Maybe the kids will clue dad in while they're there. Prayers will be said for them.
|
| from
cosmicrayola : |

It sounds as though she may be suffering from Munchausen Syndrome. I pray for her kids. Friend or foe, I think I would have to tell the ex. For her to have this all this drama about the accident going on and then just turn it off to act as hostess to this virtual stranger sounds like someone on the edge. You may lose a friend, but you may be stepping in when you are most needed. The kids dad needs to be aware of what's happening. Good luck.
|
| from
forty-plus : |

It's up to the ex-husband to deal with this. There is only so much you can do. Maybe up the prayers?

hello. i'm just a random person looking at random diaries. i don't think you are a bad friend, you seem really nice. i do think that if not for her kids i would suggest you put a vast distance between you and this woman. but then there's the kids...
i hope everything sorts itself out. i hate attention seeking drama queens.
well that's my two cents lol.

How senseless to ruin your life for such a stupid reason. The only good thing about it is that since she is a minor, she will be able to get it sealed if she never repeats. How very sad.

I cannot believe you did what you did! I wouldn't have dared to do that. You have saved this poor woman perhaps months of guessing and trying to prove anything. God bless you and your hubby! You may end up having to testify at the divorce hearing. I would love to have been a fly on the wall/inside of the car as they drove away. Rpice of changing the lock: $10.00 Price of a few toll calls made by the wife minutes later: $10.00. The look on the husbands face as the wife was running off a list of things in the Condo? Priceless!

I'm a little disturbed by what your neighbors tell you. I can't even imagine dropping in on the office ladies and telling them things like that (we live above the office).
Oh yes I AM a hoarder. You should see our closets. We tried to keep the couch by putting it in the nursery, but couldn't get it around the corner through the door. *sad* It was fun ripping it apart though!

My dad had too much skin on his upper lid and it was affecting his sight. The eye doctor suggested this surgery and the insurance company approved it, so he went ahead and had it done. Trust me on this one. My daughter tested out at 160 when she was 8 years old. Later on when she was in Jr. high, she made friends with girls and boys that were, shall we say, not in her range. She wanted to fit in, so she downplayed her smarts. I could kick myself for not putting her ahead when I had the chance. If Cassie belongs in a grade ahead, do it now before she forms her long-lasting friendships.
