Congratulations from me too! What wonderful holiday news!
from frogeye :
That's wonderful news!
from fragilegirl8 :
congrats!
from h2ophobic :
Congratulations! That is wonderful news. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
from swimmmer72 :
Congratulations!! I'm glad to hear things are good! :)
from minstrelite :
Congratulations - and where are you these days? Are you and your husband on the East Coast? Email me through D-Land for my user/pass if you want to catch up. God bless you, Bethany.
from fightn4life :
I am so sorry you had to turn off you notes for awhile. People can be judgmental and hurtful. This is just what you said…a place for you to voice and you should not be brought down by someone that reads your private self. If people don’t like what they read they should use the delete key and move on. I hope so much your prayers are answered. You know, 20 isn’t old at all. Some of my dearest friends didn’t have children until their mid 30…that is when they felt ready to start a family. You are young try not to lose these years through worry. You can’t get them back. Sandyz
from fightn4life :
You are not so different than the rest of us…we all seem to attack those dearest to our heart when our world is shaken no matter the reason. Forgiveness will follow…it almost always does. My thoughts are with you, Sandyz
from h2ophobic :
It's so easy to take our frustrations out on those we love. They're the ones who are there. We know they'll love us anyway. But take it from an old married woman (20 years next January) it is a dangerous habit to start. We try to be nicer to each other. When we rant, we try to begin it with "I'm not mad at you, I'm just mad and need to complain now." It doesn't always work. Feelings do get hurt. Learning to give a heart-felt apology to your spouse is one thing that you must do. Hugs have an increcible healing power. Here's one for you! {{HUG}}
from outer-jessie :
Paracongratulations until you hear for sure...then I'll send you the real ones!
from h2ophobic :
My fingers are crossed! Good luck!
from h2ophobic :
I agree with you. I loved his music as a child and young adult. Later I was appalled and saddened by him.
from outer-jessie :
I hear ya. I trust Michael Jackson nearer than I can throw him, but he produced some freakin miraculous music. Maybe now we can start caring about it again.
from fragilegirl8 :
thanks so much. I could use all the prayers I can get.
from fragilegirl8 :
thanks
from outer-jessie :
Ha ha! Just saw your note! Now I feel silly. To redeem myself (or at least redirect attention away from my tardliness), look, it's raining in Tucson! Joy of joys!
from outer-jessie :
*boink* I have added you. Welcome to my world!
from fragilegirl8 :
How did you know your husband was 'the one'?
from h2ophobic :
I loved reading the 25 things about you. I too, do not like being in situations where I might have to talk to someone I don't know well. That's the main reason I hate going to the grocery store. I live in a small town, so I know many of the other shoppers. I don't want to chat; I just want to get my shopping done and get out of there.

This diary is for me. I happened to include my son to make a point of my BBQ grilling. It's my view on my world and how I see it and that's simply what I want it to be. I know it can sound evasive at times, maybe shallow, but that's where I am. I have nothing to hide and am actually an open book to those who know me. Sometimes, too open I think. Yet, I do enjoy my privacy and thank you for your comments. Again, fight the bastard that has attacked you. You can do it, others have. Inner self is a mighty machine, along with God's help.
from frogeye :
Sorry, but I'm trying to go thru life anonymously!
from frogeye :
Fight the disease, don't let it win. You can do it!
from h2ophobic :
I've been meaning to write ever since your note about your wedding dress, but keep forgetting. I'm so sorry to read that you're sick (with MS?) You're in my prayers.
from frogeye :
Ouch, a Red Sox fan! I'd be tarred and feathered if others found I was talking with a Red Soxer. I, on the other hand, have no dislike for non-Yankees, I just question their mental well being. So, you killed us last night. Hey, we still have tonight and Thursday to get ahead and then blow a subway series with the Mets, I am sure. Gotta remember to make hot dogs with kraut and wash them down with overpriced beer, just like the ballpark. Play ball!
from frogeye :
Like religion and politics, sports should never be spoken at the dinner table. Gotta go with the hometown team babe!
from misspinkkate :
I'll say one thing for running- you sure do feel good afterwards.
from frogeye :
Like I tell my friends, I'm not bigoted, I hate everyone equally, but put up with a select few. So much for the ones who crap on you! Enjoy the weekend!
from frogeye :
A "bright spot"! Doesn't that sound rewarding in an eeire sort of way. Probably is nothing. If they shot a look at my brain I'm sure it would be lit like a Christmas tree and then some.
from frogeye :
What do you mean stroke! Get the help you need, you dope! Really, if you need medical assistance, don't hesitate.
from misspinkkate :
YOU SAID IT. Oprah. Scary.
from fightn4life :
Face it we live in a world gone mad. I could care less what any one thinks...not important. Sandyz
from frogeye :
And then I was thinking of using the liberal rules to help myself rather than hunker down and work hard. Denounce my citizenship! Walk into the American consolate and denounce my being an American. Without a country to export me to, I could live off society and get the perks that any immigrant could have. What a great country where any patriotic boy can grow up and become a not-american.
from frogeye :
Not really much of a choice for a conservative. Had to go with McCain, although I didn't agree with a lot he had to say. Nobody else out there, even now, to lead the way. I was thinking of calling my little property it's own soverign state and I would rule as lord and master. But I understand that the government frowns on that move.
from frogeye :
An Eastener! Sorry, but I saw the name and just assumed. Anyway, here in NY, they are blithering idiots. Mindless twits who don't see thru the smoke sceens. They welcomed Hillary with open arms and listed to her years of lies.
from frogeye :
Read your note on Obama. Didn't know anyone from the West Coast didn't like him. Welcome to my world. And, hey, you work with people is to be commended!
from minstrelite :
This has come up before with someone. You would have felt them.
from fightn4life :
I liked your here-now entry. SOmething about it made me smile. Sandyz
from minstrelite :
I know what you mean about them enemies. One day I walked over to the cafe with a smile on my face and one guy said: "Why are you smiling, Pope?" I said, "I'm smiling because I'm happy." Of the two guys, one of them smiled back at me, and the other shouted: "Liar!" Kinda like the two thieves on either side of the Cross, if you don't mind the analogy. I'm really happy for you. :)
from fightn4life :
Congratulations on your marriage…why didn’t I know about this. I need to spend more time on DL and less time playing with face book. Sandyz
from minstrelite :
Sorry your day sucked and your husband and you are sick. But glad you are happily married! I hadn't seen your updates lately, until now. Blessings and Joy - /andy :)
from misspinkkate :
You can sit by me on the 4th of July, sister! We can sob like two old ninnies together :D
from eowyn86 :
I LOVE Coldplay!! Their latest CD is just amazing... one of few that I can listen to over and over again.
from misspinkkate :
I tried the whole "look online and keep track of your balance in your head" thing, but that just led to bounced checks!
from shadowfeet :
Thank you. and I'm sorry.
from swimmmer72 :
My next vacation destination? Someplace relatively close in October, but I have nothing planned yet. Long run? 11 years from now, back to being a gypsy and wandering wherever I please. :)
from swimmmer72 :
No image on your page - template problem? Anyway, I know you know how to fix it. The actual question of the day - So when's the big move east???? :)
from minstrelite :
I'll try it again - I haven't made the train yet, as I am still (1) trying to wrap things up here, and (2) trying to figure out a temporary place to stay at litle-or-no cost while I'm in the process of looking. I'm awaiting some paychecks before making my train reservation - which isn't too high. Only $87 one way by AmTrak. Nice, and I bet it will be an enjoyable trip.
from misspinkkate :
We're looking at April 10, 2010, and you didn't miss the entry- I didn't want to announce the date because I think there are people who read my site who might want to be invited who are not going to be....
from minstrelite :
I tried writing you because I am finally on my way up to Seattle, but it bounced. I wonder if your email address is not-the-same. This is wonderful about the groom - when are you leaving Seattle?
from misspinkkate :
Glad to hear I wasn't the only one with Facebook engagement troubles! Why is Facebook trying to ruin our fun? Boooo Facebook. Congrats on your wedding as well :D
from swimmmer72 :
I think you'll like Gettysburg. It's a nice, quaint little town, even if you aren't a history buff, and if you are into history, you'll love it! I was there last October. Sure, living vicariously through me is fine, especially if it prompts you to try the occasional adventure. Thanks for the comment! :)
from minstrelite :
That note might have sounded rude (I later thought) - I didn't mean it that way! You can deleted it if you want, I was just trying to be cute. It really is good to have you back, Bethany.
from mrbilly :
Hi, it's outwalking. Diaryland won't e-mail me my password so I now have a new username (rolls eyes). Sorry. :/
from and-the-way :
Thank you. :)
from fightn4life :
So glad to see you writing once again...I love your page. Sandyz
from fightn4life :
Thanks for adding me...I have you on my list of faves. I hope you keep writing...I have learned to write the pain away. My self help has helped me through many a storm. Sandyz
