Thought I'd leave a note instead *g* Thats how I got into Savage Garden, I saw the video for IWY and just sat there amazed. Then TMD came out and that was it, I had to get the album. I didn't find out much about them until we got the internet and then Affirmation came out. I found the SG bbs through checking for tour dates and lurked for a while. It hadn't occured to me that you could make friends and so on, but once I started posting that was it. I got to see them in concert once (09.12.00 in Manchester) and the following summer a group of us BBS guys from around the UK (and one from Germany) met up for a weekend. By then the band's hiatus had started and the worry that it would lead to a split. It did. Darren got his own BBS, so there were two. The then SG one closed down. We moved to the other BBS (where it is now) but what with one thing and another, it wasn't long before that wasn't home for me anymore. I didn't get chance to see him during this tour (I was beyond broke) but there will be no stopping me next time. I miss Daniel though. I met a lot of amazing people through SG, so they will always be my first love *g* but I am so proud of Darren :) OK. This has to be the longest note I have ever left so I think I should shut up :P
