Hey there, Canadian! Thanks for the note. I of course realize that not everyone who is religious is so to a degree in which it blinds them- but there are some out there. I don't have any issues with people of faith, it just irks me to the n-th degree when they refuse to accept people for who they are. I remember back when I was 16 years old it came out to my extended family (grandparents, aunts, cousins) that I didn't believe in god- they jumped all over me trying to convince me I would be going to hell unless I started to believe again. I thought to myself, "you know, fear isn't a good reason to believe in anything". Just out of curiosity, how did you stumble across my diary?

First of all, love the layout. Secondly, cheers for unexpected, happy e-mails. Thirdly, i had to lock my diary because some people were interpreting it wrongly and then telling MORE people the wrong interpretation. It led to semi-ugly rumors and I didn't appreciate it. You're welcome. I found that once I lost the woman I loved to another man, that it wasn't feeling right to want her after a while. Don't expect immediate results but it will help to break away unless you want to go full fledged and win his affections by finding out what it is that he is looking for. I've had three woman that I was craving in my lifetime, only three. The third one and me have been through a lot and I am willing to leave if it gets tough on her or me. But we've come back to each other mutually, not just by me, but mutually, after about 20 breakups and gettogethers or more in two years coming November 2004. If you want some sobering stuff, see my new entry in which I open my heart with all the gritty stuff in my relationship past but with the relationships before this recent one. It's a sad thing but life is a journey, till we find the things we want.

Oh, you are NOT being selfish. Maybe his parents or Ryan coddle the kid, I don't know. But if he's 17 and almost an adult, it's about time he act like it. The world is not going to hand him everything on a silver platter and he needs to get used to it. Least of all his brother's girlfriend. He sounds spoiled to me, and cheers for you for not cowing to it. You're doing him more good than the people that do answer his every beck and call. So, don't feel bad or "selfish" at all-- this kid needs the wakeup call. And if he really needs you to do that favor, then he should be responsible enough to offer you due compensation for the gas and time you were giving up. Be strong, Joanne! You're completely in the right here.

well, I like everything about the story line, if it does turn out to be true except for this whole Hattie thing & the devil!! I was seriously disappointed when I read that, I've watched day for about 15yrs & I only stopped once, and it was when Marlena was originally possessed by the devil. I just think it's so lame. It's too out there, you know? I'd like some of the story lines to be a little more down to earth. I could barely take it when they thought the twins were aliens! Oh well, we'll see. Hi there, Sorry, I tried emailing you but it kept sending it back so this is rather long for a note. Oh well. (By the way, on "your lovies" you forgot to put the dash, its meg-cntrygrl) Yeah, so anyways, I'm not really sure what I want to know either. I just kind of wanted to talk to someone who had experienced Lupus because we weren't very well informed about it at first. I have learned more about it but it is just that we don't really know what to expect. I know it is not the same with every person but if you feel like telling me a little bit about your experience, I would really appreciate it. Obviously, I would not be offended if you decided not to, or just decide to tell me as much as you feel comfortable, since I am a complete stranger and everything, asking personal questions about you. So its totally up to you. If you read my diary, it will tell you all about what has been going on. Basically, my boyfriend's 10 year old brother, Easton, has been diagnosed with Lupus. It was very scary because he was in the hospital for about two weeks and it took a very long time to discover what was wrong. He was extremely weak and lost a lot of weight. He was in a lot of pain and it tore my heart out to see him so desperate. He is on Prednisone, which kind of scares me, because I know it has a lot of side effects, and he might be on it for quite a few months. It has already caused him to gain 10 pounds in one week. He used to be pretty skinny and now he has big puffy cheeks, and a protruding stomach. So now he is on a strict diet which really sucks. He is hungry 24 hours a day and I hate having to deprive him of food, even though I know that its for the best. I'm just afraid that he is going to have to go through another flare and have to be hospitalized again. That was such a horrible experience for everyone. He is absolutely terrified of the hospital and needles, and they were doing blood tests like crazy and he had to be on an IV. I guess the worst part was probably not knowing what was wrong, so at least we know how and would hopefully be able to see the warning signs so it wouldn't be so bad. I guess my biggest question is how has Lupus affected your life? Well, thanks for listening to me ramble on and on. I had never heard of Lupus before this and when Lindsay told me that she knew you, I just wanted to talk to someone who had actually had the experience. So I'm sure anything you can tell me would be helpful. Sorry if I sound like a freak but I just have a lot of unanswered questions and I guess I just want so bad for him to live a normal life and not have to worry about any of this. Thank you so much. Well, the wedding thing has to do with two of my somewhat former friends. [They introduced Ben and & I] We had a falling out of sorts and now rarely talk yet she feels the need to stop by my house one day out of nowhere to show off her engagement ring to my mom and I. [My said, oh, that is a nice promise ring! HAHA]....Anyways, then she will call me and say they have the wedding rings picked out and that they have been dating for 5 years 6 days, 13 hours, etc.......It makes me want to vomit because I just really don't care. I don't like how he treats her, like she is his bitch or something and she just puts up with it. It is an all around bad sitation. They are 20 years old and have been dating for five years. It is bad news I tell ya Jo. And maybe I am also a tad jealous because I think why I am not getting married if they are getting married?? Maybe because Ben and I are not that dumb....?? Woah. What a rant this has been! Perhaps I should have emailed all this instead?? LoL.

It has a few other times. Once it was really late, and I got so nervous and feaked out about it that Dave and I broke up (I was a little freaked on committment) for about two weeks. The entries about it have since been deleted; it was last February. I didn't mention much of it in the diary b/c I didn't want it to be a topic then. I'm a bit freaked again about it now- so I'm about to go to the store...I don't think anything's up, but I'm going to check at least. It's probably my pill.
