URGH I just saw my typo, not 1876 it's 1976 sheesh. ANyway, that boy is really sweet for give his gifts like that. Most kids are very selfish when it comes to christmas. At my work we have tons of needy families that we work with and what we did is spend about 1000 on gift for needy families and they come in to pick out one gift for their child then get to wrap it at the center. At lot of families are having a christmas that normally wouldn't. It's really special. The only reason my son is getting a christmas is because of Master. That's what it is like when a single parent or very low income.

Robert Smith is on the cover of it. It's just a history of goth from 1876-92. It's pretty good but when I saw that they wrote about Ian Curtis, I teared up a bit.

Personally I loved the drunk entry, It made me laugh. As a yankees fan myself, I'm pretty bummed out. It doesn't help to read about 100 "YAY RED SOX!" entries. I want to start spewing profanities. Sorry about your blood pressure, I hate when problems with your health force you to get back into shape and be aware of things. I love being blissfully unaware of the harm I'm doing with all my boozing and smoking. Your entry made me aware that you're not the only one that has to watch that. Actually the lake in the "Maine" section of the pete pics was the lake in Acadia National Park. (The little lake right at the northern tip of the big lake) I can't remember either of their names. I do however hope that I can return to Maine sometime soon. Very pretty! Thanks for stopping by!

They were really awesome! We had eighth row, but it felt more like fourth row 'cause we were on the extreme right of the venue and the first four rows were narrower than ours. We had such a great time! They played for three freakin' hours!!! Plus, we're going to see them again this coming Sat. at PNC. I can't wait!! As far as my bands appearances, we're playing the Baggots (in the village) Inn on Aug 21st. and the Continental on Sept. 11th (yikes!) It would be an honor to have you come down. I WAS THERE LAST YEAR!! As i read your entry icalled my family.. and told my mom to tell my dad that WE MISSED OUT! I love waterloo village.. i love trying all those different type of beers.. i remember last year my fave was a "rye" beer.... also duff beer.... i kept the lil double shot glass sized glass from last year... i SOOOO Wanted to go, and am bummed I missed out on the festival this year.. Last year i also bought a "beer goddess" shirt.. and they put me on their site and all... they also have live bands and vendors like picalicious (pickles on a stick)... I AM SOO BUMMING RIGHT NOW but glad you had such a great time! congrats onm the anniversary..... oh and if i would have went to the festival you would have been able to pick me out.. id be the drunk girl runing around shooting beer passed out on the grass! :) lol

I totally agree with your Inner Thoughts on the torture that occurs in this world. I too was disgusted at seeing the beheading of Nick Berg, the pictures of Paul Johnson, and the recent release of the video of the South Korean beheading. I am glad that I saw them because I think, as you said, that it is important to understand what type of carnage occurs in this world and what were up against in terms of terrorism, but now I've seen enough. I don't need to see another beheading to understand the enemy. In some way, I think the terrorists are starting to make us "immune" to this type of horrendous act. I mean, it's almost becoming juts another part of life. Anyway, thanks for sharing your thoughts...glad to know I'm not alone.

thanks for the compliments on the tattoos. i really like them! ;D i agree that you shouldn't get something that someone else has... i've always worked with the artist to get to what i want. i've been lucky to always have friends who are tattoo artists and thusly... i call jon up. tell him what i want. and then he draws it up. this ensures that it's unique and that it will be well done. a little secret... when/if you ever do get a tattoo... find an artist who's work you really like then collaborate with him/her on what your idea is... if the artist is hyped on what they're tattooing it will ensure that you will get the best possible work and the best possible tattoo! off my tangent now... again, thanks for the compliment!

I mean, sure, they can drive like hell on snowy roads, but what they all fail to realize is that NO ONE stops easily in slippery conditions, and being able to drive fast on a straight section of road, does NOT mean they can haul ass on curves. And just because THEY can haul ass in the snowy weather, does not mean EVERYONE AROUND them can. Fuckers will get me killed one of these days. And yes, it also warms my heart to see one of those morons in the ditch.
