I sent you an email through your diaryland email addy. Things are better and I feel I can share now, although not unlock completely just yet.
from seekingme :
Thanks for your note, and for de-lurking. Everytime I think I've identified the "problem" it turns out to be something else. But yes I do believe that I can overcome! I just have to keep trying. :)
from summer-gale :
Hello, I have never heard of you before and you've never left a note or comment before. you are obviously a long time diarylander and from out of my state but I have no idea if you know the person I'm locking against and we have no previous relationship that I know of. I will read some and get back to you but even if I stay locked it's temporary, I hope, and only until 9-27
from seekingme :
Hi, sorry for locking, but my GF decided to go rummaging through my old entries and dig up stuff to fight about. So I locked her out. I will probably re-open as soon as I can renew my gold status and then block her IP. But in the meantime, if you want the password, just email me at klynnbee@Hotmail.com.

6/30 I had a hard time reading Plan B. I loved Tender Mercies much better. I loved listening to Bird by Bird on my iPod.
from simplify :
12/22 do not get me started on the christmas letters. holy hell, why do people do it? i keep thinking i should do one just to show everyone how to make it entertaining, but i never do. also, the photo cards? i hate them. HATE THEM. i've gotten something like 12. most of them are just adults. oi.
from simplify :
11/16 i love, love, love the entry about the december issue of martha stewart. that's pretty much how i go through the magazine, too. also, it's a proven scientific fact that butter motivates.
from simplify :
this is funny. when i first replied that i was trying to quite drinking so much soda, i didn't realize that your comment was from the entry in which i referrenced doing something that was personally challenging. the personally challenging thing is a total separate issue from my soda drinking. hee hee.
from simplify :
i am cutting down on soda! i drink pepsi one, which doesn't have any sugar, but the caffeine is still beautiful and life enriching. i only drink one soda a day. unless something happens and then i have two.
from simplify :
i'm so sorry about your friend. my grandma died a few years ago. my first birthday after her death i had such horribly hurt feelings because she didn't send me a birthday card. i'm not really sure what was worse the hurt feelings or the realization that i would never get another grandma birthday card.
from simplify :
i love found money so much that it's not unusual for me to plant money in pant pockets from time to time. it's such a thrill to find it! i remember that from the days when i did hair and always had tons of bills on hand from my tips. i was constantly finding money in my pockets in those days.
from simplify :
first of all, i get those inflamed tastebuds all the time and they're so annoying, yet i cannot stop messing with them. secondly, you would make an *excellent* artist because of that part of your brain that says, this is dumb. because we've all seen stuff (so-called art) and had to ask, uh...why?
from simplify :
i was glad to learn that you modified your pledge to only read your unread/half read books. a person has to have new reading material. i'm reading richard russo's empire falls right now. the imagery of the eskimo pie delivery was beautiful. man, i love a person who NEEDS an eskimo pie. i concur that air is good.
from simplify :
i first learned of laurie colwin when i was working at a bookstore and we got an advanced copy of more home cooking. that's when i decided to collect everything she's written. she was really wonderful.
from simplify :
i had to give up on that old ace in the hole. i just couldn't do it. even when someone else read it to me, i still couldn't do it. i'm taking my lead from you and i'm going to finish every book i've started before i buy anything new. it's a tiny bit scary on account of the fact i've bought some very boring nonfiction recently.
from rachelliz :
Thanks for the words...from you and Jess Klein. I also am all about the lyrics. Perhaps I deserve a new CD as a treat-myself-nice gift.
from simplify :
i noticed you added me to your buddy list. i spent some time this evening poking around. i really loved the "i'm not saying i'm old, but..." my favorite was when you called the dog your husband's name. i'm enjoying reading you.
from eucalia :
Hi there! My entry titles are always something that I came across during the day--in a conversation, song lyric, in a book, on TV--whatever. Yeah, they're a bit random, but always from that day, so they remind *me* of something that happened even if most everyone else thinks I'm a nutter! Thanks for reading!
from rachelliz :
I tried email, but the address didn't work. Maybe I typed it wrong. Anyway, that is sooo funny! You must be feeling my wavelength. I don't have court and spark actually, although I've heard it. Maybe that should be on my list to purchase. My tape has Blue on one side and For the Roses on the other. And Joni who...I know Joni! 8)
from rachelliz :
And I just read your profile and you like Cheryl Wheeler. I love her! How cool.
from aroha :
it must be a girl thing. i thought i was the only one with a stationery problem, but it's starting to be uncovered...it's a disease.
