it's good to know that someone realizes what a teacher should be. especially a math teacher. I think sympathize with a lot of what you said. The few times I've had really good math teachers, I was a whiz at it. The rest of the time, when I had lazy math teachers, I felt lost the whole time. Best of wishes with all that!

The song is "you can't over love your underwear." I know this because I of the websearch I did for a graphic for my entry. There are a surprising number of fan sites for these fruity country singers.

Congrats on the getting paid thing. Hurting for money can be a bitch, but I have realized that, eventually, things resolve themselves--if we're willing to work for that resolution.

Those are good and too true. However, I would rather put some Valium in the water so the kids are getting it. We've joked about this--about who we would send to get water the most often :o)
from teacherlady2 :
I'm so sorry about your great-nephew and his family. It's always so sad when a child dies.

There are still people in Florida waiting to have their roofs fixed from the three hurricanes we had in a row. I was lucky in that I didn't get much damage *knocking on wood*

Your entry has reminded me of my long-held theory on the higher-ups in the college/university echelon. I have long been convinced that they give the most important decision making jobs to 5th grade drop-outs. There ya have it. That is the answer to your question :o)
from gumphood :
Well thats fantastic then. I love luck of the draw.

Ms Jen Den, I don't know why you came by, but thanks. You survey was very fun to read.

What I said made absolute sense, if you were in my head, lol. I meant during one part of the year I'm in the time zone to the west of my state and the other I'm in the time zone to the east of my state. Anyhow, I know what ya mean about scheduling problems... My department only offers each class once and not every semester either.
from teacherlady2 :
The first, huh? Was it as good for you as it was for me? *big grin*
from teacherlady2 :
Thanks so much for reading my diary! I glanced through yours and liked what I saw, so I added you to my favs list. I'm looking forward to reading more. I wish you the best of luck in your schooling and future teaching career. It is truly the first job that I have ever actually loved. I get up each morning and want to go to work. For the first year, I never really connected my job to my paycheck--I always felt a little surprised that they were paying me to do this. I got over that, though :o) What I'm trying to say is that, if you have a calling for this career, it is a wonderful way to earn a living.
