legolas, Haldir's got a power trip and no one's gonna have her if he can't and it just gets messy. that's all i have so far. but those are all the bits and pieces mainly that are strewn about. there's more but this is getting awfully long. lol i hope i haven't bored you to death. lol luv much -Weller

Hey, this is "Under-Skin". I know I said I was never going to make another entry again, but I changed my mind, like I always do and started anew with another journal. I'm trying to be a little more uplifting, I guess. Anywho, I love your latest entry about the guy. Only one thing: "I bet guys don't have much of a problem with it at all. They've got it way too easy." HA! That's pretty funny, 'cause up to that point I identified perfectly with everything you said. I swear, the same exact thoughts have gone through my head over a girl or two before. Anywho, good job. And that was hardly a "teenage-girlish rant". Mostly because of the fact that you were trying to keep yourself in check rather than get carried away in melodrama. Okay, lata.
