I have missed you. It's been forever, you and your family are in my thoughts. How are you?
from left-undone :
hey you. thanks for the birthday wishes, it was well received and much appreciated. have not seen you online much, I hope we can catch up soon. let me know when your page is suitable for viewing. bye for now.
from starhearts :
to explain...I blame John for the debt including my house that I did buy because when he led the kids to moving out it took with them almost $1500 a month which was a huge part of my income annually that the decissions I had made about things like purchasing the house were based on...my income loss was HUGE and my debt ratio shifted incredibly when that happened. I will now be expected to also pay child support and John pays nothing...no lawyer as yet is going after him for the debt or the support and he walked away with well over $20,000 in assets (the exact number he will not be honest and disclose) while I walked away with all most all of the debt. So...that is all I can tell you at this point. I did not have a problem with the debt I was carrying because my income with child support was strong anough easily to carry it..now I am sinking and when the child support arears come in owing I will not just be sinking I will be sunk....and I do blame John for that because he created that crisis financially in my life. Had he left me and my kids alone I would be just fine without him. I don't want his money I just want him to actually be honest with me even for once in his life...and he isn't.

Thanks for the kind words and prayers for my grand daughter, she is back to good health. My thoughts are with you dear one, always in my prayers, Sandyz

I love the site you made for your sweet boy; my heart will always be with you. I will leave a message when I come up with the words I long to say, and you did a beautiful job on the page. Did you see I used the template you sent me? The picture was gone but I found this awesome wild rose. It took me some time to figure out how to get the template to work but I got it up and running. I wanted to thank you again for redesigning it for me, last time my life was a mess and I couldn't deal with change. My life is still a mess but I hated looking at my footprint page and knew it was time for a change. Thanks from the bottom of my heart, Sandyz (Thanks for your words of encouragement)

from captainron :
I bet you have a great cheeky pout :-)
from idontpretend :
Hiyas, thanks for messaging me. You lifted my spirits. :)
from captainron :
Awww, what a good friend you are :-)
from mugwhump :
Thanks for the note love. Sorry to hear about your fat lip...
from starhearts :
Thanks for your note and I know what you are saying. This is marriage #2 for me and with the kids being teens I am stuck a bit as neither kid wants to not live in the house provided by my work and John won't just give me a break and leave as he has it too good here..no bills, no rent, etc...dead beat remember. I have tried to get him to leave and now I am buying a house with reality that it may very well be my exit stage left... Stay tuned for more exciting events coming up LOL :) Hugs! C.
from shadesofblk :
Happy New Year to you and I can't wait to hear about your date.
from mugwhump :
Happy 2007 Becka!! You rock!
from cardiogirl :
Happy New Year Becka! I'm looking forward to your date just having read this last entry. Enjoy your New Year's kiss and have another to start 2007!
from starhearts :
Hey you forgot to tell me how young young is.... now I have to go back looking to figure out! I don't remember the entry with the young guy in it but it must be in here somewhere. Hope you had a very romantic and mushy bringing in of 2007 :) Ours is yet to come tonight....well the 2007 part anyways. Hugs! C.
from mugwhump :
I thought about you all day Dec. 24th. because I knew that our 24th was pretty much your 25th. I'm glad you had a special time. Make sure to be spending Dec. 31st with someone special too. Happy New Year Girly!! Hugs - LJ
from starhearts :
Congrads on a fun Christmas you deserve it!!!! As for weird weather, well we have no snow this Christmas...yep we always have snow but not this year. Even though where we live has very little snow there is always at least a dusting. My parents live in the snow belt here in Ontario and they have grass.... so yes the weather this year is WIERD! Anyways have a great time being home with the boys and all the new Christmas stuff :) C.
from fightn4life :
Everything you are feeling around this time of year is normal when a life has been shaken as yours has, my thoughts are with you tonight and prayers with you always. So you might get the little feet prints...I am so excited for you. Mine make me smile, I feel not so alone. They make me cry on a Christams Eve, a Birthady, the day our world stood still, as my heart longs for one more hug from my grandson, one more smile from my step daughter. I know each time I see my foot prints, I am not alone, I feel love from all who have loved and lost in many ways. I would love to know your reason for the feetprints...another set walking this earth is awesome. You made me smile tonight...thank you and Merry Christmas! Sandyz
from on-a-string :
Have an extremely merry Christmas, my friend!:)
from starhearts :
Marry Christmas (yep my wish for you at some point :) hehehe (0k or just some nice guy to cuddle anyways :) Glad to hear that you don't have to go and lock your diary as I would have missed reading along!!! Merry Christmas Becka! Love you and miss you!
from mugwhump :
My Ms. Rebeckajane - I wanted to send you a Christmas card this year, but I realized to late that i didn't have your mailing address. So, with that, I want you to know that my intent was there, and that I wanted to wish you the very happiest and healthiest of Christmas and 2007 wishes. Happy Blogging!!!

It's about time you write something. I was starting to worry....
from h2ophobic :
Hey girlie...what's new? I'm just checking in, making sure everything's ok.
from cardiogirl :
Hey Becka, Tell me how wonderful it is to be a twin. All of my life I have wished I was a twin. I even wished for twins the first time I was pregnant. Then I learned how difficult it is to take care of ONE baby, much less two at the same time. But, I still think it would have been so incredible cool to be a twin. Is it? (Please don't shatter my illusion.)
from starhearts :
HEY GREAT NEWS ABOUT NOT HAVING TO MOVE!!!! What a huge relief that must be I am sure!!!! Unpacking in the same house is not nearly as stressful I am sure :) Good news this end as I ended up getting my future mortgage approved and I get to buy this little house that I just applied for! It is about 10 minutes from here so it will be easy to care for and have the time to fix up some. I am really excited to be buying a place even if it is tiny :) C.
from shadesofblk :
Just catching up, I have missed so much. Glad you do not have to move.
from captainron :
a 401k is a savings retirement plan. You kick in some, pre-tax, the company kicks in some and hopefully by the time you retire there is enough to live on...
from cardiogirl :
Funny we're thinking along the same lines today. My husband is five years older than me, and never did date a man younger than me. I seem to gravitate to those older than me, maybe I have a weird father-figure issue. Enough about me, though. I might try to be friends with him (letting him know that's what your goal is right now) and see how things go. I have to admit, if my son was just seven years younger than him I would have a hard time getting around that. It would just seem strange. But maybe it's time to throw caution to the wind and see what happens. Good luck!
from ramblin-bill :
I think you should go for it... Have some fun. You deserve it.
from fightn4life :
SighI couldn't either. Hubby is a year older but I have noticed many of my friends are finding soul mates years their junior. I hated you having feelings and not following through because of what others might say/think. Bah! I listen to my heart, my decisions I live with are mine, not well intended others. I do understand when someone is close to one of my children's age I look at them as one of the kids. Sandyz

Don't get too hung up on age difference. Times are changing and older woman are dating younger men and not because they are desperate. Girls just want to have fun and at times, it's the younger ones that hold that key. Keep an open mind and listen to your heart. You're not much over 20 in your heart, honestly life is short, love can be fleeting don't miss the dance before the song is over. Sandyz.
from dandydandy :
Ya know, since women live a bit longer than men, it might not be such a bad idea...
from dandydandy :
I just wanted to tell you that I'm rooting for ya! I've been having a crazy time myself with multiple issues & I just know how it goes. Take care!
from cardiogirl :
Hi, yes ma'am, in the morning I seem to be taller than in the evening. I suppose there's a medical explanation to that after all!
from h2ophobic :
Two notes back to back...I'm quite the chatty girl this morning! Anyway...was your coffee a Carmel Macchiato? OMIGOSH, those things are CRACK for coffee drinkers. I don't usually drink sweetened coffee drinks - I'm fine with a splash of milk. But those are so yummy! I'm never sure if I want to drink it or pour it on the ground and roll around in it!
from h2ophobic :
Six Flags is a popular US amusement park. I think the original was in Dallas, TX and was named Six Flags over Texas. (Dallas is a few hours from where I grew up - as a teenager my friends & I would drive there for the day.) Now there are several spread out over the United States. Think Disneyland for older kids and without the goofy (yes...pun intended) life sized characters walking around trying to hug you.
from captainron :
You my dear are quite adorable... Nuff said. :-)
from starhearts :
WOW I was suprised to read your entry and glad that you were able to smile and laugh and have some fun today! I am impressed actually and this positive attitude when the going gets tougher will do you very well in life!!! See I learn something every day :) SMILING C.

I thought your job was only temporary (in your mind). That it wasn't in your field of education, but you'd do it to make ends meet now. Did I miss read it when you go the job?
from starhearts :
I'd give you the house I want to buy, but it would have to move from Canada to Austraila... :( In the meantime I think I will add your house hunting to my prayer list (can't hurt). I want you to be ok and if you start eating you might feel a bit better... worried about you so hang in there and HUGS from across the ocean! Keep in touch! C.
from fightn4life :
I just saw your pictureshow did I miss them? You're beautiful and so young looking, your boys adorable. For some reason I had you pictured close to what I see in the photos, a lovely young (very young) woman. Sandyz
from fightn4life :
I love thinking about things I did when I was young and having the chance to do them again as an adult. You know, there is a bit of a child left behind in all of us. I think you are right to listen to your inner thoughts and be wary of the warning bells. Too many times through life, the bells were ringing like crazy and I was too busy dancing to hear them. Hindsight is oh so much clearer. I've learned allot racing through bad situations before heeding the warnings. You are a step ahead of my youth. Keep it that way. ;) Sandyz
from starhearts :
Did you notice that day number 396 all the numbers divide into themselves... if you were into numerology maybe that would mean something unique or something. Anyways good thoughts sent your way and hope you are warmly thinkin of kissen the buddy guys you write to on d-land :) If so that is cool :) LOL
from ramblin-bill :
Yes, don't be caught being naughty. hehehe... I like the pics. I can always count on a smile when I drop by.
from h2ophobic :
What handsome boys and a gorgeous mom (or mum)! I especially like the one where you're sticking your tongue out! I agree...you look about 21 in those photos! I hope you find the home of your dreams at a ridiculously low rent. Be good or at least don't get caught being naughty!
from mugwhump :
What are you? 14? Where you like 6 when you had your boys??? You don't look a day over 21. I mean REALLY!
from cardiogirl :
Well done on the pictures! What a great family. Thanks for the good vibes you sent; they worked. Everything is status quo.
from mugwhump :
If you only have boys - then who's the girl in the photo's? Surely it's not you?!
from starhearts :
HEY YOU ARE NOW ON THE 399th DAY!!! :) Thanks for the note! Yep I am a grandma, had a son that I gave up for adoption when I was 15 and we met again when he was 15, now he is 22 and has a little girl who just turned 1 this past summer :) House hunting...well the waiting for something to come on the market that I can buy is still happening :( It seems to be taking FOREVER to find something. If I could get a higher mortage it would be very different...so to do that I need to stop spending so much LOL. Ya when will that happen?? :) Keep us posted on your house hunting I would love to see what you find to move to!!! I know it will be something that works for you guys so hang in there :) Hugs, C.
from shortst101 :
The pictures are awesome, just like you. Sighs, I really wish you were OK and that I could help in some small way. You know I'm here if you need me. But I do the same thing you do, same i'm OK when i'm really not. Hugsssss, miss you.
from dandydandy :
Great pics! And your oldest looks so much like you!
from starhearts :
Cute pics! (well except the one with your tongue out....) but otherwise great! :) Glad to see you and the boys are having fun together :) Hope the rest of life begins working out soon and life can go back to being happy most of the time again. I am sure that you have gotten this far and will do just fine. C.
from hissandtell :
Oh, what fabulous photos, and what a gorgeous family you are. I can see why you're so mad about your boys: they're just lovely. Love, R xxx
from starhearts :
Emotional is ok too you know...we all have them! Good, bad, happy, sad and other kind of times. It is good for you to be who you are the way you are when you write anyways. As for the 400 days, yep it is coming down in days quickly!!! HURRAY! :)
from cardiogirl :
I have meant to mention, I love your countdown on the bottom of your page. Where did you get that? Also, I need to catch up chronologically on your diary to find out just where "over the pond" you are headed.
from h2ophobic :
No ball but a new place to live in? Hmmm...perhaps Prince Charming will find you there?
from fightn4life :
My prayers are with you, i trust you will find a fine place for you and your family. Maybe some how you will get to get all dressed up and see the ball...just maybe. Keep the faith. Sandyz
from shortst101 :
we can have our own ball when you come to America next year. Sorry that you do have to move :(
from starhearts :
OHHHH and you were going to look so pretty all dressed up!!! Maybe your family should give you that as part of your chirstmas gift anyways (though I am not sure if you will have the time to go if you are now planning on moving...) What a huge job to pack stuff! I have been imagining packing our house and it is alot of work...we have more stuff by far then when we fist moved here. Do you hire a moving company or does family help you move???
from starhearts :
Congrad at having plans for new years so far in advance! I count this new years and next new years in your list - BOY IS THAT PLANNING :) and good plans at that! I am sure you will look wonderful in the dress regardless of colour, shape or style you just have that flair :) C.
from myownjourney :
Ha ha! I don't think you can be a stalker if the person you're stalking sends "you" pillows and stuff. If that was the case then the stalkee would be instigating the stalk-ing and thus would nullify the whole stalking situation... still, its pretty funny that you feel you have to defend it. But thats why I made the dare with you about the kissing the pillow thing. I knew you would get some flack. And flack is funny after all. ;-)
from iwashoping :
Aww Becka! What a tough situation to be plonked into! I'm sure you handled it wonderfully though. ^_^
from starhearts :
Abusive situations are commonly similar and this one is a classic case unfortunately. The woman leaves, goes back, leaves and then goes back..the pattern is very common. Unfortunately in this case the little girl realizes something her mom can't and the $1000's would be much better spent on the daughter. Hopefully her talk with you was blunt anough that she will look at a professional saying these things and have it help her to wake up. She is in a bad spot that is for sure!!! On another note, how long are you coming to America for? and what parts are in your plans to see it??? Sounds VERY EXCITING to travel!!! I think you will love it and want to stay ;)
from cardiogirl :
Ugh, I would have such difficulty talking to that client at work -- the one whose boyfriend is using all her money. I can understand that she loves him and is insecure, but it does make you want to shake her and say "You're better than this! You do NOT NEED HIM!" I suppose it's so much easier, when you are not in the eye of the storm, to see what's going on. Good job on trying to support her while being professional.
from captainron :
Morning Bec :-)
from mugwhump :
Oh my Rebekajane - you're beginning to sound a little 'stalkish' do we need to worry??? Does Ricky???
from starhearts :
Good to hear that you might not have to move. As for the pillow..boy sounds like one nice looking guy pic LOL :) AH dream and little dream and you will be in America in no time too! Hope you can come up to Canada some day to say hi :) tc Becka and keep smiling!
from dandydandy :
Yeah, the face on the pillow...I think it'd be a nice novelty at first, but eventually it would creep me out. LOL It is a nice gesture though.
from shortst101 :
Hey, can you email me your address?
from mugwhump :
Is there a way you could approach the bank about YOU buying the house? Or does that not interest you? 4 weeks - not very long to find somewhere else to go. At least here they are obligated to give you three months notice in the event of a sale (or the like). Unless you've proven yourself to be a bad tenant - that's different.
from shortst101 :
Boo on having to move again! But you will find something hopefully better than you are in now. Think positive. Have a good week!
from cardiogirl :
Hey r, Good luck on the house search. It's always something, isn't it? I suppose looking for a new home will give you material for your journal. I'm impressed with your upbeat outlook. I tend to complain more than anything, I'm working on that...
from starhearts :
Sorry to hear about your having to move & especially with it being such short notice!!! Your brief pics of the hall of your house that I saw when you posted the pic of the hole in the wall from the kids, made your house look pretty darn nice!!! I know you will find something that works and have a big anough family that moving will be a challenge but ok in the end! Hang in there!!!! C.
from hissandtell :
Hey, beckyboots, have I told you lately how much I adore you? Love, R xxx
from myownjourney :
I think... you're quite a lady. :-)
from starhearts :
Hey you did well at standing up for yourself and in the end you will get more respect! I can't believe your supervisor actually appologized!!!! They NEVER do this!!!! CONGRADUALATIONS and a good cry is never a miss so stand up tall :) I'm proud of you Becka!!!! You will do well! Hang in there!
from mugwhump :
Roller-coaster rides R Us! Hugs to you.
from shortst101 :
hugssssssssss, just keep being strong like you always are, this too shall pass. Miss you woman!
from starhearts :
Glad to hear your new job is going well to date and that it is challenging in a positive way! Mrjustbecause is a very lucky guy I am sure of it :)
from dandydandy :
I'm so glad you left me a comment re: divorce. I don't have any friends that are divorced (well, one but she remarried her ex!) and half the time wonder if my feelings are normal or if I'm just a complete nutcase. Also, I always dreamed that I'd teach my sons how to treat a woman, but then I realized, no matter what I do, my sons are more likely to model their Dad in this respect rather than their Mom. I do what I can. But strange isn't it how I feel protective of them when it comes to girls? I guess it isn't much different than my Dad telling me I'd better listen to him when it came to boys because he understood better what's truly going on in their heads. Heh.
from mugwhump :
I'm glad you opened with your first paragraph, cause I was just reading a certain young American dude's entry. And secondly - men do suck - it's just that we can't live without them and we really wouldn't want to change them up all that much. Oh ya, it would be nice if the could actually pee IN the toilet bowl, and it would be nice if they could actually put a dish IN the dishwasher, but I still wouldn't change them tooooo much. And Oh - by the way - get your Elfin Ass over here!
from starhearts :
well most men..."um well..ah..ya". (quote from my number one son..LOL) If you can find one that is ok HANG ON TO HIM FOR DEAR LIFE :) No I am just kidding actually most are ok it is just some days that they can bug ya. But then isn't that most people anyways :) CONGRADS on the new job and starting early!!!! Great to have a good income! Besides mrhandsome could be right around the corner from the next branch..you just never know....
from shortst101 :
I've gotten to where i hardly even open AIM these days. I miss chatting with you. Hugssssssss, have a good weekend.
from shortst101 :
Hey, I"m here if you ever need someone to vent to or talk with. And being across the world from you...not like I could tell anyone! Hugssssssssssss, I hope all goes well at the new branch.
from shadesofblk :
Thanks for the note...and right now I agree...men suck!
from nightdragon :
Your latest entry was so ... ummm, FUNNY! =D
from mugwhump :
I liked the title. It made me giggle.
from iwashoping :
I'm not sure what's the exchange rate of the australian dollar to euro but that's hella cheap compared to what we pay for petrol. When I say we I really mean people who chauffeur me around! Hehe!
from shortst101 :
Hugsssssssssss woman! Miss ya! (and Ron is right, they don't all suck)
from captainron :
We do not suck... Well, at least not me :-)
from starhearts :
Have a Great Trip Becka! C.
from on-a-string :
Hahah! Your bahootie isn't big enough? What a bizarre thing to even think to say.
from on-a-string :
I can sooo relate. I never watch Oprah in public...it leads to a disaster when the floodgates are opened and everyone can see.
from livingwreck :
Hope all is well with you.
from shortst101 :
You always make me smile with your entries. And reader's digest always makes me cry..and of course sappy movies. Hugsssssssss my friend, miss you.
from starhearts :
I like your list of what you learned this week. It is a nice approach to looking a life in a fresh light! Thanks for sharing them...C.
from shadesofblk :
Notjing wrong with being a single parent, specially one as awesome as you.
from fightn4life :
Loved your entry about how your emotions are triggered. You are an awesome writer. Being alone isn't so bad...I can think of millions of positive things about it today. ;) Sandyz
from captainron :
Hmmm, hopefully the cats innards do not smell April fresh....
from mugwhump :
My calendar says the 9th. And thank you from a well turkey'd Canadian!
from on-a-string :
The 9th:-P
from starhearts :
You know you have had a long week when....lol :) Well at least the cat food is clean now! This morning is laundry day here.... HOW do the socks and sheets grow like that?????
from shortst101 :
And yes I do know....I'm tired too. We need to do something about that! Hugs
from shortst101 :
LMAO....sounds like something I would do! Except we don't have a cat!
from sunpowered :

from mugwhump :

from shortst101 :
Hope you have a great week! Learn lots and have some fun! Love the poems from your old book too. Hugssss
from starhearts :
have a wonderful week and enjoy the hotel! Hope yours has an indoor pool! Remember your swimsuit just in case :) Congrads again on the exciting new job! Oh and I like the poem..reminds me of my undergrad days as an English major...very romantic (the poem that is) :)
from on-a-string :
I love that poem. I had a boyfriend who read that to me one morning and then kissed me and told me how much it reminded him of me...why didn't I keep him around again?
from candoor :
I would love to touch your books... laughing at the way that sounds, but no less serious :)
from angeleyescia :
Aw wow, I'm glad she had a good time! What parts of Ireland did she visit?? I'm proud to live here. When I was younger, I used to think that this country had nothing to offer anyone and it's history was that of weakness. But I realize now that being patriotism is all I have to offer this fair green isle and it's the best I can offer! ^_^
from myownjourney :
I memorized that poem a long time ago. From what I understand, it was written of a married women. Unrequited love and all that. It's my favorite poem... and yes, she does sound beautiful.
from mugwhump :
It was a rare North American who didn't watch the Walton's. I'm suprised you go it down there. That's cool. But then again - you gave us Dame Edna ....
from shortst101 :
Of course I watched the Waltons. Heck it's still on sometimes here and I watch it anytime I can. Those are the kind of shows we need to have on tv now. And you know your welcome, by the way, for the note. Goodnight John Boy.
from starhearts :
Glad everything is ok! Yep I watched the Waltons growing up. It was one of my Nana's favourite shows so we watched it when I went to visit. As far as being weak and being strong....makes sense to me. C.
from shortst101 :
I hope you are smiling today. You know how I am about worrying, so i'll not tell you not to worry, but I will say that i'm sure you have nothing to worry about, everything will work out no matter what it is. And I can't even imagine you are afraid of anything or have a fear of anything, you are so strong!
from on-a-string :
Chocolate...mmm...
from mugwhump :
Bottom line - which job brings in the biggest bucks for the most job satisfaction? Either way - they've hired themselves a crack-shot girl!!
from shortst101 :
what a beautiful song....thank you for sharing the words with me, now all I need to do is find it so I can hear someone singing it. You are a wonderful friend Becka!
from mugwhump :
Children grow up as adjusted/balanced as the lifestyle that is around them. You are striving to give them the best shot they can, and they will reap the benefits of that. You go girl!
from shortst101 :
All I can say is "Thank You" for always being so wonderful.
from ms-do :
excellent.....corporate girl now....smile
from mugwhump :
First off "Hi!", Second off - get the boys to assist the paid professional. They need to learn things don't just get fixed. (I'm not a parent, so advice is not always warranted or asked for). And Thirdly - Since we call you "Down Under". Do you call us in North America "Up Above"? Or possibly something else more dignified? :-) XOXOXOX
from starhearts :
HEY BECKA CONGRADS on the new job!!! And I have to add at least the boys did not put the hole in the wall on purpose or anything...nice pics of the house though as it is pretty from that angle regardless of the extra hole. Good thing your twin is so nice to offer to help! :)

Thanks for adding me as a fave! I'm enjoying your diary and am going to go back and read your archives. I don't remember where I saw your diary, but I had to check you out, because my name is Rebecca too! Hope you enjoy my crazy diary!
from shortst101 :
Yay for you for changing that tire! You can do anything you set your mind too. Sounds like you have some good job opportunities on the rise. I hope you find the job that will make you the happiest and the most secure financially. Hugs
from on-a-string :
Congratulations on changing your first tire! You are a hero.
from shadesofblk :
Speaking as a female mechanic, I am PROUD of you Beka! Good luck with your interviews.
from starhearts :
Nope never changed a tire either...I can use my cell to call the Canadian Auto Association though, who then rescue me. So far they have changed a tire, openned my door when I locked my keys inside (oops), and pulled me out of a ditch last winter. Oh and they have towed my car a few times when it has broken down. Now what I would do without them or my cell...well I would likely have to walk or something because I would be stranded 10 times over I am sure.....
from fightn4life :
I have yet to have to change a tire{watch now mine will go flat on my way to work.} I suppose I could do it they have a book for this Blazer some where. BTW Happy Birthday! Loved this entry, really cute. I liked the survey and your answers. Sandyz
from starhearts :
Brrr..that last entry was hot and cold....
from on-a-string :
Thank you for all the fantastic advice. I promise to not let wallowing completely consume me:)
from bandasdegoma :
I'm guessing either I have no friends or the whole concept of me moving my blog here has confused those who do know me ... then again, I have had a change in friends here in the past three months ... dumped my girlfriend, lost my job, and not all that social ... so stalk away ;-)
from starhearts :
:O thanks for the reminder..obviously I need to try it again and see if I can figure it out finally with the pics. Not to computer savvy on this end.....sigh. :)
from myownjourney :
I'm jealous of you... you know?
from starhearts :
Glad to hear that your recovered your final project!!!! That can be kind of scary to have it finished and then loose it....been there in other things and done that...not so good though and alot of stress. Glad you knew well what you were going to be talking about!! CONGRADS for the end of your course!! WOW THAT IS EXCITING (as soon as you get over being tired you will be excited I am sure :) Good luck with the job hunting and I know you will find something worthwhile and great. As for mr. dipples..um..your schooling is finishing..why didn't you say hi!!!!!!! Now you will have to go visit the school to wonder around ...ummmm :) (bratty smile). Seriously though it is great to hear that you have done so well (Proud for you this side of the ocean!) C.
from shortst101 :
Hey there, I'm so proud of you with finishing up the school thing. See you did it!! Your an amazing woman. And yes, I'm doing okay....it's just life gets to ya sometimes, as you well know. You should try to talk to Mr. Elevator next time <smiles>. Hugsssssssssss
from ms-do :

from bandasdegoma :
"It's almost like I've been waiting all my life to turn 37." ... Um, yeah. Exactly. My 37th year, which ends in five weeks, has been amazing. Enjoy yours! I enjoy reading about it.
from on-a-string :
Thank you sooo much, Becka:)
from captainron :
Sooo, it seems you finally got the new camera? When are we going to get a better picture of you? Happy Tuesday Bec :-)
from starhearts :

from ms-do :

from fightn4life :
Hey, I too teach a move Smart program for safety to all employees and office personal where I work, it is a form of ergonomics. That is part of the reason I have been working 60 plus hours a week, trying to set up numerous classes for everyone. I love to have fun with this program getting interaction from others and demonstrations, it's tiring but fun having these classes. I do understand many countries grieved along side of the US during the day America was under attack as well as we also stand in horror when our brothers and sisters from far away places are tainted by terrorist acts of any kind. Why can't we all just get along?seems such a mundane statement with so much power, but prayer and hope that lives within the hearts of so many. Sandyz
from starhearts :
Sorry to hear that you have to move as I know that is stressful and hang in there as I am sure the boys will be a huge help. As for being in want for cuddles...I hear you there....me too! Sometimes it would just be nice to worry less and relax more........
from shadesofblk :
I so get what you are saying...
from h2ophobic :
When did you crawl into my head and steal my thoughts? I wish you lived closer...we'd have an old fashioned sleepover with hot chocolate and PJ's. Then we'd crank call Ricky.
from shadesofblk :
I love that..thanks for sharing it. Maybe sometime I can read what you have written. I enjoy peotry and music.
from candoor :
I adore that poem... yay for sharing it :)
from shortst101 :
What a wonderful poem you shared today. Thank you.
from starhearts :
Forgot to comment on the gorgeous guy you saw...UMMMMM sure you could convince him not to go overseas :) Sounds like one real charmer!!! How is it we girls love that kind of stuff :)
from starhearts :
Hey Becka. I have tried to leave you a few notes but it seems to not work unless I respond to yours (like I am now). Thanks for the thoughts and ya I know life is not quite what I would hope for...but sometimes that is life too. In any case I hope that things eventually turn around but I am not holding my breath either. It is a long life so I am sure that in time things will end up as they are to be...hatever that is. Just at the moment getting through the day to day as life is WAY TO BUSY! Work has been long but good to be back at it. Hope to chat with you sometime :) Hugs!
from mugwhump :
Forget those American boys ... I can hook you up with some real nice Canadian guys. Besides everyone knows that Canadians are way more friendly ;-) (Oh I can already see the hate mail comin')
from shadesofblk :
Your son's questions brought tears to my eyes as my son has asked almost the same thing. It was his fear when I flew south for a week. Thanks for understanding cuz sometimes I feel so alone in my thoughts, trials and tribulations. It is good to have sister's around the globe.
from shortst101 :
HE HE.....what it good is that you are getting those tingly feelings and hmm never know what might happen the next time! GRINS Hang in there with those exams, you are going to do great!
from timdangerous :
Although I will miss him, it is the animal kingdom that will miss him the most. His contribution to our species pales to that of saving even one animal. Thanks for the note, I appreciate it. I intend on writing more about it (The loss of Steve) when I am able. I'm sure you understand.
from angeleyescia :
Ah jeez Becka, this is crazy. I have been told I resemble Kate Winslet. It was from a girl I met one evening who was over here on a visit from...Australia! This is more than a coincidence isn't it?! It was YOU Becka wasn't it? On a secret sneaky trip to Ireland! He he he hehe he! P.s. I love your honesty in your entries. It gives me hope that there are some genuinely good people in this world. And you are definitely one of them!
from shortst101 :
Glad you have this open, cause the guestbook won't let me leave you anything...arghhh. I was so saddened to hear about Steve Irwin. My kids and I have loved watching him and his adventures. Also, regarding the movie Flight 93, I'm not so sure I can even bring myself to watch it. Hugsssssssss, hope you are doing okay
from ms-do :
Becka I'm 8 years older than you and I have been on your journey, somehow your like where i have been, if you get that? Let me tell you now that man will appear out of the blue and it will be wonderful just enjoy your journey and DO NOT settle for second best just concentrate on being you and nurturing yourself like you do your children. I'm a living testament to 8 years on my own and not settling.....he has arrived and it couldn't be finer!! Your turn is coming just believe....smile love Do!
from ms-do :
Thank you very much i will start reading right now.....smile
from shadesofblk :
SMG does suck as I lost a long one also. Thank you for the notes and my son is doing better. I made a point to watch Steve Irwin's programs and have wanted to visit his zoo. My prayers to his family and I hope all is well with you.
from myownjourney :
Damn, that sucks about Irwin. I learned how to speak my awesome australian accent from him. But what a way to go.
from renovatingme :
I don't mind *at all*. One can never have enough support when doing something as hard as renovating who they are, and how they examine their lives:)
from livingwreck :
No worries, I had read about the move but hadn't added you yet. Please leave your notes on; as you know smg is a bit fucked at the moment.
from dandydandy :
I think -you- are the inspiration!
from renovatingme :
Thanks for the lovely note:) Yes, I am realizing I have to be fixed inside before I can be fixed outside.
from hissandtell :
Hello again, beautiful! Thanks so much for the notes and the link to your new place - I actually wrote to you at your old diary a couple of days ago begging for the new address, and the email bounced - so I'm completely thrilled to be able to follow your newest adventures. Keep blossoming and blooming, you sunshiny thing! Lots of love, R xxx
from h2ophobic :
Good luck on your new journey! Take it from me...a woman ROCKS in her 40's. Things that are SO important before, simply fade away and living LIFE becomes a priority.
from mugwhump :
Thanks for your note. Much appreciated. :-)
