u: nathan p: boy please delete this note once you read it. Thanks.
from miedema2002 :
Why are you locking this diary? Will you ever come back to diaryland? Shame you were my favourite read.
from miedema2002 :
oh? will you still be using this one? my e-mail is [email protected]
from ungenderless :
That's really sweet. I checked out your entries last August. Those pictures are adorable! You and your wife look so happy. ^__^
from ungenderless :
Hey there. I hope this isn't too personal of a question. I was just wondering (since I don't know much about the laws in London), are you and your wife legally married or did you have a private commitment ceremony, or something else?
from ungenderless :
Wow. That was a beautiful and inspiring entry. Thank you for sharing it.
from miedema2002 :
I love your current entry! What's creepy is I wrote an entry(about 3 ago) that rehashed a somewhat similar context. Hee! I love how we think alike in most cases. You are such an interesting diarist. Eggwhite diary? which one is this??
from ungenderless :
After reading a few of your entries, I have to agree that you are definitely one of the coolest lesbians in the solar system. I've also been reading your "Eggwhite" diary all day. **Shudders** It's like a car accident; so horrible, but you just can't look away!
from miedema2002 :
I hear you when you say that working with mental health youth is too close to home. I feel the same way. That is why I won't work in a mental health setting. It'd be too much for me to handle at this point.
from dinosaurorgy :
Fah -- too far away. I love supplies....
from annanotbob :
Thanks - that sounds great. Have you read Boy Meets Boy by David Levithan? That's my all-time glad to be gay book - it's not just about boys, it's just about a future where everything is cool. All the best xx
from femme-inine :
Thank you! Iappreciate that you told me that - I was somewhat concerned about writing it ... but then I did it anyway.
from dinosaurorgy :
I add you to the guest-posting list and you're in. :P I'll go do that now, since I've finally spotted your note.
from femme-inine :
ABC123? What? I don't know enough about Second Life to be tech support! I just got started! :)
from dinosaurorgy :
Hello, hello! I made this little club on diaryland last night (question-it), and I was thinking, do you think you might be interested in joining? I'd love tom see what sorts of questions you might come up with :)
from femme-inine :
yes, they are all one and the same! Forever more, GLOML. :) Wanna see her photo? Send me your email address again and I'll send you a photo. :) barbara dot sharpe at yahoo dot com
from miedema2002 :
Thanks. It's only been a week, so I'm wondering if he is just maybe wondering how to respond or by chance hasn't had time to check his e-mail maybe. It said it went through. I'm wondering if I should re-send it, but that might imply that I am searching for a response which I'm not it's up to him. He hasn't even called. I think waiting awhile longer is best. That was a very emotional letter you wrote. I'm glad you got all your feelings out. Letter writing really does help :)
from miedema2002 :
So, that's why I could relate to that entry so much. I wondered lol! Thank you so much I enjoyed reading it. I've read over 3 times now lol
from miedema2002 :
Thank you for the kind words. I really appreciate it. I need lots of luck right now. I LOVE your latest entry!
from iamafatgirl :
I'm sorry you're sad and perplexed today. *hugs* I wish you lived in America. I would be a stalker and come visit. We could go get pizza and ice cream and have lots of fun.
from miedema2002 :
No I didn't can you please send it again?
from miedema2002 :
sure. My e-mail is [email protected]
from miedema2002 :
No I haven't heard it. -Emily
from miedema2002 :
That video was awesome!! Made me laugh! -Emily
from miedema2002 :
Glad you liked the videos :) I can't seem to access your most recent youtube video. Did you take it off by any chance? It says video cannot be viewed. ????
from miedema2002 :
Hi Alison, Check out my diary there are two entries with youtube videos I think you will like. Later. -Emily
from miedema2002 :
Yeah that is funny! :) That interview sounded scary! Glad you handled yourself well.
from miedema2002 :
Good luck on your interview :)
from onlymayday :
I do what I can.
from onlymayday :
I neglected to mention that said nephew is burdened with the fact that 98 percent of his relations assume he'll inherit his father's class failing, drinking, drug habit, and high school impregnating tendencies. (I would be the two percent who thinks that if they'd stop projecting this on him, he'd be a lot better off.) I didn't know whether to friend him because I don't really want to know WHAT he's doing. So I sent him a "hey, if you want to friend me, as long as you never do anything stupider than any of my friends did in high school, I wouldn't consider it my business to tell on you." So, now I have this image of you (as you are now, only looking more emotionally altered, to make it your high school self) bitch slapping some guy in a Taco Bell. I enjoy.
from miedema2002 :
Thank you.
from miedema2002 :
How do you post pics to your diary? How does the whole photo bucket image hosting work?
from ethereal-red :
Thanks for the congratulations and the note!
from miedema2002 :
I love your video!! I have a digital cam maybe I should introduce people here on diaryland to what I look like lol! Anyways Wonderfully funny video! I would love to see one of how cute you and Suzy are! lol! Later.
from miedema2002 :
Well being a cutter for 9 years I know the ropes. I was thinking more along the lines on your counselling strategies and such.
from miedema2002 :
Wow you are working with people who self-harm? Good luck! I couldn't do that I think I would emotionally fall apart. It's too recent for me to be working with those clients. Can you please fill me in on your endevours with that?
from miedema2002 :
haha it's 4am here in Canada good early morning indeed! :)
from iamafatgirl :
I'm eating a Santa Fe rice and beans WW meal and I thought of you.
from lazxy :
All rocks brittle eventually, unless you are that rock- Lazxy
from miedema2002 :
Congrats!!! You made it through being on tv! I can imagine it must feeling good being a star among all your friends now! Soak it all up hun! lol!
from miedema2002 :
What was the holy crap for? lol was it a long time since you checked my diary in general or is it just a wow what a change?
from miedema2002 :
Hi, yeah I would love it if people bought me Gold memberships, but I don't have the cash for it. lol You are so lucky! Good luck in getting it again.
from veralynn :
Ha! And I used to eat paper and light bright pegs routinely. :-)
from miedema2002 :
I have a question. How did you not talk to your father for so many years? like without feeling guilty or empty of anything? or did you and you just had to deal? Thanks.
from miedema2002 :
okie dokie done! I'm glad you love it! Yeah I swore that my mom was obsessive compulsive because she constantly had to have things a certain way and she always had to put our board games away in a specific order and in the same spot every time and she would have these weird kinda quarks about her lol! but she's not.
from miedema2002 :
hmm lies that my parents told. Ummm my mom led me to believe for the longest time that you weren't supposed to go to the bathroom in other peoples houses because it was rude. Don't know if that counts. Let me know and I will think of another one.
from onlymayday :
Hmmmm, just saw the note you left me about the MySpace. I'm not sure who you found, but I'm not sure it's me. I'm the one with the pirate ship balloon icon.
from miedema2002 :
Thanks Alison. I realize that in way all three of us have been acting immature these past few months. I don't like what I have become, but they bring out the worst in me, so what else can I do then cut them off? It feels right. They cause much more stress in my life than good.
from cuddlynn :
Hi Alison! Thanks for adding me to your MySpace! Merry Christmas to both you and Suzy!
from onlymayday :
Actually, I sent you a version I made to your Yahoo account. I could probably re-do it to put the links up in the corner like that, if you prefer (that way it's not a carbon copy of mine). I'm leaving town, but I might have spotty computer access, let me know.
from miedema2002 :
It didn't take me too long at all to write. All I did was scan all the titles from each month and wrote down what kind of a month in general I thought it was. Then I wrote down what I remembered from each month and quickly reviewed only a few entries. I didn't put everysingle bit of info in there only the important highlights were summarized. Hope this helps I would love to read a yearly review from you you are a good writer! :) Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
from cuddlynn :
I thought that was funny, too :) No, I can't seem to find you on MySpace. Let a longtime reader know how to find you there!
from onlymayday :
Hmmm, it's 5:16 Central... It says there was an update about four hours ago, but everything's totally blank. Hoping you didn't get hacked.
from iamafatgirl :
I was trying to see your entry...and your diary is coming up blank...
from cuddlynn :
this is really random, but are you on MySpace.?
from miedema2002 :
Hahaha I love that! I love you can be so open your diary and still have a kick-ass sense of humour! You and Suzy sound like you have a wonderful open marriage. All the power to you two! Bye.
from miedema2002 :
Thanks. It was huge! I have never done that before. Whenever I felt like cutting before I could never talk myself out of it or just act right away, but this time I really tried hard to fight it no matter what I had to do because I want to stop and feel better someday.
from miedema2002 :
Thanks for the note. I know you are right. I just wrote him a long note lol! Just asking why and acsentuating my good qualities. Not that it matters. I just thought I would leave on a good note. Thanks for the concern.
from danish-chic :
Hey Alison, yeah it's good to be back! Take care, Alice xxx P.S. Marmite is adorable!
from sadhaven :
Hello, I just wanted to let you know about this new public diary called "sadhaven." It is for people who suffer from mental illness and/or addictions to vent and express themselves. If you would like to know more take a look around. Thank you.
from ughisme :
Just popped in to see whatcha been up to and say Hey :)
from dinosaurorgy :
The word count may be high, but I assure you that the story itself is turning out mindnumbingly boring. I've spent the last two days describing a part about bread. I shit you not. It makes me think of talking to my grandfather about the Grapes of Wrath, "14 goddamn PAGES about the grass growing!"
from dinosaurorgy :
Haha, really?
from dinosaurorgy :
It hasn't crashed.. it's servers are just being annoying. What I do to get on is Google "nanowrimo", then click the link leading to user information or whatever. Whenever it gives you a blank page from there on, try other links or refresh your page until it gets the idea that you're not going anywhere.
from dinosaurorgy :
Thank you, it's nice of you to encourage me!
from miedema2002 :
Hi, yes, for a little bit, but I unlocked it now. I had a little paranoia of not wanting my xbf to read what I was writing but now I could care less. Wow you are lucky that people pay for you. I will keep paypal in mind and maybe purchase a goldmembership in the summer. Bye.
from miedema2002 :
Do you use paypal? and if so what is your opinion of the service? Is it good? reliable? safe? personal experiences? I am debating whether I should use it to become a gold member or not. Have you found the gold member service worth the price? Thanks.
from miedema2002 :
I'm glad that you enjoyed my point of views on buddhism. Dr. J was only a 1 time visit maybe 2 depending on how long it takes me to find a psychotherapist clinic in my area and get my appointment set up. Dr. J works at an outpatient clinic that doesn't do long term care or follow up which is what I need. Thanks for reading. I love it when people read and respond to my diary. The more the merrier! Bye.
from elf-arrow :
Wikipedia is like that-anyone can enter info on themselves or any topic. For instance, a female that has a diaryland diary made a wikipedia page about herself. It's all hype, hers. So who is it anyway?
from miedema2002 :
Thanks. Sorry about all the negativity. I have always been the emotional one. The one who tells it like it is. Life is just rough, but I'm sure it will get more positive once it gets better. Take care and keep on rockin'
from miedema2002 :
I like the honesty and openness in your diary.
from miedema2002 :
I think it matters what you think. I won't be offended if you say no, I respect that. Either way I feel it is because I have been in the situations first hand and feel the emotional distress it causes. Thanks for the book suggestion. I will try and read it.
from miedema2002 :
Thanks for the note. That makes sense to me, but the guilt and shitty feelings make it difficult to act on leaving the situation. I am trapped in the middle as I have been for years. I don't know which way to go. Either way will have painful reprecussions I just have to figure out which I am more willing to deal with. Do you consider it abuse in your opinion? or am I just being stupid? Thanks for the input it helped. Bye
from miedema2002 :
Hi, my favourite class is Special Needs Populations. I mentioned it in an entry back somewhere. Bye.
from veralynn :
Hee I think if you tried that, they *would* actually be flattered. Unless you laughed really hard. ;-)
from miedema2002 :
Hi, thanks for letting me know that I am not alone. We can try harder together then lol! Happy belated birthday. Thanks for reading my diary too. It's nice to know that someone reads. I wish that I had more notes and readers. What's your secret? bye.
from bitterwineuk :
Happy belated birthday to you, left you a note in comments too but just want to say I hope you dont mind but I have added you to my favourite diaries. Have a great weekend. Becca
from onlymayday :
It is an incredibly bizarre, wonderful place. I wish I had more pictures that were taken about the house. There are pictures, but they're mostly from birthdays and Christmases, which, my grandfather was a geneologist, so I know how important that is, but, the house is worth it for everything that sat there for my entire childhood. It's doubtful I'll forget, but I wish I could have pictures to show other people- we were there most of the Sundays of my life. And YES to the Elizabeth Browning house. It's one of the places I read about years ago when I started reading about hauntings (read age 7, right as the interest in magic/Houdini petered out) and then I saw that Travel channel "most haunted places" or whatever it was and if I am ever that far east, I will be going there. How I'm supposed to get the extremely-anti-ghosts-Nathan to come with me (he disliked even watching the television show), I don't know. There are too many haunted places I want to vacation, but I need to come up with convincing reasons for going there that don't involve "it's haunted" (that's for telling him after we leave), because that means we won't be going! If the layout colours are supposed to be lemon creme yellow and Fruit Loop milk pinky-red (I am convinced you will know what this means), I'm getting them right on, but because the flower is more purple-y, I don't think I'm getting them properly.
from volleydahl :
I have taken a video of her first steps on crutches, which I don't think she liked me doing. <--- haha you WOULD! i don't get how to leave things at the end of your entries now that you changed your template, nothing shows up there!
from lullaymarie :
I thought you were dead. /me hugs you. Stop by and say high now and whenever captain! (:
from femme-inine :
Well congratulations!!! :) When's the Big Day?
from femme-inine :
Man! I missed something! I've been gone for a few months now, only reading sporadically and now you're getting married? I thought you were married! When? Tell! Tell! -(the former Nimiiwin)
from frisky69 :
I can defenatly say thay your diary is very interesting. message me back if ya want!
from miedema2002 :
Thanks for the note. I always enjoy reading your diary. I hope you like mine. ttyl
from veralynn :
Beautiful! I love it. And it doesn't do that nasty flickering thing that the other background's been doing.
from noaddedme :
you do have a point. I know I ignore the emotions, thinking I don't have a right to feel them or express them. Maybe I'll work on that more.
from veralynn :
Hee. Even as a seafood-lover, I was frightened by the description. :)
from silverywhite :
The "victim" of a surprise party must be the best kind of "victim" to exist on this planet. So much for the others being "culprits" =P
from misspinkkate :
Yea, they're a serious pain in the ass... and what really sucks is that I don't want anything else. Apple could spit in my face (they practically have!), and I'm still addicted to my iPod. So sad.
from iamafatgirl :
Don't worry about the comments. I always want your opinion, although it's not always what I want to hear. You're my friend, and I do value your opinion.
from veralynn :
lol At least it's not as swanky as the nanospreadsheet. :) I really ought to do this in a notebook or something instead. I am such a geek. :)
from volleydahl :
i really think i need to talk to someone, i think it would help me. i told mom, but then she never does anything. i found someone. i think i have major trust issues, and i don't even really understand why. it's like i think all these things, but i can't do what i'm thinking... like i'm some sort of robot. i have been sad lately because of this. i keep trying to think differently or do something different & i just can't. what do you think?
from tater-fay :
thanks for your message. It made me laugh. At least we are good at entertaining ourselves. I've always thought I was a good dancer to begin with, so I've never been afraid to dance on empty dance floors alone, etc, but I STILL would be mortified (but only half-so, I'd probably just laugh) if somebody secretly taped my dance sessions at home..ha ha!! Take it easy!! I seem to want to dance more and more these days. My sister loved to dance and unfortunately she was murdered recently and so I think I'm dancing for myself as well as for her...it's very bittersweet.
from crazyblueyes :
i'm not sure if i've commented you often or at all buti want you to know that i do often read your entries. i've tagged you, check out my page to see what it's about... it'll be fun
from nimiiwin :
I went over and looked at your "jerks" site. what a stitch! You rarely fail to crack me up.
from bindyree :
I am always so glad when your name lights up on my Buddy List! Happy New Year! ♥
from shevdevil :
Things will work out. do what you think is right at the moment and things will be fine. One day you'll suddenly find all is good. I promise.
from volleydahl :
are you still alive? i'm worried. mom makes it sound like you are dead. i can do no wrong now though, mom says that was quite possibly the stupidest thing either of us has ever done... but i would have probably would have too... shh, don't tell! i love you.
from randh :
One entry in and I love you. I'm addicted.
from annanotbob :
I've only been reading you for a bit, but you seem to be a lovely conscientious person who has been through a lot. Be kind to yourself. I am sure you would advise someone else in your position to take time off - it's not bunking off, it's something you need. I think you deserve some restful peaceful time and a lovely new job too. Wishing you all the very best xxx
from annanotbob :
Just wanted to send you a hug xx
from nimiiwin :
I'm glad you like the layout! I think I'll keep it for a while. :)
from veralynn :
heee! I actually printed out the procrastination entry for my Mom. She read it last night. As she read it out loud, she kept stopping in the middle to tell my stepdad stories about it and sure enough, they'd be the next sentences I'd touched on. :)
from kickme-tryme :
Thank you for your note. I have been reading your diary for some time now. I don't know whether I havn't ever commented but there have been many occasions where I have wanted to, but ended up doing nothing about it because I don't know what I could say. I guess I am lucky to have learnt from loss - appreciate everything and everyone, take nothing for granted. Don't let your grief push you away from those who care about you.
from nimiiwin :
Did you have it? URgh. I love shallow notes, too, you know. ANy kind of note is good! ;) Well, except hate mail. But you know. Your notes are always welcome. And too few and far between now that you have a job and can't just email and read diaries all day. :)
from annanotbob :
Hi - just found you via veralyn and thought I'd say hello. I'm doing nano for the first time too - counting down the hours. Enjoying your diary - that bit about groups 'form, norm, storm, perform' has got me thinking back over all sorts of stuff. Got to add you and read more. All the best for nano xx
from marilynstar :
My part in the "Vagina Monologues" was the "cunt" monologue and I loved every minute of it!
from bluperspex :
it works, baby, it works... mwahahaha.
from marilynstar :
hey thanks for the comment! Yeah, maybe they are afraid to talk to me. You're diary is SO appealing to the eye. You should teach me to how to stuff like that! I'm not all too computer savvy! I'll definatly come back for a read!
from blond-n-pink :
um...yea thts too bad about your vagina, check uoy my diary one day kk.oh yeah howd you get such a great layout?ttyl bye gurly!
from iamafatgirl :
Alison, I am praying for you and your family. I wish Suzy could be with you...someday I will just have to give you a call, because there is no way I could explain or rather, write down all of this stuff that is happening, because you would just not believe it all...I love you, and maybe Annie is giving Todd (my dad) a hard time right now about something...maybe they're discussing us...I just don't know, and although I hate that you're having to go through this, I know that I'm not going through this alone, and I'm not the only one who feels this way, and it makes me feel better...I'm really glad that you're my friend, Alison...
from neangel :
no thanks needed but you are more then welcome. i did a lot of crying myself tonight. went to my grandma's and we starting talking about how fast my mom is going now. dammit. *hugs* even as far away as texas i am always here.
from phlint :
i just wanted to tell you how awesome your layout is. P r e t t y cooool ^__^
from apyjo :
:)Good stuff. Love the collage ! I like collage work too. Don't do much of it though . And more with home photographs when I do. I am currently into mosaic quite heavy. And your banner is sadly , true.
from iamafatgirl :
Guess what?! I bought a navy blue messenger bag from Old Navy with silver sequins on it, and it made me think about you! It's so pretty!
from fuschiashock :
no more minesweeper for me! you can play battleship on yahoo games. they call it naval command, but it's really battleship. i hadn't played since i was five.
from fuschiashock :
your diray is very well designed. violin - going for the gold by bright eyes. each note sounds so pure it just cuts into her.
from iamafatgirl :
I'm with xnavygrrl, Alison. I emailed you and finally got to where I could check this from a computer instead of my phone. I'm praying for all of you guys. I hope you and Suzy are okay. Please, for the love of God, update so we know you are okay!
from xnavygrrl :
alison, I hope to God you're okay. I woke up this morning to MJ saying there were 6 explosions in London. My heart is in my throat. I am speechless and tears flow thinking about all the innocent people who were no doubt injured or killed by the bloody freakin terrorists! Please update so that we will know you're okay. Much love and hugs...from across the ocean..Missy.
from gela06 :
I really love your layout... did you do it yourself?
from bethbennett :
ohmygosh, you're going to new hampshire? i spent last summer lifeguarding at a private camp near lk winnipesaukee. it is wonderful. jim and i are planning to move there next year and i will commute to boston for school. when do you leave for the us?
from b-jy-ce :
3 weeks in VT/NH huh? i live right on the white river. you gotta go tubing there, it's glooooooorious.
from bethbennett :
hey EGG, oh yeah i brought out the camp name, that's how excited i am to say hi to you. it's been a year since i have been onto diaryland and flutterbeth no longer exists, or so they tell me. and I kind of agree with them. it's been a long time since that person lived in this body. anyway, i wanted to say hi, so hi. telly suzy i say hi too. oh! did you know i got married? and i am back in school, getting a degree in early childhood education from MSU and will be moving to new england after i graduate in December. anyway... talk to you sometime.
from poolagirl :
WOW! I came across your diary via sixteen links here and there, and I want to congratulate you on your 1,500 entries. OMG! What an achievement!
from volleydahl :
you can't ask questions like that. you just know... it's way too hot. it's going to be almost 90 for the next week & thunderstorming... it's really nice not having air. i do have this scary fan that exists on out ceiling upstairs & is louder than a mother though... i don't think it does much though, but if i left it on for too long i think it might suck me right up too.
from dadagirl :
I adore you layout
from chillier :
That lone-person-in-shit-stinking-bathroom thing never occurs to me until someone actually does walk in. And then I feel all embarrassed, like I really did make the smell. Is it better to yell "I DIDN'T DO IT!"? That also seems suspicious. Carrying air freshener with you at all times might be the only way out.
from hughjassman :
egg!!! i'm stuck in california and i miss you and running with grocery carts! i've been checking up on you lately and i'm so happy you have the love for india.arie! she's amazing! peace out homey! ~ginger
from broc-coli :
I love your diary oh-so much, and so I added you :) Heh, I thought I was the only one that walked to the beat of whatever I'm listening too. Cheers.
from xnavygrrl :
Alison, I don't leave you notes enough, but I wanted to let you know you always make me smile. I hope everything is well with you...I noticed you haven't updated the other diary in a while.....
from brittymac07 :
hi there! i clicked your banner out of curiousity and i love your diary! your stories are great and you seem like a very cool person. -brittany-
from allicanbe :
Hey Thanks ! But I'm only a youngin. I can't afford to *buy* designs. lol ! Even if they are awsome. :( ! Thanks though !
from allicanbe :
hey i seen your banner so i clicked it. and I LOVE YOUR TEMPLATE !!!!!! ITS BEAUTIFUL !!! can you tell me who designed it ?!!?!?
from unworthylove :
Hey, remember me? I know you know me! Guess!
from orgami :
did you ever get to see the banana bunch an american psychodelic show it was sort of like your page i have to go you are the last person i write today so many minutes oh now seconds bye
from love-passion :
My diary is messed up. I need to tell diaryland about this. When I go to the "Lock or Unlock your diary" section, I have names in there, but when I add names or erase names nothing happens.
from love-passion :
I can't seem to get the password to work. I'll give you mine then I'll change mine when I finally get it to work. The username is lovepassion and the password is dixie.
from xnavygrrl :
You and me? We're on the same plane. I LOATHE racists. People seem to forget that we're almost all foreigners. Unless you're one of the first people of that country, you are a forgeigner. Jeez.
from intralemma :
Life after weight issues?
from love-passion :
If you want I could give you a password to my diary, so maybe you can advise me on what you would do in the situation.
from love-passion :
I am the one named passionate on advicenators.
from love-passion :
You are now one of my favorite columnists on Advicenators.com!
from cmyk :
Wow! That's quite a compliment. Thanks. Especially coming from someone who's diary I love!
from sofrontwards :
I added you because I've never seen a purple banana and you make me feel tickled. Sometimes I want to be indian too, or some other race that has camels.
from heidiscout :
Hey there, i just stumbled across your diary and im loving it. Im sorry about your grandfather....being a stranger that doesnt help but we are all human so we know what you're going through. The "spoons" is hysterical, someday i will go to London and when i do, im sure i will spontaniously think of the spoons. peace, Scout
from xnavygrrl :
My, I am so sorry for all your misfortune. It really sucks, doesn't it?
from nimiiwin :
OMG! I can't believe that I missed reading that your grandfather died. I'm so sorry, sweetie. And now your grandmother is sick? Email me if you want my phone number ... you may need an outside dose of sanity while you're home.
from livian :
hey, fantastic diary, I wish it hadn't taken me so long to find it! I'm hoping you can help me out with something. I read a quote a couple of days ago and I think it was on your site, but I can't find it anymore and it's driving me nuts. It's something along the lines of 'expect the best, assume the worst, embrace everything in between'. If you have any idea what I'm talking about, please drop me a note! thanks :)
from damnillusion :
Wow. Kickass layout.
from givemeabreak :
Love the purple glasses, very hip and cool. Also, listing breakfast club as a favorite movie, also very cool seeing as I am 34 and know every word to that movie and 16 Candles. Breakfast club is much funnier though...Sorry to hear about the death in your family and that you were crying in the slushy downpour. Would it make you feel the least bit better if I told you it was -5 degrees here in Kalamazoo Michigan and last Saturday we got 14" of snow? C'mon, you smiled a little bit right???
from firestarfae :
sorry to hear about your grandfather. my thoughts are with you. take care.
from moive :
Hey there, Love the diary. I have been talking to alot of people in Diryland chat from London, It seem quite busy there,FYI, I'm 14, Lives in MD-->Maryland,I love sports, I play football, basketball, softball, hockey. What are your hobbies??? What kind of music do you listen too??? Kait, aka, Crashbob<---That's my nickname :)
from malakeh :
I know how you feel about the immigration. We're married and still no go. It's too much money and too much hassle when you can live here in England and basically have the same lifestyle. Sure, there are some things that are different, but it's not enough to be too worried about. I miss my mom sometimes, though, and my grandma. Oh well. I guess life is all about exchange. :(
from deadlyhope :
On the whole pubic hair thing: I trim. Not because of some guy that doesn't like the feel of it, personal comfort. I hope you adamantly complained to that magazine... xDeadx
from malakeh :
HI! No, you're not nosy at all, and who cares? I'm here in Leicester which is in the Midlands of England. I moved here a couple of years ago cuz my husband is English and immigration to America just wasn't working out. Are you in university, are you going back, do you know when?? I think we're around the same age so I'm all stupidly excited to be talking to you!!!
from malakeh :
No matter what I do.....its hard to leave a note to you..... Anyway, I'm American living in England too, and I know how hard it is to be away from family. I'm sorry about your Grandpa. It seems like the more helpless you are, and the farther away you are, the more bad news you hear. Well, if you ever wanna talk, you can email me. I hope things get better. I like your diary. I wish I wrote as well as you do. Much Love. xox
from kiosh :
Hello luv! I loved the Let's stay together entry! Your diary is already a total favourite one! You're smashing! * What can I tell you about your grandpa without falling into any clich? I'm with you and I'm sending positive and healing vibes his way and yours too... * Receive much love and tons of diamond purple fruit hugs! =0)
from deejayelle :
Hey Alison, been not reading up like I should... I'm really sorry to hear about your grandfather. I hope all is well, and your family is in my thoughts. L.
from love-passion :
Hey, what's your username on advicenators?
from hardcorefan- :
I'm praying for you and your family.
from crazy4muffin :
"Coolest Lesbian in the Universe" save for the small part of the world in which I exist. Digging your diary.
from cmyk :
I love your diary. I wish I was a grossly innappropriate lesbian living in London. hmph.
from hardcorefan- :
Hey, it's me...you know who I am if you've read your email...I finally saw an Alison banner...I feel that my life is happy for now, because I've finally expierenced one...I was like...wow, that sounds and looks like Alison...wait!!! It is Alison!!! I'm telling you, this sinus medication is doing nothing but making me crazy(er) and not helping my sinuses a dang bit.
from da1-4-u :
i've been reading your diary for a few weeks now and I just love it. I've been trying to read it all but with so many entries i don't think i can. I have added you to my buddy list though. Since it is only for people who TOTALLY ROCK, you're a cool addition. Thanks for the laughs. Tasha
from july28 :
Clicked on your banner - (a UK diarylander - wow !!!) and totally loved the pee entry. Thanks for making me laugh!
from harri3tspy :
Your entry on why you left sounded so familiar -- I felt like cheering you on. I, too quit after my masters for similar reasons and took a cool job. Things changed and I went back a few years ago with a different perspective on things. But I don't regret that decision. It's a crazy business.
from candoor :
happy new year :)
from realitychic :
If you see the movie tell me what you think :)
from jessice :
Alot of us have ended up here as the result of your banner.. Though I am not disappointed by any means.. Nice layout and awesome entries.. You make my Canadian life seem so boring..lol :)
from jenne1017 :
No! Because *I* am the coolest lesbian :)
from suhaila :
Hey, clicked on your banner and checked out your diary. I love the layout! Very colourful (I like) and I love your username too. :D In short, I like everything. :)
from pillowsrock :
thanks! :D. i'm liking yours too.
from pirategirl :
Thanks, man. And thanks for checking me out too! And stuff!!
from dead-sarah :
thanks. i got it off my own layout site lol. i was gonna make my own, but i was too lazy and liked this one so..
from gaycwgrl :
Ya know, I was just reading through my notes, and I looked at the last one you left me... commenting on the old couple from If These Walls Could Talk 2. I know what you mean by the upsetting feeling that can't really be explained. Speaking of which, there is a book called Early Embraces II. I highly recommend it... to you. It's not a book for everyone. It is a book with short stories about lesbian couples and experiences and things. I think you should try to order it or something, and if you can't find it, give me your address... I know you're way far away, but I'll lend it to you via snail mail.
from amandork :
Hi. I don't really even know who you are, and yet I admire the hell out of you. I guess that's the magic of modern technology. Anywho, I've been reading your journal lately, and I'm still trying to reconcile the creepy voyeuristic feeling I get when reading strangers' journals. But after this last entry, I had to let you know that I truly love yours. It always inspires me or makes me laugh or think, or brings up some truth that I can TOTALLY relate to. So thanks for that. I'm proud of you.
from gaycwgrl :
Ya know, I really wish I could leave diary messages like you... fun stuff... things to make people laugh... always a positive attitude-or at least turning a bad situation into a good one. Mine are all shitty, and talking about how dumpy my life is going, when really I'm not that boring or bad of a person. I like to be fun. Perhaps I take life too seriously... infact, I'm pretty sure that's what it is. I take much to the heart. Anyway, I just admire your writintg, and wanted to letyou know.
from gaycwgrl :
you need to see If These Walls Could Talk 2.... it's WONDERFUL!!
from gaycwgrl :
Hey girl... I couldn't help but laugh hysterically about your Pad Baby story... that was great! I'd really like to get to know you... you sound wonderful. E-mail me at [email protected] or drop me a note with your e-mail address. :) Take care, hun! gina
from urine :
hey...thanks for the message. things're better, i was just being super emotional, i guess. thanks, though.
from xnavygrrl :
I love your new layout!!
from blueeyedmoo :
Hey! Thanks for the note. I read some of your diary, will check back later.. right now I am meant to be cleaning :( *sigh* I really liked your writing. What's your PhD in? Moo xx
from frostedlemon :
what really hurts is that i'm canadian and most provinces there allow it, probably soon on a national level... and i'm here! ah well, good call on your part.
from gaycwgrl :
yeah, im gay... and im hurting... and my girlfriend broke up with me... and i need a friend... and im crying... and ugh... im lonely... i just want a hug. thanks for the note though. ill write more about my "breakup" later... but im too busy crying about it now
from sisterbert :
You sound like me in many ways. You sound like someone I could play on the monkey bars with. Tomorrow.
from sanetwin :
I loved your entry about non-conformity. I too, am one of the unemberrassed types. I am continually disarrayed, stained, and in the wrong clothing. I am learning that these things don't make me necessarily different, just me. I think you said it better though.
from reallyhuman :
i like your template
from starlight42 :
Just wanted to say I did have my dose of Taco Bell yesterday, it was yummy! Even had this new hot apple pie thingy.
from arifoxhawk :
'Twas nothing. Makes me feel better about hording so many packets. They actually served a purpose! Besides food, I mean. =]
from not-really :
Short and sweet; that's me. (Well, actually i'm like 5'6", that's not very short. and last time i licked myself I was more salty than sweet. So really, this is all wrong.) I can't stop laughing at your diary.
from not-really :
i like you.
from bean-n-bacon :
wait, you don't have TACO BELL?
from angel0fdeath :
Thanks for leaving a comment, Alison. You were one of the people I was hoping I'd hear something from so don't feel like you're being a 'know-it-all' or whatever. :) I agree with everything you said. It's still hard to just walk away though, ya know? I mean, I know I should. And I'm 99% sure that I'm not going to go running back or anything. I guess after having him there to talk to for 9 months, it's hard to have that void now. I dunno. I appreciate the optimism though. Maybe it'll rub off on me. :p
from banefulvenus :
ello ello just wanted to tell you that you have a great banner, and an amazing site! :)
from prayergirl :
Thanks for the note. :) I know that you, of all people, would understand this! ;) But things will turn around soon.
from herdarlinsin :
Hey, I got your note from my other diary (velvet-heart) and wanted to let you know that this is where I have now moved to. So, if youre wondering where Ive gone, this is the place. Hope to hear from you soon miss. *hugs* Thanks for the notsie *smiles*
from godsong :
clicked on your banner, and was shocked to read the banned book list. Many are books I read, or encouraged my students to read, or even read to my students! Thank you for sharing this list. As you stated, children are not stupid.
from kilowatt :
In a random twist of fate, I discovered your dairy and I lingered to read your words. The poet, Ruiz says every human is an artist, "and the supreme art is the expression of the beauty of our spirit." There is an effortless elegance emanating from your writing that I cannot help but admire and adore, so much so that I was compelled to add your diary to my list of favorites. "Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not." ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson ~ I hope that your day will be a delightful adventure of bliss, laughter, discovery, satisfaction and inspiration. I thank you again for the pleasure of reading the expression of your "beautiful spirit."
from resrap :
Alison, can i use ur eggwhite template?
from angel0fdeath :
I would very much like your address! :) And you would like mine as well, huh? I'll email it to you, if you'd like. Oh, and the character analysis is on Mathilde from Guy de Maupassant's "The Necklace". Bah. It's a good story but I HATE writing essays. :-\
from lonely--girl :
I only today realized that you had left me a note (i don't know why i don't check them more often - i really should be on top of it) so i'm sorry it took so long for me to write back. You have a great diary though! One of the better ones i've seen for sure. Intelligent and funny at the same time. Or not at the same time. Sometimes. Oh geeze, i'm making a mess of this.
from mcmenses :
Okay, now I understand the context of your comment. I don't know, what do you want the headline to read? I guess if it were my own, it would say something off-color like "bush campaign links mcmenses to extreme left-wing" or perhaps "Local woman, 'lesbian' enjoys other local women".
from xnavygrrl :
Thanks for the sweet note, Alison! I was reading today your questions about God. I think that you are right. Most paths do lead to God. I am too searching for my path. You are not alone. Happy Tuesday to you too!
from mcmenses :
re: Your comment. You say that like it's a "bad" thing...
from hamiltonian :
Back again ..
from angel0fdeath :
Tia emailed me about.. Err.. Things, Alison. I feel like a fucking fool, ya know? I know you're busy doing your own thing and such, but I was wondering.. If you got the time, could you email me? I really need some kind words and advice right now.. Thanks.
from cats-corner :
Looking up your old classmates online does not make you a loser. It's those damn crabs coming out of your skeleton boxer shorts! Kidding, kidding. :-D Thank you much for the note. -cat
from angel0fdeath :
Hey, sorry I didn't reply to your latest comments sooner but I just figured that since I hadn't made new entries, no one had left comments. :p But no, as of now, Jim and I haven't met in person. He's supposed to be visiting in 2 weeks and when I have a chance to update (probably tonight), you'll realize why I only say 'supposed to'. Anyway, hope all is well! :)
from xnavygrrl :
That grosses me out too. I keep telling my kid to shut the stupid lid already.
from ninapetrovna :
I'm sorry, I just read your note on cats-corner about how you look up highschool people on the internet to find information that really bothers you, and I've never met anybody else who will admit to doing that or being bothered by what they find, so I just had to add that I do that too and it makes me sick for days afterwards. By the way I like your diary.
from fuschiashock :
at this moment, i wouldn't mind if two hours were to go by.
from appleblowpop :
what can i say..i really, really want it.
from angel0fdeath :
Well, see, this is the thing. Right now, I don't have the means to save up enough money for the trip to England. Basically all my money at the moment is going to the plane ticket to SLC in November and paying back loans for college. BUT I would really, really like to visit England sometime within the next 5 years. Jim will be out of college in 2 years and I'll be out in 2 to 4 and hopefully by then we'll be able to collectively come up with enough money to take a vacation over to England and see you and my guy friend in Manchester. I guess it's more like a nice idea at the moment though, huh? :-\
from angel0fdeath :
Yay! You left me a comment! I was beginning to think you never read me anymore. ;) But yes, you're welcome (for saying you were worthwhile - because you ARE) and I will definitely be awkwardly introducing myself to you and Suzy when I visit England. :) Actually, I plan to visit England before I even do that whole 'Visit almost ALL of Europe' trip. Hopefully Jim is able to fly over with me on that trip as well. Who knows. Anyway, I'll end this now. Hope you're having a lovely, inspiring day.
from seekingme :
Thanks for stopping by my journal, and for your kind words. I will definitely be back to read more when I can.
from prayergirl :
That's what I wondered. Maybe I'll just read and talk about it and not put all that other stuff in there. Or something. But thanks. I know it's for me ... but I like to hear what other people think too. Plus, you know me, I like the notes!
from zatch :
do you play the harpsichord?
from mister-ed :
i betcha will do, must happen all the time, or if not three, then four.
from the-book-bag :
Well, you COULD always start a crazy private diary, but I think anyone who read it woud know immediatedly that it was you. -cat
from themoodswing :
My cell phone message used to tell people that I was too busy and important to talk to them hehe ;)
from cryoutlooud :
No I didn't get your mail but yes that's my crisis. Or at least part of it. I am just very confused lately and hope you would meet me in chat. Thanks.
from xnavygrrl :
I actually have the book that website is based on. The illustrations you gave cracked me up. It certainly made reading it more interesting!
from turtlemomma :
Someone else who likes popping stuff? Yeah it's gross but I can't help it :o) heh ~K
from augustdreams :
D'oh! I'm sorry. I left you a comment but when I went to correct my apostrophe placement (I am a HUGE grammar geek - well, okay. I'm a short grammar geek. But still...) it showed up twice. Sorry about that. Anyway, you should know that I adore your diary. Thank you for sharing your writing.
from oli-f :
just leaving a note because i'm slightly drunk, lesbians = good and i think you're cool ;)
from candoor :
temporary self doubt, I hope (not a serious thought of stopping your writing here?)... continue, please continue :)
from xnavygrrl :
awww, honey, I'm thinking of you. I'm sorry you feel so alone. Sending good thoughts your way. Your pal, Missy.
from acuttersedge :
Eh alright, 100 copys it is. lol
from demi-orphan :
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! Now I'll be able to sleep tonight. Thank God(dess) for friends... or else all we'd have would be our families. *shudders* :) Read y'a later... D/O
from acuttersedge :
You bring light to places that I never realized were there. You are brillant. You should write a book. Seriously, I would buy a 100 copys....I sound like a stalker. But I guess, my big point to all of this, I am just mega thankful that you write the way you do, I need the laughs.
from banefulvenus :
I clicked on your burger king banner. LOVE your site and your sense of humor!! :)
from delighted :
thank you so much for your comment in your favourite entries section! I'm all flustered and blushing!
from reallyhuman :
Absolutely. But your diary seems interesting, I'm gonna read you.
from lemonbar77 :
No, no. No badge, no authority. I'm talking total covert, wait behind a pillar, snatch and run type of thing. Vigilanty hat returning.
from bitchslap69 :
thanks for leaving me a note!
from prreject :
Regarding your great note about fake restaurant names: I love making up names for the following: -fake bands (I'm currently in two, one is called Testify and one is called The North Paulina Rebellion) -fake restaurants (Copy Kitchen is seriously, I think a great name. Plus a great concept. Like, it could be a copy shop/fresh fast food joint on college campuses. Hold on, I'm brilliant.) -private nicknames for other people. Everyone has one. Milkbone, Presidential Hair, Little BO, etc.
from lemonbar77 :
Thanks for the comment. I started reading some of your entries/profile and I was sooo happy. Sabrina, Roald, writing, lesbian: so many of my favourite things! And yeah, if you ever see anyone wearing an olive green knit cap and you think they might have found it on the Picadilly Line, you just yank it off they're head and send it to me. You have my permission.
from angel0fdeath :
So you really like my layout? Both Molly and I agree that the rocks and squiggly lines resemble sperm. That makes me wanna change it, ya know? Oh, and hey, I found a shirt that was made just for you! Check it out: http://www.tshirthell.com/shirts/tshirt.php?sku=a59 :D Oh, and just so you know, Tia and I are gravely upset with you. You changed your profile and don't say nifty things about us anymore. :(
from sockpotato :
That would work. However, I go to school here, so I kind of need to stay. But once school is out, I am gone like oxygen at an old folk's home.
from lollygrass :
Oh that's GOOD. Someone else just told me about her crazy cousins in Kansas - her cousin married this mormon guy whose sister had been sexually abused by their other brothers (two of them) and she had pressed charges against them. Well, at the wedding THE FAMILY HAD CARDBOARD CUTOUTS MADE (LIFESIZE OF COURSE) OF THE BLACK SHEEP BROTHERS WHO WERE LEGALLY NOT ALLOWED TO COME NEAR HER and they included them in the family pictures. She said it was the most bizarre, sad and hilarious thing ever.
from bookwormish :
Hehe. Yeah, I'm looking forward to owning a Prince Harry postcard one day... and I'm glad I shall be thought of, lol!
from bookwormish :
Hey! I read the note you left me...thanks! And you're right, I actually own a postcard of William's head; my friend Naadia brought it for me from London and now it's one of my most prized possessions...sad, isn't it? Well, thanks for taking the time to leave me a note. <3 Amanda
from lambrini :
i am real, real as real can be, why would i not be real? i guess im missing something.... care to help me out? gembob x
from nimiiwin :
Wow. I finally made it into purplebanana's buddy list! But, what? No comment? Dawg. :) C'mon ... surely you can think of something!
from tea--code :
i didn't give anything away :] ender's shadow is bean's story, and when bean is in battle school working with ender -- you're getting the story of ender's game, from another point of view. it's fantastic. you can read it right after ender's game, and then go on to shadow of the hegemon and shadow puppets. they're both really really good, but they get more political than anything else. the three that come after ender's game (and were written before ender's shadow), are 3000 years after ender's game, but ... ender's still the main character, haha. those are also really good, but not like ender's game. i own all of them, and i love it, so i'd recommend buying all of them, and reading all of them. most fans continue to love ender's game the most, but it's wonderful to get such an insight into all aspects of the story. thanks for your note!
from teen-christ :
sorry no dollar, but hey if I actually run into you mabye i'll spare one.
from daises :
Thanks for being all nice and leaving me a note! You actually saved my day, providing me with a good diary to read while I suffered through work... I'm going to add you to my buddy list no (me and a squadrillion other people...) And go to a doctor about that infection! Trust me, it could turn real bad. Bleh.
from themoodswing :
Ugh, I wasnt aware you cant use tags in note (sorry) :/

'Prima Donna' is Italian, <i>Prime Donne</i>, or <i>First Lady</i>. It was a name given to the leading lady in an opera :)

from zatch :

from themoodswing :
Gay marriage is going to be made illegal in Australia soon too. Not only that but the government will also act to stop gay couples adopting children from overseas. However local adoptions will be the decision of the state governments (so different states could end up having different laws). John Anderson, who is Acting PM when Lohn Howard is away, said recently in a Melbourne newspaper that people who choose that particular "lifestyle" have to give up certain rights, and one of those rights is the right to have children. And we're apparently a free society. God it makes me mad. No one would choose to be gay if it means they're second-class citizens, which they basically are. I dont understand how the government can make laws to protect gay rights, but then turn around and tell them they have no rights in other areas. It should be all rights or none at all, and since they wouldn't DARE taking away all rights, there's really only one thing they can, or should, do. I really hope these laws don't go ahead :(
from candoor :
it's like I wander about in this enourmous circle and here I come around again (even if I had a different name the last time I was here)... I still enjot your writing... and I sent the email :)

I definately found the same thing! It's like the took all my lumpy gross fat and smoothed it out with a spatula.
from emma-regina :
Hi! I've just got your note; the password for my diary is 'lunacy' and the username is 'emmaregina' if you want to have a look.
from themoodswing :
Well hi back :) I've just poked around your diary and I must say I'm very jealous - I would LOVE to live in London *le sigh* And I love your layout :)
from cryoutlooud :
Hey Alison, I just want to thank you for all you have done for me during the last year. I believe that it probably was your good influence which helped me come out and be as happy as I am now. Why I am telling you this now I do not know. I just felt the need to make sure you know how grateful I am.
from oladybug0 :
Happy Tuesday right back at ya mister sister!
from yamaa :
Thanks for the note. I like the whole chunky + pregnancy = good. I saw a woman this weekend and noticed she had a huge ass, in proportion to what I could see of the rest of her body. She then turned sideways and I could see she was also hugely pregnant and obviously needed the huge ass to counterbalance her belly; otherwise she would have been tipping forward all the time. Heres to ovulation and sperm with great motility!
from nimiiwin :
THe note you left me was all a bunch of HTML code. What was it supposed to be?
from salazabr :
It's all good, they're both good colors. =)
from salazabr :
Ok, we'll go with yellow but the green looks really cute dontcha think?
from deejayelle :
Mmmmm, hrmmmm, I think it's your screen. The only time my words overlap is when I highlight the text. But thankyouthankyouthankyou. I worked hard on that layout :) Hope the apartment hunt is going well. xoxo
from salazabr :
Laughing my ass off!! Thanks!! =)
from salazabr :
HUH?! I forgot my decoder ring so you're going to have to help me out on this one.
from nimiiwin :
Number 3 today. Ooo-kay. I could still give blood even if I had "dyke" tattooed on my forehead. Apparently, they don't care about lesbians. Only gay men. Because we all know that straight people don't get HIV. /sarcasm.
from nimiiwin :
Mmm-hmmm. You have no idea, then. :) Well, the answer is 6. Thanks for the note, chica mia. And a long one at that!
from nimiiwin :
*ehem* Even you, my soon-to-be-officially-British friend, ignored my plea for notes. C'mon! Try to figure out the math problem: if there are 29 students who have pets, 20 have dogs, 15 have cats, then how many have both? You can do it! I know it!

Like I said before what ever floats your boat, The reason I think alot of people, like myself, don't understand is because we are taught that way by our parnets. Like I am Black and I use to live in N. Florida were it is very racist and i use to get so angry when people use racist slurs towards me, but then I learn to not become angry with those people that I should be sorry for them, for its ignorance that fuels them. Thats why I don't understand Gay and Lesbian marriages because I am so ignorant about it. I just need someone to come along and open up my eyes, and of course I can blame the U.S. and its thousand conservatives. I hope that made some sense to you I know I tend to not sometime..... that just made no sense. ^_^

Yes, that'd be great, thank you. And no I don't think it's weird. I have read your diary before, so you're not a complete stranger! Hehe. Love Hannah xxx
from fonzess :
hehehe...oddly enough, I've been looking forward to that...
from girl-razor :
I've been to this diary before. I've liked this diary before. You like my layout, I think we make a great pair. ♥ If you're making pizza, just make sure you share :D ♥
from ophelia-w :
Thank you. But if I were dead then I wouldn't have any wants anymore, and everything would stop. I can't cope anymore. I'm tired of always pretending, and making such an effort. Love, Hannah xxx
from nimiiwin :
Thanks, chica! I think the boys are cute, too! :)
from bloodnhate :
i love crying. yet sometimes, i think ive cried too much, or i cant cry anymore. :(
from ann-frank :
you got me with the banner!
from dragonsnaps :
Thank you for the note, and thank you for noticing the quote. I can just as easily apply it to the people around me as well :) I like your diary and your template, by the way.
from papersack :
Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I added you to my buddylist. I love your template :)
from salazabr :
Gotcha, I just emailed you. =)
from parlance :
Nah. I like them, too.
from parlance :
I'm not really sure, myself. I just copy and paste them :)
from parlance :
from on-the-links :
I don't know how long ago you left that note since I never go on this username since there are STILL no directions for public diaries.... but, thanks!
from brittbrat :
Hey. Thanks for the note. I really appreciate it. It's hard sometimes not to know what I believe or if the few things I'm certain on are wrong. i've read a few of your entries and I commend you for your honesty. It can be difficult to be completely honest with the few who read my journal.
from false-apathy :
Aiyo... Thank you.
from iluvbananas :
thankyou. that means bunches of grapes.
from hadlian :
haha... nice meeting u too! keep smiling...
from shehides- :
lol yeah I know! Good old Nick at Nite! lol well thanks for leaving me a note. ps cool diary. <333 Stacey Boo
from facedown91 :
Hey thanks for visiting my diary!! "black chipped finger-nail polish, you say i'm gothic well think what you wish!!!"
from irishblueyes :
Hey there. Thank so much for your note. I really look forward to reading more, I loved your current entry...it's so hard to look back on write on the teenage years with clarity, I think you did so beautifully!
from nimiiwin :
However, more cooing over Ruby is always welcome!
from nimiiwin :
You're a *perfect* fan! Perfect! And if you want to know what offering me your wife gets you ... go check out my comment to dangerspouse.
from salazabr :
LOL! Gotta love email. =)
from p-brain :
You're welcome. =)
from nimiiwin :
Oh Wait! I just had a "duh" moment! Now I know what you mean by do I want to put that link on my template! I do! I do! Now I just have to figure out how!
from nimiiwin :
Hey! Do you want me to delete the note with your HTML stuff and location of your files? We don't want the whole world to be able to use your files, now do we? :)
from p-brain :
No you're not stupid for not finding it. It's kinda hidden. Go to Merchant Tools in the menu at the top. Under the headline Website Payments you'll find the Donation link. In there you can decide how you like it and you can choose buttons and so on. =) The only problem is, I don't know how to transfer any money fron the PayPal account to my bankaccount. It looks like what you recieve (from ebay for example) is collected at the PayPal account for you to use it later on. Think I have to look into that someday. ;)
from black-girl :
Ball grabber, eh? I guess that IS what I am. =) Glad to be aboard.
from cryoutlooud :
Do you have time for a chat???
from nimiiwin :
Okay, are *all* your notes gonna be from me? I'm fixin' to leave work here in a minute, but I'll put that link in tomorrow! Promise.
from nimiiwin :
I want the one at the top of your page about it. And I'll write all about it tomorrow, then!
from nimiiwin :
I *wanted* to put your link up but I couldn't get the image to work! What do I do? Help me out here, oh HTML goddess.
from nimiiwin :
 So, my badgering worked, did it? I'm glad you like the pictures! ;) While you're in Michigan, you could come see Ruby live and in dog, if you like. :) Oh, and me, too!
from nimiiwin :
*ahem* and no comments about Ruby? Hmpfh. Or better yet, f**king Hmpfh.
from unhappyboy :
I think it was my mum that eventually found out they were hymn numbers and told us.
from twinker-bell :
thanks for directing me, I feel a *little* caught up, i think those 3 things were in the wrong order.... but more importantly you're wonderful and it will all work out wonderful :-)
from nimiiwin :
Thanks for the nice note. 6 months is it. If we don't know by then, we won't know, will we? :( Well, you're bound to come back to the glorious state of Michigan one day. For more than a minute. We'll have that coffee-date, then. Or else, I'll just have to come to London to see you! Oh, don't worry ... I won't ask to sleep on your sofa! ;)
from p-brain :
Eh... thank you?!? =) Well, I saw your banner and had to have a look. But I haven't read many entries yet so... the only way for me to remember your username (I can be quite forgetful) is to add you. Interesting entry you had today. I never had a Darla myself. Sometimes I wish I did. It would spice up my life some. =)
from soul-glimpse :
hey it took me long enough but what can i say, i'm a working girl. unfortunately i don't mean that in a prostitute kind-of way: i'd be making a fuckload more money. i really appreciate your comments though: pretentious can be entertaining sometimes (and to an extent). i'm really just throwing this poetry mess out there and hoping can appreciate it; i don't need recognition: just enough nice comments (like yours) to know i don't completely suck you? anyway have a great day. sorry this was so long (and now longer!)
from angel0fdeath :
That'd be nice (the rape crisis center comment). It just kills me that someone could do something like that, ya know? ..And that no one seems to really care. There are half a million rape cases across the U.S. that are just sitting on a shelf and collecting dust in a police station's backroom. Hm.. Did you know that only 2% of rape victims will see their rapist caught and convicted? Okay, I'm through with the facts. Sorry if I'm going overboard. :(
from cutie1083 :
I always worry that my diary is TOO open. I was raised to believe that emotions are BAD and displaying your feelings is the worst thing in the world, but about a year ago I couldn't deal with all the stuff that was pent up in my thoughts, so I started the diary. I said I wasn't going to be so open, but once I started typing I couldn't stop sharing my feelings, and in a way I kinda like it now b/c it's the only place where I can say what I want and show exactly how I feel. I loved that entry you wrote...especially the end. My parents did that kind of shit all the time; we had to eat food that we hated or we couldn't leave the table and we got smacked around a lot. Reading what you wrote was pretty powerful for me.
from cutie1083 :
Oh, and since you're only the second person to really be fascinated by the incident with the roses...do you think I should've posted that, or was it a complete overshare? Let me know what you think.
from cutie1083 :
I'm glad my insanity fascinates someone. I think it's just a phase though, so enjoy while it lasts...one day I may be "normal".
from cutie1083 :
You're reading my stuff? *Blush* Feel free to stalk all you want.
from bluerelic :

from wench77 :
hey, thanks for doing my babelessdyke survey! Cool to get answers from another dyke who'd like to have kids! you say your wife... have you gotten married (I just got back from SF this week, and it is the happenin thing there the past two weeks!) You might want to read the book "Challenging Conceptions" which has interviews with sperm donors etc, re your best friend. It is cool (from the UK) and DYI. Good luck! Maybe when I am less overwhelmed by a week of unread emails and buddy diaries I'll come back and read your diary! thanks again!
from ghostiness :
Heya! I feel honored to be spoken to by the coolest lesbian in the world. *bows* Anywho, "Hi" right back, and hope you have a wonderful evening. :)
from cacophic :
OH I get it now...the ring I lost...I am so sorry. I thought you were trying to get me to join a ring or something...Im wicked sorry. Sorry, sorry, sorry. Thanks for your note.
from cacophic :
What are you talking about? You left a note for me about some God diaryring? I don't want to find that at all! I've never talked to you before! I am NOT religious, please don't try to solicit me!!!
from bluenadia6 :
Thanks for commenting on the citrus-scented freshness that is my diary. It makes me want to run and get a Glade plug-in or something, you know?
from virulency :
Holy crap on my face, you have so many notes. Thanks for leaving me a note! Choppy goodness is indeed.... choppy goodness, and so are Mary Kate and Ashley movies.

This is a test. (beep) This is a test of the Emergency Valentine's Day System. (EVS) This test is to see if leaving notes around DLand will make this a wonderful day (and weekend) in spite of not particularly being with anyone romantically at the moment. (ummm) May the results be that all this love in my heart found some productive use. (smile) And maybe a giggle or few (Happy V-Day from my other persona too :)
from lasteluv :
i love your webpage! and HRC! good work! -steph

from limited2 :
I just wanted to leave a little note. Because your guestbook wasn't working for me. I really liked "where's my star" poem. I am just astounded of your creativity. Maybe I should get some pointers from you. Call me 14 years old. but I maybe more than what you think..lol. I'm sorry for venting in your notes page. I think I just talk to much..I guess?..lol. There I go again. But then again loved your poetry from the past. The End. sincerely, candy
from nimiiwin :
You are hilarious! Thanks for the note. As it turns out, Barbie is a lesbian ... at least this Barbie is. Isn't it frightening that, at 37, my family still calls me Barbie? Makes me sound like a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader! Thanks for stopping by ... I'll definitely be back now that I know you won't use poor grammar *and* you're funny! And one more thing - you're in London. Why on God's green earth would you want to go to *Wisconsin*? I'm in Michigan which is just next door to WI and trust me ... now's not the time to come here ... it's 10F and 10" of snow.
from demi-orphan :
Pladder?! oops... God damn early, cold winter morning typing! Thanks for the message...and for stopping by! Later...D/O
from idiot-milk :
Well, you should thank me, of course. I mean, curse me, too. I'm quite certain I deserve cursing, just not for the badgers. Love the badgers, embrace the badgers, make friends with the badgers. The badgers are your friends. Anyway, so yeah. Ahem.
from leebozeebo :
Yeah, Newwave is always telling people to do stuff. "Hey, open this jar for me. Hey, eat this thing I dropped on the floor. Hey, sniff my stinky girl-farts." Sometimes it's better overall to just sort of pretend you're listening while edging out the door.
from psychosookie :
too cool for me is a good thing. I am very cool myself. [har har. i am so witty.] =)
from psychosookie :
hey, you signed my guestbook a long time ago and I don't think I ever replied back but I think now is a good time for contacting people and I just wanted to say thanks. And I've been reading your diaryland on and off and I find you too cool for a poor high school student like myself.
from salazabr :
Thanks for making me a favorite. I am honoured that the "coolest lesbian on the planet" and the woman who introduced me to this world would list me. =)
from twinker-bell :

Third world countries would probably save us a lot of leg work but is there a 'Starbucks' in the Congo? / Thanks for sharing with me in my notepad and the rest of diaryland in your jotter. You're honesty is refreshing and appreciated. / John Wyndham is a favorite author, eh? Just finished reading "The Chrysalids" for the third time. One of my favorite books of all time! from emz-secrets :

Hi! Great diary. Can I add you to my faves? Wow... I read about the whole thing with your dad... The entry I mean... and it touched me. It really did. I went through a similar situation, but I dont' hate my dad. It's a hella long story. Someday, I may tell it. Anyway, just wanted to say aloha! and found your diary to be very interesting.

Shit! That's just awsome someone else is going to be from Lake Geneva! I've been waiting for another person to show up on that diaryland search thing.. I must have checked it almost an average of every month hoping someone else would show up to be able to praise or complain about things here to. So yeay! Its lovely here, sometimes a little boring.. but that happens everywhere. And if your 21 theres always bars :P Oh! Dont eat at the Taco Bell here, I've heard stories.. Or Hanneys on Broad St., Don't eat their eggs, but their pancakes are great! Well, I guess that's all. Have a good day.
from magicalduck :
Speaking of fun names..yours is great too! YOu were the first person to leave me a note! And you like the Labyrinth! I will definately have to check out diary. will you be my friend?
from phonics :
oops, excuse the repetition below. must've been excited. That should read cat, not car. ahem. Mxx
from phonics :
okay, you've got me there. The problem all started because the first thing I ever stole was a box of matches and it escalated from there. The second thing I ever stole was a budgie - and that's where I first found the pleasure in matches. For four seconds that little blighter was flying around the room like a phoenix until, with a final squark and a backwards somersault style dive, he plummeted to the carpet in a puff of smoke. The house was burned down, I haven't seen my car since and I doubt very much the poor thing rose like a car since and I doubt very much the poor thing rose like the 'phoenix from the flames' in all those stories. Anyhoo - I could steal...um...water? Mxx
from growpeace :
Hi, I was so happy for you that you finished your paper and now all these problems hit at once. I am sending you strength. You don't know me, but I care. Aloha from Joy with Hawaii's Noisy Frog Invasion News. Come read my diary sometime to take your mind off your troubles for a moment.
from thatmarygirl :
happy anniversary!
from mcmenses :
you do realize you've written 545 journal entries here. Therefore, the dissertation cannot be impossible, right? You shall prevail PB. Oh, and thanks for the shout out.
from mcmenses :
checked out yours too---what fun. Sounds like we actually have a bit in common. Usually when I tell someone that, they throw themselves off a tall building... I'm going to try to keep up with your diary, if you don't mind---witty and insightful stuff there, chickie!
from poetica826 :
Hi PB! I just read your 10 things list and thought it was really funny. I'm feeling a little creative deficiency right now and I think I might write my own list as a diary entry. Hope you don't mind.
from jennasreview :
who would you want your diary to be reviewed by: chic-chicka or sweetheart96?
from equacea :
A sharon fruit is a random fruit I picked up in M&S many years ago... I bought one because my friend and I thought it was an incredibly silly name for a fruit. Needless to say, it was disgusting!
from surfking :
how do you be a hero for yourself?
from equacea :
Ya, it's quite a good shop. It does body piercing and tattoos and sells stuff like candles, inscence and some hippy, goth and punk stuff... I'm in Doncaster; although there are Blue Banana's in other places. There's one in Lincoln, Plymouth and Swindon. There's probably othe but I'm not sure (http://www.bodypiercing.uk.com/blue2.htm <---their rather crap website). Hmmm... Wild carrots, aye? What a silly, silly name for a carrot. Not as silly as a 'Sharon' fruit, though... HOW silly is that? Oh dear oh dear...
from equacea :
He's very clever. Indeed, a Purple Banana is very random. We have a groovy shop near me called "Blue Banana" which seems to be run by cute dykes; it's all good! You know, carrots used to be purple... Seriously! Mwahaha
from equacea :
Hullo! Just stumbled upon your diary... Sorry to be all random and stuff but... I'm loving the template! Did you make it yourself? *Is impressed by the extreme HTML cleverness* Bloody cool name, too...! :D
from lkvw23 :
each time i read your diary i find a new format, it's like a game of what's next... nice.
from lkvw23 :
I'm glad to see things coming together for you... Is your next goal to take over Womyn's Fest and have a bunch of half naked hippie lesbians chanting your name? That would only make sense. :-)
from emma-rylie :
your really...random. you kinda ramble on with a comical sort of humor.
from nikki13 :
can't go to my diary now!!
from angelz15 :
how come you were being mean to us on the best friends diary chat you didn't have to do that. We weren't even calling you a jerk and then you got mad all of a sudden~we were talking about someone else.
from suchanerd :
Hey Alison, I just wanted to drop you a note to say I'm so sorry to hear about your father. I really hope everything turns out all right; you and your family are in my thoughts.
from redstar316 :
One of the only times someone got to my diary through a search engine, they were searching for "pee in pants". My diary link was at the top of the results. I'm not sure what that says about my life. ~Steph
from drunkhippie :
Me like your name. it's very good. :)
from starlight42 :
Good entry, some of that was pretty funny!
from starlight42 :
have a good weekend. ya, i know, i need a buck too! guess i shouldn't have offered to give one away! haha. hope you feel better.
from starlight42 :
Isn't that great when you can find diaries that make your day? So cool.
from starlight42 :
Thanks for signing my guestmap. That's so funny about you rapping for a few days in college. I would be so bad at that. London sounds so nice. I want to visit there some day. I was just talking yesterday (for work) to a lady from London...about how the snow never "sticks" there, except it did the other day I guess. Congrats on your anniversary!
from starlight42 :
wow, two people today that were originally from Michigan! I know Milford, it's about an hour north/west of me. I'm in Madison Heights (about a half hour north of detroit) Cool! Good job on your diet! It's so hard to loose weight. Have a good weekend too!
from uhavnoidea :
Good luck finishing the craft! As one professional to another I suggest making sure the lines are straight and the colors are vibrant. With those two things ok, what the hell could be the problem? Hope you are doing well, say hi to Nasher for me!
from fdistance0 :
hey hey. I just stumbled upon your diary randomly, and you seem like a really great person. You have a strange sense of humor (which I can totally vouch for) and I have to bck you up on that. lol. see you around.
from redstar316 :
You are the greatest person for doing that. I highly recommend David Sedaris. You can't go wrong with a funny gay man that can write humorous stories of his family. Good stuff. ~Steph
from redstar316 :
It was the book list you had on your old diary and it had such titles as "Holes", "Handmaid's Tale", and "Lap Dancing for Mommy". I just got in David Sedaris who I heart (and believe everyone should read)! I'm really not a picky reader and find many things compelling. Except the textbooks I'm reading now. I need to escape. ~Steph
from fantabulouss :
Hey. I was just wondering.. how do you find out what people searched to find your page?
from muyguapa :
For dystopian fiction try Anthem by Ayn Rand and We by Yevgenyeven Zamyatin. Oh and for a bit of a laugh Sewer, Gas, Electric by Matt Ruff.
from suzysootoo :
heh. suzysoo seems to have disappeared leading to the creation of suzysootoo. read it at suzysootoo.diaryland.com
from redstar316 :
Do you remember doing a list of books that you recommeded to everyone? I took your advice on some of those books and loved them. I think you should make another list for those of us who like your taste, but don't get to read half of the books you get too. Help promote literacy! Thanks, Stephanie p.s.- Did you know that Disney is making a movie based on the book "Holes" by Louis Sacher? I secretly want to see it.
from guitkoko :
Dear Purple B -- The death thing is totally normal (I think). I do it all the time, too. I've done it all my life. Everytime my parents would leave for work when I was little, I would watch them drive away and remember what they looked like, what they did or said to me in case that was the last time I ever saw them. I do the same thing with all of the other people I love now. I think it's a good fear to have. This way, you definitely appreciate things to their fullest. I enjoy your diary. Koko
from flutterbeth :
a flutter copy? that's nuts. i can't believe it's been this long since i've talked to you. i read the wtf diary and almost peed my pants.
from flutterbeth :
well "hi" to you too. it seems like i've talked to you since summer cause i read your diary, but well, i guess we haven't. this summer is going to be wierd without you two there, but i'm sure we'll manage. anyway, i'm glad that you're doing well in the uk cause for a while there i thought your boredom was going to make you spontaneously combust, and suzy would walk in to see your chared feet and calves under the computer. woah i put too much thought into that. anyhow, i'm glad to hear from you. talk to you soon. flutter
from lkvw23 :
there isn't such a thing as my "alison homemaker ass..." but there IS my "alison dirty all the dishes and do nothing ass"

i tried to send you a christmas card, i hope you got it!

i KNOW he died... my POINT was how could you EVER replace timmy... dumb ass
from lkvw23 :
WHAT has become of passions...i turned it on for the 1st time in years, they have replaced timmy with this little girl doll with a sewn up face...
from lkvw23 :
you forgot to mention also your fear of walk-in closets and bath robes... and as i recall you must have gotten over your fear from toilets... or were the cries and moaning that came from the bathroom always you fighting off the hand??
from lkvw23 :
i think your new identity should involve some of those wonderful sweaters we dug out of your closet... especially the pink one
from lkvw23 :
i found a 3D walking hello kitty you can download... i'll let you know where for $50

how many times do you have to think you have menengitis?? or did you FORGET the nurse line incident??? :-)
from lkvw23 :
why are you this way...
from lkvw23 :
um, there actually is a purple banana, it's from mexico, apparently they have an array of banana colors down there... but if you ask me you choosing banana stems from your need for color and ultimate desire to have a penis for a week...
from ughisme :
It is Adventures In Babysitting that you were thinking about. Both funny flicks though.. hehehe
from spacebabe :
I think it might be 'Adventures in Babysitting' with Elisabeth Shue

I think elitebitches has to be my favorite name for a diary ring ever. Just stumbled onto this diary and decided you were the kind of person who deserved a dedicated stalker. Hi, I'm Mongi, I've already added this diary to my favorites list and will be checking back everyday to see if you've written anything. Don't be too quick with that restraining order, I have alot of free time on my hands.

Welcome to the I Like Girls Ring!!!;)
from kynalynn :
Oops... I accidentally removed you from the "I Hate Pennies" ring. Total accident. Please re-apply? Sorry about that. :o)
from lkvw23 :
you know...i thought i went nuts when i joined some rings... but as always your cumpulsiveness has overshadowed anything i did by far... and really the poop ring is probably the most fitting of them all so i don't mind mine being included in that list... all i remember is the times i'd be sitting in the living room and the screaming and moaning that would be coming from the toilet... good times.

update April 6, 2020: Sorry, we just had 8+ hours downtime due to a server problem. Restoring from backups took soooo long, but everything is back and no data was lost. Ay yay yay! Anyhow, hope everyone is well with the virus stuff.
