Hey--I found your journal searching for the lyrics of "#41," and I read your essay from June 2. That is an amazing piece, which I hope you already know. You're incredibly insightful, plus you have the rare ability to actually get those insights across to your readers. I'm sorry you're closing this--I think I would have enjoyed following your exploits.

I don't know what older brother you showed that to but it wasn't this one. After all the schooling and extra-curricular thinking you've done you're just gonna take the word of mister, "it can't be done!!!" 2004? I think you know what you want to do...and more importantly, what you don't want to do. You should never compromise that...ever. I tried to conform for a solid 5 years and just recently I have realized that I was fooling myself. I would hate to see someone as immensely talented as you do the same. You know what you want to do and that's good. I knew what I wanted to do at your age too. I was just stupid and squandered my time...I know you won't do that though. Anyway, I'm not quite sure what I want to say here. I feel obligated to give some sort of advice to you since you'll be off to college soon. Basically, it's this, as cheesy and cliche as it sounds. You can do anything that you want to. Simple as that. You can be a writer, I know you could. You could be an actress, you're amazing at that. You could be a public speaker, educating people on the woes of some poor underdog. Whatever. You can do any of it. It's just a question of how hard you're willing to work to get there. Make sure that whatever you do, whether it be President of the United States, or President of the United Paper clip collectors club, make sure it's something you have a burning passion for. Without that, your just going through the motions, which is a waste for someone as talented as you.

I'm gunna miss it to Meredith and of course I'm gunan miss you SO much but you'll only be 2 hours away from me next year so I will see you again. It's sad to say goodbye to theatre or at least this part of it but it is another chapter in your life and you were so wonderful with it! You are an incredible actress Meredith Jones. This weekend...well let's forget about what happened. The reason I was so upset is not because of you or costumes, its just that I've been working on these props for months now and over half of them are borrowed. I'm SO paranoid and freaked out that they will get stolen or broken. I didn't mean to blow up at you. I don't want you to think that I feel I'm perfect because I don't think that. I'm not perfect. No one is. I just want to apologize in advance if I say or do anything I might regret this next week and a half. Its a stressful time,and people are prone to get testy. I have no idea what his problem with your writing is, but always consider that there is a third option, perhaps he liked your writing sophmore year but believes it has stagnated. That would explain why he wouldn't like it now as well. Just the first thing that popped into my head.

When someone says "how could he want anything else but you, just look at you..." They are including the whole package. or at least I am. Physical beauty you have, thats obvious, but the moment you meet someone they know theres so much more to you than good looks. Confidence, wit and intelligence are your strong points and thats what is really beautiful about you.

Meredith, when are you going to get it through your head that there isn't anything wrong with you? Think of it this way, you can't find clothes to fit you because you don't fit the typical mold. You're different and that's what you've always wanted to be. I don't remember a day where you've said, "ahhh, I'm almost like everyone else". Believe me, you don't want to wait until you're my age to realize that there isn't anything wrong with you. I mean, I feel better, but I missed out on alot because of it. The best thing to do is to learn not to validate yourself through other peoples view of you. Listen to what your close friends say about how you act but don't let it run your life. Anyway, I'll shut up now. Go be talented, you know you are.

You're very, very wrong. While Wolverine would probably win, because Johnny Storm plays pretty dumb, it doesn't mean he couldn't win. Really he should win, he can fly, play keep away, and more importantly when he wants he can achieve his 'Nova Flame' which is hot enough to melt adimantium.

i just went to read your diary. you have such a pretty layout. so bright. i am also deathly afraid of clowns. and once i read a book called; 'if winter comes' and it was about the threat of a nuclear war and the main characters name is meredith. it's by lynn hall i think. who i used to love. she had at least two other characters named meredith in other books too. it was neat. the book was pretty good back in 7th grade when i read it. yeah. do people call you mare? i mean everyone? what about death? i think more people call me death then do mare. god these notes are creepily long so i'm going to leave you alone. for now. cherio!
