Greetings.
from xnamehere :
it's a 3d animation program that's both infuriating and amazing! hehe.
from xnamehere :
could so go for that movie right now. ^^
from xnamehere :
mmm red beans and rice is soo good. aww now you got me jonesin' ha! i couldn't believe the compliance story, having worked in many restaurants, i find it mind-blowing that people could be that stupid. i'd have told them to get their asses down here and show me a badge. *sigh* people man. that ballerina documentary looks good. i'll hafta check it. love ballet.
from xnamehere :
*high five* :D dahling i wouldn't have you any other way!
from kenny-loo :
it's the story for a lot of us usually. There's such a truth to it. Sometimes that fact makes me worried that i'll end up alone, because i'm waiting for the time when we will both like each other in the same way at the same time and the right timing. Timing is everything i've been told.
from xnamehere :
you can find me under pentupfodder. feel free to add me and keep in touch. :)
from kenny-loo :
I saw "My Summer of Love" awhile ago and liked it very much. Had no idea those girls would cross that line though...but interesting movie nevertheless.
from xnamehere :
thanks darlin! :) hehe, there was a time long long ago when i deemed weed as a "drug", but now i see it as medicine. god my friends are right, i'm such a junkie. ;)
from xnamehere :
wow that actually sounds really cool, but i know what you mean. i actually have a lot of nightmares myself, ever since i was very little. it's kind of what brought on this interest in lucid dreaming. i'm tired of not being in control, i want to make the rules! oh and dude, i am so getting those bubble socks for my friend. she LOVES the power puff girls. thank you for posting them!
from xnamehere :
oooh that cosmic mix cover is shweet!!
from kenny-loo :
The phone i had which i paid for internet (which got stolen) was an Android. Samsung Exhibit II 4 G. I pay 10 bucks a month. On the plus, mine had wifi so i got to use it at home or anywhere with wifi and i don't use any of my internet data, which was cool. i still pay for it because i'm under contract. I want to get the same phone, i just wanna wait until it goes down in price. i had gotten it for free because we were eligible for an upgrade and now it sucks that i'd have to pay full price for another.
from kenny-loo :
i had to chuckle when you called yourself 'weird-ass' and in some form of way, i know what you mean. It's hard to "get someone" when the majority of people our age are kind of lame and so set to this dumb ass decade. Me, well i am in love with older things, vintage, 70's, 80's. I DO have good friends although most of mine i have nothing in common with. I have one best friend whom i have known since i was 11 but i must say that most of the best friends you have you will meet in your 20's. It's hard to identify when you admire the little things others don't give a crap about. It's okay that you don't hang out. I don't see my friends that much. Every now and then yes but that's what it gets to. Life gets in the way. Sometimes i feel like the odd ball but it doesn't stop me. I like what i like friends or no friends. It does stink that i want to go to a Chicago concert or Journey and i have no one to go with because holy man, they might get bored to death but i want you to know i find myself so identified with you. Just when you think you're alone... BAM! Keep it retro. Older is better. Much Better :)
from xnamehere :
haha enid is awesome. it's hard for sure.. if you're meant to jive with someone it will happen, but nothing guarantees that you will jive with that person forever. everything is always changing. i loved that last entry. you're definitely not alone in your nostalgia and i think it's really great to be so influenced by the things you loved when you were younger. it's hard though when that inspiration runs out and things feel stagnant. i see it this way, as an artist the things that inspire you will reflect in your art. and you have a great source of inspiration to fill you - decades worth! to sort of lead you when you're struggling with technique or learning new skills. no matter what's currently trending, you're always going to have this well of inspiration to draw from that makes you very interesting and unique, especially if you make it your own, you'll be keeping it alive, perhaps to transcend time and become something even more wonderful. who knows ya know. whenever people come over to my apartment they swear they stepped back into the 70s. ha i have no shame. :)) keep loving what you love. i don't think it will let you down.
from xnamehere :
no problem. :) the photo shoot sounds like so much fun, i know you'll be stunning. <33
from xnamehere :
awww babe i love your journal. your style makes me happeh! but yes, i share your sentiment about sucking cyber dick hehe. really, what is going on??? just write for yourself, fuck the audience. you don't need a huge following to feel validated, you're very much appreciated as you are. ♥
from sunflowerowl :
hiya! :) yes, you must try that mascara. it is perfect! oh and whenever i need a really awesome survey, i go to you! heh, you always have cool ones to snag. take care! xo noey
from dinahsoar :
Rumi rocks!
from dinahsoar :
Thank you! I do, too! I even have well-worn ballet slippers (I got at a fles market - they fit perfectly) hanging on the wall of my office.
from dinahsoar :
I just like you SO much!
from dinahsoar :
Thanks! I love your exuberance!
from dinahsoar :
Today's entry just took me somewhere wonderful! Thank you for that holiday in the middle of my workday! You are so charming!
from dinahsoar :
You are so fun!
from dinahsoar :
I'm glad it resonated! You really should ride in a turquoise van! It's magic!
from dinahsoar :
Love your pressies! Happy Birthday, magical girl!
from dinahsoar :
Zappa! Yeah!
from dinahsoar :
Cool skirts!
from sunflowerowl :
I didn't know there was a film based on the book! I really enjoyed it, it was a great book. I'll have to check out the film next time I go to the library.
from sunflowerowl :
blythe dolls! i didn't know wal-mart sold them. they are so cute! i also didn't know revlon had scented nail polish. looks like i'll be going shopping soon. :)
from sunflowerowl :
Your art is awesome! I really like your style. Also love the Hello Kitty car!
from sunflowerowl :
Hi! I really want to see that movie. I heard they're also making Howl (Allen Ginsberg) into a movie. I think James Franco is going to be in it. I just came back from Disneyland right now. I am exshasted! It's good to hear from you! Talk to you soon! (yay black nail polish!)
from sunflowerowl :
Oh, I love Jack Kerouac. ♥ How have you been doing? Glad to see you still update. :3
from kenny-loo :
your dad's birthday is the same day as my dad's birthday :) how cool.
from dinahsoar :
Your Dad sounds just amazing. It's no wonder you are you!
from kenny-loo :
That doll is beautiful. I like thrift stores. they have so much awsome stuff. My aunt goes all the time and she finds some neat things. The things that excite me are all the old fashioned toys and movies and even better- the records. i want to go back there and get some. The price is so cheap for them. I can't believe you can get so much stuff for so little! in a way, im glad the stuff is so easy to afford so also sad that they reduce some people's memories to a mere buck or two. Anyway, all the stuff you got was great :)
from dinahsoar :
Just read today's entry. Wow! So much to respond to. First, I so hope Jackie returns unharmed. I loved hearing about your experience at the swimming pool! I love anything that brings us back to happy childhood memories. I went to a swimming pool every day in the summer for years & never was brave enough to dive. I devised a way to swim that kept my hair dry! That was the focus! And I love the circus theme of the upcoming performance. I love Cirque de Soleil! Have you seen it?
from dinahsoar :
Thank you. I'm so glad it had that effect on you.
from dinahsoar :
Really enjoyed the colorful buttons (especially "Thrift Store Whore"!
from dinahsoar :
Yet ANOTHER thing we have in common ... I go to a used record/CD store where they have a huge collection of "everything Justin"! What a little twerp! I took a picture hugging a big cardboard stand-up Justin. They have a blanket with his face so huge. My husband said we should arrange it so his huge eye was staring out of our window! We could cancel our security system! Have you seen the poster where he is wearing a black leather jacket and has a wannabe tough look on his face and his little munchkin arms are flexed at his side? I posted it on Facebook with the caption "How would you like to meet HIM in a dark alley?"
from kenny-loo :
Your password has been officially set! make sure that when you log in with your user name (retro-cat) that you spell it (retrocat) together. apparently it won't log you in if you use the dash in the middle. :) Happy Reading! -kenny-loo
from julymalaise :
Omg! You look like Marylin Monroe in your rollers! So cool!
from kenny-loo :
hello! yes, id be glad to give you a password. my diary used to be public (which is just the way i like it) BUT because of a stupid individual, i have been forced to go private. e-mail me at [email protected] and let me know what password you would like to use for yourself and i'll be glad to add it for you! Thanks! -Kenet :)
from dinahsoar :
You really DO look like a very young Marilyn! Enjoy your party in your Dad's honor! Happy New Year!
from dinahsoar :
Thank you so much.
from dinahsoar :
Did I mention how lovely you are (you run circles around Marilyn Monroe)! Your brave and poignant description of Christmas without your precious Dad brought tears, as this was my first Christmas without my precious Mom (who died in August). My Dad died in 2003. And you list of gifts brough a smile. I love your gifts! They say so much about you! Enjoy your 50's New Years! May the coming year bring continued healing and joy around your memories of your Dad. Thank you for being my "buddy"!
from dinahsoar :
I love your entry! I'm all about stopping time! You just sound so wonderful! Great fashion design, too!
from dinahsoar :
So you were the original case of "identity theft", huh? Masquarading as "Miss Thrift", huh? And here I was born with that name! That's okay. Fuschia is not my color. I'm a periwinkle blue girl! Thanks for your lovely note! I get such vicarious kicks hearing about all the treasures you find! It helps keep me off of ebay (not nearly as much fun as "thrifting", but will do in a pinch while I'm at work)!
from dinahsoar :
I so enjoy vicariously hearing about all your thrifting and shopping (believe it or not, my maiden name is Thrift)! Hearing about each item was just delicious. It helps supplement my own treasure hunting every Sunday! Finding Kerouac in the children's section was hilarious! And you are so funny! Who else but you and me could find something we have to have in a tire store (other than tires, that is)! Also, you wheat hearts sound great! Your vinyl collection is amazing, too! So many of my favorites! You have just got to be the funnest person! Even your Debbie Harry picture on your page is so delightfully quirky! I love her! I just got a carved wooden rocker for $20 at the flea market! I'll always find the heaviest, bulkiest item right in the beginning & watch my husband carry it around all day!
from dinahsoar :
You are SO fun!
from dinahsoar :
Actually, I avoid that place for all the memories I shared. It's kind of a "shrine" for me to a lost love.
from xnamehere :
aww man, i've had this insane urge to go looking for new clothes too.. it's been a while... and you're not helping! ... and the subway, ah such fond memories of the city.
from dinahsoar :
Your entries are just so damn fun to read! I feel like I'm with you in those funky shops! I go "thrifting" every Sunday! I know that thrill of treasure hunting! My find so far this year was my leather "Almost Famous" style coat with the fur around the collar and down the front! I also got great combat boots & lots of 90's floral mini dresses! It is SO fun!
from dinahsoar :
Well, you were my inspiration for the baton-twirling vignette! You brought that memory back with your own memories. Thank you so much for your feedback. I would LOVE to string these all together someday and maybe find a book in there! Thanks for your encouragement!
from dinahsoar :
LOVE today's entry! You reminded me of twirling batons (watch out! I'll probably post a whole entry about it!). I, too, was Raggedy Ann for Halloween! I there was a time before I was afraid of flying! My Mom said I was singing while everyone was barfing from turbulence! I also loved playing Barbies with my best friend, Toni. We often say that those Barbies kept us out of actual trouble by vicariously acting out everything we wanted to be doing!
from dinahsoar :
Thank you so much for your note (and offer to be a geek if I need one ... which I definitely DO)! I'm glad my writing touches your senses so. That Style hairspray DOES tend to linger!
from dinahsoar :
Thanks! I'll check it out! I'm VERY low-tech, so I don't know how easy it is to navigate, but I'll try. Thanks again!
from dinahsoar :
Thank you for your note. The Noah's Ark sheets really are whimsically amazing! If I ever upgrade to where I can post pictures, I'll show ya!
from dinahsoar :
Just fell into your very interesting diary. You tell a story so well, I felt like I was there. I lost my mother just 2 months ago & was moved by your reference to hospice and waiting for the ambulance. I, too, like collecting vintage stuff. Just bought the same kind of record player I had back in the day - a GE Wildcat! I also found the exact sheets I had (wild Noah's Ark pattern) on ebay! Gradually, I'm recreating my first apartment in the back room of my house.
from gomerx :
No, no UFO conspiracy theories for me, but I do adore Alien movies...
from xnamehere :
yeah... my friend made me watch the beatles & cirque de soleil documentary. verry good stuff. that show looks pretty amazing too.
from gomerx :
It's Justin Beiber's song U smile slowed down 800 times!
from gomerx :
I think it's bizarre how you and I were both thinking about hoppin' into the time machine...LOL
from gomerx :
Friends!
from gomerx :
nevermind...just found out.
from gomerx :
Hi retro-cat...I was left that skeet skeet message too and you said you know what it means? What does it mean?
from owlheart :
thank you so much ♥
from owlheart :
it's okay, it's like that saying, "you gotta kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince!" :D so very true!
from owlheart :

i'm so sorry you're feeling the same way too. last night i talked to jim and i told him how i've been feeling and we talked it all out and it made me feel so much better. it's really not good to keep things inside. you should talk to someone. if you want, i am always here if you need to talk. ♥
from russface :
Hi, send me an email to spamdump59(at)gmail your former addy does not seem valid anymore.

from russface :
So not much traffic here lately?
from russface :
I know! The band is going great! It's so awesome to be home too. I have two profiles on Facebook, one is a public profile for Dick Satan (the 'a' has little horns above it). And there are photos from a gig we recently did. We backed up a band from Huntsville, AL called Daikaiju. Check out their myspace page. Funny and great bio. dicksatantrio.com gets you to our page which is still quite lacking in it's eventual scope. Thank you very much for staying in touch! I really should blog, eh?
from sunflowerowl :
Hi! Oh, my sister-in-law and I really want that Alice makeup set too. I like the mushrooms around the mirror. It looks so cool!
from russface :
Happy New Year! You are welcome to explore MKE with the family. Let us know if you get down here. You have my email.
from annanotbob :
I am now totally confused about where in the world you are...
from photofawn :
hi! oh yeah, i got those sock monkey slippers from target a few years ago.
from russface :
I know. I have a lot to talk about too. Miss you as well. Happy Holidaze. We've moved home! Great to be back.
from photofawn :
i know. i'm so sad about brittany murphy too. i'm still shocked. she was so young. :(
from annanotbob :
Great music! I love Mika - well, that album xx
from annanotbob :
Yay!! xx
from annanotbob :
Bloody hell. I'm glad to hear you and your dad and your mom are OK after that NIGHTMARE. Wishing you some better times - I only clicked on you because your user name is so cool and I got drawn RIGHT into your post - glad it ended up OK x
from sunflowerowl :
i'm glad to hear your dad is okay. i'm so sorry you had to go through that. (((big hugs)))
from sunflowerowl :
surprised cat! oh, how i love that video. so adorable.
from sunflowerowl :
thank you! is your dad ok? i talked to my mom today so i feel a little better. still slightly worried, but not as much because she's been telling me that she feels fine. thanks again for being so sweet! :)
from sunflowerowl :
That Indie Rock coloring book looks awesome!
from sunflowerowl :
Yes! It's a strawberry change purse that I keep my make-up in. Like lipstick, powder compact, brush and a small mirror. My mom got it for me a few years ago. The Bats are so good. Listen to "Up to the Sky" it's my favorite! I'm still working on my comic. That character is the only one I have so far besides her best friend (which is an Owl named Olivia)... David Bowie = LOVE Canada = COOL and as for those shows on TLC... they = unintentionally (maybe) hilarious! :D
from sunflowerowl :
i just read your entry. it made me laugh! that's so funny. i would probably get caught flipping someone the bird too! :D oh yeah, i'm going to do that survey later. awesome t-shirt btw! goodnight my groovy friend!
from sunflowerowl :
hi! :) hope you had a great thanksgiving!
from sunflowerowl :
Thanks. I altered it at Photobucket. Upload a picture there then go to edit. Once you're there go to effects and select pop art... ha! I almost typed pop TART on accident. :D
from sunflowerowl :
ooh, i love revlon's valentine! <3
from sunflowerowl :
hello :)
from loopykitten :
Kudos on not matching! I sometimes have to wear different socks if I have to look professional on the surface, just to keep myself happy.
from centaurlord :
Yes, David Bowie is super great. I don't know anyone that likes him besides me. My wife says I'm like an old person for likeing him and the Cure and Depeche Mode...
from russface :
I'll add new vids soon. I'm out of the habit!
from russface :
Yes! Saw them in a tiny club that isn't around anymore called the Unicorn in MKE. Likin' the Kinderwhore look. (Saw The Mono Men at the same place)
from russface :
Great! I'll try and change them daily again. You may have noticed that I'm having a bloggers block. Lot of stuff going on but not able to put it down like I'm used to. Yes. I've had Hobnobs in England and they sell them here too. Lot's of British expats here in Dubai.
from russface :
That's great! Now I have a reason to get back in the habit, AND of putting up again, all the ones you missed!
from sunflowerowl :
My Monday class is full of loud, disruptive people. Just my luck. It totally sucks. BTW, I really like your John Lennon quote in your profile. Regina Spektor does a cover of "Real Love" that is just beautiful. Have you heard it? I'm listening to it right now. Lovely. Well, I hope you're having a nice day or night. Talk to you later. :)
from russface :
Nine (I think)
from sunflowerowl :
Your note reminded me of the first time I met Jim. We were sitting outside on the grass and I was so nervous that I did not make eye contact with him and the entire time I was talking to him I was picking blades of grass and tossing them over my shoes. :D
from russface :
I really enjoyed your latest entry about your camping trip. Loved the creepy bald guy because he sounded like he looked like me (but I don't hang by the ladies showers ... much). I'd have fixed the shower head if asked. Mosquito's love me too. My dad used to say 'they die when they bite me' which I always liked to hear. My cousin said they don't bother them because they 'get drunk when they bite him.' I have to look at the entry again because I forgot what else there was to comment upon. So much hilarity. Back in Dubai now after an awesome visit back home. Only ten more months here if all goes according to plan. Don't be afraid of bugs too much!
from sunflowerowl :
I hope you don't mind that I added you. I like your diary! :)
from xxholding-on :
i saw that you were 'online' in the users online section. and thank you so much!
from xxholding-on :
hi i saw you were online and i really wanted the vote from diaryland towards a contest i joined. It's a coach marketing contest and i need as many votes as i can get, please help! http://www.brickfish.com/Pages/PhotosAlbums/PhotoView.aspx?picid=975395_34070543&pid=2767347&scid=452
from russface :
Now I'm in the mood to hit a drive in. Public Enemy (Enemies?) had some parts filmed in Milwaukee.
from goodluckgold :
Wow, sounds like you had a good day. I have to clean up my room also, it's a horrible mess. I soooo envy your groovy telephone, so sophicated! Fudge Factory is the greatest, I will always see that place when I go down to the shore. Lovely atmosphere as I should say. We haven't been experiencing any hot weather lately, it's still cool in Philly, which is good. Those flower are absolutely beautiful, love them!
from goodluckgold :
Hahhaha, you're welcome. Well, it wasn't a cartoon actually, it's an computer game back in like in the late nineties-early twenties, yes I heard about Punky Brewster, awesome chick
from russface :
Big smile. Just joshin' ya.
from russface :
Naughty. How did you screw up the timing? You owe that poor guy a lunch with beers, even if he DOES like Led Zeppelin.
from goodluckgold :
Wow, you must of been very scared. I was scared too, and I was tired, I was trying to sleep, but yet you hear all of these noises outside. Wow, I never knew that about Canada and the U.K., thanks for telling me that.
from russface :
Yeah. England is kind of the same way. I don't know why that is. With all the parkland available, you'd think it would be a no brainer to whack in a couple of courts per park and be done with it. They make playgrounds, why not courts. They require so little upkeep. It's those 'little' differences as Vince Vega said.
from russface :
I like bong dreams.
from russface :
Moscow Mules are a vodka highball. In a tall glass with ice add: Shot of vodka (Stoli?) dash of angostura bitters 1/2 shot of lemon juice top with ginger beer or ginger ale In Milwaukee, it's free to play tennis in many of the parks. In England, one usually has to pay(!). Weird. How does it work in Canada? I have been playing lately because it's the only game I don't hate that much.
from goodluckgold :
Hey its me... again. Hahhahahha, you had those frosties from Wendy's? Is that the same frosties that those funny people are singing. They're all like "Babyyyyy, you wanna get frosty with me?" I always crack up when I see that freaking commercial!!! I love it!
from goodluckgold :
Thanks for welcoming back, you little groover. Yeah, it does fit your personality that picture. Yeh, why did Romeo and Juliet had to die?!? I wanted Willy to make them alive so they could run away to Mantua like the Friar had planned it to happen. Really? I knew there was a Verona! Wow, it's a goth city, totally awesome! Yeah, maybe Edward Cullen lurks around there, sike no! Ciao, Sammy
from goodluckgold :
Hey girl, Archie Andrews is my favorite red-head too!
from goodluckgold :
Hey sorry this is late, but um... yeah Leonard Whiting is so cute, if I lived in the 1960's, I will totally date, but unfortunately he's old now. (If only he was immortal.) So how have you been? Hopefully, good. I like your new layout, missy.
from russface :
Yeah. The impact (pun intended) didn't wig me until later. I'm not real crazy about oceans either. In fact, I received a jelly sting (very minor) that day. The beauty, and despair (over denuded coral) outweighs any fear.
from russface :
I thought your dream was wack! Fun to read about.
from goodluckgold :
Happy Earth day, well yesterday was Earth Day, but still... everyday can be Earth Day!!! If more people like you and me recycle!!! Sounds like you got your recycling groove on at work! good job retro-cat!!! Yeah, tennis is sooo fun, but it is very sore to play. Omigosh, I am good at serving, but I am not good at hitting the ball when the person hits it back to you, lol. Terrance is so retarted, I like Martin now. Lol, the annoy-boy, cute!!! That's what I am going to call him if I ever talk to anyone about him (Which I highly doubt, but hey you never know.) Laytah, Sistah. Sammy
from goodluckgold :
How groovy does a vegan picnic is? Totally awesome girl!!! Yeah, I don't get it either why they call it Badminton. It's fun, but I have forgotten how to play it. Hahhha, I wanna see Summer-Cleaning movie, wsa it good?
from russface :
smiling... You must have a whole room sized closet for all the 'stuff' you buy.
from goodluckgold :
Hey Jules.. yeah Martin's pretty groovy, he is so nice. Yeah, mom are like that. Yeah, I would wear jammies to the White house too, only if they have Obama's face on it. I love Obama. You totally have to read the book, it is very awesome. Really? This Adam guys looks like Robert Pattison? Ohh, yummy! Vampires are totally hot!!! Yeah, it's a great classice, R&J. Yeah, I watch some of it of that version. Leo is cute as always, it was a very weird set-up of a movie. Mercuito is too funny!
from goodluckgold :
I miss you too,retro gal!!!
from russface :
Happy Birfday! Had vicarious fun reading your post about mini golf.
from russface :
"Journey To The Stars" and would you puhleeeze download Firefox so you can watch the vids????? It's free.
from loopykitten :
I used oils, but very "watered" down oils so that gave me that drippy effect, and then the geisha herself is paper cut. I can't wait to go to the planetarium :)
from russface :
Whoa! What a head spinning journey your latess entry is. Sounds like a lot of hard work has paid off.
from russface :
It's gmail.com I abbreviated it thinking that 'bots might snag it. So use the spamdump59(at)gmail.com
from russface :
From Abu Dhabi: Add 300km for the round trip. Page 103, fifth sentence, 3rd edition UAE Off Road. The 1st through fourth sentences were way better but there were only five on the whole page.
from russface :
Russ is short for Russell. It irks me when people spell it with one 'L' and puzzles me to no end if they only use one 'S'! Email me at that spamdump address shown a few messages below if you wish. I'm fun but harmless.
from goodluckgold :
Hey retro-cat, I just read your journal! Happy Friday the 13th, lol just kidding. Happy Valentine's Day and hey! We're supposed to have rain too and we were having lots of cold and windy days. Brrr!!! Anyways, Omigod! Kids are so funny, can't blame them! Gosh! That must of been funny with the cupcake on the shoe, it'll be more funnier if the mom stuck her foot in it and mushed the cupcake in her feet.
from goodluckgold :
Hey retro-cat, Well, I guess Andrew the current state of the Union right now, I can't even look at Terrance, he is making be sick of him. Anyways, I tried to negoiate with my teacher that I didn't know that she was coping off my test, but she ignored me. She seemed to be having a bad day, but she didn't have to be a bitch about it, you know? Science is cool, I guess. We don't dissect things till next year and I might skip the dissecting part, maybe I'll stay home too!!! Sam
from russface :
From Milwaukee. Live Dubai. You're Jules? So is my sweetie.
from goodluckgold :
Hey retro-cat, it's me again!!! Omigawd, I think they like Scarlett because of her jugs, because this weirdos at school are like going thru a star magazine and they were like "Halle Berry has a sexy body" and like "Scarlet Johanessen, look at those boobs, wow!" Tehy're such perverts, guys. I love Coldplay, they're awesome!!! Did that girl seriously thought Green Day was a holiday?!?! You got to be kidding me! Lol, she sounds like an airhead.
from goodluckgold :
Hey hey, hey Jules, I looooooooooooove Shai Lebeouf, and isn't it wierd? I think boys with glasses is so cute, it's like a turn-on, it's just crazy.
from russface :
Wow. You have a septic tank? Or is it a septic field? Do you live in a city?
from goodluckgold :
I agree with you 100% percent guys, thay are such wankers, like you said they are! Brady is a wierdo, Andy has to pretend to nice.... at least, if he know how to do that (Doubt that he does.) And Terrannce, WHERE IS TERRANCE?!?! Lol, I love those telephone booths too, the old-fashioned and would totally use it if I see on in Philly. They are better than those filthy telephone thingies nowadays.
from goodluckgold :
Hey retro-cat, Soldie Boy sounds like a physcopath (Not the singer, that wierd guy you work with. Yeah, well Stalker dude isn't bothering me, I told to **** off, and he did.
from russface :
I meant my aunt had a lot of cool stuff. But I'm sure there are loads of vintage shops as well. spamdump59(at)g mail is one of my addy's.
from russface :
Too bad you didn't live near SF. There was a LOT of cool stuff you'd have had fun browsing through. I'm REALLY worried about the Soldier Boy.
from russface :
If you lived in The States, I'd be VERY worried about soldier boy. But as you live in Canada, I'd just be a 'little' worried.
from goodluckgold :
Hey, retro-cat That new guy at work, is it possible he has post-pre war symtom or whatever the hell that is called? Lol. And is he old? And he wears his army uniform to work? I wouldn't surprised if he ducked and cover when there's a paper jam on the printer, hahhaha. I hate those chain messaging, they just annoy me, it's just annoy reading the same shit over and over and it's like "If you don't send this, you'll die in a month. This is a true story, when Mitchell got this message, he just marked it as spam and a month later he fell off a tree and broke his neck." I mean like gimme a break. That's a bunch of bullshit. I hate sending it to people, it's really stupid and dumb. Toodles! Sammy
from russface :
Next time take your mom shopping for bras and show her how easy it is. Fun post and, oh, hello!
from revolution3 :
OMG! I read "-25 windchill" and got the shivers.. haha! I live in arizona, and it's like thee driest, sunniest place in the US.. it's 70 degrees F here and THAT's chilly for us! haha! and another thing.. ditto to "righteous kill" being just a drag. al pachino and robert deniro.. you'd THINK that'd be golden, but it was the only movie I've seen in theatres that I've ever fell asleep during >< hahah!
from goodluckgold :
I know, Kev's annoying me, seriously!
from goodluckgold :
Hey retro-cat, Yeah, they do have some Raiunforest Cafe here in the U.S., I think there's still one in New York, lol! I feel so bad for Jett! And omg, I never had a friend who had seizures all the time, I would of been scared of their life if I my friend had a seizure in front of me.
from russface :
Mott was my faves back in the day. Find "All The Way From Memphis - Live" on youtube. Great! The lip synced TOTP version of "Roll Away The Stone" is amusing but ... I can't hang with lip sync.
from revolution3 :
I LOVE THE RAINFOREST CAFE. haha! which one did you go to? there are only a few in the country, yeah? luckyyy! and congrats [?!?] on having a far out new year (: sounds like you had a gas!
from goodluckgold :
Hey Jules!! Sounds like you had a hell of a time, must of been way cool to play "Are you Smarter than A Fifth Grader?" I always wanted to play that, just to see if I WAS smarter than a fifth grader, which I highly doubt (Just Kidding!) You brought me back memories when you wrote about how you went to the Rainforest Cafe. I never knew they still existed, they closed down one when I was eight. I was so scared of that place when I was little, I always thought those mechanical monkey were real and the snakes! Oh my! Was I scared! Looking back to that makes me laugh of how terrified I was at that place, I mean it's all fake, hahaha. Well, I DID like the sound effects that made it seemed it was raining. It was so relaxing. Your New Year's sounds so similar to mine, me and my mom's friends and neighbors of her friend came over my mom's friend house and play guitar hero and they were singing to the songs. Hahahhaa, I was playing the guitar, it was awesome. OMG, you heard about John Travolta's son, that it drown in the bathtub and DIED? How horrible for him! I feel bad. Sammy

Omigod, I can't believe Paulo would do that! That little fresh creeper! And Madeliene liked it! Ew! lol that must of been funny when he was pressing the repeat button several times and of course this happens when the teacher isn't there, In English, some girl was crying and my english teacher and the student had to go outside to talk and then once she left the room, everyone started t o throw shit everywhere, I was ike What the hell? Omigod, I don't know what gotten into my friends at lunch, but they were crazy as shit as if they were high on..... sugar! Lol! hahaha, they would be nasty with that guy belching, but I'll be cracking up and I bet your cafeteria was probably dead silent when this kid do that. Sam
from goodluckgold :

And Jared is a really, really, BIG nerd, more nerdier than Zeke, who is nerdy, but a cute nerd Zeke, but an complete asswipe, hahahaha. Omg Tony is so ANNOYING!!!!!! He is so wierd like Zeke, lol! And Macbeth lol! That guy Paulo, what did he do that was so nasty? Sam
from loopykitten :
Hmmmmm I was going to go with the obvious but in lieu of your latest entry mentioning Mama Mia and Abba, let's go with A. I give you the letter A!
from russface :
You still aren't able to watch the video I put on the site because if you were, you'd be able to watch Jaan Pahechan Ho, the song that is my criteria for taking the class. Ghost World turned me onto it. I purchased the album Doob doob a rama so I could DJ with it back home. I too watch it consistently on youtube. Why can't you watch vids? Do you only have a work computer? If so. You are missing out on a lot of retro-cat style vids that I change daily. Ok, I'm going to read your latest posting.
from goodluckgold :
Hey retro-cat, Yeah, I felt bad for him, but yet it was so funny when he got dropped because he acts so tough all the time and it was good to see his weak side, kinda! Poor Matt! I wonder how it is like being thrown in a trashcan! That is ten times worse than being dropped, you're all stinky and and at your worst. That's mean everybody was making fun of him? But that was funny about the banana peel, I love banana peels!!! Oh we played Dodgeball again and we lost, we suck!I wanna see the Dark Knight and I loooooooove the Spider-man movies!!!!!! Sam
from loopykitten :
Yup it's my artwork (sorry I've been awol). Thank you so much ! I'm glad you like it, that crow piece is my very favorite. I'll be putting up new ones once in a while though. Right now I'm making medusa. :)
from russface :
Mild stimulant (catha edulis Forssk)used a lot in Yemen and other areas. It's leaves are chewed and I tried some. It tasted like leaves and I think I spelled it incorrectly. Shoule be "kat" or "quat" or some shit ...
from goodluckgold :
Hey Hey Hey, Hahaha, Billy-Joe! I can't wait for Green Day's album, it sounds like a good name!! I love Volleyball too, but I hate serving also because I really suck at it. And yeah, that Colin kid, yeah they think he likes me, but I don't know. He's nice and cool, but he's not my type, but oh well hahahaha. Omg! I can't believe Tony, you must of been cracking up so much!!! An embarrassing thing happened to Zeke also, but it's kinda cruel, but I thought it was funny, he got dropped by some dude named Jared, who is this tall kid, they were just playing around, but now Zeke is like humiliated because people in the hallway were going up to him and were like, "Hey! Aren't you the kid who got dropped?" Apparently, everyone saw him, I kinda feel bad for him. Omg, I can't believe Tony squeezed your booty, that little rascal! I heard the Dark Knight was super-awesomeness, my friend watched it four times, that is how much she loved it and I think an Austrailian accent is sexy and cute in a guy! hahahahaha! Also a Italian accent also. I loooooooooooove Twiggy and I like her green dress where she is holding the two puppies in her hand and the white dress below. She is so gorgeous! Sammy
from goodluckgold :
Hello retro-cat!!!! Sup G? hahahha! Yeah, it was really fun helping bake cookies for the soldiers, and I agree with you a hundred percent, they should come home soon! And I love dodgeball, just not the part when you get hit, hahhahah! And really? They did fight for you when you were picked for dodgeball? You must of been like stuck in the middle. And I'm so happy I've found my freaking math book! And no, I hadn't seen the Ap Alternative cover and I'm sure Billy-Joe is steaming like a fucking suana hotter than the sun! hahahaa When is Green Day releasing their new album? I want to know! I haven't heard any new songs from them lately. That book Cupake looks awesome, I going to check that out when I go to the bookstore...... OMG I LOVE STARBUCKS!!! I have a starbucks around the corner of my school, so I can go there when it's really, really, chilly after school and go there! Ooooh, I saw that big gigantic dog too!! In a commerical! I also saw the Rhino too and it is like so expensive! I think the dog is named Biscuit! My mom wanted the Rhino, she said give that to her for Christmas, I was like "Oh yeah, right." I saw that thing and it was hugmonous!!!!!!!!!! I don't think that is a good present for little kids because they might get scared of it thinking it's a real rhino and the parents would spend like 200 and something dollars on it. Hahahaha! I thought it was cute! I would want it for myself too! Sam
from goodluckgold :
It must of been fun, ballet. And same to you, have an super-suigggly-suana weeekend!!!!

from goodluckgold :
Hey retrro-cat. I loove Soccer too, but I felt I hit that girl on the face, it was by accident, I apologize anyway. Yeah, my math book is somewhere, I lost it! Sam

omg, I never had Greek food before, but I imagine it would be very good to eat. OMG! I hate the same experience with a lady bitching about her food, it was at Mcdonald's and she was very pissed, I was like to my friend Roxy "oh shit, that lady is pissed off." and she laughed
from goodluckgold :
hey retro-cat, I'm glad you made it through the mall, I actually went to the mall the other day it was fun. And you're welcome I called you super-fab, hahaha! And you are right, boys are strange, and he wants you to call him Tony the Tiger, so LOL! And he growls? You must be laughing your head off when he does that, I would be!! And I am glad I got rid of my virus and I can't believe that Austrailian dude, how disgusting. Thanks for the website link and saying you like my template!! Sam
from russface :
Thank you!
from goodluckgold :
hey retro-cat, Wassup girl? omg, I know, Black friday is terribly crazy and you are right, there is a traffic jam of soccer moms who seem to be impatient and like wanna punch the nearest person for no apparent reason. Hahahaha good luck when you go to the mall, stay armed, my friend! hahaha. Oh, I never knew you celebrate Thanksgiving in October, it makes more sense clebrating it in October than November because that's when Fall starts. And Zeke is kinda cute and he's like Tony tho,a geeky funky boy-in-baggy-pants type too. But he is seriously strange sometimes, but in a funny way you know? Well, have a fabulous day! Sam

How was your turkey day? Sam
from goodluckgold :
Hey retro-cat, yeah, it was freaky!! I was so scared. Lol! Mr. Beaudet sounds like has an addiction to Dunkin Donuts, have you consider of sending him to the donut rehab?hahaha. just kidding! Oh and I know, don't you just hate that when people throw stuff at you when they borrow it, it is seriously annoying and it makes me wanna punch the crap out of them. Rose sounds rude and selfish. Okay, first she copied off of you and THEN told everybody that you copied, hold up that is not a good friend there. I've had a lot of friends like that, it is a shame. Sammy!!!!
from goodluckgold :
OMG the oujia board is so fucking crazy, I played that crap too! One time me and my friend Shyanne were like playing it and we were seeing tiny orbs all over that day at the house we played at (we were at my aunt's house.) It sooo freaky!!! Hahahaha! that was funny with the bald dudes and the gum, hahaha, that is totally awesome and badass at the same time!!
from goodluckgold :
hello, yeah omg I used to watch Sabrina too and I don't know what happened to Melissa, but she was a great actress!!! Anyways, yeah the boys were absouletly crazy when the fight erupted, they were like "Oh shit!!" I don't know why they get so turned by that, it's really weird. Sam
from goodluckgold :
Hey retro! OMG I SOOO ENVY YOU RIGHT NOW!!! :P I loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove Josie and the Pussycats and I would really like to have one comic of it so I'll keep it forever!! But I read some of the comics online, but I want to own a copy you know? I also like Sabrina the Teenage Witch comics too! I need to go to flea markets, but I have to find some around here. Do you have the one that says "She's Josie" on it or the ones that says "Josie and the Pussycats" on the cover? Just wondering!! hahahahaha! Sam
from goodluckgold :
Hey retro! Yeah, I wanted that book and people from the UK are seriously funny!!! Anyways, I suck at math, like I try and try, but it doesn't seem to work with me, I guess it is not meant to be to understand the freaking math problems you know? And thanks for congradulating me on my grades, and lol! I looooooooove Cadbury chocolate. If it's Easter, I'll give Mr. Cadbury some of the Cadbury chocolate hahahaha! And ur friend Mikey was cool letting you skateboard in the hallways, did you ever get in trouble for doing that in your school? And that is so lol how he terrorizes the class, lol! And I know, math should be banned forever!!!! Sammy
from goodluckgold :

I heard about the Truth or dare books and the book about the snogging thing and about the girl named Georgia, yeah I wanted that book from the bookstore actually! but I couldn't find the first book of the series. Is it the series with the cat on the front cover? And I'll definetely check out the other books and that book "The secret life of the social butterflies" sounds pretty neat. Saw Queen last night. Pretty good. Too many power ballads though.
from goodluckgold :
Hello, I was looking at your diary and I love vintage stuff too, expecially the fashions of the 60s, it's very chic and I love the vintage Archie comics and Josie and the Pussycats. I'm from PA, where are you from? Comment back Sammy PS. May I add you to my list please?
from russface :
Hi. Sorry the pumpkin didn't turn out. They do require finer carving tools I guess. Try again next year. And yes, I'm familiar with Glastonbury (we lived in London for five years) but I didn't go. I DID take my nephew to an Ozzfest as he was into heavy mental at the time and I can get into it occasionally. I outlasted his ass in the pit. Dave Grohl whose Foo Fighters substituted for Korn thanked the audience for not throwing piss at them. Rather funny I thought.
from russface :
Hey. Me again. There's this site: http://www.fabulousliving.com/component/resource/article/273/21466 where you can get stencils for your pumpkins. I've done a couple of them and they're a bit of a pain but look cool. You need to prick the outlines and then carve INTO the pumpkin without completely piercing it. Not traditional but different.
from russface :
Your latest entry made my stomach growl with all the food description. Are you a chef or one in training?
from russface :
Sorry for seeming the pesky equivalent of your creepy dancing at Oktoberfest guy but if you like Hullabaloo (all lip synced) look at my vids. Leave me a note or comment and add me as your new best friend.

Yeah, I love racoons, they are so sweet. The cheetos is how I tamed my last little one, he was so adorable, we used to sit next to each other sharing a bag. Not the healthiest for them, but hey, at least he was happy. The Labyrinth game must be hilarious :)
from loopykitten :
Racoons also love cheetos, just so you know :)
from loopykitten :

from loopykitten :
Oh hun, I just read about your fish, I'm so sorry. When I was a kid I had a carp that acted the same way, she loved getting pet. Hope you feel better soon.
from konbu :
Hey, I wish America had a national family day. But yeah, meh on long distance relationships. I have mixed feelings about them. I had one that worked and one that didn't work, so that leaves me totally ambivalent.
from loopykitten :
I felt the same way when I thought about him. And then I saw the last interview he did for the Batman movie, and there was something about him that wasn't quite right. You could tell he was extremely depressed for some reason. Either that, or that he was using drugs, possibly heroin. (I know from spending too much time with street people, how every drug affect you in a different way). It was odd, because I never thought of him as one succumbing to drugs or depression. Ugh, how sad.
from loopykitten :
Thank you ! I don't know where the life saver shirt is from because it was a gift, sorry :)
from loopykitten :
Go on the date... you never know if you might not meet prince charming after all. And if he's horrible, well it's only a few hours of your evening wasted, and you get a free meal!

Have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. Talk to you in 2008
from konbu :
Amelie's haircut was the cutest!
from konbu :
Oh yeah, I love thrifting. I like knowing how clothes will fit AFTER you wash them, and you can't tell that at regular stores. Plus since I sew, I can fix most of the reasons people donated the clothes in the first place.
from konbu :
There is a "You Can't Do That On Television" website here --> http://www.ycdtotv.com/ You can watch it on youtube too!!! They had a whole Halloween episode, in 3 parts. Just as funny as it was back in the day too.
from loopykitten :
New coats are the best. Especially ones with fur :)
from konbu :
I LOVED You Can't Do That on Television. I liked the drunk dad who would always say "don't encourage your mother," and I loved how low-budget it was. My mom used to HATE it. I'd have to sneak and watch it. I might be looking for it on you tube...
from loopykitten :
No exotic bird. Just dog and cat for now. I do want to get a cockatoo at some point though. I would love to be able to make costumes. I'm trying to learn how to sew right now.
from konbu :
I would have been cyber tortured to death when I was a kid too. It would've been HORRIBLE. Thank gods we are old!!!
