hey, i saw solaris too, and don't know quite what to make of it either. i slept a good fifteen hours after seeing it, but im not sure if that had anything to do with the movie. the original is better, but even more drawn out. and the guy isnt as good looking as george clooney.

i'm almost as afraid of the mysterious squiggly line channel as i am of spiders. in both cases, i'll be mesmerized by them for a while, so i'll watch them for a while in bewilderment, and then i'll realize that i'm totally freaking out and i'll make them go away. i think they are the devil.

im glad to know someone else is obsessed as me with the tenenbaums dvd. i could watch that "with the filmmaker" on an endless loop. i saw it in the theater 5 times too by the way, including the first night it was out. also, im glad youve been writing more recently.
