Quitting wasn't that bad, once I set my mind to it. I used that quit-smoking drug Chantix, which helped me over the first couple of bad months, when I was counting down how many hours I'd been off smokes. Be careful, though, it has apparently been linked to suicidal thoughts. I had some nausea every day I used it, but I knew that I wouldn't have to use it after a while. Just counted up, and I am now off cigarettes for 18 months!!! The weight loss has been the same. I had to decide I was really ready, and make the commitment to it, because it's just too darned hard, otherwise.

I know, I know ... I'm going to update again real soon. Promise. I've just been working these crazy 14-hour days seven days a week at work. It should be over by 6/30, but maybe even sooner, if I can swing it. I'm not doing much besides working and sleeping anyway.
