from what I have been told, spacers are little bits of plastic they shove between your wisdom teeth so the wire on the braces will fit. my friend Shanleigh says they're excruciating and even the nurse what told me about them said she woke up in the night crying and she has a very high pain tolerance. so. I'm nervous.
